I am receiving "update to the latest version" over and over and over again and when I click "OK" you give me garbage! I can't go beyond that page. I thought I had the latest version, something like 35. Things are working fine without your "latest version",just get off my back!

I can onto anything else on the internet but i cannot get my school web age top load. I can get to the sign in page but when i sign in it just keeps coming up a blank page and does not open. i get no error message with this problem. i was just on this website last week with no problem. When contacting school support they informed me it was on my side of the computer not theirs becasue they can pull up my school work and information from their computer.
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, remove all the individual cookies for the site. Then close the dialog and try reloading the page.

Why can't I tell Siri "No" to stop dialing a wrong number? It's embarrassing to keep telling the same people over and over that I mistakenly dialed their number. Even if I yell "stop" or "no" it keeps dialing. Very frustrating. Even very simple names. And I talk on the phone for a living. Which is why I need to use Siri to save me time. I speak very clearly. Because of this problem, I've had to even add special code letters before people's names to increase the chances of Siri getting it right, which is only about 70% of the time.

Why can't I reply to emails on my iPhone 5 - this is a recent problem, I have been able to reply and delete email messages previously.

As RG says, if you're in the US, you haven't allowed for the sales taxes charged by your city and state. You'll need to buy something less expensive, add a credit card, or redeem an additional iTunes card.

Why can't GB let me use 'electric guitar' option when using Nio 2/4 interface - I have to use real instrument and miss out on all the effects. Is this normal for all interfaces? The Nio reads hte guitar but GB doesn't....
Usually effects packages are AU plugins that would have no effect on track selection. Interfaces should have no control over what kind of track you can select. I really think something else is going on her maybe something you overlooked.
Did you choose the input channel in the track info pane. Try both channel 1 mono or channel 2 mono. Make sure the track is record enabled. -

It would be nice to see feedback on the more critical reviews rather than seeing nothing but cult-followers of various artists leaving carpet-bomb 5-star reviews. It kinda diminishes the quality and legitimacy of iTune's recommendations as well as how they sort popular artists.

Why can't the finder in Mountain Lion 10.8.2 find files that have successfully downloaded, or that other programs can find?
This happens with maybe 1 out of 5 files. These are files that have either an ."aa" extention, or or are libraries that icloud can see, but finder can't.Files beginning with a period are invisible and library files are system files. Spotlight cannot find either unless configured to do so (btw, this is not a Finder issue but a Spotlight issue.)
Get Spotlight to search system files (and more)
Enter the search term in the Finder window's search field.
Click the [+] button in the search bar to add a search option.
In the first drop down menu choose Other.
Choose “System Files” from the list that pops up (and check the box to place in drop down menu to avoid this step later,) click on the OK button.
Now back in the Finder choose Include from the second drop down menu. -

Why can't I turn off location services? Restrictions are disabled. The on off slidebar is grayed out. I'm concerned my phone is being tracked.
While I know there are phones that can do this, they really are not powered "off" - they are more in a hybernation state. However, the iPhone has never worked that way. Off on an iPhone means truly powered off - nothing is still running so there is no minimal function left ticking away to wake up the phone and sound the alarm.

I bought 3 films and none of them had subtitles or alternative languages: why? I paid full price (like a dvd) without the same options. Why should I pay the same price? What I want is to change languages or to have subtitles (Kung Fu Panda2 and Rise of the Planet of the Apes and SpongeBob).

Depending on what country you are in, you may get movies in that countries native language. -
