Wierd message when program exits

every time I exit my program the consol outputs this phantom message:
Java2D Direct3D usage disabled by J2D_D3D env
However, the problem is, when I try debugging my program and put a marker on the System.exit(0), I dont find anything, and actually the message does NOT appear when I debug. Only when I run the program normally, and exit.
This message doesn't affect my program but I was just curious if anyone else has seen something like this or knows where it might be comming from.

I am using the Quit LabVIEW vi and am getting the Save/Don't Save/Cancel dialog each time the operator quits the program. The reason is objects on the screen have been resized. The vi properties for window appearance are scroll bars off. This is a base development package so the program runs in the environment. The best way to do this is by incorporating a source code control depository. Set your LabVIEW.ini options to configure the source code control and to treat read only vi's as locked. Edits will only be allowed if the code is checked out of source code control and that prevents the operator moving or resizing the FP objects accidentally. You should not allow your operators to make code changes! Operators operate, developers edit code. It is common to have operators who are also developers BUT, the functions must be kept separated.
What I mean is that the user is either trying to make the code do what it needs to do (developing - so code changes are desirable.) OR the user is trying to use the code to do its intended function (operating - so code change is not just undesirable, it is BAD!)
The pop-up is not just annoying, it indicates that code control does not exist! You need better logistics to prevent code maintenance headaches of biblical proportions.

Relay Stuck ON when program exited or crashed

Hi
So I got my USB-6211 turning on and off a relay that controls a valve. It works great, but I have one last problem. I would like for the valve to shut off (I/O line = false) should the program loose contact with the USB-6211. Right now, it seems that it stays in whatever state it was in when the program is improperly exited, has crashed or whatever. Is there a way to be sure that my tank won't overfill if the program goes south?

What Mr. Lynn suggested is the ideal solution. However, would it be possible to add a level float with a switch to your tank that can open the circuit to the valve. Thus when the level is reached, the flow is automatically stopped regardless of the state of the program or digital output.

Error message when program is idle

Regarding PSE 8 for Mac: I have PSE open, but minimized and no files open. Frequently a dialog appears that says "could not complete your request because of a program error". What could be causing this?

I have also seen this once on my Windows machine but it disapeard without any efforts from my side.... I guess, it was due to bad state of my macine.

Wierd Message When Opening .exe file

Our Call Center is using Captivate 4 for CBT purposes. We have been using our current .exe files without any problems until now. In one of our training rooms, 3 different PCs are having troubles opening the .exe files. I get a message saying "Initializing LMS". I did not set up our CBT to report anything to an LMS nor do we have an LMS. This is the first time i've seen this and we have used this same CBT for about a yr now. I am attaching a screenshot of what we see. Also, there are several boxes that populate as well. They seem to look like text boxes that shouldn't be there. HELLLLP!

Were these EXE files by chance created usng the aggregator application?

Get error message when exiting premier Pro wont save file

I am getting an error message when I exit adobe premier pro it wont save the file and the program locks up. I even uninstalled an reloaded the program CS5.5 vrs. still get the same error can anyone help?

You have not provided any system information or other technical details, so we can't know anything. Either way, ask in the Premiere Pro forum.

SunStudio debugger session exits when program finished

I'm running SunStudio 12 on a Ultra 25 with one or more projects opened.
Usually the debugging session was still available when the program execution ended.
Now, for some reason, the debugging session also exit when finishing the program.
I have to start a new dbx session after that.
A colleague of mine can debug the same executable,
but his debugging session is still available when finishing program execution.
I'm not aware of that I changed something.
Also I couldn't find any option in SunStudio that I might set wrong.
How do I come back to the previous behavior?

To control this "feature" ....
From the main menu choose Tools->Options
Select the Miscellaneous category
Turn Debugging Options
Select the Session Startup panel.
Check No for "Finish Debug Session When Program Exits.
NOTE: This property is not available in SunStudio 12 FCS, but
is available either in the later MultiLingual release and/or patches.
(I.e. what you colleague has :-)

Same here with the message and I'm on a brand new system:
new macpro, new mavericks, new photoshop CC and havent done a thing yet.
Tried all found solutions:
-generator on/off
-sniffer on/off
-GPU on/off
-300x exit prefs etc
-re-install PS
-list-view
-pushing my belly button
But nothing helps.
I tried a little work in PS (render/save etc) and that all seems to work
BUT....sniffer states:

I was able to follow your directions and delete almost everything. I couldn't find a PSE 4 path folder. I deleted the com.adobe.Photoshop.Elements.plist and opera preferences. Repaired permissions and restarted computer.
Still had the same error message when trying to "Save As" a PSD to a jpg. I can save for the Web which is a jpg (but not good enough for printing.)
Maybe I'll reinstall.
I'm not having trouble with any other programs. Can't recall having added anything to PSE recently, though if this is the culprit, it might be something I did months ago (though I don't know what) because I haven't tried saving as a jpg in a long time.
I've been saving my documents as a tiff file. Could that be a cause? I've converted some of these tiff files to PSD and still get the error message.

Windows 7 displays error message when exiting +cursor issue

Two issues here. CS5 Phoshop on Wind 7 64 bit.
Physical processor count: 8
Processor speed: 3073 MHz
Built-in memory: 12279 MB
Free memory: 9577 MB
Memory available to Photoshop: 10934 MB
Memory used by Photoshop: 80 %
Image tile size: 128K
First issue is since the latest automatic Adobe update (why fix what isn't broken?) Every time I now exit Photoshop I get the message "Adobe QT Server has stoped working" and occasionally it happens when I exit bridge. Indesign is also behaving badly. I can no longer start a previous document from file manager without ID crashing out.
The other is the cursors in Clone and erase lose their edge (become invisable) for no reason - well not quite. Noise Ninja crashed Photoshop when I tried to use it. I reinstalled it and all is well. The cursor issue seems to be intermittant but came back (for no reason) after I reinstalled NN. I can't seem to change the cursor, no matter what I do. The problem is now seriously affecting how I work. Almost enough to go back to Win XP which ran CS5 Photoshop flawlessly.
Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Well, that issue is simply a matter of hitting the Caps Lock key. When Caps Lock is on, you'll see the cursor outline, and when it is off you'll see a crosshair. That's a feature, not a bug.
Glad to hear the 11.1 drivers are out. I will download them and try them now myself.
Regarding "Adobe QT" crashing... QT brings to mind QuickTime, though that is Apple, not Adobe. Do you have Apple QuickTime installed?
Regarding memory usage, with 12 GB of installed RAM, you should be able to set Photoshop to use 90% or more in Edit - Preferences - Performance.

Can't get itunes. I get the following message when I click on either the shortcut or the program. It says ITunes has stopped working and I can either check on line for a solution and close the program or just close the program.

I have Citrix VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) Implemented
in my company and installed few Applications on App Server lets say.... MS Office 2013, filzialla, putty, etc...
I assigned these apps to the users through CITRIX STUDIO, when I try to use these apps. on VDI everything is working fine only when i tried to open Word, Excel or Powerpoing, outlook it throws error as

As mentioned in ths article below, run for Office 365 products on to a Remote Desktop Session Host server is not supported. You can install Office products for Office 365 to a virtual desktop, but the virtual desktop must be assigned to a single user.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?
