the installer sudenly requiers divice drivers.
When i insert the bootcamp drivers i downloaded, he doesn't accept them.
Do you know what drivers I need to download ?
Thanks.

valid Windows 7 DVD burned from an .iso.
Usually burned ISO to DVD only works when burn speed is set to slowest.
Otherwise there are a number of problems with the install failing to do proper install, sometimes not even booting to start the install. Trouble is from using Apple Disk Utility. Burned in Windows, the ISO will be fine. Using Disk Utility at slowest has become "try reburn again at reduced speed."
You can use mouse on startup to eject DVDs but what you want is your drivers later after Windows is installed, and have them on USB flash or something.
you don't need any drivers except in a few cases (MacBook Air that lacks DVD and uses USB-DVDs)

  • How to get windows 7 drivers after installing

please suggest me how to install win7 and then how to install driver for that

    Items you will need:
    1. Genuine Windows 7 disk, Home Premium, Professional, or Ultimate, 32-Bit or 64-Bit. Click HERE for a list of computers that are compatible with 64-Bit versions of Windows 7.
    2. A USB disk or burnable CD, for installing the drivers.
You will be creating what is called a BootCamp partition on your HD. This utility called BootCamp Assistant (which you can access in your Applications>Utilities folder) will assist you in downloading the Windows 7 drivers, burning them to a CD, or USB drive. It will then partition your drive for you (you can select the size you want for Windows ex: 60GB, 120GB ect...), and install Windows with little input needed from you. It really is a easy, and convenient tool. Hope I could clear things up for you!

  • Windows 8 asks for media drivers during install

I have a 2009 Macbook intel 2.26 core dual with 4 gigs of ram and Mountain Lion installed. I downloaded and burned to a DVD the full (not preview release or beta) Windows 8 from MSDN. Boot Camp creates the partiion then restarts, after the intial set up begins a pop up window asks for media drivers. I used Browse but could not find any. I am thinking that Windows 8 can't find the media drivers for the DVD super drive? Any ideas on how to resolve this. Should I use a usb flash drive instead?

    It is 2015
"Go back to 7" is absolutely not an acceptable response. I've had this exact same problem for years and now in running the Windows 10 Tech Preview which compounds the issue by forcing broken drivers through Windows Update.
In a few months you will have THOUSANDS of customers upgrading to 10 who will be left with broken machines because YOU are too lazy to support them.

  • Windows 7 hangs during install on HP Pavilion a Media Center 1320n

Windows XP Media is currently on machine.  I tried to install Windows 7 Ultimate Edition.  When the computer rebooted the installation would hang during the complete installation.  I tried several times and the same thing happened.  I reformated the hard drive and tried to install the same OS using a USB flash drive and got the same results.  I reformatted again and tried to install Windows Vista Ultimate Edition and got the same results.  The only OS I can install on this machine is Windows XP.  Can anyone tell me what needs to be done to install Windows 7.
I upgraded the Bios with version 3.24 before I began the installation.

Another update in case anyone might be having the same problem..  Found out what the problem is.. But still have not resolved it.. I did another fresh install of Win7. Joined the domain and rebooted.  When it came back up I checked the network and sharing center.  It is showing "Identifying".  Start> Run> firewall.cpl .  It is showing Public network as my current connection. I unplugged my network cable and plugged it back in.  It now shows domain network. Log offs work fine.  After reboot it goes back to doing the same thing.  I tried with both DHCP and a static IP.  Both ways, same problem. So it works fine if the location is set to domain network but not to public (which i guess it automatically puts it in to if it cant identify the network).  Sometimes it will go to work network.  Logoffs take roughly 30 seconds compared to 8 min. on a public network or 2 seconds on a domain network.
We do have a group policy that disables security center.  It will disable the firewall and other features when it is set to domain network.  But not for the work or public locations.
The other policy we have in place is for Kerberos.  Kerberos is disabled by default in windows 7 but is needed for our SAP to work.  When we run a packet sniffer on the machine it is showing a lot of back and forth traffic with our DC and the protocol just shows Kerberos.  So my next test is to remove the GPO for Kerberos and see if that makes a difference.
The funny thing is; I have a Precision 380 sitting right aside of it. Running Windows 7, joined to the same domain, connected to the same switch, in the same OU and it doesnt have a problem..

