I dropped my IPHONE 4 into the toilet it is still under the 1 year warrenty my carrier is AT& T and I have insurance on it also. My cituations is I've put it in rice and I shook it to hopefully get all od the water out - my screen comes on but is is blinking from bright to dim then no screen. It is saying NO SIM & It will not allow me to go into my settiings or any of the apps. I plan to take it into the AT & T store in the morning and find out if they will replace it or fix it? My fingers are crossed and I'm praying

To return an iOS product requires a valid receipt. You have 30 days to return an iPhone. The iPhone must have all original packaging & accessories and be in new condition. Apple may charge a restocking fee on a returned iPhone.
If the iPhone was bought from a 3rd party, their regulations for returns would apply.

Bought online from whom? I assume NOT from Apple, since in order to get an AT&T locked phone, you would have to purchase from the US Apple Store, meaning you would be in the US and would not need to use a network like Rogers.
No, you can not exchange a phone you bought on the gray market for anything.
AT&T offers unlocking now. Call them and find out if the phone qualifies. If it does, then they will unlock it.
WARNING: Jailbreaking/hacking an iPhone can permanently alter it. It may not be possible now to legitimately unlock it.
If you bought it from e-bay, etc. and it was recently enough, return it for a refund. If it was advertised as unlocked, then the seller misrepresented it.

Replacements are same model, size, and color. 99.9999999% of the time there is no exception and the exception is always Apple's decision. This has only ever happened when Apple does not have sufficient quantities of service units for replacement of a specific model.
Apple does not offer "upgrades" or exchanges during the warranty replacement part. If you want a newer model, you must purchase it at full retail (or subsidized price from your carrier if you qualify).

You can look for 3rd party repair shops, but they will also be using non OEM parts.

Iphone has a dead pixel, will apple exchange for a new one?

I just noticed a dead pixel on the center of iphones display. The pixel is tiny but my eyes keeps fixating on them and its annoying. What should I do?

They will replace it, they have reserves for replacement that often the manager is the only one aware of. I had the same problem and it drove me NUTS! The manger replaced it with his emergency secret stash. I feel so much better now and my new one is perfect. That one pixel in the middle of the screen was so annoying!

Try a soft reset, press and hold both power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release both. If still no joy, go into Settings>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings. If still no joy, back up your iPod to your computer then do a Restore to Backup, if that doesn't work Restore to new through iTunes. If a full restore to new does not work, you may have a hardware issue, contact Apple Genius Bar to have your iPod evaluated. Good luck, Cheers.

Exchange will not sync with any iPad or iPhone

I am running a 2003 exchange environment.
PST's are NOT allowed.
Users are running iPhone/iPad with iOS 6.
Issue: Calender events created on a computer, on the exchange users profile, will not show up on any iOS device.
Noticed the following: The events that didn't show up all had external users that were NOT part of the global address book.
Has anyone noticed this in their environment?

The only way to make the inbox on the iphone back to 0 is to delete the account then re install it.

My iPhone 4 was purchased in May 2012, brand new, from my local AT&T store. Since then, I've been having minor problems with it such as my messages crashing out when I open it or my phone randomly turning off and then turning back on, but that has never bothered me highly or been a problem. It's something that happens seldomly. But just recently I've been having big problems with my phone - charging. I can charge my phone on any computer with my USB cord, but my wall charger just will not work at all. I know it's my phone acting up because my wall chager + usb cord are BRAND new. I've Google'd different things about this problem and tried to figure out why it's doing this and if there are any solutions, but I'm thinking maybe my phone is just defected.... so I decided it's best to go to the Apple store and talk to them about it in person. Before I go though, I want to know if I will be able to get another iPhone 4 (maybe a 4S? haha) because I do not want to waste my time going there, returning my phone, and then leaving with nothing OR going there, leaving with my phone and having no solution to my problem. If I go there with this phone, then I want to leave out either with this same phone and a solution to fixing it or just get a whole new phone. It's been 7 months since I've had this phone, and I wasn't expecting this to happen. I hate charging it on my computer all the time. So will the Apple store do a free trade in/return or something? I do not want to ask for hundreds of dollars for another new phone (I'm 16, so my parents will have to pay.... not happening).

make sure you back up everything as if you exchange your iPhone will go and the Genius bar do not provide a backup service
