Which Tortoise SVN plug IN to use?

Hi,
I am using "Visual source safe control" since many year as a source code
control. Now, my company switch to SVN server for source code control.
I would like to know if you could suggest me a plug in that will be compatible
for tortoise svn and Labview.
I would like to have the same feature that I had with Visual Source Safe:
- see that a another personn have reserved a VI in labview
- checkin in/ out direcly in labview
I look at JKI but it did not seem to offer theses features.
Does pusk ok or another software provide the same feature than Visual Source
safe?
Can you help me ?

SVN works quite well. Here are instructions for configuring LabVIEW to use SVN. We have been using it for years. I also installed the Tortoise SVN on my computer so it works with the Windows File Explorer also.
I recommend that you make sure you separate the compiled code from the source code. It makes life much easier from a source code control perspective when working with LabVIEW.

Extremely slow performance on projects under version control using RoboHelp 11, PushOk, Tortoise SVN repository

We are also experiencing extremely slow performance for RoboHelp projects under version control. We are using RoboHelp 11, PushOk and a Tortoise SVN repository on a Linux server. We are using a Linux server on our IT guys advice because we found SVN version control under Windows was unstable.
When placing a Robohelp project under version control, and yes the project is on my local machine, it can take up to two hours to complete. We are using the RoboHelp sample projects to test.
We have tried to put the project under version control from Robohelp, and also tried first putting the project under version control from Tortoise SVN, and then trying to open the project from version control in Robohelp. In both cases, the project takes a ridiculous amount of time to open. The Robohelp status bar displays Querying Version Control Status for about an hour before it starts to download from the repository, which then takes more than an hour to complete. In many cases Robohelp becomes unresponsive and we have to start the whole process again.
If adding the project to source control completes successfully, and the the project is opened from version control, performing any function also takes a very long time, such as creating a topic. When I generated a printed documentation layout it took an astonishing 218 minutes and 17 seconds to complete. Interestingly, when I generated the printed documentation layout again, it took 1 min and 34 seconds. However when I closed the project, opened from version control, and tried to generate a printed documentation layout, it again took several hours to complete. The IT guys are at a loss, and say it is not a network issue and I am starting to agree that this is a RoboHelp issue.
I see there are a few other discussions here related to this kind of poor performance, none of which seem to been answered satisfactorily. For example:

Does anybody have any ideas on what we can do or what we can investigate? I know that there are options for version control, but am reluctant to pursue them until I am satisfied that our current issues cannot be resolved.

Do other applications work fine with the source control repository? The reason I'm asking is because you must first rule out that there are external factors causing this behaviour. It seems that your it guys have already looked at it, but it's better to be safe than sorry.
I have used both VSS and TFS and I haven't encountered such a performance issue. I would suggest filing it as a bug if you rule out that the problem is not related to external influences: https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform&loc=en

Which jar file(s) from the Eclipse plug-in to use

Hi,I downloaded JRC plug-in and realized there are 47 jar files for CR. Now I'm wondering how many of these 47 files are being use when running CR from Java? My Java application resides on a server and users access the application thru web start. If users have to download all 47 jar files every time they run the application, it would su*k for them very much. Best practice to use Tortoise SVN with LV

Can anyone recommend what is the best practice to use and structure the project using TSVN with LV? I have seen the jki tool and have also read about some issues of linkage when using TSVN with LV as posted on the forum here. I suppose these linkage issues still exists? Other than perforce is there any suggestion on source control that integrates well with LV?

We use Tortoise SVN with LV and it works very good. It's not integrated in that i cannot from within LV check in and out stuff, i have to do that in the Explorer. That's not a problem to me.
SVN is a very good source and version control regardless.
One small issue with external handling is if you want to change an already used and active filename. In LV you can save to another filename and references will update, but ofcourse SVN doesn't pick up on that automagically. There are two solutions to this:
1. When you check in, you'll get 1 added and 1 deleted file, select both, r-click and "Repair move".
2. After changing the filename in LV, change it back in explorer and r-click the file for a SVN rename and rename it to the new name.

