Why can not setInt be used on the RedHat linux

Question

I used one of PreparedStatement mothed, setInt, to insert a int number into database table such as emp. It does run normally on the windows2000, but it can't run on the linux. Could you tell me the answer? my email is: [email protected] . It is emergency. Thank you very much!!!

Could you tell me how to correctly compile the source code?Something like
javac MyClass.java
But that presumes you are using the sun jdk package. You can at least verify the java part by typing
java -version
which should return something.
