I bought several pieces of electronic equipment including a laptop from a local Sony Outlet here Lewes, DE. .  When I bought the computer I  was told I had two choices of service.  I could bring it back to the outlet store and they would send it out for repair or replacement, or I could have Sony come to me to repair it or replace it.  There is also a 3rd choice, Sony's Web Site, www.sony.com appears to have support for sending your equipment to them for repair.  Hope this helps some.

  • Where can I send my phone to get the headphone jack repaired?

Yesterday, I accidentally got the tip of my headphones stuck inside the headphone jack of my iPhone 5s. I know that other people have had this problem and looked up various tutorials on how to get it out. I used superglue for all of them and now I am afraid I may have superglued the headphone jack in place. This needs to repaired because my phone is stuck on headphone mode so I can't hear music, alarms, calls, texts, etc. when they come in.
Where can I send my phone to be repaired? Should I do it by mail or take it to the Genius bar at apple? Also, what kind of insurance could cover it, and how much does it cost? Thanks

You can visit an Apple Store next to your place, but you might think about making an appointment before you visit to avoid long waiting times in front of the Genuis Bar.
You can also arrange the service by contacting Apple Support:

Supergluing the headphone jack is not covered by Apple's warranty, you might have to pay the service fee to get the phone replaced by another device.

Hi how are you i want to replace my iphone 4 with a new one. But i am in Darwin, there is no any apple stores. So where can i send my phone for replacement and how much for that?

Warranty and Support are only valid in the country of origin.  You will need to take the device to whatever country it originally came from.
Apple will not accept shipments from outside the country nor will they return it to an address outside the country.

  • Where can I send an ipod touch?

Where can I send a ipod touch, for it to get fixed? Anywhere besides apple store that I could absolutely trust. I don't want to send it in the mail either, because I don't want to get scammed. I guess I can go to an Apple store if I had to. But, my warrenty is up. Could they fix it, but would I have to pay more.
    Problem(s):
    - screen is cracked at bottom right corner going 1/4 of way up.
    - Music won't play out of headphones. I tried cleaning it and wiggling it, but nothing. It plays, but it only has either the words of the song, or the music of the song. (NOT the words) I could press down in front of it for a while to make it work, but it doesn't work that way anymore. (Thats how the screen cracked I think.)
So can any of you look it up, and find what price I'd be looking at without buying another ipod touch. If, it's to much I might as well buy another ipod, NOt a touch, and only have it for music.

Ummmm, yeah I don't want to send it anywhere, I want to be able to give it to somebody. And I do not want to drive a long way away just to do this either. I might end up just getting a new ipod, but not a touch. Because those suck with the headphone jack! Thanks for replying though.
I also cracked my screen even more, only a little bit though. :/ I am going to leave it at my house for a while, because I don't want to crack it anymore.

  • Where can I send my playbook for repairs in toronto?

    Hi there,
I tripped going up the stairs and my playbook got a big crack on the lower right corner of the back case. Where can I go to fix this? Is there a RIM authorized repair centre I can send or bring my playbopok to? I looked all over the support pages and can't find a reference to it! It does talk about the limited warranty and stuff, but that's it...
    Cheers

yeah, I've been there, but it's asking me to pay for the phone call since I don't have the complimentary support any more (my playbook is over 90 days "old"). This is ridiculous! such information should be already there since I'm already going to pay for the repair!

  • Where can I send a Nokia 1600b phone to be donated...

The problem with donating the phone it is hard locked to NET10, So it must be flashed.
Can I send to Nokia authorized Service center for donation for charity? The Nokia service center may be allowed to flash the phone if you are donating the cell phone to charity without violating Net10/tracfone agreement.
What is the nearest authorized center that will do this for free? I live in Indiana.
Otherwise, I just going to donate it to the senior center and they send it of to a shop that does somethings. Do not know if they can flash the phone.
Nokia, Ought to step up, instead of recycling (destroying the phone). They ought to have a place to send locked phone for donation to charity.

Don't know about your country but in the UK some (all maybe?) nokia care points accept phones for recycling. It doesn't matter if it's locked or not.
Care points/service centres and repair info:
    UK • Europe • Asia-Pacific • USA •
Canada • Middle East and Africa

  • Where can I send a formal complaint to Verizon executives about my service?

Here is the painful story if anyone is listening.
I had a landline and Internet a few years ago. I canceled the landline and kept the Internet line. I decided on 1/15/15 to add my landline back to my plan. I went online and updated my services to include a landline. The order was supposed to be completed on 1/20. On 1/20, my Internet goes down (it's 4 days later and it's still NOT BACK UP!!!). I have called Verizon no less than TWELVE times to try to figure out what happened and when it's going to be fixed. Guess what..not one person that I have talked to knows what is wrong or how to fix it. NOT ONE! No one has offered to dispatch a service tech despite me asking, even begging. So here we are on day four and I have no phone or Internet service. This is the most horrific experience I have ever had from any service provider my entire life. I am appalled that this big huge corporation cannot fix my problem. I'm sure I will receive my bill very soon and payment will be expected promptly and if I don't pay (even though I don't have any services), they will cutoff said services and send me to collections. I am disgusted and I want this to go to the very top. Stakeholders need to hear about this and be as appalled as I am.
I'm sure my rant will fall on deaf ears or get passed around to multiple agents that aren't competent enough to understand what is going on. If anyone knows where I can file a formal complaint (looking for an executive complaint department or something equal to that), please advise. Verizon keeps their contact information hidden in some buried treasure box I think.
I have zero faith that my services will be restored. I guess I will just have to continue to trek to Panera ever day so I can access the Internet? Does that seem agreeable Verizon?

  • Where can I send a complain to apple support? I am being ripped off by a tech support location in Mexico.

I purchased a Mac Book Air computer 2 months ago in a BEST BUY store in Guadalajara, Mexico.
I was working on my computer when it went off and the battery indicator stoped being on the top bar.
I took the computer to the store, and the people from the geek squad took a look at it, and told me that the problem was the battery, but that I should not worry because just 2 months had passed since I purchased the machine, so I should have the warranty from Apple, and I had also purchased the extended warranty from Best Buy, so I was covered.
The took my computer and gave me a receipt.
2 weeks or so after this I get a phone call from the repair shop to where they sent my machine. This are their infromation:
Making Touch Services, S.A. de C.V., Servicepro ( Suc. Guadalajara)
Niños Heroes 2828 Planta Alta · Jardines del Bosque · Guadalajara, Jalisco · C.P. 44520 Tels. (33) 1204 5114 y 1201 7906 · www.mtsmx.com · [email protected]
And they tell me that the computer had been "inmersed in liquid" and therefor my battery, "the flex" and some board had to be replaced, and since the computer had been "inmersed in liquid" (those were the exact words used) the warranty was void, as well as my extended warranty, so if I wanted my brand new computer working again, I have to pay them $4,216 mexican pesos.
The whole situation is ridiculous because the computer is new, I paid for an extra warranty to protect my equipment, and of course I did not "inmersed" my computer in any liquid. However the use of those words is very important to the case, because that "improper use of the equipment" allows them to claim a void warranty and charge me for a reppair of a new equipment!
I asked them for proof of what they were claiming, and they sent a picture of a "flex" on top of a table that had "watery salt stains caused by summersion"
When I Asked the to take a picture of my computer and send it to me, of coursed they did and of course there is no other component that shows any of the damage that appears in the flex.
I am outraged at the whole situation, and I am sure that this would have never happened in the USA. I have been working with apple computers for over 10 years, I currently own 6 apple computers, and this is the first time I am beeing ripped off like this.
How can I get a hold with someone at apple to review my case?
