What is max size of slicer values in Power View on SharePoint?

I have Power View on SharePoint 2013 and OLAP Cube on SQL Server 2014 solution.
I should have 1000 values in DimCity, but not all are available in slicer.
Why? What is max value?
Kenny_I

Hi Kenny_I,
According to your description, you have 1000 values in a data field, but some of them are not available in Power View slicer. Right?
In this scenario, as we tested in our local environment, it's not related to the number of values. We tried 2000+ values in a slicer. It can return all the data field values properly. Please check if it has corresponding value for each DimCity. It has
no limitation on max number of values within a slicer.

    I've been through the commuity and on-line retailer pages and I'm confused by the variety of answers here.  I know the max thickness must be 2.5."  But some say 5400 RPM; others say 7200.  Some say 1TB but show only 750GB.
    Is iTB safe in this box?  Overheating issues?
    I've seen a Seagate Momentus 1TB from one retailer but can't find any trace of it at others or on the Seagate site.

    Hello,
    The most important thing is that it be Serial ATA (1.5 Gb/s) compatible, there is no practical limit other than manufactured size in that form & speed.

    The 750 GB WD I checked was SATA 3 Gb/s.

  • Max size CPU for 6156bx ?

    Hi all,
     I'm still playing about with the "old trusty" ms6156bx MoBo. The P3 650 cpu was working fine untill we had a lightning strike fairly close to home - fried the CPU. So had to resort back to the P2 400  ;( (MoBo & all else still working fine)
     Question is, Does anyone know what the max size CPU this board can take ? I have the chance of getting hold of a P3  1 ghz 100 fsb cpu ,But not sure if Mobo could take it. Maybe an 800 would be better (if I can find one)
    Any advice ???

    Hi, to get a Tualatin to work on that mobo you need a FCPGA2 to Slot 1 converter, it is not very usual, perhaps you don´t have this slocket, one that it´s known is the Powerleap PL-IP3 or something like that, it supports Tualatin processors. Check if your converter supports Tualatin processors first, so you don´t burn a processor again!!!

    There is no known limitations in file size, except the compression file size that is set to 24MB by default. If you exceed 24MB, the cmp file will be splitted into several files. You can change the default 24MB value up to 1024MB, using the -compressionsize
    parameter.

  • What is the max size of HDD I can use in my dc7600 CMT

    I am using an HP dc7600 CMT which is working fine after upgrading to a Samsung 128GB SSD, Intel Pentium D 3.4 GHz, 4GB RAM, and an AMD Radeon HD 6450. I am running Win 8.1 Pro x64, with the most recent upgrade, and have absolutely no problems. I now want to add a second internal HDD, and wonder what is the max size  I can go to. Can I go to 2TB, or am I limited to a lower figure? 1TB? 500GB? 250GB?
    Will be glad for some help here, especially if it has been actually tried in practice.
    Thanks in advance.

    You're very welcome.
    Yes, they are very nice machines.
    What a jump in performance when I swapped out the Pentium 4 620 mine had, for the PD 945, and tossed in 4 GB of memory.
    That box will also run the Radeon HD 6570 with no problem too, which is what I put in mine.
    The downside of that model is that there are no settings for ahci or raid.
    I own or have owned every CMT since the d510 with the exception of the dc7900.
    My main PC is now the 8200 Elite CMT which I installed W8.1 on.
    It has an i7-2600 processor and 32 GB of memory, 1 TB SATA III hard drive.
    I threw in a Radeon HD 6670 in that one.

  • What is the max size of a zip file with the JDK1.5 ?

    Hello everybody,
    I'm a french student and for a project, I need to create a zip file, but I don't know in advance the number and the size of files to include in my zip.
    I wish to know if someone have the answer to my question : what is the max size of a zip file with the JDK1.5 ? I believe that with the JDK1.3, the limit size of a zip was about 2Go, wasn't ?
    Thank you for all answer !
    Good day !
    PS : sorry for my very poor english ;-)

    Here is all I have found for the moment :
    ...Okay, what about my suggestion of creating your own 10GB file?
    Try this:import java.io.File;
    import java.io.RandomAccessFile;
    import java.nio.ByteBuffer;
    import java.nio.channels.FileChannel;
    import java.util.Random;
    class Main {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            long start = System.currentTimeMillis();
            int mbs = 1024;
            writeFile("E:/Temp/data/1GB.dat", mbs);
            long end = System.currentTimeMillis();
            System.out.println("Done writing "+mbs+" MB's to disk in "+
                    ((end-start)/1000)+" seconds.");
        private static void writeFile(String fileName, int numMegaBytes) {
            try {
                int numBytes = numMegaBytes*1024*1024;
                File file = new File(fileName);
                FileChannel rwChannel =
                        new RandomAccessFile(file, "rw").getChannel();
                ByteBuffer buffer = rwChannel.map(
                        FileChannel.MapMode.READ_WRITE, 0, numBytes);
                Random rand = new Random();
                for(int i = 1; i <= numMegaBytes; i++) {
                    for(int j = 1; j <= 1024; j++) {
                        byte[] bytes = new byte[1024];
                        rand.nextBytes(bytes);
                        buffer.put(bytes);
                rwChannel.close();
            } catch(Exception e) {
                e.printStackTrace();
    }On my machine it took me 43 seconds to create a 1GB file, so it shouldn't take too long to create your own 10GB. Then try zipping that file.
    Good luck.

