When I preview a page in my browser, I only see the background

Just recently when I try to view a page or the entire site in a browser, all I am seeing is the background of the site. All the rest is missing, same thing happens when I try and publish the site as a testsite, just the background appears. The asset panel shows everything as linked. Can anyone help me with this ?

Hi there, as discussed earlier over email/case, it was an orphan and unclosed style tag in the "Main Master" Master page's Metadata (in Page Properties -> Metadata) that was causing the problem. Refer to the following screenshot - http://prntscr.com/331pkz.
Please remove the following line of code from Metadata and it should work fine.

If I had this problem I would try the followinng:
open the PPt file in PowerPoint (or Open Office for Mac, which is a free and reliable option to MS Office) save it as a PPt file and open in Keynote
open in PPt or Open Office, save all the slides as individual TIFF files and bring those into Keynote ( builds would not work on individual text or objects on a slide but at least you have the content)

When exporting 708 captions from Premiere Pro CC I only see the first 708 caption. Help?

Hi, our company just switched from Final Cut Pro 7 to Premiere Pro CC and we went from macs to PCs. I use the CaptionMaker program to create .mcc 608/708 caption files that I import into premiere, and I'm having a problem with the 708 captions. I embed the 708 captions in an mxf op1a file (I'm attaching a screen grab of my sequence and export settings) that I then copy to an XDCam disc, but when I play the disc back and check captions through our QC monitor I only see the first 708 caption and then the rest never appear. The 608 captions are there, but just the first 708 shows up. I've also had this problem when I print to video and when I create the captions in premiere instead of importing a caption file from CaptionMaker. And I was able to see 708 captions on a source that was captioned out of house so I know my QC monitor is working properly. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions for me to try? Thanks for your time.

I am not sure what product the dubbing house is using to master the tape. I will try to find out. As far as the file creation, I am using MacCaption to create the 608 & 708 .mcc file. Bringing this in to Premiere and exporting out the MXF file. I have contacted Telestream, the owner of MacCaption, there head of support says that other customers have had the same problem exporting out of Premiere. They have tested caption files and the files are fine that this is a problem in Premiere.

My main page has disapeared I can only see the piano roll editor

For more meaningful answers you'll need to post a URL to your test page so we can see it.
That said, DW Design View is not 100% reliable owing to different browsers, end-user settings and display sizes. Test your site in ALL major browsers (Chrome, FF, IE7, 8, Opera...) with increased/decreased text (zoom, text only). Also test with maximized and smaller than max browser viewport. Do this often during the design phase.
Use valid markup and CSS code. Bad code is the #1 cause of most page rendering problems.

Why am I all of a sudden not seeing any css when I preview my page in ie browser but chrome is ok ?

When I publish to web it is ok also. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hello Susan.
It's possible that you are having a problem with some Firefox add-on that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?
Whenever you have a problem with Firefox, whatever it is, you should make sure it's not caused by one (or more than one) of your installed add-ons, be it an extension, a theme or a plugin. To do that easily and cleanly, run Firefox in [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode safe mode] (don't forget to select ''Disable all add-ons'' when you start safe mode). If the problem disappears, you know it's from an add-on. Disable them all in normal mode, and enable them one at a time until you find the source of the problem. The figures you mention only make sense on your intranet. Are you still using the same wireless router. The verizon one is somewhat limited as far as max wireless-n performace. For one thing it only has a 2.4 radio. I like many people who wanted wireless-n performance before they even added a wireless-n gigabit router, have my own handling my wireless-n network.

I have a Macbook pro thats prints fine to my HP printer, but when I try and print from my iMac it doesnt see the pages and just prints two blank pages. Even thou the document is a number of pages

I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500A and I had no problems printing to it from my Mac or Macbook pro. The macbook is wifi and the Mac is cable, I have recently had the printer replaced with an exact model. Since doing that I can only print from the macbook pro, when I try and print from teh mac it doesnt see the pages. It could be a 10 page document and it will just show two blank pages. I have googled the question and have tried deleating the printer and reinstalling without any luck. When I got the new printer I insalled all the latest drivers thats the only thing different.

Right click the printer in System Prefences - Print & Scan and use Reset Printing System... and then reinstall the printer, should take less than 5 minutes. Here is a photo showing how to Reset Printing System....

If anyone is reading this still looking for what caused the issue and how to fix it here is what I discovered.
The antivirus program our company uses, Bitdefender Antivirus Plus, was causing some of the PDF files not to open. After troubleshooting the different modules and settings the culprit was..
Scan SSL in Privacy Control Settings. Turning it OFF solved the problem and all the PDF files that previously would not open now open just fine. This issue has been sent to Bitdefender for them to review. If you use a different antivirus program and are having this issue try locating the Scan SSL setting and see if turning it off solves the problem.
