Where do I call to get an acutal person to help me, like customer support?

I can't find one anywhere and if they just have a website that's sad!

They don't solve each thread, they mainly depend on regular posters like me and others to help people out. 90% of issues people have have already been solved by others.
I agree there support should be alittle better, but far as itunes goes, its free so they recieve no money what so ever on it. Most companies don't offer support or limited support for things there handing out free. Even microsoft charges you for most support now be it on the phone or email based.
Now for the ipods, yeah you pay for those they should offer chat for all ipods, but they don't I don't know what else to tell you there other than post a thread about your issue and get it fixed by me or another poster

    While running DS job through designer we are getting below error:

    Additional notes:
    1. Source and Target datastore are getting connected properly as i have imported table's definition using it.
    2. Source and target data store pointing to SQL server 2008 R2 express edition DB (64 bit).
    3. It seems like server machine has both 32bit and 64bit drivers installed on it. Please refer attached driverdetails.jpg file for more details.

  • I am having problems with an update.  I spoke with Prabhudev on 9/27.  He was unable to resolve my problem and referred me to call 800-833-6687.  When I call, I get an automated message that help is not available.  What now?

    My Mac tells me there is an update for Photoshop CS5, the Camera Raw 6.7 update.  It downloads, installs, then gives me an error message that the installation failed, error code U44M1P7, and advises contacting Customer Support.  I did so.  On 9/27 I chatted with Prabhudev.  He referred me to a link to download the update.  I did the download and tried to install.  I got an error message - "Error - “AdobePatchInstaller.app” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.“AdobePatchInstaller.app” is on the disk image “AdobeCameraRaw-6.7-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 12:54 PM from www.adobe.com"  He then said
    Prabhudev: Okay, In this case I suggest you to contact our technical support team on monday.

    That number gets me to a recording that tells me that phone support is not available.
    I can open and use Photoshop, but whenever I check for updates for my computer, this same update comes up, gets downloaded, and fails to install.  I want to either get rid of the update message or get the update installed.  Can anyone help?

    Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install.  I again got an error message
    that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

  • Getting help from Adobe Customer Support

    I am subscribed to Creative Cloud but despite numerous attempts to update my payment information using different browsers and devices it appears my payment is not getting processed. Now I am getting emails from Adobe that my subscription will be cancelled. Tr
    ied ringing customer support (in the US) from the UK only to hear that there's a 2 hour wait! Jeeze I'd need a very good lottery win to pay for that phone bill! Is there any other way to get help? This is really frustrating and potentially a disaster as I use the Creative Cloud to host several of my websites... I most certainly don't want to lose them! The problem seems to have coincided with Adobe Customer Accounts being hacked. Mine was one of these and it was for this reason I changed my card!

    Where can I go to get an answer? Because it looks like I'm not going to get one here. I've posted two messages already without so much as a single answer. maybe it's me... Now I love my Blackberry but I can no longer get it to synch with the two versions I have loaded, nor can I repair them or uninstall them. I've spent many nights searching through the forums and none of the solutions I read about seems to be working in my case and I do not know what else to do. Can anyone tell me where else I can go to get help?

  • Microsoft - Worst Customer Support ever! Where can I get a decent Microsoft customer support for Windows in the UK?

    I have just tried to created the ISO of the operating system I am using for last 5 years, Windows 7 Ultimate.  I remembered that on Microsoft website are quick links dedicated exactly for that purpose. However, when page loaded I've seen this:

    When I have clicked on the download link it took me to the webpage which seemed everything going for it.  3-step guide, including  the product code and language. Brilliant! I thought, until after filling all the details I have clicked on 'Next-Verify
    Product Key' than I faced a message:

    the request.
     When finished, a message pop up:  that the language provided is not compatible with the product key - try different language. Interesting, I am using this product last five years but is not compatible with English? I must have been a fairy then
    to be able to make it work for all these years. Then it got better.
    I have tried it again with a different message in the end:

    So I have contacted Microsoft.  Contacting Microsoft is an experience itself and half.
    Being Microsoft certified, I used the link provided for IT Pros. I click the link provided and the page started loading..... and still loading now....
    So I have decided to call the customer support as you would normally do with any other organisation. To actually get to the phone number, illogically placed, took me a few loops around MS website. Once called, I got to speak to very efficient lady on reception
    who kindly switched me to the Technical Support. That's going well, I thought.
    Once the connection has been made, I felt that MS technical support is based in submarine 3 miles under water in Japanese sea. All I could hear was the very familiar sound of water of modern Voice over IP connection dated back in 2003 and a male voice (but
    by the sound of it it might have been a whale) asking me my name. Unsurprisingly, the connection was interrupted several times when I tried to describe my issue I am having, and eventually I was disconnected. 
    Still not put off, I made another attempt to contact MS customer service. This time I have been talking to a woman, seemed a little bit closer, maybe Bristol waters? Still in the submarine but not so deep. Also here I was asked my name AND surname; then
    I have described my intentions and the difficulty I am having in succeeding it. The woman on the phone didn't get at all what I was saying. I had to literally spat out word by word what the problem is. (Luckily, I have many years of experience supporting IT
    users over 60 years of age so it didn't take so long to explain it to her.) My thought just was, oh my God, how can she help if she didn't even understand the issue. Then the phone went completely dead for 10 mins. When it came back to life, I could hear clear
    sound of fishing boat passing by until a voice, I assume the same woman, apologised for the delay. And now - the best is coming:
    1) I was informed that the website is being tested, under construction and that doesn't work properly.
    Comment: How can Microsoft, one of
    leading organisation in  technology, do testing of website 'live'? Quite clearly, that is BS.
    2) I was advised to obtain the ISO image from 3rd Party website!!!! On question if she can give me the link to any 3rd party website the answer was NO.
    Comment: Seriously, so here we are in 21st Century, dealing with almost the GOD in IT and the recommended solution is - to obtain help for the God's product from UNKNOWN 3rd Party. Brilliant! If this is the case, where Microsoft is exactly heading to???
    3) She cannot tell me when the issue of non-working website will be sorted and I should go and buy the copy of Windows; than I will be able to do the ISO.
    Comment: Well, that's what I call a professional advise from Microsoft representative. The fact that I do have the physical copy was totally ignored, the fact that I have been running the system for several years have been totally ignored the whole point
    of this exercise (to cut down the time making ISO using Microsoft website) was totally ignored. 
    When I started asking questions to clarify what has been said I have been continuously interrupted. 
    To my question whether MS customer service representative have been trained to interrupt customers I have been told that I am talking over her. I asked her name, which she told me but I didn't catch and therefore I have asked if she could spell it. On that
    point she hung up.
    Well done Microsoft! And now I want to know just one reason why I should buy your products when the support, in case of problems, is not existent.
    Does anyone know where I can get a decent customer service that can resolve my issue better than smudge it ?

