Windows Azure Website WCF baseAddress after Publishing to Azure

Hi!
I have a WCF service, hosted on IIS, that works fantastic when not published, (localhost).
If I however publish my project, (azure website, NOT cloudapp), to Azure it no longer works. I understand that there is no localhost with azure so I am fully aware that it should not work.
What I need help with
Would someone be so kind and provide me with a step by step guide on how to update the baseAddresses after the project is published? I have looked everywhere for this but I cant seem to find a guide.
WCF Service Library, App.config
<client>
<endpoint address="http://localhost:8080/UserWCF" binding="wsHttpBinding"
bindingConfiguration="WSHttpBinding_IUserService" contract="Fildela_WCF.IFildelaService"
name="WSHttpBinding_IUserService">
<identity>
<userPrincipalName value="REFT\filip" />
</identity>
</endpoint>
</client>
<services>
<service name="Fildela_WCF.FildelaService">
<endpoint address="UserWCF" binding="wsHttpBinding" contract="Fildela_WCF.IFildelaService" />
<host>
<baseAddresses>
<add baseAddress="http://localhost:8080" />
</baseAddresses>
</host>
</service>
</services>
When published and navigating to pages that use the WCF service, i get this error:
An attempt was made to access a socket in a way forbidden by its access permissions 127.0.0.1:2112
I have tried to set the baseAddress and endpoint address to my azurewebsite url, mywebsite.azurewebsites.net/8080 but it wont work. I am totally a newbie with this so please bear with me.
Thank you

Hi sir,
Did you try to use this link?

I think you can try this link in your browser to check whether your deployment is rightly.
Any results, Please feel free to let me know.

  • The window title bar displays incorrectly after publishing a flash file.  Captivate 4

    When I open the .htm file after using the Flash option to publish, the wrong title displays in the title bar at the top of Internet Explorer's window; instead it displays a former file name.  I was told that the window name is determined by the field located here: File> Document Info> Project Name; however, this is not the case on my PC.  My coworker is able to publish it correctly, but I am not.  The first picture below is the IE title bar and the second is where (I think) that title bar pulls from, Project Name.  Please notice that mine differ.  Any suggestions?

    I've run into this issue in CP4 as well though I've never been sure why it happens. It looks like you're opening the swf through a browser to so, for want of a solution, the easiest workaround is the edit the html file.
    open it in a text editor such as Notepad.
    Five or six lines down you'll find the title element which defines the title as it will display in your browser titlebar:  <title>This text is the title that displays in your browser title bar</title>
    Just change the text the the title you want and save the html file.
    If you go with this solution, I suggest that when you are publishing the project again you deselect the option "Export HTML" in the publish wondow. Otherwise you will have to edit your html file each time you publish.
    Hope this helps.

    hi Madhusudan,
    According to your description, It is very hard to reproduce your issue. But from my experience, I suggest you can try those steps:
    1.Please try to create a new cloud service and try to deploy on Azure. I wanted to check whether the environment  issue.
    2.Please try to redeploy your project and disable RemoteAccess feature in your deployment process.
    Any results, please let me know free.
    Regards,
    Will

    Using Firefox 4 & Windows 7. Everytime I start Firefox from a shortcut to a website it comes up with the following error 'there was a problem sending the command to the program'. The requested website does load after this. with no problems.
    If a shortcut is used while Firefox is already open the error does not occur.

    As reported in earlier replies, the annoyance disappeared after I upgraded to Roboform 7.5.6, from 7.5.4.

  • Window Workflow foundation instance clear after redeployment in window azure

    Iv developed workflow with .netframework 4.5 , the worflow works properly on my

    The execution of an InstancePersistenceCommand was interrupted because the instance
    key '' was not associated to an instance. This can occur because the instance or key has been cleaned up, or because the key is invalid. The key may be invalid if the message it was generated from was sent at the wrong time or contained incorrect correlation

    Hi,
    Build-time validation :
    In .NET Framework 4, workflow validation errors weren’t counted as build errors during the build of a workflow project. This meant that building a workflow project could succeed even when there were workflow validation errors. In .NET Framework 4.5, workflow
    validation errors cause the build to fail.
    I suggest you to follow the below article for information on Windows Workflow Foundation in .NET 4.5
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh305677(v=vs.110).aspx
    Hope this helps !

  • Upgrading Windows Azure Pack Websites from Update 4 to Update 6 SQL Schema Update Issues

    Hi,
    This is indeed an issue with the current bits for Windows Azure Pack WebSites Update 6. Thanks for reporting it, and apologies for the inconvenience.
    Can you please send email to the address kranthim at <our-company-name>.com? We will help you fix your deployment, while we fix the issue and update the public bits.

  • Perfomance difference in windows azure shared websites.

    Hi,
    If i use azure shared websites instead of azure cloud deployment project how can i enable/access cloud service for that?
    If i can means is there any difference in performance like loading time, blob storage accessing time, cdn service.
    Which one is best? to access windows azure full benefits like cdn, blob storage, cloud service, very less loading time etc...

    The performance of accessing storage and other Azure services should not differ much between web site and web role, as long as the storage account and the web site/role are in the same data center.
    As far as performance is concerned, the main difference is in computation power. By default, web sites are hosted on shared instances. Your web site may share the same VM instance with sites created by other people. Web role, on the other hand,
    by default uses dedicated hosting. It gives you a small VM instance, but the whole instance belongs to you. Shared instances may sometimes induce lower network performance, as multiple web sites may want to access network resources at the same time. This may
    reduce performance when accessing Azure services. Of course all those can be changed by modifying configuration. You can configure web site to use dedicated hosting (which is more expensive of course).

  • SharePoint publishing website runs wrong after several days, but return correct after reset IIS

    SharePoint publishing website runs wrong after several days, but return correct after IISReset.
    I have a custom solution on this publishing site, which looks up sharepoint resources, I've changed
    "List View Lookup Threshold" up to 50 in resource throttling, but this keep occurs sometimes.
    could you give me some clue to solve this permanently?
    Thanks very much in advance!

    I am sure you are using BLOB cache. Try to disable it and check. I have seen this issue with BLOB cache.
    Do we see some error in ULS logs and Event viewer
    Use fiddler and check if there is something like 404.
    Try below tool on your code

  • Error 404 when opening pdf files after publishing website

    Hello,
    i included pdf files in a blog. They open properly when testet but after publishing approx. 50% of them do not show up and i receive the error 404 (file not found). Are there any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Great Input!!!
    Thanks!!! Due to your comment i found out why the files coulnd't be opened: The names included "Umlaute" and the German "sharp s". These letters were transformed automatically and than coulnd't match anymore. So easy and so difficult.
    have a nice weekend!

  • How to Upload muse website to windows azure via ftp

    Hie,
    I am using Muse with windows 8 pc .
    I want to update my content to my windows azure ftp and host the site
    But when i try to use in-build ftp it doesnot work I shows up folder not found
    And when I click ok it shows up error again
    But when I use Third party ftp client it works properly

    It looks like you might be using the full FTP connection URL in your host directory field. In this field, you'll only want that last part of the information ("site/wwwroot/"). Using that should allow you to FTP without issue.
    Hope that helps,
    Andrew
