Which workbooks containts graph

I need to know which workbooks are using graphs, the best would be to query it via EUL5_* tables but i can't find where the graph/chart info is available. Please help where to find such information?
Actually the only way i can think about is to export all the workbooks in xml format and search for files where <chart> tag is available, but this is time consuming.
Any other suggestion is welcome!
Thanks.

Hello ncha
All workbooks that are saved to the database are saved to a file called EUL5_DOCUMENTS where DOC_NAME is the name of the workbook(s). The code for the workbook will be contained in a LONG RAW field called DOC_DOCUMENT.
Because it is a LONG datatype you cannot use SQL to query it directly. However, you should be able to create a function that will allow you to convert the LONG into text and then you should be able to search for the word CHART.
Not saying 100% that this will work but it might be worth a shot.
For help on creating such a function I'd like to refer you here: http://www.dba-oracle.com/t_select_long_table_column_sql.htm
Best wishes

  • How to determine which queries are in which workbooks?

    HI Folks.
I am attempting to determine if there is a method by which I can determine which queries are utilized in which workbooks in SAP BW system.
I found table RSRWBINDEXT which gives me the workbookid and name.  However I am not able to locate the table that gives me workbook id and query id.
Please let me know if you this table?
    Thanks

    Hi,
In BEx... copy workbook technical name.
After wards goto RSA1 metadata repository click-workbook---find your workbook.
If you click that workbook It gives receives information from all Queries list

  • Info on which users are running which workbooks & when

    Hi
Is there any way that I can monitor which users are using which workbooks and when they are running their queries. Are these stats logged anywhere?
    Cheers
    Claire

Yes. All you need to import the EUL4.EEX file and open the query Query Statistics workbook. It is described in the Admin Guide.

  • Reports to show which workbooks/sheets that use certain folders/columns

    Hi,
I need to be able to create reports in Discoverer 10.1.2.45.46c that show which workbooks/worksheets use certain folders and preferably columns.
Can anyone point me in the right direction ?
    Thanks
    Dennis

Have you looked at the Admin Guide? - there is an end-user layer export included with the product that has a lot of this pre-built. If it doesn't have the exact report you need at least it builds a lot of structure to help you on your way. You just go into the Admin tool and import the provided EEX file.

  • Xml publisher graph is not displaying

    Hi All,
I have created xml report which is having graph .It display through oracle apps(conc pgrm ) properly in test instance but after moving to production graph is not displaying .for that i have checked Xserver setup also everything is working fine.
Can any body tell me other possible reason and solution urgently .
    Regards
    RLRaj

    Hi,
Use <?start:body?> for defining your header and it will repeat on every page.
Also add <?end body?> as closing, for footer logic.

  • A critical program error has occured while opening workbook

    Dear friends,
A critical error has occured while opening workbook. The issue is that the same workbook is opening in some one machine but not in others. The following Dialog box is poping out when tried to open workbook:
"A critical program error has occured. The Program will now terminate. Please refer to trace for further information."
However,i  did the full updation of service pack3 of MS Excel 2003 on my machine and the same version as on that particular machine(on which workbook is opening). The problem is still there. Please provide some solution.
    Thankx a lot in advance!!!
    regards,
    Sandeep Singla

The machine where the workbook is opening has a GUI :-
    Release : "710 Final Release"
    File Version : 7100.2.7.1038
    Build : 967944
    Patch Level : 7
and the machine where the critical program error is coming has a GUI :-
    Release : "710 Final Release"
    File Version : 7100.2.8.1039
    Build : 983952
    Patch Level : 8
The Excel 2003 are similar in both the machines as the service pack3 has been installed in the machine where workbook was not opening.

  • Graphing engine is not responding in obiee 11g

    Hi All,
When i select Currency column in my report graph displaying bellow error.otherwise it is working fine.

    Any Help...

Which type of Graph you are using? What version of OBIEE are you using? This is a known bug when reports are upgraded from 10g to 11g and is commonly seen in versions of OBIEE 11.1.1.5 and above. Refer to the following:

  • Usage of a specific infoobject in Queris/Workbooks

    Hi everybody.
I'm going to add some nav. attribute to 0vendor infobject, and than
I need to update many queries in which 0vendor exists by replacing the
0vendor by the new nav. attribute.
I need to now in which workbooks/queries that are in use (in the last 30 days)
I have to make the changes.
    Please help !!!
    Thanks
    M.B.

