When I go into pdf file it only gives me the option to convert into pdf when it's already a pdf. I want to convert it into word and I've purchase this a few months ago now I need help
I Need help in converting a pdf into word. I've purchased it a few months ago and now for the first time I tried to use word and I can't it only gives me the option to convert it into a pdf when it is already a pdf! Urgent help please
Not sure what you mean by "tried to use Word". ExportPDF doesn't change what Word can do. Can you explain what you try and what happens in more detail?

Whenever I try to load ff on my asus transformer tablet, the download only gives me the option to load it to my phone--that already has ff downloaded. There's a box in the download that lists the devices to send the download to, and the only option it will let me choose is my phone, and it won't let me add the tablet. This tablet is a ff supported device.
Have you tried searching the Android market on the device for Firefox?

Just select Print in Safari and then, in the bottom left-hand corner, select PDF and you can save it to whichever flavor pdf file you like.

I have purchased I pad mini e few days ago. I need help as follows:
(1) Camera: i did take a few photos but something has gone wrong. As i press the camera icon, I get a blank dark black screen. What do you think has gone wrong ? HELP URGENTLY REQUIRED.

For the Camera app, try closing it via the taskbar and see if it works when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the iPad's screen, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't fix it then try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
In terms of syncing, you will need iTunes on your computer - if you haven't already downloaded it then you can do so from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
You can conncet the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enable the sidebar on iTunes 11 on a PC via control-S), and use the tabs on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to sycn your content to the iPad.

For the excel file, what app are you viewing/editing it in ? If the values are different then it may be that the app that you are using doesn't support all the formulas that are being used in the spreadsheet. Apps that 'support' excel documents include Apple's Numbers app, and from third-parties apps such as Documents To Go ('premium' version) and QuickOffice Pro HD. -
When click the email icon on my iphone, it opens on one email only. I can not go to the next or previous email, a different email or anything. It only gives me the option to move that email! How can I stop this. Its been working perfectly well before!
Now as you may know there is some icons at the bottom of the mail app, at the top left conner you should have the inbox button and on the upper right conner you should have two arrows to shift between emails. If any of those options works try :
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings
If that does not work try to re add the account
Last but not least, restore as new.

I have tried downloading iTunes (and Quicktime), but instead of giving me the option to "run" the program, Firefox only gives me the option to "save" the program (which I already tried, does not work to give me access to the downloaded program). Is there a setting I need to change?
That's intentional, because running exe files from your browser is a major security concern. You can run the file after you have downloaded it. If you don't know where it is on your computer, go to '''Tools > Downloads''', and double-click on it from the Downloads window.

I bought my iPad mini two weeks ago and used my apple ID to make it sync with my iPhone. But so far I have not been able to activate iMessage and face time. It only gives me the option of signing in and when I do that I get an error message telling me that either my user name or password for my email is incorrect; even though I have been using my correct my apple ID in the password entry area. My apple ID works for every thing else. Please, can you help in this case?

I want to take the photos off my iPhone and put them directly onto an external hard disk - I don't have any room left on my computer. I want to bypass iPhoto altogether. When I link my iPhone to my computer, it only opens in iTunes, which only gives me the option to save my photos to iPhoto. Help! This is seriously frustrating!.
Additionally, I'd like to be able to take the 2000+ photos out of iPhoto and put them on a disk in a folder. I have managed to export them to the hard disk but it's just plonked all 2000+ photos in a list - not ideal if I want to use it for anything else. And then I have to manually delete the photos from iPhoto. Is there not a quick and easy way of dealing with this?
Anyone got any bright ideas? Thanks for your help!I too would like to be able to do this. Just put them where i want the. IFTT a scripting app will put the images in dropbox for you , but its been pretty iffy.

How to uninstall bootcamp partition if the assistant only gives me the option to install bootcamp?
I am trying to uninstall my Bootcamp partition but when I open bootcamp assistant it only gives me the option to install a bootcamp partition.
ThanksEither use Paragon's CampTuneX to resize it or use Boot Camp Assistant to remove the partition and restore the drive to one partition. Then create a new, larger Boot Camp partition. This will remove/delete/erase your Windows system.

Have you redeemed your iTunes card to an account associated with an Apple ID?
Once you have your iPad associated with an Apple ID AND you have an account with a credit card associated with the same Apple ID AND you have some 'store credit' (from redeeming your iTunes card) then purchases use the store credit before they charge the credit card, so you should be ok!
Personally, I use 'store credit' as a way to monitor whether or not there have been any 'unauthorised' purchases because as soon as the store credit is zero, the security code from the credit card is needed for further purchases! It does mean that I have sometimes to top up store credit before making a purchase, but 'better safe than sorry'! -
How can I erase my hard drive? Disk utility only gives me the option to erase free space.

1. Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
3. Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU to return to the main menu.
5. Select Reinstall Lion then click on the Continue button. You need an active network connection in order to download the Lion software. -
My phone doesn't give me the option to turn mirroring on when trying to connect to apple tv. As far as I can see everything is updated and the AirPlay is turned on. Be grateful if anyone knows what's wrong.

My phone started resetting today over and over and then shows the icon to plug into itunes. When I tried plugging in, a message pops up saying that itunes can't connect because my phone has a passcode and i need to unlock it to connect. my phone won't let me do anything more than make an emergency call. it wont give me the option to enter my passcode to unlock the phone. What can I do?
After a visit to the apple store, they were able to get through my pass code but unfortunately I found out that is was a problem with the logic board. Since Apple only wants to sell and not fix, I was able to locate an iphone repair near me that deals with logic boards and they are currently working on it right now. i should be getting it back soon. Im not sure if the problem you are experiencing is the same as i went through but it does sound like it may be also a hardware issue and would suggest searching online for an iphone repair place that can diagnose what exactly is wrong. Hope this helps.

FF thinks PDF files are binary files, doesn't give me the option to open them
I just got a new Mac, running OSX 10.7 Lion. I downloaded Firefox because I like it better than Safari. It's Firefox 7.0.1.
Aside from the fact that I can't figure out how to get all my bookmarks from the old mac to the new one, a really annoying thing is that I can't get the new Firefox to recognize PDF files as Acrobat documents. It thinks they are "binary" files, and the only option I have is to save them to disk.
I looked at the Applications preferences, and there is no entry for PDF files. I can't seem to create one. I checked the help and it says that to add a download preference you find the type of file you're interested in, click to download it, and tell it "open with" the application you want. But I don't get that option with PDF files, it doesn't let me tell it what to open it with, the only thing it allows me to do is either save to disk or cancel.I use Internet Explorer for my browser.
A/A - I have reinstalled the latest version of AdobeReader.
When I click an attachment to view it, the first option I am given is to 'save' the file, and then the next pop up message gives me the option to either 'open' or 'view file'. The thing is that I don't want to 'save' each file to my laptop to allow me to see it. I want to be able to merely 'open' the file to view aithout actually saving it first.
