Which time during my billing cycle should I change my plan

I'm currently on a 15 GB shared plan and I've gone over by 4GB this month. My cycle ends today, August 4th. Should I upgrade to the 20GB plan today or wait until tomorrow which would be the first day of my new billing cycle? I'm just trying to avoid additional charges because of switching at the wrong time.

Change it today and backdate it to the beginning of the current cycle! When you choose the new plan, it will default to today's date, but you will see a link "change this date". If you use today's default date, it will only prorate the change and one day at the new rate won't really help you. By backdating it, you'll save considerable money. The 4 gb overage charge is $60. The rate for the 20 gb plan is only an additional $20, saving you $40.Then tomorrow, you can go back in and change your plan back to 15 GB for the new cycle, if that works for you.

  • FIX: Change your Billing Cycle and Due Date!

There are many people angry about the change in billing due dates that have been set by AT&T recently.  There is a way to get your due date back to where you want it but does require a little work on your part. NOTE: I am not an AT&T Employee, this is just advice from someone doing a little research! How the change works:First you will need to contact AT&T customer support (as this is just a customer to customer support forum so nobody here can make changes to your account). Let them know you want to change your billing cycle and due date. First month - you must complete your current billing cycleSecond month - you will have a prorated "short" cycle anywhere from 0-29 daysThird month - you will start with the billing cycle on the new date you select. There are a couple of other requirements below just so you are completely informed when talking to AT&T support.
    Billing Cycle Change Requirements:
Changing your billing cycle is NOT an option in all service areas so contact support at 800-331-0500 to find out if this option is available in your service area.
Your billing cycle cannot be changed during the five days before or after the close of your current cycle. Your billing cycle cannot be changed if your account is in a delinquent status, or if the account will fall delinquent before the requested change date. If you have a payment arrangement set up, the payment arrangement must be made before the billing cycle is changed. If you have Autopay, you may see two Autopay drafts in one month due to the billing cycle change. Please keep in mind that when a billing cycle is changed you will see prorated charges to get all of the billing back on track with the new dates. Understanding that this does create an inconvenience for many people for the first 2 months you will be where you need to be after and back on track.  If anyone has anything to add please do so and I will update my post.

    Hi there
This is a great guide that will be very helpful to any of our customers who wish to change their bill cycle dates! I’d just like to thank you for posting this and add some further expectations.
The balance on the prorated second invoice shows as Past Due on the customer's third invoice, even if it is not. The cycle change process does not impact their account status and corrects itself on subsequent bills. With regards to prorated charges, the customer is provided a video bill with their next statement to help explain the charges.
    Thanks!

  • Labour activity change all activities value should be change

    HI PP  Guru,
i getting problem in activities type. i have 6 activities type in on work center. our client requirement is  when he will do the confirmation. he will change the value of labour activity.and same time other 5 activities  value should be change according to labour value change
    i have define  formula
1st i have taken  value from operation qty in labour
formula for labour  : labour qty * operation qty / base qty
and other formula for 5 activities
    X * labour qty / base qty...........where X is activities type
kindly suggest me woh  it will be effect  others activities  value when labour value  qty change at the time of confirmation
    regards
    Aqueel

    Dear ,
Did you assing any Activity Type in Work Centre -Costing tab ?? What is SAP Standard Vaule are you using in CR02-Work centre ?? Do you have only labour activity  which can be the only Standard Value key ??
Your labour activity values can change based on actual work  but you can not change the Activity type at Confiramtion level .Activity Type can be control either from Work Centre or you can choose at routing operation if they are not assinged in Work centre .
I think you have total six activity type ( as per KP26)  for same work centre and it depends on the Labour activity .It means , you will not use any pre-determined activity type in costing Tab -CR02 -Work centre  but have six formula key  .
As far as I know , you have the option  at routing level to choose the Acitvity type in CA02-Hit on operation details -Double Click -Stabdard Value Tab -Choose the Activity Type  but   all this activity type should be under same Cost elements and Cost centre based on the KP26  ( Allocation of cost element ) .
In our case , we have only labour activity based on skill .So we have group of skilled labour with certain activity type /Formula key   and they are identifed as one Work Center .Like wise we have a set of 7 kind of skilled labout group and they are individaul work centre .We do not assing any activity type in work centre .Either we slecet/change  at routing level  and then carry Read PP master data before GMPS , CNF of order .This is basically  based various activity type .
But in your case , is it Labour hrs getting changes than actual plan ??
Just explain your Work centre  , Standard Values and Activity Type  so that forum can also put their comments.

  • IPhone 5 suddenly using an excessive amount of data and my phone usage has not changed so why am i going over data 3 times this billing cycle?

