WIP Picklist Print Flag ??

Hi,
I have been tasked to flag when a WIP Picklist for a job/item (Unallocated) has been printed, for a custom report. So my question is "*Does Oracle flag such a thing, anywhere in the DataBase?*" when a report like the "Discrete Job PickList Report" is kicked off ?
My other alternative is to create a custom table and store that information when the above Report is kicked off, but I'd rather not if I can avoid it.
Thanks

To rephrase your question:
When a wip component pick release is done, there are some unallocated requirements. You need to run a report or notify someone when such unallocated requirements are recreated.
Right?
You can look at mtl_txn_request_lines to find unallocated requirements and base your report/alert off that.
Hope this answers your question

  • Picklist printing from Sales Order screen with Crystal Report

    When attempting to print a Sales Order, we get a dialog box that allows us to choose either Sales Order or Picklist.  Prior to moving to a Crystal Report based report, this dialog box would appear each and every time we tried to print the Sales Order. (Our process requires that we print the Sales Order to our Document Warehouse and then separately print the Picklist to a physical printer.)  Now that we are using Cyrstal, the dialog box to select the form appears for the first print job, but when we try to print the other form,  we no longer get the option to choose which form to print.  The second attempt at printing then defaults to which form we printed first.
    Under Print Preferences, it appears the box to "Print Picking Sheet" only applies to PLD.  Other than closing out of the Sales Order Form and opening it back up again, is there a way to force SAP to allow me to choose which form to print each time I click Print?
    And since we're on the topic, Is it possible to set up a print sequence to print the Sales Order to one printer and the Picklist to another one?

    Are you on SBO 8.8 yet? If so which patch level?
    There is a Print Sequence functionality built into this version (although we don't use it at our company at the moment). 8.8 will also allow you to attach Crystal Reports to any document (with a little work) and they will print just like a PLD document (albeit in a Crystal Viewer).
    If you are not on 8.8 yet, how are you pulling up the Crystal Report for the the Sales Order? I'm guessing you are using some add-on to do this since the 2007 Crystal add-on didn't really handle document layouts very well.
    I can expand on all of this if you want. But I'll need to know what version/patch level of SBO you are on. My company is on 8.8 PL15.

  • Printing Flag Based on the Condition Request

    Hello
    I have a requirement where i need to check two conditions on Date and Print the Date in Red and Flag(Symbol) adjacent to the Date, I used Conditional Format and gave my Conditions and then i am ableto print the date in Red , Below is my Conditional Format XML and i am unable to print a symbol adjacent to the Date with the same Condition
    Here is my Conditional Format XML
    <?if:LE_DT<PRINT_DATE?><?attribute@incontext:color;'red'?><?end if?><?if:ACT_DT='--'?><?attribute@incontext:color;'red'?><?end if?>
    i need to print a FLAG symbol also based on this condition
    Thanks for your help

    So after the attribute setting you need to put in the flag character. To do this, you will need to put the opening and closing if statements in separate form fields and then put the flag character between them.
    <?if:LE_DT<PRINT_DATE?><?attribute@incontext:color;'red'?>FLAG CHAR<?end if?><?if:ACT_DT='--'?><?attribute@incontext:color;'red'?>FLAG CHAR<?end if?>
    Bear in mind that the flag character may come from a special font e.g. wingdings. In which case you will need to ensure that font is on the server - check the docs. Or you can conditionally show an embedded image in the same way.

  • Picklist Printing issue

    Hi,
    When Printing the picklist system should consider shipping point printers.
    Please suggest the configuration where we can maintain the shipping point printers.
    Regards,
    Vikram

    Then check in t.code VV22, for the output type, check the printer assignments. If you are using warehouse management->transfer order functionality, then you may not be able to print based on shipping point, but you can print based on warehouse number and storage type. Check in t.code OMLV for warehouse related settings.

  • Printing material-documents without flag (parameter NDR)

    Hello everybody,
    I've got a question regarding printouts of material-documents. Normally the printout is done via condition-technique. Now my customer asks for a printout even if the flag for the printing is NOT set (Parameter NDR) in the document-header.
    Does anybody know how to solve this request? Is there a user-exit where I can check the requested requirements?
    Thanks for an answer,
    Thomas

    Hello Thomas,
    The "print flag" (GOHEAD-XNAPR) is for selecting the print version (field WEVER). In standard all output are dependend on the print version (WE01 on version 1, WE02 on version 2, etc).
    If you set NDR = blank and GOHEAD-XNAPR not flag, I think the solution is to create a access table and add to the access sequence that is linked to the output type, WA03 for example. Then these customized condition tables must not check the "print version" (WEVER). As a result the output are independend from setting the print flag and thereby  selecting a print version.
    You need to test this solution but I think it can work.

