WLI 6.1 SP4 with WLI 2.1 SP2
We would like to install Weblogic 6.1 SP4 with Weblogic Process Integration 2.1
SP2 and we have read on the papers of WLI 2.1 SP2, that it supports WLS 6.1 SP3.
Is it possible to install WLI 2.1 SP2 with WLS 6.1 SP4?
If the answer is "yes", please let me know what kind of problems could happen
with the maps and applications that are already created on WLS 6.1 SP2 and WLI
2.1 SP1.
Tks.

Hi Sangeetha
My apologies for the inconvenience you are experiencing. We havediscovered
a problem with the website for the WLI 2.1 SP2 upgrade installer, providing
an incorrect file.
We are working to correct this immediately. In the mean time, the
proper
file can be accessed from our FTP server. The details are:
server: ftpsupport.bea.com
user: support

path: /pub/wli21sp2

Can't deploy content.jar on Portal 8.1 SP4 with DB2
Greetings,
Have installed WebLogic Portal 8.1 SP4 with DB2 8.1.8. While deplying content.jar which contains BEA's classes relatives to the content management, the following exception is raised:
<Oct 19, 2005 2:54:32 PM MEST> <Error> <EJB> <BEA-011076> <Unable to deploy the EJB 'ValueBean' because the database table 'CMV_VALUE' is not accessible. Please ensure that this table exists and is accessible.>
Of course, the CMV_VALUE table exists and it has records inside. Every thing seems to be okay from the point of view of connection pools, data sources and JNDI names. The deployment works properly with Oracle and PointBase.
The JDBC driver I'm using is com.ibm.db2.jcc.Db2Driver.
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Kind regards,
Nicolas DUMINILHello,
More information is required to help you, and as James suggested, the best option would be to move to EclipseLink instead of TopLink Essentials as EclipseLink is actively being developed and is the JPA 2 RI.
Running it on the latest EclipseLink ensures that you are not hitting an issue that has already been fixed, and both are based off TopLink.
Are you deploying an Ear or an exploded directory? If the later, can you try using an Ear?
Best Regards,

Can we install Business Objects Data Services XI 3.2 with BOE 3.1 SP2
Hi,
I want to install SAP Data Services XI 3.2 and BW 7.1 and BOE 3.1 SP2 are already in place. I want to know befor installation of Data Services that it is compatible with BOE 3.1 SP2. The documentation for Data services tell only about the compatibility of BW and not about BOE. If anybody has installed Data Services XI 3.2 with BOE 3.1 or knows about version compatibility, please shed some light.Yes,
I have tried install BOE 3.1 SP2 and DS 3.2 SP2 together on 1 machine Windows 2003 64 bit before.
They works fine together.
Just make sure you deploy Tomcat correctly for DS Management Console.

Sun Identity Server 6.1 with Weblogic 8.1 sp2
Hi,
I've installed the IS 6.1 with WLS 8.1 sp2 and the agent 2.1.1 and followed the agent configuration guide to configure the xml files (web.xml and weblogic.xml) and agent authenticator.
When I login to the restricted resource, the browser is redirected to the IS server login page. After login, the browser is redirected back to the resource with 403 forbidden.
Is there any step missing? Should I additional add some policy in the IS console? .....
CliveI have just installed Sun Identity Server 6.2 with WebLogic 8.1 SP3 and am experiencing the same results. Have you resolved this issue in your environment? We are evaluating Portal Server running on a BEA WLS Container and thus do not have Sun Support on the Identity Server Component of this configuration.