  • What is Max HDD size for MacBook Pro 15" bought in 2006-07

    Hi
    I bought a MacBook Pro 15" about 3.5 - 4 yrs ago. The model is A1211.
    It came with 120GB HDD, 2GB RAM.
    What is the maximum HDD size that this will support? The Apple store employee says, it will support only upto 160 GB. But, I am skeptical it would be that low.
    So, was wondering if anybody knows the max size, and also, which HDD would be best. I want at least 320 GB.

    You can get a 750 GB drive that is 9.5mm high. As far as I know, the 1 TB drives are all still 12.5 mm high, although that could change at any time.
    The fastest 750 GB drive I know of is this one:
    http://www.seagate.com/www/en-us/products/laptops/laptop-hard-drives/
    It is 7200 RPM. At 5400 RPM, there are many other choices. You might want to shop at Newegg, which often has specials on drives, as does Tiger Direct. Newegg also has reviews of individual drives you can look at.
    Personally, I like Western Digital drives, and put the 500 GB Scorpio Black drive in my 2007 MBP, where it has performed without issue. The largest drive that originally shipped with my MBP was a 4200RPM 250 GB drive, the very biggest one you could order in a MBP back then.
    Any 2.5 inch SATA drive should work just fine. The only one I would avoid is WD's 640 GB drive because a number of people have has issues with it in their Macs.
    You might shop around on line a bit, and if you are torn between two or more drives, post back with what they are and ask for opinions. Everybody has favorite drives, so it may not be possible to get anything other than a bunch of opinions.
    One other thing to watch out for. Some drives are sold with or without some form of free fall sensor. Apple has its own built in sensor called the Sudden Motion Sensor. In some machines and drives, there seems to be a conflict between the drive's sensor and Apple's SMS. If that happens, you would need to disable Apple's sensor. Usually it's easier just to select the drive without a built-in sensor and let Apple's SMS work as its designed to do. In the Seagate drive I linked, it's called "G-Force", but would have a different name in a different brand.
    Incidentally, you can up your RAM to 3 GB if you like.
    Good luck!

    what is the max size of attachment that possible to send with icloud email?

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    There isn't an attachment size limit as such, the limit applies to the entire message including all attachments, which is 20 MB.
    if you are using a mail application to send emails (ie not via a web browser) you may be subject to smaller limits imposed by your own ISP.

    Hello Erwin!
    As it normally is the same BIOS for them, I think this might help:
    http://www.msi.com.tw/program/products/mainboard/mbd/pro_mbd_detail.php?UID=131
    "On-Board IDE
    • An IDE controller on the VIA® VT82C686B Chipset provides IDE HDD / CD-ROM with PIO,

    BIOS, update version 4.4
    "-Support HDD Size larger than 137GB"
    Hmm, how can you see if you have succesfully updated to version 4.4? because I am not sure if I did it right
    Also it supports HDD larger than 137gb, does it support up to a 300 gb?

    Hi,
         I have a problem with a very large message. The scenario is a JDBC -> SAP PI -> ABAP Proxy. I'm getting this error:
    ErrorTransmitting the message to endpoint http://<server>:8000/sap/xi/engine?type=entry
    using connection JDBC_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to:
    com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: java.io.IOException: Error writing to server.
         We try to solves it changing the EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT parameter in SXMB_ADM but it doesn't help us at all.
         How can we set the max size for a message that going thru SAP PI.
         We have SAP PI 7.0 SPS 13.

    HI Luis
    Whats the message size and whats the value you have given in EO_MSG_SIZE_LIMIT. After saving this parameter did you verified at RWB ->RWB->Component Monitoring->Integration Engine->
    Settings->Tuning
    Add one more EO_INBOUND_TO_OUTBOUND this will allow data not to be placed on Outbound queue and bring to inbound queue. This is having advantage that to process high volume message you will get better performance but disadvantage is when there is no receiver inbound queue is blocked.
    It can be a issue related to connection. Please check with the RFC you have for proxy and IE RFC's
    Thanks