My iphone 5 has been hogging data like crazy the past two months. I have not used my phone anymore than I normally do, in fact I would say I use it less often than normal. I have gone over the family share data limit of 15GB three times this billing cycle. The first time i had 121500 MB of data used. I thought it was rhapsody that was causing all of the data usage but my sister uses rhapsody on her iphone 5c and she hasnt gone over at all! So its not that. I decided I would turn OFF all cellular usage on apps like facebook, instagram, rhapsody, twitter, even MAIL! I am basically not able to use my phone outside of my house now which is NOT okay! I took screen shots of the cellular usage and at one point after I had completely shut off celluar data on all apps, i checked my cellular usage and DNS services, Mapping services, Data and syncing all had racked up data! I hadnt used any of those services! I also turned off all location settings and maps and siri! phone is still using data like crazy!
I saw in recent posts about this issue that Apple replaced peoples iphones because it was a bug in the phones software that was causing the data to go haywire! I have an upgrade but I dont want to use it if I dont have to! I also dont want to get another iphone 5 if this problem is happening with iphone 5's. I have not seen very many complaints about iphone 5c  so that might be the route I go.
I also restored my iphone last night cause I saw a discussion which said to try that. So far it is still using data and im on wifi!
Any suggestions as to what to do now?

  • Why do I have to pay for a charge that I should not of been charged then wait for the credit in two to three billing cycles? If I don't pay it I get charged $5 a month late charge?

So I spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with Verizon about charges on my wireless bill. The conclusion of it was: Pay the charge and we will credit the charge or it will show as a balance due with a $5.00 late fee every month. I got two phones on a promotion in November. Part of the promotion was no activation fee. Got my first bill and a $70.00 activation fee was on it. On line chatted with Verizon and they said it would be credited in two to three billing cycles. I paid my bill minus the activation fee. This month I have a $5.00 late fee and a $35.00 restocking fee because they messed up and sent three phones and I returned one. It was not activated. They might credit me that money back. What is going on?????

I am so very sorry for any aggravation you've experienced getting your billing straightened out, Nunu1957. It's true that it can take 1 to 2 billing cycles for some account balance adjustments to appear on a statement. While I know you'd rather not have paid your activation fees, the terms of your agreement do require you to do so in order to avoid late fees or even involuntary service interruptions.
I am concerns about the restock fee. If the device was sent to you in error, you should not have been billed a restock fee. You stated that there may be a refund for the fee. Has that been confirmed?

You will need to update the address and country that you have on your account, and if using a credit card then that will need to be registered to that new address - you should be able to update them logging into your account via Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes

  • Am I able to tag a data point of a spreadsheet that is being created by a datalogging VI such that at the end I have the data with multiple tags which corelate to events during a measurement cycle

Am I able to tag a data point of a spreadsheet that is being created by a datalogging VI such that at the end I have the data with multiple tags which corelate to events during a measurement cycle
My final need is to take data from a datalogging VI and store it in a spreadsheet with tags that corespond to events in a subVI which is controlling motor movement. This will allow users to view all data and mark the relevent data for analysis. As usual, user want everthing but with conditions.

Sure. What you do is take the numeric value acquired, the tags you want, and build them into an array. So now, when you write to the spreadsheet, you'll have a 2D array. One thing you have to keep in mind is that all elements of an array have to be of the same type. So if your tags are strings, you'll have to convert your numeric data into strings as well.

  • Redetermine the exchange rates during the billing.

    Hi
I would like to redetermine the exchange rates during the billing.
When we are creating a sales order we are maintaining exchange rate in sales order header, but in case of any change in rates
I have to change it in sales orders first and then i have to create an invoice. Instead of doing this i would like the exchange rates
to be redetermined during billing automatically.
    Please help
    Suresh

    Hi,
Firstly let us know If you want to redetermine the pricing exchange rate or the exchange rate to accounting? I imagine that the pricing exchange rate you are talking about ,the pricing exchange rate type should definetely work no matter  what the  pricing source is . Normal sales cycle always has the price source as order, which controls from where and in what sequence the conditions from the reference documents are copied to the billing document. It does not control the exchange rate. Check the billing date in your sales order(its always advisable to take the service rendered date as the base to calculate the exhcange rate which is PGI date when a delivery is involved) , not the actual billed date. If you want the system to determine the exhcange rate on the date when the Invoice has been raised(Different from the billing date in the sales order) then go for the option of "E" which will take the service rendered date.
But If you want the exchange rate for accounting then you have to append a routine at the item level in "VTFL" .The Logic would be to read the exchange rate from TCURR table using the function module "READ_EXCHANGE_RATE. If you have specified the exchage rate in the header(Accouting tab) of the sales order this gets copied to the billing document This is SAP standard behaviour. To over write this you have to go for the routine ammendment as suggested above.(In case of billing dates and the exchange rates differ). Kindly please let me know If you need any more help on this.

  • 3 billing cycles over still haven't got port in credit

I ported in my number from ATT in Nov 2014 during the 150$ credit port in offer. It has been 3 billing cycles and so far i haven't received the credit. I called in 4 days ago and i was promised by customer service rep (5th person to talk on that day) on the phone that it is being applied to my account on that day... 4 days later nothing changed called in again today and i was told they have no record of anyone applying any credit to my account and they have to submit a form to see why the credit hasn't shown up on my account even though everything is good on my account for which i need to wait another 7-14 days to get an answer. Is Verizon ever going to give the credit or going keep giving me a run around and keep saying wait another week or 2 every time i call in?

all the best Spalding1028 . I don't think they are going to give the credit that easily. They keep saying the billing system is the one does the credit and they cannot do anything to fix it. I called again today i was told wait for another billing cycle so each CSR have their own version of what is going on (basically noone seems to have a clue). My friends warned me about Verizon's tactics they are just proving it right. Almost 48 hrs since i asked the question nobody Verizon has responded.

