What to purchase ?
Which development system should I purchase and begin studying when I need to develop 'client side' applets (I dont have a better name) run in a WEB browser ?
My embedded internet server will provide a html page for the user (his browser). I could stick to pure html but there are quite a lot of data that has to be shown in graphs, which are next to impossible to do in html.

I guess J2SE SDK is 'just' a compiler ?It's the compiler, the JVM, the core libraries and the API documentation. If you don't want to confuse yourself with the new stuff like Generics, you might want to take 1.4.2 instead of 1.5.0 btw. There's not much of a difference to what you want to do, so you might spare yourself some headaches.
There isn't any IDE thats commonly used in
conjunction with this ?There are a lots of IDEs, though none specific to applets. And I advise against using them, because for a beginner, they hide the stuff they should know about and confuse people with hundreds of features they'll never need. If you still want an IDE, just type "best IDE" into the search box.

for sure if the word 'applets' where correct when
dealing with Java.Applets are little applications that are distributed using a webserver and presented as embeddings in HTML pages. If you model your application well (based on a JPanel), you can easily replace JApplet (the base class for an applet) with a JFrame (the base class for a stand-alone GUI) later, if you need to, without having to re-write code.

I think my granddaughter bought a $3.99 app after I put the password in for a free app. I just got an email from my credit card confirming the purchase. How can I find out what she purchased? Can I get credit for it?
The password is good for 15 minutes to make purchases. You should receive a receipt in 24 to 48 hours for the purchases. There is a link to Report an issue. You could use that to start a conversation with iTunes Support about a refund.
Apple considers all sales final. But has been known to offer a one time refund. So the question is, do you want to use your one time refund on this purchase or one more expensive in the future? -

Again, Apps will always be tied to the account from which they were purchased and will always have to be updated using that account.

There is nothing that you can do to get rid of the balance on your own. Contact iTunes Store Support and seek their assistance. I believe that they can reset your balance for you.

Along with the edition, what you need to run (in Windows) and whether you need to run Windows natively and dual boot, or both dual boot and use a VM, need to be answered.
The more RAM and the better your cpu (new 2012? or older) and allocating say 80GB for Windows partition.

Usually other is files that have been copied to the iPod directly, or space you have told the iPod to reserve for other files by enabling disk use.

I'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

I click on the iTunes button, but it only shows the names of the songs, I click on the App Store icon and it shows apps, but none of these match the charge, there is no email regarding purchases. What is the point of having reference numbers when they don't allow you to use them to reference??

Need advice on what to purchase:FCE,iMovie09,Soundtrack,Garageband.
Deciding best purchases.I am attracted to moving up, seeking a better visual experience for editing. Looking at Final Cut express, Soundtrack, Garageband, ilife09 with iMovie09. The more I read the more confusing it is. I am often lining up educational audio to video for hiqual pro product (voiceover mixed with 1 track of music-usually only 2 track audio). I am experienced somewhat in Audacity. I might need noise clean later. With multi versions out there and changes to stuff (this dropped this added) what should I do. This all started because I was told I should/could be using garageband instead of Audacity and then importing my iMovie06 into it. But then I can't export it back as project tro iMovie06 I think. I was told move up to iMovie09 since FCE is too complicated for now. But it appears FCE allows visual tie in of audio and video but then I don't know what version of FCE to get (Soundtrack was dropped form latest version FCE). Do I still need to use garageband with FCE for audio editing?

It depends on what you need to do. Audio can be edited in FCE, which includes a good set of audio filters & effects. I've done some pretty extensive audio editing in FCE and even when I did have SoundTrack I never used it. If you're adding voiceovers or additional audio tracks then I'd say FCE can do what you need and you don't need an external audio editor. (Except perhaps for sound cleaning, for which I suggest SoundSoap.)
Overall, I'd suggest spelling out exactly what kind of video & audio editing you think you need or want to do. Then with those requirements you can figure out which software is best suited to your needs.
