I am trying to change the position of a new address on the opening screen. The suggested solution gives directions to a Manual Sort Folder that I can't find.

I have already seen some suggested solutions to the problem of this extremely annoying Yahoo DNS error solutions page, but they involve going to the add-ons page of firefox and disabling various add-ons. The issue is that even when I try to go to the add-ons page I get immediately redirected to the Yahoo DNS solutions page again.
I have cleared my browser history and cache, hoping it would help, but nothing. Extremely annoying as I never installed anything - it simply started after a Firefox upgrade.
Any help much appreciated.

When I go to Tools, add-ons, I get the "What are add-ons?" and it tells me that when I connect to the internet the panel will feature many options.

There have been a number of issues with server problems over the last few days. Try to go to that Mozilla page again. The issues have been intermittent and could return at any time until a final resolution is found. This forum page has also been affected by the problem(s).

Firefox keeps opening the Add-ons page

Whenever I launch Firefox or open a new tab, the add-ons page opens. This has been happening since I updated to Firefox 4 a few days ago. I've tried disabling all the add-ons I have but it makes no difference. I've also turned off updates for add-ons, that didn't help either.
I'm running Windows XP.

It's possible that the page is included in the home page setting.

When I update to the latest version I cannot access the add-ons page or request help because neither page will load. My Weather channel add-on was NOT piced up when updating to the latest version. Why problems with improved latest version?

I have twice downloaded the latest version in the last month. Each time I encountered the same problems. the Weather Channel add-on I have did NOT appear in the latest version. When I open a web page from Bookmarks it is painfully slow to load.

The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.

Click on something below the Get Add-ons menu item on the left side of the Add-ons Manager tab.

When i open the add ons page in firefox the pages do not display correctly the pages only show text and are in lists

. FF Ver 4 is very slow and does perform as well as 3.6. I uninstalled 4 after downloading ver 3.6.16 and that is causing colorfultabs not to color and the Add-ons page is freezing making it unable to use it. Ver 4 runs very slow. Please help.

It seems my machine does not like your ver4 and 3.6.16. I want the ver prior to 3.6.16. . Since the last 2 updates have not been able to use FF to browse or play Webkinz. It is way too slow. Following the install of 3.6.16 the Colorfultabs is not working and I can't fix it or adjust it because the Add-ons list/page freezes. I have removed/disabled several add-ons and extensions and nothing seems to help. If it were not for IE I would not be able to use my machine. I have 2.5 GB of memory and 30 percent plus of free space on my hard drive. I use Windows XP SP3 if that makes a difference. I don't think I need a lot of add-ons but need to know what I can remove. The feature to open FF without any add-ons is gone for some reason. Please give me back my simple smooth operating FF. Thank you.

I had all the dot nets in add/remove but discovered they were not installed. Got all up to date. Puter is 2005, I have all that U listed except Win7. I just don't know if I need that or not. Did U say that I need more than the 2.5 GB

FF is running much better now but Webkinz accounts are still loading slower than in IE. I am wondering if maybe I should totally remove all of FF including customizations and personal info and start over fresh with a clean install of ver 4. I am still using ver 3.6.16. Is it possible that this is reason for Webkinz (a flash, java and Unity game) not loading good? Also, are there some of the Plug-ins that I can remove? What Audio players do I need? Under Site Contents - Where is the add a Page or Web Part Page option.

It seems the only way to add a page to a site is to create a document library first.

Where is the SitePages Document Library.
Up next to SkyDrive I click Sites. I select "My Child Site" It is a brand new site. Under the Cog there is Shared With, Edit Page, Add an app, view site contents and getting started. On the left I have Home, Site contents. If I go into Site contents I have
the option of Lists, Libraries and other Apps or the option to create a new subsite.
Just to be sure I clicked Create a new Subsite". Once it is up I still don't have an option to create a page. And under the Cog I have the same settings as before.
It seems like I have to create a document library app, create a page in the library, Add the app as a web part to the home page and then have a lot of clutter from the document library app. e.g. +new document or drag files here, current view... As opposed to
a list of links to the pages.
It seems like a site should also be a document library or list to begin with.
I could swear in 2010 when you were in a new site you could could click create a page from the home page.

Hi, i have downloaded firefox 7. I was informed that there was an add on called SEO for firefox. However after searching the add ons i can't find it. can someone tell me where it is please ?

or if it has been updated and called something new, what that is please ? I tried to add on SEOquake thinking that might be it but after installing it, i can't seem to get it to work. Also it looks nothing like the form settings SEO for firefox had, and in the description it said it was an extension so i don't know if it incorporates the original material, and so i don't know if it is the right one. Can someone help me please ?

Need flash downloader, have tried all the add ons I can find and none of the work.. .please advise?

I have downloaded most of the addons/extensions that say they will download flash. I have double checked my adobe flash plugin, downloaded any video converter, and real time player and I still can not download a flash movie from the web. It is NOT on you tube or any other video site. When I right click on the ad it says it is a flash movie.

This is the first thing I did and I already have flash but now what I want to do is download the flash movies from obscure sites to access later, put on ipod, cell, etc...these are NOT YOU TUBE VIDEOS OR VIMEO OR any of the more common which download easily. Have Photoshop, real time player and quick time player (free versions) and none of those seem able to do it either. Also downloaded several video converters but they don't help me gain access to the flash movie online. Plus many addons/extensions for firefox and those don't work either

Where do I find the themes that I downloaded. They are not listed in the Add-ons page anymore.

Windows Media Player plugin was working fine before updating to 4 and now i've tried every single advice found in here and still can get it to work even though it is enabled on the add-ons page. Any new trick to try?