  • Lenovo S400 Windows XP Drivers needed

Hello can I use the Windows 7 drivers to install Windows XP on Lenovo Ideapad S400?
Or can I Download anywhere the XP Drivers?

    hi Napkid,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Windows XP drivers are not listed under support site for this model.
If you really want to push for Windows XP you will need to get those manually from Manufacturers.
You can check device's Hardware ID under Device Manager to identify the brand and model.
Then look it up online for driver download

  • Audigy 4 gives blue screen during install of drivers on Windows XP SP3

FAudigy 4 gives blue screen during install of drivers on Windows XP SP3! Specs
    Asus a8n-sli
    GB RAM
    6600 GT
    Audigy 4
    LC Power 550 W PSU
I put in the installation CD that comes with the card. I want to install everything (full install), and mid-install I get a blue screen.
I then uninstalled everything and tried only to install the updated drivers from the website in safe-mode and still a blue screen. Should I get the dump file and send it to Creative?
How do get this card to work like it should? I also have a remote control that came together with the card.
Im currently using the onboard AC97 Realtek ALC850 soundcard.
Whats the whole procedure to make this work? Detailed please. How do I eliminate all traces of the audigy on my PC?

Re: Audigy 4 gives blue screen during install of drivers on Windows XP SP38 Perhaps you'd want to read this old thread of mine about my misadventures with the same exact card you are trying to use. IMHO that card was not worth the time and money I spent on it (even even less the time and money it caused me to spend afterwards to repair the damage it caused.

  • Windows 7 won't install any Audigy 2 ZS drivers

I did a clean install of Windows 7 and noticed right away, that the drivers for my Audigy 2 ZS didn't get installed. Here is the error I was given via device manager / properties for card:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
This operation requires an interacti've window station.
    Drivers I've tried:
From Windows Update, dated October 4, 2008<
    Creative's website, Driver version?2.8.00, dated July 3 2009
Creative's website, Beta driver version 2.8.00, dated Oct 2009
    Creative's website, Vista driver 2.2.0002, dated March 6, 2007
    danielk's audigy support pack 3.5
When I tried the Creative executables and danielk's support pack, I do not get any errors during any parts of the install(s).
Windows Updates says the install failed with unknown reason. When I attempt to "update driver" through device manager, it says it finds the driver but it gives me the same error as mentioned?above: This operation requires an interactive window station.
What else can I try? I've also done an "upgrade" install of Windows 7 on top of the clean install (out of desperation). At this point, I feel like reloading my XP imaged install,?so I can have working audio again.
So, please, if there is something I can try, then please help. Is there a way to do a "logged" install and send it to someone at Creative?
    Thanks for your time

So, just to update everyone on my situation. I think my issue was caused by the migration tool, Windows Easy Transfer.
I formatted the partition the partition that Windows 7 was installed on, and did a fresh reinstall. Upon first boot of the new reinstall, the audio drivers were still not installed. I then immediately tried to "update drivers" via device manager and Windows installed the latest beta drivers from October , 2009 with no errors.
Is there any reason why the install won't install the drivers on its own? Did it not ship with Audigy 2 ZS drivers?

