I have a fairly simple Script Transformation that is now causing us an issue. We've upgraded to SQL Server 2012 SP2 on our development servers. When the package runs, we receive the following coming from the script transformation.

Of course, it works fine from my workstation because I don't have FIPS turned on. I don't see anything in the stack trace that points to any of my code. It appears to be initializing the component.
I've seen a few posts in the forums, but they don't seem to fit this exact situation.
Has anyone seen anything like this?

While I realize that this is outside the scope of this forum, I have written a powershell filter to implement the referenced workaround

We have no Idea how to fix this. We looked at multiple articles regarding changing the registry and the web.config file etc. but we cannot seem to resolve it.

I have enabled FIPS compliant algorithms,including encryption, hashing and signing algorithms in (Windows server 2012 R2 ), after enabling. My SSIS package is not working and i am not able open my SSRS also.

in latest security recommendation guides it is no longer recommended to use this setting (because it breaks a lot of stuff...).

Consider turning it off if you do not have strict resuirements for it.
otherwise, You will have to investigate you code. SQL server forums would be the appropirate place to get help in troublesooting your code.

On Windows Platform, encounters error when trying to open an Indesign document created from MAC

On Windows Platform, encounters error when trying to open an Indesign document in INDD format created from Mac. Error received "Either the file does not exist, you do not have permission, or the file may be in use by other application". I am currently using Adobe Indesign CC 9.2 Trial version.
Kindly advise how can i open this document on windows platform and allows me to edit the document.

Normally there is no problem to open any INDD opening on Windows, when created on the Mac.
But Mac user are often not aware on the naming limitations. A file name must not contain /, \, |, :
It should not contain any extended character, it is not a primary problem but will be, if something links to that file, so avoid also: ÄÖÜäöüß+&
You can use all other non A-Z a-z, 0-9 and - and _
I personally would also recommend to avoid spaces.
This is valid for the INDD file itself but also for all linked content.

Windows platform, cannot use several of Suite programs now as they are coming up as trial versions since I started using Cloud..sure this is not a new topic, but not much Adobe support. Appreciative of help.

CS 6 Design and Web premium individual programs (not in use for some time) are now launching as trial versions since the advent of Adobe Cloud. Windows platform. They should provide a telephone number with a live body to fix this issue for those of us affected. BTW I have been trying to resolve this on my own for one week before I even posted in this forum. [WACK] Windows Runtime metadata validation failure

I have a bit of intricate project with shared C# and C++ Windows Store projects... even a bit of unmanaged code.
And at the end of the project I am trying to pass WACK validation.
I resolved almost all of the problems... but there is one problem...
"Windows Runtime metadata validation
General metadata correctness test
Metadata files must meet various requirements in order to be valid and correct.
The type System.MulticastDelegate referenced by type ProjectName.SomeClass in file ProjectName.winmd was not found. All types referenced in metadata files must be discoverable."
I was confused. Platform was added to the project... VCL Runtime too.

Hi Ruslan - I don't think this is a problem with the WACK, but with the compiler. Somehow the compiler is interpreting delegate as mutlicastdelegate. I'm going to check with the .NET team to see how to resolve this. It may take several
days due to the holiday.

Audit Vault Installation problem on windows platform

I'm trying to install Audit Vault 10.2.2 on windows platform. The installation procedure is successfull (there are no alerts about errors during installation). The enterprise manager is working at http://localhost:1158/em without any problem.
The installation guide says that audit vault console should work at http://localhost:5700/av, but this site is unreachable.
I tried to find out the problem, so I started avctl show_av_status
The result is:

I'd like to help you but it seems to me, from the perspective of the purpose of Audit Vault, that putting a secure repository on top of an insecure operating system is a non sequitur.
Thus all of my installs have been on Oracle Enterprise Linux and I've never seen any installation-related issues such as you are reporting.
If you can I would suggest getting, as they say, "a real operating system."
Performance will improve, hardware utilization will improve, security will improve, and as an additional advantage, this issue will disappear.

Create a New Realm in OID on windows Platform

I am trying to create a new realm using the following doc located at

but this doc gives instructions about executing shell scripts which is not possible in windows.
I got cygwin(Unix Emulator) but since this is a windows installation some files instead of being shell scripts get converted to bat for example the script searches for ldifmigrator whereas we have only ldifmigrator.bat
Please advice that can we get an equivalent doc for windows 2000 installation of OID

How to compile a form built in forms 10g on windows platform?

I have built a 10g form on my local desktop on windows 7 and compiled/deployed it in apps on linux server.
I need to deploy the same form fmb on oracle apps hosted on windows platform. Please let me know if fmb works fine or not. And also provide how to compile form in windows platform..like frmcmp_batch command

The fmb, mmb, and pll files are portable to any platform where Forms can be installed. Every installation that supports running Forms comes with the necessary components to generate the executible files (fmx, mmx, plx). On your Windows machine, if you have the Builder installed, you can generate an FMX using the Builder. If not, you can directly use the compiler. The compiler has a gui option and a command line option. If you do not pass any arguments into the executible (frmcmp.exe) the GUI will start. Alternatively you can generate from the command line (DOS). You may need to set PATH, ORACLE_HOME, TNS_ADMIN, and possibily some others in the DOS shell in order for it to work.

There used to be a win32 call for it, so if you want it you'll need to go back to C/C++ and do JNI, provided it is still in the API.