I'm affraid you'll have to dig into some tables... here are a few that might be usefull
RSRREPDIR (you can find all queries linked to a Cube or get at least the guid of a query)
RSZELTXREF (with the guid you found before, you can retrieve ALL the query elements)
RSZELTDIR (gives more details about the elements... )
it'll depend whether you want to look on variables on the InfoObject or just the use of the InfoObject in rows/columns how far you have to dig... obviously you can dig the other way

  • Un-editable curves in graph editor?

Are the curves in the graph editor not supposed to be standard Beziers with standard editing techniques? I'm very good at controling Bezier curves in any application (including the pen tool in AE), but adjustment handles in the graph editor don't seem to follow the same rules.
For example: if the starting control point is set to ease out, it has an adjustment handle to the right, which I can move horizontally only. There isn't any way of dragging the adjustment handle at an angle, to change the shape of the curve controlled by the point. If I click the control point with the convert pen tool (including Alt + clicking) the curve changes to a straight line. Alt + clicking the curve again doesn't change it to a draggable curve point. It also doesn't seem possible to drag a control point or adjustment handle with the convert pen tool, which is how I'd normally get a second adjustment handle or change a line into a curve.
Creating points with the add pen tool also doesn't create control points that behave normally. The documentation makes no mention of any of this, and describes the curves as standard, editable Bezier paths. Everything else in AE CS4 seems to be working normally.
    Anyone have an idea?

As Mylenium cleartly explained, the graph editor can display a value graph or a speed graph for any chosen property. By default the Graph Editor is set to auto-select which kind of graph to show for each property. In other words, it will pick the one that arguably it's the most useful in most cases. Since one could consider a motion path -the vector path you get in the Comp panel to represent position- as the most natural way of displaying position property values, the Graph Editor defaults to showing speed when you select position.
Now, having control over speed is a great thing. But many people are confused because these handles don't rotate like normal bèzier handles do. Don't worry: they do not rotate, simply because as far as speed goes, rotating the handles doesn't mean anything.
More info on this in AE Community help's section Controlling speed between keyframes.
Another head-scrather is that the traditional value graph for position is limited in that you can't use normal bèzier handles in it because the XYZ values are tied together. New in CS4m you now have the ability so separate dimensions, ie get separate properties for position x, position y and position z. When you do that, you get the same vector controls in the Graph Editor.
Take a look at Separate dimensions of Position to animate components individually in After Effects Community Help.

  • Display counter output on graph

I have two counters generating continuous digial pulse trains from my PCI 6010, and I'm trying to display the output on a graph.  I've got the output of one counter connected to an AI line that leads to a waveform graph, but I can't get anything on the graph.  I've measured the output via external means, so I know the counters are generating the appropriate pulses.
Eventually I'd like to have some sort of indicator for each counter that indicates whether the counter is in the 'on' or 'off' state, but I figured getting the counter outputs to diplay on a graph would be a good first step.
My VI is below; the display part that isn't working is at the bottom of the case structure.
    Thanks.

Once your code goes into the inner while loop your graph will never be updated since it will only execute one time. In order to update the graph continually you will need a parallel which handles the graph updates. A good way to pass data between the parallel tasks is a queue.

  • Date on X axis in graph

In which type of graph I could get date on X axis in graph other than line and bar. My graph has date in x axis and aggregate in y axis and a bubble in z axis which graph will support it.

    this is to john
when drag and drop gantt>resource utilzation
i try use some date to display gantt but throws error.
so my question.? can we use date in gantt>resource utilzation.
if i remove date. it looks fine.

  • Graph scale updates on tabs

We have a program with several tabs, each of which has different graphs and displays.  On one of the tabs is a histogram style bar graph.  We've added annotations to each bar to label each bar with a particular identifier.  The graphs are set to autoscaling, so first we write the data to the graph with a "Value" property node, then read back the graph's YMax value and use that to help calculate where to put each annotation.  (We typically put the annotation above the bar, but have to limit it to less than the YMax value so it stays on the graph.)  Works fine, as long as the graph's tab is displayed.
So now you're displaying a different tab and put new data into the system.  Then click to the aforementioned tab.  The new data is displayed, and the graph is properly auto-scaled, but the annotations are out of place.  The YMax that was used to calculate their maximum y position was the graph's YMax from the last time it was displayed.
What appears to be going on is that the graph's display isn't completely updated when LabVIEW knows that the graph isn't visible.  When you later make the graph visible, LabVIEW appears to have instantly autoscaled it correctly, but the YMax value that was available when the annotations were being created isn't the YMax that would be expected from the new data.
Our work-around is to use the maximum Y value of the data.  For autoscaled graphs, this is usually pretty similar to the YMax of the axis, but not exactly the same.
Does anyone have any insights or other ideas?  (Synchronous display didn't seem to help.  And we couldn't find any other property nodes that might be relevant.)

