When Skype Customer Service Doesn't Reply

I have an issue raised with Skype Customer service.
They have promised twice to reply but do not.
I have posted on the board. A mod replies, but does not answer my question fully and does not reply to follow up questions.
My question is not in the database.
So what do I do next?
I am posting this question here as I do not see anywhere else to ask this generic question.

    I have been trying to contact Skype for days. I keep getting sent to different areas which are no help. The email support is no longer valid (I tried and got this message). I found one place where I supposedly could be in contact by typing a question and being answered by type. However when I went to type nothing came up - I could not communicate. Why can't we contact by email or phone. I will be cancelling my account which I don't use, but still get payments taken out, even though autochage is off and my account is inactive. If i don't get a reply I will also cancel my card with the bank.

    Hello, I have a Skype (Baddieisboss) which I have used for over 2 years to run a business. I have accumulated over 5000 contacts throughout the 2 years which were customers and potential customers. Today I woke up, my Skype was logged off and it had said I had been blocked from using Skype. I contacted customer support and they told me I was suspended permanently for solicitation (breach of paragraph 6.3 (c) of the Terms of Use which prohibits the use of the Skype software to send unsolicited communications). I dug into this issue a bit more because I have never spammed anyone for any reason and found out that there was a huge loop hole that people are taking advantage of to close down Skype accounts with ease. All it takes is to make a few fake Skype accounts, add the person and use the report abuse function. The person doesn't even have to accept your friend request for you to do this. Customer service gives you automated messages saying it will not be reversed and to make a new account. Their automated system is very flawed and needs to be addressed as soon as possible. There are many other posts of people who are having the same issue. Russians add you, tell you to pay X amount of money or they will have your account banned, and voila 10 minutes later you're offline.I have tried to contact the skype email several times, they send automated messages and don't care about their customers at all, please help.

    I am not happy with Skype Customer Service.  My work forced me to log out of Skype to get my WiiFii working (don't ask me why).  I logged out, but could not log back in because I forgot my password.  I tried to get my password, but it went to an old non-existant email.  I then contaced Skype about 5 times to help; and they claim they can't identify me.  No one to talk to no emails to resolve it nada.  I want to keep my Skype account and want to work with customer service, but they are not at all good on interaction.  Anything I can do to get them to work with me?  I lost my contacts and funds .. not happy.  Is there a better service than Skype for customer service?

    Please understand that Workspaces is a free service; Adobe doesn't charge for it. As a result, it is not possible to provide 1:1 support. But I will try to answer your questions:
    What size limits are there on quantity of documents, total storaga capacity, folder sizes etc   -- No limit on number of documents uploaded or folder sizes, but the overall size limit for an account is 5 GB.

  • Scam? Hacked account? Skype customer service

    How can I know that it is not a scam? I made a complaint about an undelivered message and a refund claim. I received a confirmation email and a response email (attached below). I clicked the link and was directed to a chat. I was asked to provide my first name and my user. I was directed from one area to billing area. In that area I was asked to provide the first 6 and the last 4 digits of my payment card. I was told that somebody was using my card and that if I wanted to report it, I had to provide information on the name on the card and the issuing country. I didn't feel comfortable releasing such information and said that I would check with my bank. I have checked with my bank and no unusual movements have been made.
    Do you really use a customer support chat skype.ehosts.net?
    Am I supposed to provide that much detail?
    I don't feel safe using skype anymore. I want to cancel my account and ask for a refund of my unused credit. I won't provide any further details. If you are skype, you are supposed to know how I payed you, aren't you?

    I am pleased to confirm to you the message you received is legitimately from Skype Customer Service.  What you describe is Skype's method of authenticating your credentials, in other words, proving you are who you say you are.  These procedures are used to prevent identity theft.  Another good rule: ensure the communication method starts with https:// which tells you the communication method is secure.
    I use live customer service chat with other services; all of the chats start with https:// in the header of the chat window.  I have been asked similar questions, and for account-related enquiries, even more details are asked in order to confirm I am authorized to discuss the account.

  • Getting help beyond Skype Customer Service

    Does anyone know how to reach someone at Skype with any billing authority?  The customer service is worse than useless because they take a lot of time and offer absolutely no help.  I am the Skype manager for a few different Skype accounts.  I use these accounts for my business and for group video.  It looks like when Skype switched group video accounts to Skype premium accounts, they switched my quarterly account payments of $29 to monthly payment of $29, which means that I've been paying tripple on each account this year all year. 
    Now, I would like to get a refund for my overpayments, switch to a cheap yearly plan for all of my accounts and update the contact address for our company.  I'm not able to to do any of these things as far as I can tell because the interface is buggy. 
    Last year, I lost many hours just trying to get help changing the credit card for billing.  At the time I asked to be switched to one of the lower cost plans that had become available and they told me that I didn't have to do anything because it would happen automatically.  When it didn't,  I didn't have the energy to spend another day chatting with customer service reps, so I left it.  Next month, I will be changing banks and anticipate another excessively long battle. 
    Does anyone know how to get actual support from these guys? 