    Just having the same issue there, which is real not fun, I have not tried to contact them, but looking at  your experience I am not sure if I should.
    My key comes from the back of a laptop o so I guess that would be a W7
    OEM, and that could explain why you can't download a ISO from their website, would that also your case ?
    Also could it be because we are attempting to get the ISO after the product became EOL ?

  • Where am I supposed to get help? 3 months dealing with tech support is NOT working

    I have been dealing with an ongoing connection issue for 3 months now and I'm at my wits end with trying to get help. I'm have the same problems others seem to be having here my internet keeps cutting out for a min or two and coming straight back on sometimes it works fine for a week sometimes I can't get online all day. I have spent countless hours on the phone with Verizon over these past three months being transferred from place to place, being hung up on and told multiple times they would "call me back"
    I've had three techs come to my house (money out of my paycheck taking off work) and each said the issue isn't at my home, I even spoke with a gentleman at the local dispatch center and he told me the same thing, he also told me when I had a 4th tech scheduled to come "sending another tech won't help we already know the issues isn't at your home so all a tech will do is come check the connection and if its working at that moment close the ticket out"
    Each and every time I call I get the exact same process, first they want to send a tech, then I explain that's not going to help, then I spend 15 min trying to get their "supervisor" on the line, each time I'm told "the ticket has been escalated and will be looked into expect a call back in 24-48 hours" each time I either don't get a call or they call and say its fixed just to have issues return a few days later.
    I've even managed to get a number to a supposed "supervisor" area that needs a pin number to get thorough, yet even when I call that number I'm dealing with being told they need to send another tech and being told I will get call backs.
    I've been told them replacing the modem fixed it, then told them fixing something at the end of my street fixed it, been told they switched me to another server or something Because mine was congested and that fixed it, was told they found another issue and that fixed it..None of these actually did fix it though..SO I've been down right LIED to by Verizon many many times already over this ordeal over the multiple false fixes and the numerous call backs I never got.
    No customer should have to spend 20+ hours on the phone (with each call being atleast 1+ hour most of it being on hold) to get a service they are paying for fixed so PLEASE who on earth do I contact to get this actually FIXED???? Because Each time I try to get somebody who is actually a real manager or something on the phone they are NEVER available and each time I ask to speak to somebody who is actually in MY COUNTRY let alone my state I get told its "not possible"
    Where I live don't have too many internet options and I'ma bout to have to move to a SLOWER service all Because Verizon has screwed me over for 3 months and refuses to fix a service I have paid for for YEARS.
    SO please if any verizon employee sees this or anybody else who knows who/what I need to to please I beg you tell me lol I'm tired of being toyed around...

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases".  You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information.  This should be checked on a frequent basis  as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

  • Call a getter

    Hi I've looked through the threads but can't find an answer to my question:
    1. How to i call a setter method when i press a button on an ADF form to set one of the text item values in the class variable?
    2. How do i get this value to output on the new ADF form?
    I have the getters and setters but i just don't know how to call them from within the code, any help please?

    Are you talking about a Swing UI or JSF UI?
    Where is the getter you want to call? Is it in a backing/managed bean or in your business services (model) layer
    Generally speaking, when you double click on a button, jdeveloper will create a method and class for you. Assuming your "class" is visible you can all that get/set method.
    If you want to call a method on your (e.g. in ADF BC) application module, you have to expose that to the client.

    Most WI-Fi loss of connect can be traced to initialization problems. Unplug the wi-fi power lead for 30 secs. Then re-connect power. Be sure to re-boot the computer after re-connecting wi-fi power.

    Those are not test calls but real calls made by our costumers.
    The costumers dial the toll free number and the Internet service provider or SIP provider sends the call to our Lync pools. The call is cancelled a few seconds after it is initiated, sometimes 6 seconds, sometimes 9 seconds, sometimes 20 seconds or longer.
    We called the costumers and made sure that it was not the costumer who hung up the call.
    And we are also sure that an IP address outside our Lync pool sends the CANCEL request. Our system has been working well for a long time but the resent few months this kind of error happens almost everyday in the morning. When the error happens, some
    of the calls cannot get connected and some of the calls are good, but the load of the Lync pool, UCMA app pool is not heavy. A few minutes later, everything becomes normal, no error happens.
    How should we do the trouble shooting? Where should we focus on?  The SIP provider or Lync pool?