    Hi,
       The CIN conditions cannot be printed in PO, this is limited functionality. Read the note:
    Note 952287 - CIN: Limited Functionalities in Country Version India
    1. Printing of taxes in Purchase order
    Please note that printing of taxes in PO is not supported by country version India. If you need to print the taxes then you need to bring them into the MM procedure using condition types. You may use the condition type JEXS to bring the total taxes into the pricing procedure. Assigning a print flag in tax procedure will not help you in printing taxes.
    What you have to do is tell the ABAP programmer to get the calculation done is smartform program.
    This is the way you can show the break up in printing.
    I think some programme logic is given in some threads in  Forum-ABAP General.
    This can only be acheived by programming in smart form.

  • TAX printing in the PO form

    Hi! Guys,
    Can anyone tell me how to print the taxes at line item level calculated by the tax code.
    I have read other postings as well, which refer to the tables EKKO, EKPO
    KONP, KONV to be used to develop a code. In my case i have created 2 condition types in the tax procedure JSRT & JEC3 for service tax and education cess.
    As per the messeges when I check for the condition record in table KONV i get only NAVS and total tax amount. Also in KONP the field for TAX percentage is displaying value zero.
    Can anyone tell me how to acheive this or what is the problem.
    Thank you
    Sid

    As per SAP Note - 952287, this is a limited functionality of CIN.

  • Printing Buttons with Images

    In my application, I am attempting to print a document that has both buttons with text and buttons with images, along with plain text.
    When I print, the buttons with the images are larger than they ought to be (i.e. they don't fit within the area they were suppose to be drawn within (btw, for this application, I am using absolute positioning)).
    However, this does NOT occur with the buttons that have only text and no image.
    Can anybody tell me why this might be? It seems that to printing a JButton comes from the functionallity of JComponent.print, which simply sets a few printing flags and calls JComponent.paint.
    So whatever changes those flags make, I would think they ought to effect all buttons the same?
    Has anybody else run into this problem, and possibly found a solution for it?

    myJButton.setSize(new java.awt.Dimension(<width>,<height>));
    that line should do it. keep in mind that that will not resize your image. since you are using absolute positioning I will assume your button is of constant size. you should manually resize your images to be of the proper size for your buttons.

  • Controlling print options through triggers

    Hi,
    I developed a report which runs in 2 modes.
    1. Automatic mode(runs in a request set)
    2. Manual Mode(submitted manually through SRS as a single request)
    I got a new requirrment where I need to print the output when print flag is Y and the report is in Automatic mode.
    Always print when in manual mode.
    After a bit of googling, I found this API
    fnd_request.set_print_options (printer =>’<printer name>’,
    style =>’PORTRAIT’,
    copies=>1,
    save_output => TRUE,print_together => ‘N’)
    would it work in my case?
    If so, I am guessing that I will have to use in After Report Trigger.
    Thanks,
    Rakesh

    Rakesh,
    I suggest you you post your question in the [EBS General Discussion|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=475] forum. You should get a much faster response to your question. It's my understanding that EBS controls whether output is automatically printed through a User Profile setting. Its been a while since I've worked with the EBS so I could be wrong.

  • BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE: printing GR/GI slip

    Hi everyone,
    I need to print the GR/GI slip using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE.
    There are two fields in header structure (GOODSMVT_HEADER) to fill:
         VER_GR_GI_SLIP
         VER_GR_GI_SLIPX
    I have filled the first one for example. with ‚1’ (for ‚individual slip’) and set ‚X’ on the second one but it doesn’t work.
    Using the parameter NDR like
         (DATA l_ndr TYPE c VALUE ’X’.)
         SET PARAMETER ID 'NDR' FIELD l_ndr.
    before calling BAPI doesn’t work either.
    When I set the parameter-id using transaction ‚su01’ (user maintenance) the BAPI prints permanently regardless of wihich fields are filled or not filled. I need the printing only if it is required.
    Any ideas? Thank you.
    Regards,
    Kai
    P.S.: If it is necessary to know: The print flag by transaction 'mb01' works correct.

