Why generic error with SSL?
in mail.log I read much lines like:
date hour server postfix/tlsmgr[XXXXX]: warning: encryption keys etc. may be predictable
date hour server postfix/tlsmgr[XXXXX]: warning: no entropy source specified with parameter
It's a real warning? If yes can be solved?
Yes I know the limits of CACert, this require to gave at every client the .cer file before connect to mail server. But if no one never start the politics of cacert... Thanks for info confirmation.
Use, not Require: yes I have understand this thing and from initial configuration I have always set Use.
But, from this, I'm more surprised of the false warn
warning: encryption keys etc. may be predictable
warning: no entropy source specified with parameter
I desume that this warning message must be considered as normal?

Generic Error with Priemiere Elements
I am beginning to shoot footage for a stock company and was trying out the trial version of Premiere Elements 11. I am running an iMac version 10.7.5 and the camera I am using is the Panasonic HDC-HS700 HD. I shot the footage in that then used the Aunsoft Panasonic ACVHD converter to convert the H.264 vodeo .mov format. This worked fine and I did a quick edit using MPEG Streamclip program and was able to submit the footage. But I wanted a more robust editing program so I DL'd the Premiere Elements 11 trail. The installation went fine but when I tried to drag or open the file I would get that a generic error occurred with no further explaination. This happened when I dragged the file in and also when I tried to import it from the organizer. I tried rebooting the computer but that did not fix the issue.
I had read that Quick Time needed to be a current version and I have version 10.1.
I can view the file in Quicktime and I can also drag it into iMovie without a problem. There just seems to be an issue with getting it to load into Elements. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
DaveWelcome to the forum.
I am not sure exactly what you were trying to do with PrE (the PrE 11 trial).
Let's step back to what one needs to do, to edit with PrE.
First, a New Project will need to be created. This can be done from the Welcome Screen. Locate and name that New Project.
Once created, and Open in PrE 11, there will initially be nothing showing - a blank Timeline.
Go to Get Media, navigate to where you media files are located, and Import those.
Then, from the Project Panel, with those Imported media files, drag 1, or more, to the Timeline.
For more background on working with PrE, Steve Grisetti has a great Basic Training Series on Muvipix.com (a sister site to this forum): http://www.muvipix.com/products.php?searchphrase=basic+training&btn.x=21&btn.y=7 Just scroll down to the Premiere Elements 11 Basic Training Series. That will quickly get you up to speed.
If you decide that PrE 11 is the program, that you want to use, I strongly recommend Steve's Muvipix Guide to PrE 11, also available from Muvipix.com, and Amazon. When you get past the basics, he has a great Tips & Tricks book, that is a companion, that takes one into the realm of highly creative and advanced video-editing techniques.
Good luck,

The socket creation should be provided with the proper host and the port. the resource on the host is something you should ask your server (HTTP GET ... whatever).
The https://abc.com:443 is equal to https://abc.com as the default port for https is 443. the host variable should be "abc.com" and the port "443" and the rest negotiated in application level (HTTP GET /XYZ [is not the proper syntax]).
Further, with this description, the first url (https://server/resource:port) is not making any sense.
You problem in first place is probably the host and port parameters (specifically the port has been set to 80 which most likely is wrong) . you need to consider the other port regarding newline and CRs buildging the proxy authentication header, but you debug logs suggest that your test proxy server takes it. -
I went through the forums and made sure that any blocks or copywrites weren't triggered by the file, it's clean and can be opened using a media player and other video editing software like windows MovieMaker. I keep getting "The importer reported a generic error" message and have no idea how to proceed. Can someone please help?
Re: Why do I get "generic error" message when trying to upload a self-created, 1hr .wmv file?
This ARTICLE starts with a checklist on setting up a computer to run PrE best, then goes into a series of links for tuning up one's computer and OS, and then links on troubleshooting.
There is also a link on posting all necessary info, to help others help you.
Without knowing much more about your system, it is impossible to say much beyond that WMV's are tough assests to work with, requiring a lot of CPU horsepower.
Good luck,

Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
Weblogic app server wsdl web service call with SSL Validation error = 16
I need to make wsdl web service call in my weblogic app server. The web service is provided by a 3rd party vendor. I keep getting error
Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found
Certificate chain received from ws-eq.demo.xxx.com - xx.xxx.xxx.156 was not trusted causing SSL handshake failure
Validation error = 16
From the SSL debug log, I can see 3 verisign hierarchy certs are correctly loaded (see 3 lines in the log message starting with “adding as trusted cert”). But somehow after first handshake, I got error “Cannot complete the certificate chain: No trusted cert found”.
Here is how I load trustStore and keyStore in my java program:
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore",”cacerts”);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", trustKeyPasswd);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStoreType","JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStoreType","JKS");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", keyStoreName);
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword",clientCertPwd); System.setProperty("com.sun.xml.ws.transport.http.client.HttpTransportPipe.dump","true");
Here is how I create cacerts using verisign hierarchy certs (in this order)
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignClass3G5PCA3Root.txt -alias "Verisign Class3 G5P CA3 Root"
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediatePrimary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Primary"
1.6.0_29/jre/bin/keytool -import -trustcacerts -keystore cacerts -storepass changeit -file VerisignC3G5IntermediateSecondary.txt -alias "Verisign C3 G5 Intermediate Secondary"
Because my program is a weblogic app server, when I start the program, I have java command line options set as:
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore=SSLTrust.jks
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.ignoreHostnameVerification=true
-Dweblogic.security.SSL.enforceConstraints=strong
That SSLTrust.jks is the trust certificate from our web server which sits on a different box. In our config.xml file, we also refer to the SSLTrust.jks file when we bring up the weblogic app server.
In addition, we have working logic to use some other wsdl web services from the same vendor on the same SOAP server. In the working web service call flows, we use clientgen to create client stub, and use SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter to load trustStore and keyStore, and then bind the SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the webSerive client object and make the webservie call. For the new wsdl file, I am told to use wsimport to create client stub. In the client code created, I don’t see any way that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to the client object, so I have to load certs by settting system pramaters. Here I attached the the wsdl file.
I have read many articles. It seems as long as I can install the verisign certs correctly to web logic server, I should have fixed the problem. Now the questions are:
1. Do I create “cacerts” the correct order with right keeltool options?
2. Since command line option “-Dweblogic.security.SSL.trustedCAKeyStore” is used for web server jks certificate, will that cause any problem for me?
3. Is it possible to use wsimport to generate client stub that I can bind SSLContext and WLSSLAdapter objects to it?
4. Do I need to put the “cacerts” to some specific weblogic directory?

The how to guide is :
-Download the wsdl file (with bindings, not the one from ESR)
-Correct it in order that the schema corresponds to the answer (remove minOccurs or other things like this)
-Deploy the wsdl file on you a server (java web project for exemple). you can deploy on your local
-Create a new logicial destination that point to the wsdl file modified
-Change the metadata destination in your web dynpro project for the corresponding model and keep the execution desitnation as before.
Then the received data is check by the metadata logical destination but the data is retrieved from the correct server. -
Hi,
Im unable to open the RPD online getting following error.
Note: Im not done any changes. Its works good till yesterday EOD.
Error:
[NQSError:13037] cannot connect to BI security service,Please make sure this is running properly (with SSL or not) in EM.
[NQSError:37001] could not connect to the oracle BI server instance..
Kindly help me to fix this issue.Hi,
Could you access the answer side.
Could you see the reports.
Do one thing, take a back up of NQS config file from <Oracle Location>\instance\instance1\config\obiserver folder\nqsconfig.ini file.
Copy nqs config file if you have already have a back up.
Restart the services and try once.