RH Server 9 compatibility with Windows Server 2008 SP2/SQL Server
Our tech support people are preparing for a first install of RH Server 9. They have asked me to find out whether there is a recent patch that would enable it to work with Windows Server 2008 SP2 64 bit and MS SQL Server 2008.
If there is not yet a patch, will there be one for this OS/DB combination in the future, and when?
This is in reference to the knowledgebase article at http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/884/cpsid_88483.html which gives a "not recommended" status to this combination.
Our infrastructure team would prefer to use this combination if it is possible.
Second question from the tech team: Do we need to separate the RoboHelp application from the database or can they both reside on the same server? To answer your first question, no there is no patch to allow SQL Server 2008 to run on a 64 bit server. To answer your second question, I don't know. This is a user to user forum and therefore we are not party to any discussions on when or if a patch will be released. You could sumbit a feature request which the Adobe RoboHelp Product Manager will get. This will help advance your case. You can submit it here:

6.5 sp2 und zdm 7 are the same code IIRC correctly.. you could get errors
thought because they do "version" checking.. why use a zdm 7 cd with zdm
6.5 sp2?

no idea.. they changed the code in 6.5 sp2 and zdm 7 on how the ZISD is
stored..

JSF with Weblogic 8.1 SP2
Hello,
I am trying to deploy a JSF application in weblogic 8.1 SP2. But I am getting some servlet initialization exception. Have anyone of u faced such problem? Then please let me know the solution.
Also, is there any way to know what versions of different J2EE component does a particular version of weblogic supports? Websphere has got a batch file which when executed gives the supported versions of JDBC etc. in an html file. Does weblogic has something similar?

I have the universe which is build on Bex query. When I create a WebI report in Rich Client some values are not coming. I checked the universe, the objects are mapped to the correct BW objects, checked the data in BW cube, data exist.
In topic BusinessObjects XI3.1 SP2 with SAP BW 7.01 Nargisse resolved this issue, when he applied notes. But in those notes SAP recommend to aplly SP7, although we have SAP BW 7.01 SP9.
Did anyone have the same issue?

Thank you for your response!
Before weekend when I used ALL dimensions in query (in WebI) the results have been not predicatable (For example, for one dimension query return 10 rows, for 3 dimensions - 1 row, but must return 30)

If you're just developing, then I think you'll be fine.

No wireless access with Windows XP Pro (SP2) on Macbook Pro
Hello,
Just installed Windows XP Pro (SP2) on my new Macbook Pro using Bootcamp Beta. The installation has gone fine with the exception of wireless access to the internet through my Airport home network.
I've tried all the other configuraton wizards on XP...no joy.
The three other macs in the house (2 wireless, 1 ethernet) and one Windows laptop (wireless) are all fine and dandy.
Any suggestions on what to do?
Thanks
17 and 15 Powerbooks, iMac
17 and 15 Powerbooks, iMacRight Click on My Computer
Select Manage
Click on Device Manager
Make sure that your Ethernet Adapters are working properly
If there is an red X or a yellow ! next to any ethernet adapter then try to reinstall the drivers.
(you can reinstall the drivers via the installation cd or double click on the hardware device under device manager. there should be a reinstall drivers button in there. point it to the CD that you burned from bootcamp)
(there will be a couple of devices that are not working properly.)

I found than Inplace update from 2012 to 2012 R2 are supported. I also found 2012 R2 will support SharePoint Foudation 2010 with SP2 (4.0.7116.5000).
But I cannot find if we perform an Inplace update from a Windows 2012 Server running SharePoint 2010 (Sp2) to R2 will be successful.
As anyone done that?
Thanks.

Réal DoréHi ,
On Windows Server 2012 R2, Microsoft supports only the SharePoint Server 2010 SP2 slipstream media configuration and not the RTM version of that configuration. For full SharePoint functionality and support, you must have the February 2014 cumulative update
(CU) or a later CU installed.
Additionally, only a new SharePoint Server 2010 SP2 slipstream installation that has the February 2014 CU or a later CU installed is supported on Windows Server 2012 R2. Microsoft
does not support a Windows in-place upgrade for this scenario.
For your scenario, I suggest you create a new SharePoint Foundation 2010 with SP2 on Windows Server 2012 R2, then migrate the content to new SharePoint 2010.

I hope this helps.
