Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events from my iPhone in my mac pro if I already registered it in the cloud?

Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events already registered in my iPhone, in my Mac Pro ? I already actualize LION OSX and selected these items in the adjustments menu of the icloud. I could do it just once, after I installed Lion OSX, but up to the moment it does not updates.

Assuming you activated iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud and make sure Calendars and Contacts are set to ON.

Check that you have entered the information into an iCloud group and not an On My Mac group, only information in iCloud groups will sync.

Might you have 200 entries in On My Mac groups and some of your appointments in On My Mac calendars?

Why would I lose most contacts and calendar events?

Overnight, my calendar events and almost all my contacts are gone from my iPad mini. My phone was not effected. I cannot add events to the device calendar. The contacts in iMessage come up as numbers and I can add them as a new contact. Weird.... Help?

Sometimes you cannot create events if the calendar isn't turned on in Settings>iCloud>Calendars>On.
For the disappearing events, try this. Settings> iCloud>Calendar>Off. When you do that you will get a popup asking if you want to keep the events on the iPad or delete them. Elect to keep them on the iPad. Then turn Calendars on again. You will be given the option to merge your calendar with iCloud. Say yes to that option. Check the calendar and see if the events returned.

How to force a restore of contacts and calendar events from Palm Profile? (and memos and tasks!)

Yesterday I had to do a partial erase restart of my beloved Palm Pre. In the past I have had to do full data restorations, and have had no problems at all. This time, however, my Pre did not recover the dozens of contacts saved in my Palm Profile, nor did it recover any of the Palm Profile calendar events (and all my memos are gone, as well as tasks). I've tried using the "synch" button in the contacts preferences dialog box, but it did nothing. Does anyone know if it is possible to "force" a full recovery of your data from the Palm Profile backup, or if there is a way to access that data online somehow? Much of my contact data I have successfully migrated through seven previous Palm PDAs and phones...it would be too painfully ironic if I've now lost all of that data just because I bought a Palm Pre and trusted the Profile backup system...

It sounds like you now have no iCloud Contacts or Calendar information on your iPhone.

I can't set up contacts and calendar for iCloud on my PC

I'm trying to set up iCloud so it'll sync my Mail, Contacts, and Calendar & Tasks between my Windo. However, the iCloud Control Panel won't let me set up the Contacts and Calendar & Tasks. When setting up, it asks me to shut down Outlook (which I do). Then it tells me that I need to restart Outlook with Mail enabled and that I need to add my iCloud account in order to add Contacts and Calendar & Tasks. I have no idea what the former means. I have added my iCloud account although what I REALLY want to sync is the Contacts and Calendar data from the e-mail I use Outlook for (which is also my Apple ID). I have Outlook 2010. Any idea why I'm getting this message and how I can set up iCloud?

I have a couple of articles here that should help you get iCloud set up on your Windows machine. The first is about activating iCloud mail in Outlook, and can be found below:

And here are the steps you need to follow:
Set up iCloud Mail on Microsoft Outlook 2010 or Microsoft Outlook 2007
Open the iCloud Control Panel, select (to turn on) the Mail, Contacts, Calendars, & Tasks checkbox, then click Apply.
To open the iCloud Control Panel in Windows 8, move the pointer to the upper-right corner of the screen to show the Charms bar, click the Search charm, then click iCloud Control Panel on the left.
To open the iCloud Control Panel in Windows 7 or Windows Vista, choose Start menu > All Programs > iCloud > iCloud.
Your iCloud Mail account is displayed in the left column of Microsoft Outlook.
To view your iCloud Mail account in Microsoft Outlook, click the disclosure triangle to the left of your iCloud email account.

You will also probably want to pay special attention to this particular part of that article:

Thank you Meta, but I could not get the calendar and contact sync with Gmail to work. Apple support already suggested to use Google or a Windows PC. Maybe I should actually reset and try my old Windows PC. Seriously, ... can this be the solution after a Mac OS update for pure Apple users?