Error in scenario "FILE to HTTP(with SSL)" - HTTP client code 110 reason.
Hi friends,
Our scenario is as follows:
We are trying to send XML file from our SAP-XI to external tool "COMMunix XC" (a multi-protocol EDI platform tool).
We have configured " FILE TO HTTP(with SSL)" scenario (trying to connect HTTPS/port)
1. We have created RFC destination of type G and refered the same RFC in Communication channel (Adapter type: HTTP)
2. We have send the SSL Server certificate to other party and ensure that they have imported at thier end.
3. We have included the certificates from other party in our SAP XI STRUST under SSL Client (Standard) node.
4. We have tried " CONNECTION TEST " in the RFC destination created in type G (in STEP 1) and it shows the GREEN TICK at bottom, no other message nor any error message
When we trigger the communication we recieve the error: HTTP client code 110 reason in SXMB_MONI.
Please let us know if we have missed out some step.
What does error message indicate,
Regards,
RehanHi Rehan,
I see that the PROCTIMEOUT was already at a very high value.
Does this occur for messages of a particularly large size? If yes, you could increase the parameter
icm/HTTP/max_request_size_KB = 2097152
This would need to be done in the sender/receiver system as well as XI.
Otherwise you could try reproducing the issue and checking the dev_icm log in the work directory, or go to SMICM -> Goto -> Display trace file
check for errors like NIECONN_REFUSED or "no service for protocol HTTPS" which can often be related to this type of issue.
Kind regards,
Sarah -

Application Builder comes up with generic error #42
Building a large application that has previously built without a problem in LabVIEW 2009 SP1.
The error message returned is -
"Error 42 occurred at D:\EMSolutions\Automation\PTMP\System Measurement Functions\System Measurements.llb\PTMP - Tx Performance.vi
Possible reason(s):
LabVIEW: Generic error."
Would appreciate some clues as to what might cause this error.
Herbert NieslerHave had it happen to me again and managed to play around a bit and found the following -
1. The error 42 occurs in relation to a Start Up vi (I have multiple startup vi's in this project). Doesn't happen to any other vi.
2. If I remove the offending vi from the project, the error 42 then occurs on another startup vi.
3. Putting that vi back in and making it a startup vi again triggers the problem with that vi.
4. Then I opened the offending startup vi (note that the project was compiled with all startup vi's closed). On building the application the error 42 occurred on another startup vi (the same vi as happend in 2.).
5. When I opened this 2nd offending vi and did a build, I had success.
Now I realise I have not seen the problem before because I usually did a build with all the startup vi's open. Its only recently that I have started doing builds with all front panels closed.
So advice at this stage is - open the front panels of your startup vi's and that should get rid of the error 42.

Get 'Generic Error' when attempting to import .mov files with transparency?
I get the 'Generic Error' when attempting to import .mov files with transparency? I'm trying to use mattes with an alpha channel but I cannot import them. I have had this same issue since cs6, now I have it with cc 2014? Any clues would be most appreciated.
I have uninstalled the DVCPro Codec, but it didn't help.
I have tried converting the .mov file (which is now automatic in Yosemite) and this creates a ProRes4444 Codec, Again no luck with import.
I've seen this issue on the web, but never a solution? Anyone?Hi Terence,
I tried iPhoto Library Manager but it could not solve my problem. Opening the iPhoto library I can see that the reference to the pictures are pointing to my old location not to the new one. I considered running a script that would change all pointers since this is basically what is needed (in my case from /Volumes/RAID1/Fotos/XXX to /Volumes/Fotos/XXX). Instead I inserted a soft unix link to make to connection but that did not work. It is referring to the airport disk by the airport name rather than the mounted disk name. Very strange indeed. The problem is maybe not in iPhoto but in OSX? Anyway, maybe the only way out is to take some hours and manually run through all linked photos... cumbersome and annoying!

