Why messages are stuckin SMQ2..

Dear all,
We have an interfaces where in all of them are having ABAP proxy in the reciever side. Many a times messages related to asyncrhonous interfaces are stuck on the ECC side in SMQ1 of ECC and getting piled up there.
But ..
1. Message content is small in size.
2. Messages has no data dependency.
Please tell me the reason why messages still stuck ? is this performance issue of ECC and how to resolve this issue permanantly ?

Hi Amar,
I think that would need some investigation based on interfaces/queues.
Monitor whether the high volume interfaces are getting locked or is it generic that most of the queues gets locked. Try to prioritize queues for high priority interfaces etc.
Check with you basis people whether the queues are getting locked due to other issues. I am sure there would be some trace or log for the reasons the queues are getting locked.
It might also due to conitnuous read of table or indefinite loop of table or something. Please investigate more.
If you are sure that it was caused due to performance issues, then you would need to do put up a plan and devise ways to reduce the load.

File >PI>ABAP proxy. (ECC)
Once i pick and process the file, the resultant message is updating the table in ECC through ABAP proxy. These messages are high priority and they should not stuck in the queues in ECC.
The problem is some of the messages of this interface are getting stucked in queues (SMQ2) by colliding with other low priority messages which are failed due to some data issues.
Is there any way I can separate these high priority messages into separate custom queue and process them?
Do I need to this in ECC or PI?

As Debashis has already said, use message prioritization in PI to handle your requirement.

Proxy messages are stucked in SMQ2 as scheduled status

Hi,
I am doing File(FCC) >PI 7.0>ABAP proxy. (ECC) Scenario.
Once i pick and process the file, the resultant message is updating the table in ECC through ABAP proxy. These messages are getting stucked in queues (SMQ2) in ECC. My message is not having much data , it is very less in size.
And there is no messages in Queue.
I register all queues in SMQR in PI and ECC.
Does I need to do any activity in ECC or PI? What could be a problem. Please suggest .

Are the messages stuck with any error?--> First I can see the Green Color Flag as scheduled status, I open the message I can see there is no error message.Bt when I have look at end of the message in SXMB_MONI at Q.Status , I can see Message Has error
In SMQ2 -->

Messages are stuck in SMQ2

Hi,
Our messages are stuck in SMQ2, and I think this is due to high volume of messages. I have configured the IS to allow the QRF_RESTART_ALLOWED to 1, and scheduled the RSQIWKEX job to run periodically. But, the messages are still stuck in SMQ2.
Does anyone know what are the next steps we should look into to solve this problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just try - go to SXMB_ADM->Manage Queues and Deregister all the Queues. Then go to SMQ2 and try to activate all the queues by selecting the each lines and with activate button.
Then re-register the queues in SXMB_ADM and chek it..
Problem may be because of workprocess related. Also check transaction ST22 for if any dump in XI box.
btw what is the scenario ? Is it because of huge message processing ?

SMQ2 queue is blocked and messages are in u201Cwaitingu201D status in RWB

A SMQ2 queue is blocked with XXX data and these messages are in u201Cwaitingu201D state in RWB.
What could be the reason?
Im sure its not because of the space because all the messages which flow after that was there in the directory.

Hi Mathangi,
double click on the queue and click on the first message which will direct to MONI
--> check what exactly the error is and try to resolve the error accordingly
if you are unable to do that
Right click on the first message and save LUV it will be saved in SMQ3
then unlock the queue and execute again it will process successfully..
later you can process the message which is saved

Messages are in waiting mode in SMQ2

Hello All,
I have plenty of messages in waiting mode of SMQ2. How do I release these messages from the queues.
The queue name starts with ABC* in SMQR and it is Registration mode.
Please let me know step by step solution and checklist

The queue ABC* is in CRM system and the messages are coming from PI. The queue ABC* has plenty of queue names with ABC123, ABV456, etc etc All these queues are having many messages in waiting mode. the messages are in waiting mode due to a communication failure from PI to CRM proxy. And now the comm failure is resolved but the messages need to be released from waiting mode in production. I need to know what do I do to release these messages from the queues. All these ABC* queues are registered. The unlock queues didn't work.
Wjhat is the usual approach when we face this kind of situation. I am sure this is an usual situation in PI CRM interfaces.

I also notice that each contact says iCloud in it twice, but when I go to iCloud.com, there are no duplicates either. Help..

Try Contacts>Preferences...>Accounts...remove {-}/re-add {+}your iCloud account.
If that is not successful, follow the steps listed in iCloud: Troubleshooting iCloud Contacts.

Why old message are still in the mail queue

Why some messages are not processing

I have scene in AQ table some of the messages are in PROCESSED status
and some of the messages in UNDELIVERABLE status.
This is the data in the AQ table for undelivarable messages.
MSG_STATE          RETRY_COUNT    EXPIRATION_REASON
UNDELIVERABLE         -1                   PROPAGATION_FAILURE
UNDELIVERABLE         -1         Messages to be cleaned up later
Why some of the messages were processed and some of the messages were undelivarable.
What are the reasons and how to solve this issue.

In some situations that indicate application errors in queue-to-dblink propagations, Oracle Streams AQ marks messages as UNDELIVERABLE and logs a message in alert.log.
Examples of such errors are :
* when the remote queue does not exist
or
*when there is a type mismatch between the source queue and the remote queue.
The trace files in the background_dump_dest directory can provide additional information about the error.

Depends on the receiver. They can set their read receipt to on and you will get read on your end when they actually open up the message app to read it. If they have read receipts set to off then all you will get is a delivered even if they read it.

What you have there is either a jailbroken unit with some crazy custom UI or an eastern knockoff. Give us some photos of the ipad itself, mainly the back and some experts can help.
If you plug it into iTunes does iTunes even acknowledge that an ipad is connected? If it does then try a restore.
Failing that, head down to an apple store and see what they can do for you.
