Will the 4404 Controller support Office Extend

According to the The Software release bulletin
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/wireless/ps6302/ps8322/ps10315/product_bulletin_c25-530367_ps10315_Products_Bulletin.html
We just purchased a 4404 controller. The document above states 4404 controllers have the capability to be upgraded to the new 6.0 software which supports Office extend. Does anyone have any idea whether it will be possible to purchase a wplus (wireless plus) license to enable office extend on a 4404 controller?
Thanks

Regarding Office Extend is a new "feature" with the new 5508 controller running the new IOS, 6.X and Office Extend license. No one as yet knows if the Office Extend feature will be extended to the WLC200/2100, 4400 or the WiSM. I am suspecting that because Office Extend is a license feature, I have no doubt that this will be exclusive to the 5508.
Because the 5508 can AP support license can support 25, 50, 100 and 250, anticipate the End-Of-Sale announcement of the WLC 2100 and the WLC 4400.

It does...  I saw a photo of the relevant slide that was put up during the iOS 6 announcement, but am too lazy to look for it now.
It's possible it may not have made it into the final release. Apple never made any statements about it as far as I know beyond the slide referenced.
Near the end of the iOS portion of the keynote, Apple showed a slide listing a host of other features included in the iOS 6 update. Among those were Game Center challenges, the ability to connect Game Center friends from Facebook, VoiceOver improvements, personal dictionary in iCloud (for adding your own terms to the dictionary, which can sync between devices), and per-account signatures in Mail. Also on the list was improved privacy, which—as a new option in Settings—will let you control which apps can access which bits of personal data, like your Contacts, Calendar, or Photos. Other features on the list included autocorrection for every keyboard,Bluetooth MAP support (which is commonly used to help cars better offer hands-free communication with Bluetooth devices), kernel ASLR (which aims to make data even more impervious to snooping from malicious attackers), custom vibrations for alerts, redesigned stores (for the App and iTunes stores), IPv6 support for Wi-Fi and LTE, word highlights for speak selection, improved keyboard layouts, alarms with songs, and faster JavaScript in Safari. Apple also says iOS 6 includes a global HTTP proxy option, which would supplant the current approach, limited as it is to per-connection proxy settings."

    No.
(I'd put the link up but I think Verizon would delete/edit my post).
From a New York Time's piece, "It was Apples decision to design the iPhone 5 so that customers could only make voice calls and do Internet activity simultaneously only over Wi-Fi, not over Verizon cell network."
    The reason why...
"The explanation for this, it turns out, is complicated. The technology  in 4G LTE networks does not currently handle voice transmissions; it  only does data. So when you place a phone call on a 4G LTE smartphone,  it’s actually rolling back to the carrier’s older second- or  third-generation network, according to AnandTech, a Web publication that  does deep analysis on hardware."

How will the Time Capsule support IPv6 and coop with the new emerging security threats that will emerge due to the new technical possibilities that IPv6 provide?

    Cross your fingers and hope.
Obviously if there is any big or known threat Apple will send out a firmware fix.
But the TC is designed to be end user simple device. It has no firewall that is visible at any rate. I don't know that it truly doesn't have a firewall but it is not part of the end user controls.
IMO if you have major security concerns that go beyond end device firewall, which is where Apple do put most of the security, since firewall in the router is plainly not a stop to anybody deliberately downloading an infected file or website, and most end users.. do not want a firewall that prevents them using the web like a business does, where only certain ports are allowed. Everything else tough luck.. you are not allowed to use it. Then TC is unsuitable for you anyway.. buy a proper firewall appliance.

Will the new iPad support Java?

The support would come from the new Operating System rather than the hardware itself, so the question really is does iOS 4.3 support it ... and the answer is no, I'm afraid. None of the add-ins (Java, Flash, Silverlight) can be added.

It may work, but then again it may not. Depending on some of the above answers.
Basically there's too many vairables for a single defnitive answer. Be a little more specific with the details and you may get a less vague answer.