    I have been trying to get customer support for a year and no help. I have auto renew with unlimited United States calls and a Skype number and 99% of the time I can't make a call and am told it will cost me money. I tried online support and dealt with an idiot or I think it was computerized responses because they typed the same thing over and over for 6 hours before I gave up. Seems like once they get your money you're screwed. There is no help and there should be some way to file formal complaint. Sorry I'm no help but maybe someone will read this and come up with a REAL answer. Free Skype is good between computers but don't waste your money on subscriptions because you are on your own. This company needs legal action taken against it. Seems like by referring you to faqs and cutting you off once you get some kind of automated response they hope you will give up. Well, enough is enough. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Maybe a class action lawsuit might get some response.

    I sign up with Verizon on 08/04/2014 new plan new phones switched carries. It has been A nightmare. First I purchased one plan with two phones. They set up two accounts charging me for both on two different account numbers.  On August 11th I was told it was fixed by a local Verizon REP. Said it was a computer glitch. Now . Today I received two more bills , still two account and they even contain extra charges as if I was moving my telephones back and forth. Excessive over billing and still two account. When into store where I purchased because they knew I had this problem. They has me call customer service from the store telephone. After 1 hour on the phone with a rude person, the rep.  at the store and me both talked to her. She started saying your phone is breaking up hello are your still there. I was on a land line  then she put me on hold until I finally hung up. about 20 minutes. because I was already late going back to work. I have spent hours trying to get this fixed and now I have had the service for 30 days so I can not cancel. Does anyone know where to go for some help.

    File a complaint they will call you.
    Or take them to court for the over billing and your loss time from work to file and go to small claims court. Include the filing fee.
    Either way bring all your paperwork to have the judge look at.

  • The days are gone when a customer service manager could actually serve the customer.

    I can remember a day when asking to "speak to a manager" actually meant you were talking to someone who the company entrusted the authority to think outside box and take care of a customer.  AT&T has created a system where there is no real authority.  My issue? I signed up for the next plan and selected a Galaxy S6 Edge.  After about a week I was really struggling with the phone and went to AT&T to talk to an expert.  They helped me with a few of my issues but I learned that the real issue was touchwiz.  Coming from an LG phone I didn't like some of Samsung's ideas of how a UI should work.  They talked me into sticking with it because the phone was the best.  After more time (maybe a week) I went back.  I had issues with my hands being too big for the phone.  I kept touching the edge of the screen inadvertently.  Again, I was talked into sticking with it. After a month, I was done. I took my pristine phone back to AT&T with all the original packing. It had been in a case and had a screen protector installed since day one.   I found out that I had kept it past the 14 day window and that I was stuck. I thought if I spoke to a manager they would hear my case and rule in my favor. This was to no avail. I contacted the support found through their website. No one could help. They were all powerless. Even after hearing my plight they couldn’t do anything. They “System” would not allow it. At the store they suggested I sell my phone and buy a different one. So, I found an LG G4 and loaded my SIM. Now, I am trying to sell my S6 and no one wants it because it is not “unlocked.” Wow, now I have a phone that I can’t sell. You would think that AT&T would help a person out who their own people encouraged to keep with a product they didn’t like. You would think that AT&T would step up and do something special for a long time customer like myself. R.I.P. Customer Service.

    You can easily unlock the phone. Send the request through the unlock portal.
    I recently unlocked 2 of my phones. After I confirmed the email and got the code, I went to a T-Mobile and explained I was unlocking my ATT phones so I could use them out of the country. They were great, popped in a sim, entered the code, done in 3 minutes.

  • Customer service doesn't seem to want to help!

    Rang customer service, got through after 15 minute wait.  Did the usual pantomine asking about phone and line status, and the rep asked to ring me back on my mobile, which he did.  At which point he had me open the OpenReach connection box to get at the test socket, and plug the landline phone into that for a new line test. At which point we got cut off (I'll be generous here)...I waited, and waited...no call back.   So I rang the Customer Service number again, was told it would be a 10 minute wait...waited for 30 minutes and gave up. In the meantime, my "broadband" speed is 500K (strangely enough it is 700K upstream, which hardly makes sense at all)....I have rebooted the router, swapped the ADSL filter...and nothing improves.    

    Thanks for posting your stats(the picture took a while to be approved).I can see your noise margin at 17db is alot higher than it should be,Sky's target s 7db or less.The excess noise will be causing your slower speeds,do you have any noise(crackling,hissing or ticking) on your line when making or recieving calls?

    Why is it so tediously hard to find what/where to click to get to my email sub-accounts?  You brag that we can have multiple accounts but you overlook making it simple to find their location on your site!!
    And your customer service is by far the worst I've experienced between Direct TV, Dish and Verizon Fios.  Dish was the best. 
    Verizon has gotten so huge as to resemble the old AT&T, and some services are being ignored.  So the cure is to chop you up. 

    #1 Go to http://www.verizon.net/central/appmanager/portal/vzcentral
    #2 Log-in as need be, as the primay account holder.
    #3 Go to My Account.
    #4 Near the bottom, you can create / delete Or enable/disable certain feature of a sub account.
    #5 Log-out, as the primay account ownwer
    #6 Go to e-mail. Now you can log-in your sub account, if your sub e-mail account is enabled.
