  • Photoshop CS5.1 crashes when trying to open Manage Custom Sizes in print window. Help??

    I have OS 10.10.2.  When printing and trying to access the "Manage Custom Sizes" in the print window, my Photoshop CS5.1 crashes.  I have not had problems up until now.  Not sure what changed. Can anyone help me figure this out?

    A preferences reset should fix it.
    Macintosh - CMD-SHIFT-OPTION immediately after you double-click the PS icon.
    Release those keys when you see the Delete Photoshop Settings dialog. Click "Yes" to do this.
    You may have to go into the CS5 application folder and directly double-click the Photoshop.app there.

  • Photoshop CS5 crashes when attempting to "Manage Custom Sizes" in Epson r3000 printer dialogue window

    I'm trying to print a gallery wrap image on an Epson R3000 printer using 13" wide Epson roll canvas. Every time I select "Manage Custom Sizes" in the printer's dialogue window, Photoshop CS5 crashes. I've been using Photoshop software for more than 15 years with a variety of Epson printers including Stylus Pro 7600 and this problem has never occurred previously. I can't seem to find a solution. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance!

    That means that there is a bug in your Epson printer driver.

  • How to set custom size of Close Button e.g. 32x32  of Title Window in Flex 4

    How to set custom size of Close Button e.g. 32x32 of Title Window in Flex 4?

    Hi
    Here is the code of the Button in the skin class of spark title window.
    <s:Button id="closeButton" skinClass="spark.skins.spark.TitleWindowCloseButtonSkin"
                              width="15" height="15" right="7" top="7" />
    So first change the default height and width from 15 to 32. Then in the Button Skin class i.e. spark.skins.spark.TitleWindowCloseButtonSkin change paths to modify the cross symbol.
    Hope this helps

  • Printing custom sizes on HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus from Macbook Pro

    I am having trouble setting up a Word Document (Word for Mac 2011) to print in a custom size on my HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus.  I'm using a Macbook Pro running Yosemite.
    I would like to print on a card stock that is 4.5 in x 13.5 in.  I have tried under Page Setup to create a custom size under Manage Custom sizes, however, I'm hitting a brick wall.  The printer gets the job but can not feed the paper.  I've also tried to set my default paper size under my System Preferences/Printers and Scanners to be this size...still not working.
    Please help!

    Hi @klinecard
    It is important to ensure the paper size you are selecting is a supported size, and make sure the weight is supported too.
    Printer Specifications for the HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Series Printer Series
    Please look under paper handling.
    If your desired size and weight is supported, you might find the following helpful; Create Custom Paper Sizes in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X
    Truthfully, since you are not getting an error message, I suspect you have correctly setup the custom size, this issue is most likely the printers inability to feed the paper you are using.

  • Problem printing custom size document

    I am trying to print a custom size document (4.4"x7.2") that I created in Microsoft Word.  I have set the Page size in Word, tried to create a custom size page in my Printer, and am unable to select this paper size in the properties of my printer (using the control panel).  I am at a loss at how to eliminate the "Paper Mismatch" error.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.  (I have two other size papers I need to generate documents for as well...4.4"x6.2"  and 4.4"x8.2")
    Thanks!

    Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
    I doubt I will get any thanks for this; some days are just like that.  Smiling.
    While there are several instances where the Specification Sheet is actually in error and Windows does support Custom sizes for some printer models in a similar printer class, I do believe that in the case of THIS printer model, the specs are correct:  Only Mac OS supports Custom paper sizes.
    More simply said:  You cannot get there from here.
    You are likely stuck with the paper sizes supported by the printer as specified in that Spec sheet.
    I could not find the necessary file  Create Custom Paper Sizes in Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS X  for YOUR printer model that one would expect to see in the How-to Support pages if the "Custom" paper sizes are supported for Windows.
    I could be wrong -- I have been wrong before.   I do not mind being wrong if it means you get what you need.
    If you had something even close to what is allowed, you might be able to select something from the list, adjust the paper in the printer and try to get away with it by adjusting the Printing Preferences.

    Hello there, Welcome to the Forums! I hope you enjoy your experience
    I saw your post about trying to print on a custom paper size. Below is a link to the printer specifications for your Officejet 7110. Please check the specs to see if the printer supports the size you are trying to use.
    The second link below is instructions on how to add an alternate print driver that might give you the option to print in custom sizes. I suggest trying it out to see if that helps!

  • Borderless printing in custom sizes

    I'm working on an HP 2575 with Windows 7
    I need to print borderless at custom sizes - the main one being 125x250mm.
    I understand that this isn't a pre-programmed option but somehow in the past I have managed to create a template in print properties that does exactly what I want! Now I have a new size that I need  (144x288mm) and I have tried to configure the settings many different ways but it's always printing with a 3mm blank border.
    I have rang Hp who can't help unless I pay for tech support and then they don't guarantee a solution so I thought I'd see if anyone else had a similar problem or workaround for me?
    Many thanks.

    This question is Not Answered....
    "ummm".... Simply trying to help.
    I used A4 as an example because that's what I was doing at the time, on my A4 printer - not my HPDesignjet 130nr, which is 600mm wide, on a roll!

  • How do I do a custom size paper?

    I am trying to print my wedding invitations on paper that is 10x6.5 and keep getting an error message from the printer that the paper does not match the selected size.  The size I need is not an option and there is not an option for a custom size.  Is there any way to create a custom size?  I already purchased all of my stationary.  Thanks!

    There is a workaround.
    Install an alternate driver by going to this post, How to Assign Alternate Print Drivers in Different Versions of Windows.
    Once that is installed you can do a custom print size, Create Custom Paper Sizes.

