Which server's datasource connection is configured in DirectJTDataSource_management.properties file ?

Hi,
I am new to ATG CSC and when i installed CSC, 3 server instances were created for Production, Publishing and Agent servers.
The ATG installation contains a DirectJTDataSource_management.properties file containing a JNDIName property with a default value (JNDIName=ATGMysqlDS).
To which server's datasource should the DirectJTDataSource_management.properties point to (Production, Publishing or Agent) ?

It points to publishing schema.

  • Since I updated to the latest version, I keep getting a message that the server can't connect with urls containing the word "file" . I just want the messages to stop. It's working just fine otherwise.

See above. Message comes up every hour or so. Three times in a row.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the Sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut Off. To power up hold the Sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time (for about 10-15 seconds) until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider), then let go of the buttons.
If the proble is associated with not being connected via wireless, look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections  http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
    Additional things to try.
Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.

  • SQL that shows which client process is connected to which server process

    Hi,
I am running database on Linux.
I have many oraclePROD processes (up to 100). These are dedicated server processes, which are opened by several client processes.
I want to know which server process is connected to which client process. I see that v$session gives the session# and client process, but does not give information about the related dedicated server process.
Is there any v$ view that gives this information?
    Thank you.

    2. How can we configure log4j in weblogic?
    Please reply me.
    Regards,

You can add your.properties and log4j.properties to the classpath cant you?
You just need to edit setEnv.cmd (if i remember correctly) in your weblogic server folder to add the folder containing the properties files to the classpath variable.

  • Log4j Logger - properties file configuration

    Hi
This is regarding Apache Log4j logger and the configuration of Log4j.properties file.
Suppose if I have set the properties file to log the messages in a database. It works fine.
However, lets say for some reason the database is not accessible for some time.
Is there a way to configure a "backup" feature in log4j.properties file that basically says that if database is not accessible then log to a temporary file somewhere, may be a text file on the user's system using the RollingFileAppender.

    Hi,
you can all in the Application class:
Application.class.getResource( "log4j.properties" ) if its in the Application class package
    Quote:
    URL java.lang.Class.getResource(String name)
Finds a resource with a given name. The rules for searching resources associated with a given class are implemented by the defining class loader of the class. This method delegates to this object's class loader. If this object was loaded by the bootstrap class loader, the method delegates to ClassLoader.getSystemResource.
Before delegation, an absolute resource name is constructed from the given resource name using this algorithm:
If the name begins with a '/' ('\u002f'), then the absolute name of the resource is the portion of the name following the '/'.
Otherwise, the absolute name is of the following form:
    modified_package_name/name
Where the modified_package_name is the package name of this object with '/' substituted for '.' ('\u002e').
    Parameters:
name name of the desired resource
    Returns:
A java.net.URL object or null if no resource with this name is found
    Since:
    JDK1.1

in which server v have to do ale configuration (production or development)..
kindly give me some clear idea about that
    thanks
    bhanu

    Hi
First you have to develop the complete scenario in DEVelopment server and to check that it is working fine.
So you create a request for the same in DEV server.
You never develop/configure anything in production
all the things that are configured/developed will be moved to Production using the transport requests transportation only

  • Which server is connected to a switch interface

    Hi all,
We have a few switches in our company and we wanted to know an easy and quick way to find out which servers are connected to that switch (even if possible on which interface).
    For example:
    Firewall ->      Switch1 interface Gig 0/1
    Mail or 10.10.10.10 ->             Switch2 interface Gig 0/3
I'm using at this moment the following command:
    show cdp neighbors
It gives me all cisco device connected to that switch.
Is there an other command that does the same? Displaying the DNS or IP of a server that is connected to that interface of the switch.
    Kind Regards

    Hi,
    a) there are some free tools available to track the end devices.
SolarWinds User Device Tracker might be an example (not tested personally).
    b) If you want to run a CLI command, you usually need to take an opposite way: find out the device IP or MAC address and track to which switch port it's connected.
So you can list the FW ARP cache in your case.
And then to use  "trace mac ip ..." switch CLI command, e.g.
