Why do I see numbers appended to my Certs after renewal?

Hi,
When I built my Offline Root CA and created its Cert the first time, it was named Server_RootCert Was easy to understand and I brought Server_RootCert over to the Issuing CAs, etc.
When I renew my Offline Root CA Cert, what I see is numbers created and appended to files which Im confused over.
So if my initial Cert was named Server_RootCert when I renewed it the first time, I now see in the CertEnroll folder the following:
Server_RootCert
Server_RootCert(1)
The Server_RootCert has the original date on it whereas the Server_RootCert(1) has the renewal date on it, so Im thinking the Server_RootCert(1) is now current and is brought over to my issuing CAs, correct? I see the same for the CRL as well.
Any explanation and reference to doc is appreciated.

these suffixes are necessary to support CA certificate/key renewals. CA certificate index is increased each time you renew CA cert (even if reusing key pair) and CRL index is increased when you renew CA cert with new key pair.

If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears.

My Root CA is set to issue Certs with a Validity Period of 1 day. My Sub Issuing CA is set to issue Certs with a Validity Period of 5 hours. I have 2 Cert templates which enables client computers to auth to workstations/servers. Template
A has a Validity Period of 5 hours and 1 Hour Renewal whereas Template B has a Validity Period of 2 hours and 0 hours renewal. My Win 7 can always successfully enroll in Template A, regardless of when I renew my Sub Issuing CA cert, but
not with Template B which gives a 'The parameter is incorrect' error.
Why can I only enroll in Template A but not B and what does the 'The parameter is incorrect' error mean?

I'm assuming that you're setting such short renewals to test functionality
but to be honest, you're not testing real world scenarios and you're bound
to run up against some strange behaviour with your approach to testing.
IMO, you're better off setting up your test bed in an isolated environment,
use more realistic validity periods, and then manipulate the date and time
on your test systems to simulate renewal and expiration behaviour.

I have a few photos uploaded to Revel. That seems to create a copy of the same photo in my catalog. Is this the way Revel works?

Can you please elaborate your steps here? Generally Organizer don't creates copies of media but in following cases, it will create copies:
- [For PSE12 only]: If you try to upload a RAW file from Organizer to Revel then Organizer will create a proxy JPEG and upload it to Revel. So in Revel you will have 'single' copy whereas Organizer will show two copies: JPEG and Raw. Please note that this behavior was changed in PSE12.1 (and is available in PSE13 as well).
- If in Organizer, you have an image which is already uploaded to one of the library. Now if you try to upload (drag-drop) to another library then Organizer will create copies of it (this is AsDesigned).
Apart from above two cases (If I am not missing something ), Organizer should not create copies of it. Please let me know your exact scenario.

There is no valid SMTP Transport Layer Security (TLS) certificate for the FQDN of SERVER.domainname.local. The existing certificate for that FQDN has expired. The continued use of that FQDN will cause mail flow problems. A new certificate that contains the
FQDN of SERVER.domainname.local should be installed on this server as soon as possible. You can create a new certificate by using the New-ExchangeCertificate task.
I used "Get-ExchangeCertificate | Select CertificateDomains,Thumbprint,Status,Services | fl"
to see which cert was expired
I used "Get-ExchangeCertificate –Thumbprint 91D4C277BE4DF5FA15FC76D936375B7766ABCC23 | New-ExchangeCertificate" to replace the expired cert
I re-ran "Get-ExchangeCertificate | Select CertificateDomains,Thumbprint,Status,Services | fl"
to see if it had worked
but now i have two certs one expired the other not. Can i delete the expired cert?????

Yes you can delete the expired certificate which are showing as it is not functional anymore and they remain as stale entries
You can use below command
Remove-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint "specify the value "

Why Pages, keynotes, and Numbers are not free? I bought my Mac at Oct 14, 2013. With the new OS X Mavericks relaeaed, Apple said that these three Apps are free to new buyers, I bought Macbook Air last week. Why I didn't see these three Apps free after I logged in the Mac App Store?

***For those that purchased iWork 09 not on the app store but as a retail disk copy you can get the update for iWork even though it may show $19.99 for all the apps:
You can reupdate to iWork 9.3 by going here http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1563
then after it is updated close the app store if opened then open it again and sign out then sign in and then all the iwork 2013 apps should show as update rather than $19.99 cost each. This worked for me. I bought iwork '09 on disk but it showed 19.99 each after I upgraded to Mavericks so followed the above steps and it worked. I am now updating all my iWork suite I bought on disk, NOT on the Mac app store and now I have a Mac app store set!
Apple sure has a problem that needs to be fixed otherwise iWork will eventually be free for everyone...
Someone at Apple forgot all of us old retail people before the Mac App store existed!

I installed all the patched mentioned in the note (Apply forms version 10.1.2.2.0 with the forms patch 7488328 , Apply patch 7207440:R12.TXK.A , Apply patch 7601624 - NEW PROFILE OPTION: FORMS DIGIT SUBSTITUTION)
These patches add the Profile option (FORMS DIGIT SUBSTITUTION) , but when i try to used it has no effect at all .
So kindly if you have any idea about this issue please help me.

Assuming Apple doesn't eviscerate the files of the secondary graphics with another upgrade, there could be a plug in that reads the graphic and runs along side iTunes..we should get someone or Apple to program an alternative If we have to accept this downgrade in iTunes proper.
I've developed a quick workaround, and am still hoping Apple will fix this!
Go To Get Info on the tune you want to see secondary artwork for.
Go To the Artwork tab
Drag the back cover to the desktop, and it will create a new jpg you can open with quick viw or prieview where you can see it large!
you end up with a lot of jpgs on the desktop to discard!

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Do you have two different catalogues (One for you and other one for your husband)
if yes,
In Elements organizer go to File>Manage Catalogs and check if you have any catalogue listed of your name.
if yes, double click on that catalogue and it will open the media on that catalogue.
