Why has my i pd touch got a white screen? CAn't access any info?

Display shows white screen
Turn iPod touch off and turn it on again.
If the iPod will not turn off, try to reset it. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until either the Apple logo or battery symbol appears. If the battery symbol appears, continue to charge iPod touch until it is fully charged.
If that doesn't work, try restoring the iPod. See this article for assistance.

Which is why you can not use the remote app. Did you turn on home sharing on your computer and on ATV?
eve though they have the same Apple ID.
Did you enter the ApplieID in the home sharing login though? Or just in for the iTunes store, or iCloud, or photo sharing, or something else?

That would be AirPlay, not homesharing. THey are not related. Did you enable air play on all the devices?
Have you run the network test tools on ATV? Can ATV access the iTunes store, Netflix, etc? -
my iphone crashed during update now i have to restore but dont have my latest photos backed up ? i have a picture of itunes with the usb on my screen and cant go any further? is there a way to get it back without the update?

A iCloud alert message about backing up is frozen on my screen. Cant access anything on my ipad. How do I get this alert message of my ipad screen? I cant access any of the content that was in my music library that was set up on my old destroyed laptop. so Home Share cant be used. Is there a way to pull all of the music content, not just iTune purchased music, from my 4th Gen Nano back into my new iTunes set up on my new home compter?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
The music sync is one - way - computer to ipod. The only exception is itunes purchases. -
My Ipad 2 has tried to shot down now for 3 hours, just before I could not open Itunes and App Store but Email and other apps was working. them I tried to shot down but I have now for now for more that 3 hours black screen whit turning wheel. any I deas what too do

Help needed, i Cant' access any prefs, only eternel wheel of death

I've just spent 3 hours at my friend's house last night to help him with is Logic Express and the UX1 (interface.)
He has a G5 1.6 running 10.4.3 with 1.25 gig of ram with the UX1 from Line 6 for his audio interface.
.......Even if logic Express is running fine, we can't access ANY preferences of Logic Express.
The minute we try to open any preferences such as global, midi , the Audio and Driver page, ect... we get the Eternal wheel of Death :-((
We tried with Logic Express 7.0.0, 7.1.0 and 7.1.1 and we have the same problem.
We have deleted all prefs (i think) in case one was corrupted but we still got the same results.
(By reinstalling Logic Express, we were able to have the set-up assistant to open so that we could choose the UX1 for the interface.)
We have update the firmware.
(We can open Prefs in Live, in Garage Band, but not Logic Express.)
i am out of idea......

Funny as I was turning crazy as I have just bought a new mac so new OSX and I was not able anymore to access my preferences in logic. Each time I want to open any of the preferences options, logic was simply freezing(crashing in a way!). I'm downloading at the moment the pro app 3.1 but I think I've already installed it.

My ipad 3 wont allow me to use any app that is 'updating' , im sure its frozen cos its been a week and still not finished updating. Worse part is,my uni assign is on pages and its due, and i can no longer access ANY doc on my ipad. I will fail my double unit for sure, destroy my gpa, and lose $5000 - the cost of the unit of study. Help fix this please.

hey, i really need help....my phone wont let me access any apps?its saying my password is in correct,however when i go on the laptop its fine. i would really appreciate some help
Try logging out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it and if you can then download apps.

The "help" is not accessing any info on Safari, Excel, Messages, etc.
When I try to access the "help", no info appears. It will show issues but not any info. The screen goes blank on my any Apple Mini. IOS 10.8.4
How do I restore it?Sometimes just closing and reopening the Help window will clear up the problem. If it doesn't, log out or restart the computer and try again. Otherwise, you may need to delete the Help cache.
Back up all data.

Hey bud, If you got the white screen of death and you're feelin blue and the normal reset doesnt work, why not try this:
Hold down the home button, keep it held down...
Hold down the volume UP button, keep it held down...
Hold down the sleep/wake button, keep it held down also (with your third hand)...
keep all three buttons held down for a few seconds, the screen will go black/white and then green like the devil was sick on it, then it should go black with the apple logo and the device should become useable again, may need to turn on/off, re-sync, charge etc.
I tried this and it worked when nothing else worked, even whisky.
I didn't work it out just dug it off the web after much frustration, no guarantees, but it cheered me up and now i can enjoy a beer!

It is white because something is wrong with the iPOd
Now to try to fix, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an hour try a reset.
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

Then, if necessary, connect to your computer and restore. -

Try this and see if it lets you access the iPad apps again.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If that works, backup the iPad like you should be doing so the message doesn't come back. -
My desk top is frozen, cant access any files
After multiple email issues, i was told to reinstall my operating system, which I have. All worked fine for about 24 hours. Now my desktop is frozen. I can move my mouse, but cannot open any files. This started when I was installing adobe photoshop.

Welcome to Apple Discussions. In case of further problems make sure you have a good back up of your personal files and data including Address Book, Bookmarks, Calendars, Documents, Music, Photos etc. Performing a clean install maybe the last resort if you haven't already done so. Meanwhile, try to relaunch Finder (cmd + alt + esc), repair permissions (Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.app) and deactivate (CS3 and above) then reinstall Photoshop (it can help to delete the entire Adobe support files first but note this will require reinstalling all Adobe products afterwards: Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Adobe/ and Users/Library/Application Support/Adobe/). Close all open applications before performing any of the above.