    DaveT,
This may be a complete hack/abomination, but if you are prevented from manipulating your graph if the tab is not visible, you could use an Event Structure and handle the tab's Value Change event.  Update your graph within that event.

  • Newbie Question - Distribution Graphs in Discoverer

    Hi there,
I don't seem to be able to produce simple population distribution graphs in Discoverer (10g) Desktop or Plus. I'm trying to graph something as simple as #Students over Age from a simple corresponding table.
Discoverer is not presenting me with options to select the source of Y axis and X axis values with (for example) a Fit to Curve graph type. All Discoverer does is assume that each of your columns are seperate series' which it will graph on the same page.
Any advice is most welcome - I'm sure there's something simple that I'm not doing right...
    Thanks
    Dennis

Hi. Did you ever resolve this issue? I have not used this version before and cannot fathom why you cannot amend x or Y axis sources. For example, we have added the percentages to a report between compliant and non compliant spend. We want to represent the trend of the percentages in a graph. However, we cannot because the data being picked up is the spend on the Y axis, not the percentages.
    Any ideas?

  • Setting Destination URI of a Pie Chart Graph Programatically-OA Framework

    Hi All,
I have created a OF Page with the following Regions one under the other:
    1. PageLayoutRN
    2. HideShowHdr1 - Hide/Show Header
    3. TblLayout1RN - Table Layout
    4. Tbl1RowLayout1RN - Table Row Layout
    5. Row1CellFormat1RN - Cell Format
    6. Row2CellFormat2RN - Cell Format
Basically I have a page with a hide/show header, which contains a table with 1 Row and 2 Columns, where 1 column contains an advanced table and the 2nd contains a Graph (Pie Chart).
In the Row2CellFormat2RN, I have a GraphTable Region under the name PieChart1RN, which contains a graph called graph1 of style Pie.
As per the OA Framework Development Guide (744832.1) for R12.1.1 on Graphs (Page 255), a Code snippet is provided for setting the Destination URI of the graph programatically.
    This code is as follows:
    if(webBean.getUINodeName().equals("region3"))
       OAGraphTableBean g2 =(OAGraphTableBean)webBean;
       g2.setDisplayDataMarkers(0, true);
       g2.setDrillDownUrl(0, "OA.jsp?page=/oracle/apps/ak/pages/FWK_TEST_AGR_SUM&akRegionApplicationId=601&sal={@Salary}");
//Test line graph with data markers and drill-down
       g2.setDisplayToolTip(1,true);
       g2.setDisplayDataMarkers(1, true);
       g2.setDrillDownUrl(1,"http://www.oracle.com");
} I have tried using this code to set the Destination URI for my graph.
    However, it does not work.
I do not understand which region name to specify as when I displayed the value contained in webBean.getUINodeName(), it refers to PageLayoutRN.
In short, I am not being able to set the Destination URI. Even though I have ensured the Bubble Text Property is set to True.
Can someone pls. help me into adapting this code to my context?
    Thks
    Ravi

    Hi Kumar,
    I have already done it.
However, it still does not work.
The controller code looks like it does not recognise my graph region at all.
    Thks
    Ravi

  • Wiring data into a graph in a cluster

    Hallo,
I would like to ask please how to feed data into a  graph in a cluster. My intention is to read a data file (txt). So I read a spreadsheet, extract the data of interest from the header and of course the actual datapoints taken. For that reason I made a cluster of numerous elements some of which are XY graphs. I tried to extract the column vectors of the data and display them in a graph. The problem is that the connection is not OK. Labview keeps telling me that I have a data mismatch. I took two arrays, e.g. time and X, bundled them together and wired to the unbundled function of the indicator. The message is the source is a cluster of two elements whereas the sink is a 1D array of cluster of two elements. What does that mean ? I mean when I use a regualar indicator XY graph (not in a cluster) it works fine. Any hint is appreciated.
    Yours Sincerely
    Karel
PS: I generally used to do it the way that I created a custom control first then I place this control in my subVI and use bundle by nama and simply create a constant for the input cluster => select the elements I wish to update, is this the correct way of using the cluster of indicators ?

Yes.  Much easier to figure out what you are doing by way of looking at a VI rather than a bunch of words.
Use the Index and Bundle Cluster Array function.