Firewire, USB and the recent thunderbolt use completely different protocols, therefore there are no adapters for mutually adapting them, just a computer, which allows connecting them, and will work as an interface. For example, if you have an external disk in an enclosure with only FW connection and another one with USB connection, just your mac, having both, allows their interconnectivity.
If your mac does not have FW (the brief alu MB series, Air) you cannot connect a FW device, if only FW port is there.

I have a problem with flash builder and tortoise SVN. When i export a release version and then use tortoise to commit the changes, the content of folder bin-release is commited into html-template.
Is there a fix for that or am i the only one who has this problem ?

Data Mangement expects unique values for id property.This issue may occur when you select 'Identity' property in Data Mangement wizard which is not unique in the Table.For eg:, you have selected 'name' field as identity property. And your MySQL database table has multiple rows with identical values for 'name' column.
Can you verify if you have similar setup?

Revision number extraction from tortoise SVN

I am using TORTOISE SVN(version 1.8.8)
I am explaining below clearly about my expectation...
For example:Current revision numbers of FILE1-1184, FILE2-1184 and FILE3-1184..
after sometime we will modify some files and recommitt and get revision numbers like FILE1-1191, FILE2-1192, FILE3-1184.
There may be chance of adding new file also naming as FILE4:1192..
I just want to extract the name of the files here (FILE1, FILE2, FILE3 and FILE4)and their latest revision numbers(1192,1192,1184 AND 1192) from SVN to excel or word document.
Is there any method to copy this revision numbers and file names automatically into anyother format like word document, .xls or .txt ?

Tortoise svn help please

Hi All,
I have been using Tortoise SVN for a project on my personal computer as I do not have acces to a network drive from where I am working. Another developer has joined so I decided it would be best to create a branch on my local computer for his development work. The branch was then copied across to his computer via USB HDD. He has made changes and then I copy back in his changes into his branch folder on my local computer. This overwrites all the files in the branch and I then commit them using the SVN commit command. This I believe is working fairly well although I am now struggling to get the branch back into the trunk. As can be seen from the version history we have both been making changes in parallel. How do I get our two working copies merged and synced and back into the trunk?
I think I must be missing something as when I merge from my working copy to his or from his to mine the merge doesnt seem to work correctly (Missing changes from one developer or the other)
Can someone please point me in the right direction.

I've recently done this with LabVIEW, and it was quite a struggle! At various times over the past 4-5 years, I've made branches, and often within a week or two, I realize what a terrible mistake it was, and kill the branch. Yet I still do it ...
I use the "Brute Force" method of merging. I start with two Working Copies -- a Trunk WC (checked out from the Trunk) and a Branch WC. In the Best of All Possible Worlds, there will be some either new VIs in the Branch that you want in the Trunk, or "fixed" VIs that have been modified in the Branch that you want in the Trunk. Simply copy them from Branch WC into Trunk WC. [Note -- I'm assuming that both Trunk and Branch WCs use a LabVIEW Project to organize all of the VIs].
Before opening the Trunk WC VIs (and Project), delete the Branch WC (so that the VIs that you moved from Branch to Trunk will be "forced" to forge new links in their new location). Open the Project, resolve all conflicts (could be tedious, but straight-forward), then commit your Trunk Working Copy, and tell yourself "Never Do a Branch Again!".

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...

Hello, I was wondering which tv out chip MSI is using for their "Ti4200-VTD8X MS-8894" card and other 4200 cards. if you have one of these cards could u please check for me.
Its easy with the current nvidia drivers.

It will then tell you, eg. my xfx card uses" Tv Codec Type: Phillips 7108 "
I'm wondering which card has the best tv output, cause im building my brother a computer.

I think that Philips 7114 is right in your situation for TVin and GF4MX internal Encoder for TVout
What version of Detonator driver you use ? Could you try newest Detonator 41.03 for Tv Codec Type message ?
