When I came to up grade DRAM to 2 GB in each slot the ejection ribbon in the empty DRAM slot lies across the contacts!

I have an iMac7.1IntelCore2Duo2.4 GHz It had 1GB of DRAM from new. When I came to up grade DRAM to 2 GB in each slot so I couls upgrade to Lion I changed the active slot with no problem at all- it's running faster just with that. But when I came to put the 2nd DRAM in the empty slot it would not go in and when I looked carefully I could clearly see that the plastic ribbon which ejects DRAM in slot 2 was installed so as to prevent installation- it is attched so that it lies across the contacts! looks like a manufacuring error to me- has anyone else had the problem and how did you solve it? Any suggestions?

I've recently gotten an iPhone 5s and apprently messed up and lost all my contacts. I tried doing a back-up to regain everything...but failure.
Now. when i go into my iMessage, i type a letter expecting the persons whos contacts i've added back to appear...NO.. all the contacts (including those that i've lost) appear there to select.
However, when i go into my contacts now, i can't see the ones that were intially lost. help please.

Hi,
To show up in Windows Explorer, you can try placing the iPod into
disk mode.
Moreover, i recommend you to
restore ipod to factory settings.
If this issue still persists, locate to device manager, uninstall and reinstall USB Mass Storage Device driver.

Apple removed the YouTube connection. Google has an app you can use but it needs some work.

When I use imessage with a friend it shows his email instead of the contact name. also I cant send an imessage to him, why? we both have iphone 4s with IOS 5.0.1

Make sure you both have iMessage turned on in Settings -> Messages. The Receive At setting on your friend's phone will show how you can reach him/her (just as your setting will show how they can reach you). Hope this helps!

Hi tranvietanh - I appreciate you contacting us all the way from New Zealand! I can confirm that the iPhone 5s and all of our other 4G LTE device are not SIM locked. As the carrier in New Zealand may not support the exact same frequencies and cellular bands that we use on our network, we are unable to support the device if using a 3rd party SIM.

I don't understand why this keeps happening and it's been going on for a wile now. I have tried over and over again to get this iPhone to work but nothig is happening. I've even gone on the website for support (apple.com/support) but cannot find anything that will help me with this situation. Can someone please help me find a solution to this problem? I have been without a phone and do not have money to buy another one and it is crucial for me to get it fixed. Thanks.

What computer operating system is involved in the Premiere Elements 11 and 13 issues? Same computer or different ones? Are you installing from purchased download installation files or from purchased installation disc? Does Premiere Elements 11 work completely on this computer whereas 13 will not?
Let us go through the typical drill so as to take nothing for granted.
1. Does the problem exist with or without the antivirus and firewall(s) disabled? Are you working with an individual home computer or in a
school or company network?
2. Are you running the program as Administrator and is there any "domain" account involved?
3. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card?
4. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements?
Let us start by ruling in or out any of the above, and then we can decide what next.
Any questions or need clarification, please do not hesitate to ask.

I have the same problem and can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I rebuilt my iTunes library and still my 6G nano crahes whenever I load an AAC tune onto it. MP3s and podcasts all work fine, it's just the AACs...
Just *loading* an AAC song will cause the Nano 6G to reboot as soon as it disconnects from Itunes. It will then reboot a few times and then go into recovery mode. :-(

Now I have tried to do it again and it tells me “that number has already been approved and uploaded” However, it has not because I do not have the cloud programs yet. After admittedly only a quick read the one thing you don't say is how you are trying to make this move. Most people with moving library issues do it the wrong way. Plenty of web sites tell you how to do it the wrong way.
If the iTunes application is started before the drive with the library is fully mounted and awake iTunes will revert back to the internal drive.

If the battery was empty (and it may then take 10 to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the equivalent of a reboot.

Glad 7.7.1 worked for you, I updated itunes on my macbook, and every time i try to sync the music to my ipod classic, it goes for 23 songs and then it freezes and I get "Cannot read or write to this disk", and it ejects it. I tried uninstalling itunes, reinstalling an earlier version (7.6.2) same problem, plus a new issue with itunes. (It was a clean uninstall, btw, I got everything cleaned out, I think, lol). Video's transfer fine. And no good way to get ahold of apple. That's great. If I have no music on my ipod, it's useless. Think they'll give me my money back? (lol)

I kind of ran into the same issue when I checked my purchased apps on my iPad in the iTunes store. A bunch were not there. I then looked at iTunes on my computer and again, a bunch were missing. I realized I had not synched in quite a while. Once I synched everything was ok. As the poster above said, iTunes knows you have already purchased them so you can redownload for free. However, be aware that when you do red own load you will be asked to pay again, just say ok and the next popup will say that you have already purchased the app.
Lesson I learned - synch more often. Boy, I can't wait for IOS5......