  • Can't disconnect until billing cycle??

My contract was over on march 4th. I want to disconnect my mifi. I was told that i had 2 choices. I can "disconnect" (suspend) the mifi acct until the billing cycle, and then i can fully disconnect it but I will still be charged for it or i can keep it going until the billing cycle. Either way, I can NOT disconnect my 2nd line until my billing cycle is up (on the 16th) even though my contract is up. How is that even legal???  Is there a way around that nonsense??

It's legal because you agreed to it. It is in the customer agreement.
"WHAT HAPPENS IF MY POSTPAY SERVICE IS CANCELED BEFORE THE END OF MY CONTRACT TERM?
If you're signing up for Postpay Service, you're agreeing to subscribe to a line of Service either on a month–to–month basis or for a minimum contract term, as shown on your receipt or order confirmation.  (If your Service is suspended without billing, that time doesn't count toward completing your contract term.) Once you've completed your contract term, you'll automatically become a customer on a month–to–month basis for that line of Service. If you cancel a line of Service, or if we cancel it for good cause, during its contract term, you'll have to pay an early termination fee.  If your contract term results from your purchase of an advanced device, your early termination fee will be $350 minus $10 for each full month of your contract term that you complete.  Otherwise, your early termination fee will be $175 minus $5 for each full month of your contract term that you complete.  Cancellations will become effective on the last day of that month's billing cycle, and you are responsible for all charges incurred until then.  Also, if you bought your wireless device from an authorized agent or third–party vendor, you should check whether they charge a separate termination fee."
Maybe you should read the agreement you sign
Since you didn't read it, it could have said you owe Verizon a pony if you cancel and you would have never known
    Good Luck

Probably should've searched around a bit more. Just saw a similar forum post to my own in which redownloading and burning solved another user's similar issue. As of now I've redownloaded the 64-bit ISO, burned it, and so far so good (at 72% extracting files). I will repost here if it was a success in hopes that other users with a similar issue find this and benefit from it. Hope I didn't just waste anyone's time with a question that had already been answered (haha)

  • I'm trying to install the new version, but each time during the installation, "Error writing to file: C:/Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Apple/Mobile Device/Support/AppleMobileDeviceHelper.resources/Info.plist." Keeps popping up. What am I doing wrong?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Statement of Last Billing Cycle's Calling/Texting Details?

How can I just get a report of last month's (last billing cycle's) usage details for calls and text messages ~ just looking for basics like phone numbers, dates, times for texting and calling.  I can't seem to access that online now?
    Thank you.

If your billing cycle had just ended, it may not be available just yet while they generate the bill.
Log in, and on the home screen, click on View Bill - you should see a summary, with links for details. If you don't, then my questions would be - Is this a family share plan? And are you the primary line/account holder?

  • I want to know how many minutes were used last billing cycle for calling

my daughter has been calling out of state a lot recently.  i want to know previous statement minutes and it also mentioned that out of area calls may not show up on bill right away. so how many minutes has she actually used this billing cycle?

If you are the account owner, you can go online and view the usage for each line on your account.  For calls, you can go back 12 months and see the history.
If she made the calls from your home area, then there should be no delay in them showing up on the bill. The delay comes if the phone is out of the home area and roaming; sometimes the information from the roaming towers takes more time to reach Verizon  computers.  Your question wasn't clear if she was simply calling an out of state number, or if she was out of state and making calls.

  • 2 hours left in billing cycle and I am charged $15 for overage data of 0.01 gigs.

    Hello,
I find it impossible to understand how a company can charge an extra $15 for another gig of data when I hit my data usage with less than 2 hours left in my billing cycle. On multiple occasions I have been told that the information online about data usage is not 100% accurate so I feel as though there should be some leeway in these charges.
Additionally, the $15 I paid gets me literally nothing since my billing cycle will be over in less than 3 hours and that data does not roll over. You are taking my money and giving me nothing.
I can not wait to leave your service in a year and move over to a company that has realistic policies. I've been a customer since before 2002 and I'm done with the terrible policies.
I've never been so unsatisfied with a service provider.

Does your bank offer you leeway if you spend more money (write checks) than you have in your checking account?  THey charge you an overdraft fee, and in most cases, they also return the check that put you over your balance without paying it.  AT&T can not take the data back once you've used it, so they charge you a fee and you get to continue to use data.  The alrenative would be for every time you wanted to use data for every tower to check back to the billing system to see if you have enough available data.  This would slow down every internet transaction you tried to perform, but it would allow the usage meter to be much more accurate.  There are more people who are willing to accept the overage fees than there are willing to accept the slower service just to prevent an occassional overage fee.  If you are constantly going over your data plan, perhaps you are not on an appropriate data plan for your usage and should consider getting a larger data plan.
