What to write in update button?

Question

Hi,
I m creating a screen to modify data. I m able to query on my screen and able to modify one of the value (e.g name), I have created a button to save changes
<h:commandButton value="Save Changes" actionListener="#{myBean.update}"/>
but dont know what to write in myBean.update method?
plz help.
I m using NetBeans5.5 with Tomcat5.5.17.

GOD!!! this means updation process is dependent on
JDBC, HIBERNATE etc??It is just dependent on the data access layer you're using .. Nothing more or less. There are hundreds ways to access your database. As long as we know nothing about your DAL solution, we cannot give you a suitable answer.
OK, it's Hibernate. That's easy: Session#save(). The same way as you've invoked Sesion#load() to query the objects from the database.
Pease read the Hibernate Reference Documentation, it is very descriptive.