How do add .mov files in Premiere Elements 11 with Windows 8? I get a generic error message.
Hi Steve,
Thanks for your quick response. The original movies were taken on a Canon ES970 (1990's). I don't know the resolution but things were not as high tech back then.,.. I used a Roxio software to convert them on my MacBook Air. I didn't realize that I could use Adobe Premiere Elements to do that or I would have. However my old camera did not have a cable to attach it to a computer and the Roxio software came with it.
I then saved the recordings on an external hard drive. I did not make movies from them using iMovie or edit them in any way. They are simply .MOV files and they can be played on my Mac. Upon realizing how much memory it takes to work on videos, I decided it might be easier to burn DVD's on my husband's new Dell desktop that came with Windows 8. I downloaded Quicktime as suggested and still the movies can't be added to Premiere. -
Failed Message Routing - Generic Error Description - why?
Hi,
I have developed a custom pipeline component but when it throws an exception, it throws a generic exception description, as follows:
"The Message Engine encountered an error during the processing of one of or inbound messages"
I have 'Failed Message Routing' enabled on my port and an orchestration that subscribes to these failed messages.
But I'm creating my own custom error description, with information I use further down the process, this custom description gets overwritten by Biztalk somewhere after been thrown.
Is there a reason for this? And is there a way to work around this?Thanks for your reply.
I'm trying to get a value from the using XPathReader
Here is a snippet of my code
Stream inboundStream = bodyPart.GetOriginalDataStream();
VirtualStream virtualStream = new VirtualStream(bufferSize, thresholdSize);
ReadOnlySeekableStream readOnlySeekableStream = new ReadOnlySeekableStream(inboundStream, virtualStream, bufferSize);
XmlTextReader xmlTextReader = new XmlTextReader(readOnlySeekableStream);
XPath.XPathCollection xPathCollection = new XPathCollection();
XPathReader xPathReader = new XPathReader(xmlTextReader, xPathCollection);
xPathCollection.Add(XpathValue);
bool ok = false;
string Value = string.Empty;
while (xPathReader.ReadUntilMatch())
if (xPathReader.Match(0) && !ok)
if (xPathReader.NodeType == XmlNodeType.Element)
xpathValue = xPathReader.ReadString();
else
Value = xPathReader.GetAttribute(xPathReader.LocalName);
ok = true;
DateTime.TryParse(Value, out myDate);
readOnlySeekableStream.Position = 0;
bodyPart.Data = readOnlySeekableStream;
if an Exception happens anywhere before this code or even during this code snippet, I get my custom error description but when the code exits the 'while statement' and if an exception happens, I get the generic error description - "The Message Engine
encountered an error during the processing of one of or inbound messages"
Does something happen the stream when it is used in XpathReader?
Thank you -
I have CS6 Production Premium suite. I've had it and it works fine on my laptop for a couple years and just bought a new apple desktop and now when I have a project in premiere, it won't allow me to send it to After Effects. I keep getting a "The importer reported a generic error." Really need to get this problem resolved as the laptop is not as fast as it used to be, and I'm working on a short film haha.
Thank you for your time and help.
All the best,
BrandonHi Brandon,

After doing the reboot my computer gives me the "You can't use this version of the application "Adobe After Effects CS6" with this version of OS X. Nothing has changed on my computer but it was fine before. What else can we try? Thank you for your patience.
Make sure that you update After Effects: Can't launch | Mac OS X 10.9 (Mavericks)

Hi folks,
I have one query why asm startwith with + sign? what happen add datafile file in table space,or add disk in disk group without using + sign ,please explain with error no.hello,
+ sign is to indicate the diskgroup you intended to place datafile. this apply to all database files.
without + sign,will be place in ORACLE_HOME/dbs directory. there will be NO error.
see example here: without using +
SQL> create tablespace test45 datafile 'temdg' size 10m;
Tablespace created.
SQL> select name from v$datafile;
NAME
/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/temdg
7 rows selected.
second example: with using + sign to specify diskgroup
SQL> create tablespace test55 datafile '+temdg' size 10m;
Tablespace created.
SQL> select name from v$datafile;
NAME
/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1/dbs/temdg
+TEMDG/orcl/datafile/test55.261.844200359
8 rows selected.