    You may check SAP note 520813
    12. Question:
    What do I have to keep in mind if I want to trigger the print output of a goods receipt or goods issue document when I execute the BAPI?
    Answer:
    You must make sure that a user name is transferred in the PR_UNAME field in the header structure. This user is used for determining the print parameters. You must set the value 'X' for the 'NDR' parameter ID for this user. Make sure that all customizing-related settings have been made for this user.
    The GOODSMVT_CODE import parameter is relevant for the print version. The transaction code is derived from this code (see table T158G, for example, code 04 stands for MB1B). The BAPI uses the print version that is assigned to this transaction for the goods receipt/goods issue document. This is customized in transaction OMBR. Check your Customizing and make sure that you have assigned a print version to this transaction and that a conditional output record exists.

  • How to manually set print ordered metadata?

    How do you manually set the Print ordered or printed metadata for apeture versions? I have ordered prints through other sites, (Costoc, Smugmug, Mpix...), and would like to be able to manualy set this flag for the images I have printed. Is there a way to do that or is a custom field the best I can do?

    Not that I know of (without mucking inside the Aperture package).  Sounds like a good use of a custom field, though.  You could put in the printing service and the date -- ex:  20120122 Costco, 20120122 Mpix -- and then sort on the field to get a list in order printed, or use a Filter HUD Rule to group by printing service.
    You can trigger the built-in Printed flag by ... printing-without-printing.  Set up a PDF Printing Workflow that doesn't actually print, and select it from the PDF menu on the second printer dialog that comes up.  You could likely automate the whole thing.

  • Annotation does not print

    I have a text annotation that does not print even though it was created with the Print flag set to true. The example PDF can be seen at http://home.fuse.net/mikebrungs/output.pdf
    The popup text note in the upper left hand portion of the page is viewable in the PDF but will not print out to paper no matter what I do. Hopefully someone can help.

    On the Adobe knowledgebase page for Reader it indicates that you can choose to print comments from within Reader, but this is not true. I am using Reader 8.0 on a Windows computer, and just want to be able to
    print the comments on the page from Reader so that I don't have to bug the designer (who has Pro) every time I want to print with comments. Can this be done, or not. And if not WHY NOT!

    Print a PDF
    If the desired printing option is in the Print dialog box, set it there rather than through the printer driver. The computer you wish to print a PDF from must be connected either to a local, shared, or network printer and be configured to use that printer.
    Choose File > Print Setup (Windows), File > Page Setup (Mac OS), or File > Print (UNIX) to choose a paper size, page orientation, and other general printing options. The options vary with different
    printers and drivers. See your printer driver documentation for details.
    To print comments, such as sticky notes, in the Preferences dialog box, choose Commenting and select Print Notes And Pop-ups.
    Note: To open Preferences in Windows, choose Edit > Preferences. In Mac OS, choose Reader > Preferences.
    Click the Print button , or choose File > Print.
    Choose a printer from the menu at the top of the Print dialog box.
    (Mac OS) Choose an option from the Presets pop-up menu.
    In Windows or UNIX, click Properties to set any additional options available with the printer driver. In Mac OS, set printer driver options in the Print Center.
    To print comments or forms, select an option from the Comments And Forms pop-up menu.
    Indicate which pages you want to print, and then click OK.

  • IMAP setting flags for DSN message problem

    Hi,
    I have a question about processing DSN flags using Java Mail.
    We are trying to set SEEN and FLAGGED flags also for DSN messages (for any other messages it is working perfectly fine).
    The problem is that no flags are set, no IMAP commands are issued.
    For any 'normal' messages the IMAP command is issued (for example: A27 STORE 13 +FLAGS (\Seen)).
    We are using Exchange Server 2007 with IMAP support enabled on the mailbox.
    The strange thing is that i can manualy set SEEN and FLAGGED flags from Outlook on this DSN message and then print flags for this message from Java Mail.
    Is there any standard for FLAG processing for DSN messages? Is this a problem in Java Mail / Exchange or some limitation? As I believe DSN in also a javax.mail.Message from the implementation point of view...
    Regards

    Hi Bill,
    This was a good point, about calling setFlags method on the wrong message.
    The problem is because, we are dealing with Exchange bug described here:
    BODYSTRUCTURE with "multipart" "signed" not parsing
    and using workaround described here:
    http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/faq-135477.html#imapserverbug
    However, we were setting flags on message created using following code
    SharedByteArrayInputStream bis =  new SharedByteArrayInputStream(bos.toByteArray());
    MimeMessage cmsg = new MimeMessage(session, bis);not on original message from the mailbox.