  • Error code 0x80070570 during install of Windows 7 64-bit

    Hi
I have a Macbook Pro 2008 - 2.53 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. It has 8Gb of RAM. I have run Windows 7 on this machine before successfully so I do not know what has changed except for the RAM.
The steps I took are below.
    - start bootcamp
    - repartition hard drive (successful) - 70GB
    - insert Windows 7 64 bit disc (original - bought at launch) when instructed and select restart via Bootcamp
    - boots into Windows 7 installer successfully
    - I select Advanced installation
    - I format the Bootcamp partition
    - then installation starts. It reaches Expanding Windows File stage. At 42% an error occurs (below).
"Windows cannot install required files. The file maybe corrupt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation. Error code: 0x080070570"
This can be reproduced every single time and at the same exact stage and percentage. I have tried different partition sizes with no success. I am using the original discs from Microsoft and also tried a copy of the disc with the same exact results. My Macbook Pro could install 8GB of RAM due to a secret firmware upgrade from Apple and it was discovered by some fix it site and they announced it which resulted in Kingston selling an upgrade kit which I purchased and installed. It works like a charm with OSX. Everything runs very smoothly and there are no errors at all on OSX. I can even run Final Cut Pro X and it uses all my RAM with no errors or crashes, so I am at a loss.
I hope someone out there has had similar issues and found a way to resolve it. Thank you.
    Adam

I just successfully installed Windows 8.1 Update 1 on BootCamp on Mac OS X Yosemite. Here is a step by step I just wrote, hope it helps y'all:
How to successfully install Windows 8, or above, on Mac OS X Mavericks or above:
    Requirements:
1- Windows OS ISO Image file
2- An 8GBs USB Flash Drive
3- A good Internet connection as you will need to download the Windows compatible drivers for your Mac
    Steps:
1- Open up Disk Utility and create an additional partition for Windows formatted as ExFat. 100GBs, or above, is recommended as update to the operating system, as well as Apps requiere space on your HD or SSD [This step can be done during Mac OS X's installation process]
    2- Open up BootCamp Assistant
3- Make sure only the 'Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk' is checked and your USB Flash Drive plugged in and click 'Continue'
4- Click 'Choose' and select your Windows ISO Image file
5- Select the USB Flash Drive you will be using during the installation process and click continue to confirm
6- Once done, restart your Mac and hold down the 'alt/option' key on your keyboard to bring up the Boot Menu
7- Select the USB Flash Drive named Windows, not the UEFI Boot
8- Install Windows as you normally would
    * Remember to press and hold the 'alt/option' key, and select the Windows Partition, whenever the installation process requires your Mac to restart

  • I5 17''MBP  gets blue screen during install windows 7 32 bit

    Hello all:
I heard that quite many people get classic windows' "blue screen" during using windows , whatever Windows XP, Vista or 7. But now i face the "blue screen" during install Windows 7, which means I even can not complete installation.
I bought my Macbook Pro i5 17'' one month ago, and I'm trying to install Windows 7 but I face the problem during the installation. After finishing first 4 steps the computer would restart and start to "finish installation", but at this time it gets "blue screen" and shows "error: 0x0000009c" and stuck there. I have to shut down the turn off button and interrupt the installation.
I don't know if there's any one else face this unlucky situation. I searched on the net and it says the problem could be from memory, graphic card (too new), or even overlocking the cpu, whatever it must be the problem of hardware. I thought it might be the problem of compatible.
If anyone knows how to deal with this problem??!! I do need to use some software under Windows system!