  • When will the PS3 fully support the PS4 controller?

The PS4 controller is recognized by Steam as a PS4 controller, but when connected to the PS3 it's recognized as a common "wireless controller"...how come? The controller doesn't vibrate and the PS button won't work (cable or wireless doesn't matter, it's the same) Aren't you going to fix this already?

    GraphiteGB ha scritto:
Likely never... As the games were NEVER built to support the input signals from DS4 any way so will malfunction...Every game would need a repatch to support the controller... and that won't happen... as Publishers won't pay for it..  The DS4 is a next gen Controller... Not even USB compatable with PS3 as games won't support that USB controller... Lots of functions don't even work on $3,000 PCs set up and the functions that do work were only reverse engineered by Fans but functions still remain disabled even on those devices... as they remain incompatable drivers... And any way the DS3 remians CHEAPER than the DS4 and fully functions on the PS3 it was designed for...The DS4 BT only driver is not supported buy all games, only the DS3 BT driver profile is...     Couldn't they make the PS3 recognize it as a PS3 controller? You can do it easily on PC, emulate an Xbox 360 controller using a PS3 one etc, so that every game automatically works just fine. It's not that they can't, it's that they just don't care... You can take a look at the PS3's software, it's clear that they don't. (PS Store and other problems) Also, I never said I hated the PS3 controller (which is much more durable than the PS4 one), but after playing with the DS4 I find it really hard to get used again to the DS3, the DS4's feeling is just unique! Think of it in this way:I own a PS3 and a PS4. Isn't it stupid that I can't play Tekken together with a friend? And that I need to buy another PS3 controller if I want to?

  • Will this API eventually support Office 365 and other hosted Lync Services?

I just noticed in the intro forum post that this SDK only supports on-prem Skype installations. I was hoping to use the SDK against an Office 365 install. Is it in the roadmap for this SDK to support hosted Skype? Are there any estimate timeframes you can
    share with us?
    Many thanks,
    James.

I'm having this exact same issue.
Have you seen this thread? https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5252673?start=45&tstart=0
I'm on Exchange 2013, which I manage, and Mavericks.  I also noticed you can see a "Linked Contact" on OWA 2013.
This is just more of the extremely poor Apple software engineering we have seen over the last few years...

  • Will the iPhone 5 support video out

Any word on if the iPhone 5 will support video out

From what I have read after a brief Google session, the iPhone 5 has no viable hardwired method of video output. There are no Lightning to HDMI adapters, only the legacy 30-pin adapters allow HDMI or even composite video output. The available Lightning adapters DO NOT support video output. So, those of us who rely upon cables to facilitate video output from our phones to an external display are just plain out of luck. Thanks a lot for alienating your customers in a new way, Apple! We don't all have the luxury of having WiFi and an Apple TV at our disposal everywhere we go. It is hoped that you are working on a cabling option for Lightning that will allow video out. Why on earth would you tote the "digital" nature of your new adapter and then cripple it by not allowing video output?!?!

  • What video cards will the p7-1423w support?

I would like to upgrade my video graphics to something that will support Witcher 2.  I picked up a video card but then realized the power consumption is too great for this pc.  Any suggestions on what card I can get that will support this type of graphics?  (It is a windows 8 machine if that makes any difference.)
    Thanks!

    Hello Leach69,
There are two things to consider when purchasing a video card. The slots that are available in your computer and the power supply that is already in the computer. If you are looking to play modern games you are going to need a good video card, as you already know. I would suggest that you also consider upgrading your power supply to something that provides more power so that you can use that card that does use more power consumption.
Upgrading the power supply is also going to give you the freedom to do other upgrades in the future if you choose to do so. The power supply that is currently in your computer is only 300w from what I can tell, this means you are going to be extremely limited.
I'd suggest upgrading your power supply to something around a 550w - 600w then you can get just about any video card you want as long as you have the slot for it.
