Why is XMLRequest optional in non application sandbox?

Are there any plans to re-enable the webkit-disabled features at least for the non-application sandboxes? For example - if you have an iframe that is hosting a pure html5 application, then it would be nice to use the html5 application cache feature, this way we do not have to write custom code to use the air/flash version of persisted storage.
In other words: Is it in your roadmap to provide a sandbox that can run with all webkit features enabled? Such that a pure HTML5 app can be written and deployed on the web and via air.

Working with no application sandbox

I have an online website with some features.
I need to develop air based desktop application by accessing
some features of my online application.
I wenth through the available tutorials and came across non
application sandbox feature.
I installed Air SDK.
I created a directory structure as follows

application.xml
home.html
The css folder contains styles and images contains images and
js folder contains js files.
The remote folder contains
one.html,2.html,3.html
Home.html contains iframe

So home.html contains iframe whose src is one.html.
one.html contains login related files. And in the onLoad of
one.html i have to check whether user is logged in by checking
parentSandbox variable isLoggedIn if loggedin i have to redirect to
two.html if not display login screen(one.html).
If one.html displayed and user enters email id and password i
have to submit to my online application which is in PHP and
validate the user and get the return if success then set isLoggedIn
to true and redirect to two.html.
two.html contains link to three.html and three.html contains
link to say 4.html basically all are different forms when submitted
i have to submit through ajax and get the result.
I have some confusion here.
Instead of using one.html, two.html,three.html,... can i
directly access my online application pages using the iframe if yes
how to my online application is in php.
If i use the above said directory structure how to implement
the functionality like if user is logged in how to redirect
i can use window.document.location.href='....' but what is
the url for the is it of type app:/.... or else
Did anybody worked on this kinda application please guide me

You can directly access the online application -- if the user
is online, of course. The pages are sent by the server as HTML (you
couldn't, of course, load the php source into the iFrame). One
issue with your setup for this is that by setting the sandboxRoot
attribute to the root of your website, you can't actually access
the website. Instead of sandboxRoot="
http://xyz.com" use sandboxRoot="
http://xyz.com/air/" (or some
other dummy folder name). Otherwise AIR will look for all URLs from
xyz.com in your application's "remote" directory.

(assuming you added air to the sandboxRoot path). The part of the
url matching the sandboxRoot attribute is replaced with the string
in the documentRoot attribute.

If you only want the free apps, take a look here:

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

HT2534 I used a gift card visa and it's all used up how do I get it back to payment option as none?

I used a gift card visa for awhile for my payment option, well that card is now used up. I want to switch my payment option to "none" again but it's not letting me with the new iOS7. Anyone know how I can get it back?

Statspack: Segregation of non-application workload

Oracle 10.2.0.5.0 (32 bit)
Windows 2003 R2 Standard Edition
I have statspack running at 30 minute interval on this database. I am interested in finding details of the "physical write total bytes" part.
Statistic                                      Total     per Second    per Trans
physical write bytes                      25,444,352       14,135.8      2,276.7
physical write total bytes               121,980,928       67,767.2     10,914.5As one can see, the difference is huge (I am assuming the unit for "Total" column, for these statistic, is bytes).

Since you want to use a class that is not part of your EJB environment you cant access it.
Like you said your ELUWS14 class is part of your web project, most likely to be inside a war. And the session bean inside an ear.
If you need that class on both environments (session beans and web components) the best approach is to create a JAR file and include it there. If it is going to change a lot then the best approach is to have it on your ear (EJB side), and your web components should call the session beans method to invoke operations.
Your business rules should not access your presentation layer:
EJB -> Web components Not a good idea
EJB <-> Web components Not a good idea
EJB <- Web components This is the way to go
So, web components should access classes from the ear, and not viceversa. This is why containers make ear classes accesible to web component, and not in the other way

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
Did you follow the instructions on the HT2534 page that you posted from when you created the account (I've just tried the instructions and I got the 'none' option on a new account) ? If not then credit card details will need to be entered before the account can be used to download any item from the store. If you are trying to use a debit card then they are no longer accepted in all countries.

If not then you will need to create a new account, and use the instructions on that HT2534 page when creating it. Why was command-option-click functionality removed. Please bring back.

Can anyone fill me in on this issue.
I used to use command-option-click hundreds of times a day. Cleared out all windows and got me to the application I wanted to use. It is, apparently, gone in Mavericks.
I'd be interested to know why it was removed. I also want it back.
And, I'd llike it brought back with the functionality changes so that the application I make active with the command leaves the "hide" options in the Application pulldown menu active. My one complaint about the shortcut was that it grayed out the "hide" options so I had to click out of the application and back in to use them.
Please, please, I really want the shortcut!