It is good to see that it is indeed a USB2.
The support software on the USB is used in the Pre-boot environment setup and provides drivers for Apple specific hardware, GPU, BT, Mouse, etc. You can verify that by looking at the USB contents. The DVD contains generic drivers when hardware is not recognized as defaults to use. Apple does enough 'secret sauce' to make them different. The following does not explicitly state the USB2 need when using the DVD Installer and mentions W8 (not W7).
From Boot Camp: Creating an ISO image from a Windows installation DVD - Apple Support
Insert a blank USB 2 flash drive that is a least 16GB in size into a USB port on the computer. Boot Camp Assistant uses this drive to store the Windows 8 install media and support drivers during installation of Windows.
Note: This flash drive needs to be formatted for the FAT32 file system and must use the Master Boot Record partitioning scheme. Use Disk Utility to check the format of the flash drive before proceeding, and partition or erase the flash drive if necessary.
I suspect the GPU is not getting the correct driver and the Installer fails. The Generic VGA should work. From the OS X side, can you see files in your BC volume? If yes, can you look for logs in the BC volume at the following locations.
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.dev.log
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.offline.log
    ./Windows/Inf/setupapi.setup.log
    ./Windows/Logs/SetupCleanupTask/setupact.log
    ./Windows/Logs/SetupCleanupTask/setuperr.log
    ./Windows/Panther/FastCleanup/setupact.log
    ./Windows/Panther/FastCleanup/setuperr.log
    ./Windows/Panther/setupact.log
    ./Windows/Panther/setuperr.log
    ./Windows/Panther/UnattendGC/setupact.log
    ./Windows/Panther/UnattendGC/setuperr.log
    ./Windows/setupact.log

  • Boot camp 4 can't install windows support drivers

    Hi everyone,
I have the new imac 27" with thunderbolt and preinstalled Lion. They dont give you a CD.
I run Boot Camp assistant (version 4.0) and try to install windows on a purchased DVD Windows 7 x64 ( i am a recent convert to mac but still need some windows proggys.)
Ok so once I run the installation It asks me to download the windows support drivers... I do this but then it stops 3/4 through the process and comes up with an error "can't install windows support drivers".
Do any of you out know how to fix this???
Also If I dont use the option to update the software before installing and just select install windows 7 (second option) from a disc. It installs windows fine BUT it wont install any of the network, usb, camera, graphics and sound drivers. so basicaly I am blocked from the internet for windows to update the drivers. I also cant get the driver files from another computer as the mac in windows mode can recognised usb sticks as the drivers arent installed.
I need help urgently on this as it is doing my head
    Thanks in advance.
    Daniel!

    Yes, but.
Open Network Preferences>Network>Advanced>Proxies and uncheck everything (try Passive Mode on, and off, but no auto Proxies)
    And try again.

  • Drivers won't work on windows 7 when i installed it on my my mac mini with os x lion

have installed windows 7 using boot camp on my mac mini with os x lion on it. But when i loaded windows 7 up it was working fine but then windows 7 wouldn't connect to wifi. It says i have to install drivers but i don't know how to.

First, hold the X key while your Mac is starting to start in OS X. Then, open Boot Camp Assistant (in /Applications/Utilities), follow the steps and mark the option to download the Windows support software. It will be downloaded onto a USB drive or DVD.
Finally, start in Windows, access to the DVD or USB drive through Windows Explorer and run the installer. When the Windows support software is installed, restart

  • Touchpad drivers not installing for U310 Touch on Windows 7

My wife got a U310 Touch today which is a nice little computer. However it came with Windows 8 and she prefers Windows 7, so I took care of clearing the hard drive and installing Windows 7. We installed all the Windows 7 drivers from the Lenovo support site however the touchpad drivers fail to install. I tried manually installing the Synaptec drivers but it told me I don't have a Synaptec device. I then installed the Cypress drivers manually and rebooted but then the trackpad doesn't work at all.
I looked in Device Manager and the Hardware ID for the PS/2 Compatible Mouse says SYN2B0B which appears by all internet research to be a Synaptics hardware ID, which would make it understandable that the Cypress driver didn't work but really irritating that the Synaptics installer won't run because it says I don't have a Synaptics device.
What should I do? The default Microsoft drivers are OK but she really wants to disable the tap to click and adjust some of the other settings that aren't available without real touchpad drivers.

    hi Ngravelyn,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Please try this auto detect, Check if this one works
    TouchPad Driver (Synaptics, Cypress)
    0wto11ww.exe
    142MB
Please make sure to uninstall any Installed driver for the touchpad first before installing this.
    Hope this helps