  • HP 5000GN Custom size problem

    I've asked this before a while back and didn't get any response so I'm giving it another shot!
    I have a HP 5000GN printer, I'm running on Windows 7 32. All of the documentation says that I should be able to print to sheets of 12 x 18 paper if I do it out the back of the printer. I've tried adding the custom size (although the manual says that there is a default setting of "Tabloid Extra" that doesn't seem to appear). If I print to PDF, the custom sizes that I have added show up in the drop down selection box and work just fine, but as soon as I select the laser printer, those custom choices disappear. Any advice on how I can get my printer to print to this size?

    Hi.
    Try this:
    function myOpen(){
    var newWindow = window.open('','myPage.do');
    newWindow.resizeTo(150,250);
    onClick=myOpen();
    Or if you are using uix:
    function myOpen(){
    var newWindow = openWindow(window,
    'myPage.do',
    'lovWindow', true, 'newWindow');
    newWindow.resizeTo(150,250);
    onClick=myOpen();

  • Can't print custom size on Mac os 10.3.9.

    Recently set up my new Epson 1400 printer but find it doesn't want to print any custom sizes.
    Thought it was a printer error but was told that it may be something to do with the mac/program i am using. I'm working on Adobe Illustrator CS2... when i go to print then page set up I can set up the custom size needed ( 30cm-80cm ) on the untitled option, thinking all is going well i look on the print preview it looks exactly how i want it set up ready to go but it will only print Super A3 size even though i have told it not to. A little look closer on the main print page i can see that although the measurements are stored in there, they are not highlighted and neither is the custom button, i'm sure this is the reason why i can't get it to print the longer length needed, can anyone help me, its driving me mad???? thanks.

    I'm using Tiger, but it may be the same in Panther.
    Open the Page Setup window. In the *Format for* block there may be two choices available by clicking the arrows : Any Printer or your Epson. Select your Epson & you may have more choices for sizes.

  • Printing custom size prints

    I am having trouble printing custom size photos on regular size paper. I use the custom scale setting in the layout dialog box. However, the result does not match the requested size in the preview window and it does not print the requested size. For example I would like to scale a photo to print 4x10 on a 8/12X11 sheet of paper. When I custom scale to 4x10 the result is 4 high but 7.5 wide. Any help would be appreciated? I'm printing on an HP 9180.

    Have you cropped the photo to your desired 4x10 aspect ratio? If you do that, then the only printing part of the photo is that portion you've chosen in your crop. Then in the print dialog, you can tell it to print to 8.5x11 and set the margins there to .5 inch in order for it to scale to 10". Or have you done all this already?

  • Custom Size Paper - Last Resort

    I'm using a Mac G4 PowerPC with OS X10.04 with an Epson Stylus Photo 2000P.
    I'm trying to use the Page Set-U menu in PhotoShop to print a custom document size 12x12 inches. The printer is capable of printing 13x19 in color. In the Page Set-Up menu I go to custom page size. I set up a new custom size file with the new size thand the margins and name the custom size. It shows up at the left under the customer file name. However, when I go back to Page Set-up and go to Paper size, my new customer size is listed at the bottom of all the Epson established custom-sized paper list, but the file name is in gray, not black, so cannot be selected.
    A hint might be that in the user defined area of the custom size window, I cannot get the Epson 2000P printer to show up. The only printer that will show is my Epson 5700i laser printer. The Epson 200P is my default printer in the Printer Setup Utilize window. Of course the 5700i will not print in color nor will it print 12x12. Is there a way I can get my Epson 2000P printer to show up in the user defined area? Maybe that's why my new custom size title does not appear as usable on paper size under the Print Setup.
    I talked at length with Epson. After trying all they could, obviously with no success, they said it must be a software issue. I can print all the other various sizes available in the Page listed on the Page Size under the Page Set-Up menu so they show in black, but not the custom size I developed that shows only in gray.
    I then called Apple, and was told they no longer support my computer. Thanks a lot Apple. I guess this is now my only option.
    Any help would sincerely be appreciated. Thank you very much if you can help me solve this issue.

    Hi - I'm not sure which printer you have or which application you're printing from, but your printer likely has a custom paper size setting.  In whatever application you're printing from, go into Print, select your printer and then choose Properties.  Depending on your printer, there will likely be an option for a customer paper size, where you can specify the size.  You might also go into Page Setup in your application and see if there is a customer paper size option in there as well.
    Hope that helps.

    HI Ohhh Kaye,
    This may not help you since I'm not using a macOS.  I'm running windows 7 with PS 2014.2.2.  However the problem seems similar.  I found this workaround on photoshop.com where people using windows and OSx versions were reporting the issue for well over a year.
    It appears one trigger for this problem is when reusing older photoshop files.  These older Photoshop files have older print settings saved within them.  If your printer driver is newer/changed since the file was made and/or your Photoshop version is newer than when it was created it appears to cause a crash when trying to enter printer driver settings to change them.
    The workaround that worked for me:  Open the old photoshop file.  Jot down the dimensions.  Create a new file w/same dimensions.  Arrange your workspace to "2-up vertical" or something that allows you to see both files at once.  Select all layers on the old file and drag to the new file.  Close the old file.  Align all your layers and content to the new file (keep all layers selected).  Then save the new file.  Now choose print, and then choose print settings.   It should not crash this time. And it will be fine the next time you open it.  That is if this workaround will work for both operating systems and errors anyway. (might not)   Worth a try if you are really trying to print something directly from photoshop.  Otherwise export a pdf and print that.
    Hope it works for you OSX people too.
