Work Order Query

Hello Experts,
I have a query for work order.
1) if parts have been reserved in a work order, what is the method of converting those parts to confirmations?
2) Is there any report which shows parts that have been reserved on work orders ? Or any way to see this?

Hi,
For reservation confirmations got to IW42, it will automatically take movement type 261.
For reservations, goto IW40 and select layout view, there you will get option for Reservations.

When I tried set work order status, I had to set the department as I set department attribute as its AME condition, and work order status changed into Release - Pending and form become disable.
    Where can the supervisor make his/her approval to relese the pending status?
    I tried the Maintenance Super User page, but it can only review.
    Any help is greatly apprecaited.

  • Query shows Work Orders number in description

    Hello Experts,
    We have such issue that in query which shows costs of Work Orders (module Plant Maintenance) system for some of displayed Work Orders not shows description but Work Order number.
    It takes place when one turn on to display Key and Text in WO parameters.
    What could be the reason? Whether initial upload of Master Data can help?

    Mapping is strange for me because I have as follow:
    0PM_ORDER = AUFNR - it is OK
    but for long description is
    0TXTMD = TXTMD
    This TXTMD is strange for me. Do you know why we have it here and what does it mean? Such field ofcourse doesn't exist in ERP.
    And additional information is that this long description is not displayed only for WO Types which start from Z*, user defined.
    WHAT COULD BE THE REASON?

  • Query Related to Work Order

    Hello Experts,
    I am facing problem regarding costs in work order.
    After creating a work order of type PM02 we are not able to view the Plan Cost in "Costs" tab.
    This is happening from year 2012 as in previous orders we were able to view the costs in year 2011.
    Not able to understand the reason behind it as i am new to this module.

    Greetings Himanshu,
    I understand you are now able to schedule a PM Order to a 2011 date and see the planned cost there?
    There are year-specific settings for planning in General Controlling > Organization > Maintain Versions > General Version Definition > Controlling Area Settings > Settings for Each Fiscal Year
    you could try to check if there are relevant entries there for 2012, lack of these settings would prevent planning.

  • SSRS 2008 Work order report , in sub total donot want to add the 0 level in ( how to add the expression )

    working in Work order report, this report has different level , for example
    0 level transaction
    1 level transaction
    in subtotal don't want to add 0 level transaction,
    when I did the sub total it added all the level , so in sub total amount double up because of that
    how to add the expression so I can the level 0 take out from sub total , so it does not include in sub total

    I have a query wherein I would like to calculate the time a Work Order or a Purchase Order took to Complete or close.
    Kindly tell me a standard report or a way out to know it.
    Also if I would like to know the average time taken by the orders placed in my campany to get closed.

                 can you please be specific in your requirement, as the PO and The maintenance or Production orders are different.
    what actually is your requirement.
    if you want to know the timing of the work order then you can check them in the start and the finish time, and Purchase Order can be calculated from final release to the GR date.

  • Combined Purchase Order and Sales Order Query. (Including Stand Alone Docs)

    I need some help please!
    I am looking for a query that will show all the Purchase Orders with all their base document Sales Orders. However I also need to show those stand alone Purchase orders and Sales Orders.
    What I have is two queries, one for the PO fields en one for The SO fields. I would like a way to combine these two so I have one query with the relevant PO and SO info next to each other.
    The final query will have a top heading structure like this:
    Status,Purchase No.,Supplier No.,Supplier Name,Week,Month,Del Method,Country,Method,Rep.|Status,Rep.,Sales No.,Customer No.,Customer Name,Customer Order no.,Cust. Del date,Doc total,Del Method

    I have tried a union before, and yours works great. However my problem is to display the  PO en SO columns next to each other and not underneath each other.
    Something like this:
    Po No          Supplier          SO No           Customer
    1234           Sup 1             9876              Cust 1
    1235           Sup 2             no SO             Cust 2
    1236           Sup 3             9877              Cust 3
    1237           Sup 4             9878              Cust 4
    1238           Sup 5             no SO             Cust 4
    I have this query, but with this it drops all those Purchase Orders made Stand Alone and without a SO number.

    I have one more query  regarding this:
    When I assign one Resource to Reqmnt assignment tab and give any date of  friday then the date is automatically switches to Monday's date . the Work schedule for that person is from Monday to Friday but then also it shifts the date to Monday .
    Can you please suggest on this .

    I need to pull completed work orders in a time period.
    and I need to query the items which are generated at my Manufacturing Inventory org upon completion of the

    You can query from front end using Discrete >>Discrete Jobs screen. Put completion date range and the select the status button and you can query any required status.
    Once you get to the folder you can do an export to look at the data.

  • Authorization group in Work order

    Hi all,
    I was doing some reading on authorization groups and found that in ECC 6.0 the transfer of authorization group is possible from the technical object to the work order.
    My question: Is there an authorization group in the work order in 46C and where can I find it?  I have looked through all tabs in the work order and could not find the field.

    Authorization Group Means
    You allocate the master record of this object to a group to which only certain users have access for processing the data. The users that have access authorization have the appropriate entry in their user master record.
    It has no links to Work Order, i suppose. This AG will be responsible for the technical Objects...
    If you want to check for the Work Order... u will be having fields like Person Responsible, Authorization to Particular User Etc...
    I dont think there is any Connection between the two..
    Can u tel us ? Why u want it in the order... If your requirement is not Standard also.. there will be any other way we can Find a Solution for your query.

  • Services in PM work order

    Hello SAP colleagues,
    At work order when choosing items from contract or adding free text description to Services short text field  "Unlimited Overfulfillment" field should always be ticked on. Do you know if this is controlled by customizing? I have checked the PM customizing but didn't find anything. Is that somewhere on MM side?
    The other thing is:
    At service specifications, behind the mountain and sun button   at' Other limits' section tick at "No Limit" should be removed as this enables service entry for anything. Do you know if this is controlled by customizing? I have checked the PM customizing but didn't find anything.

      Check if you could use the user exit "SRVESLL" to see if you could set the "Unlimited Overfulfillment" to "X" always.
      With respect to your next query, Try hiding that field, That might prevent defaulting the value to "X".This might however force you to enter a limit value.
    The field selection for this field can be found in MM under SPRO > MM> External service management > Define screen layout. As you can see the field selection for each field would be a combination of different field selection based on transaction being executed.Choose the OPERATION field key(Double click) and  choose the VALUE Limits Field selection group.Within this set the "No limit on any sources" to hidden".

  • Regarding work order urgent pls

    Hi,
         i have a requirement where i need to get the time slots dynamically which i need to use in select query to retrieve data.
    the time slots are,
    S1 : 8-10 AM
    S2 : 10-12
    S3 : 12-14
    S4 : 14-16
    AM : 08-12 and goes on upto 20.00 PM
    when u open a workorder in iw33 transaction in the location tab u can find an ABC indicator where we are using these time slots for the work order.
    Now my problem is to select the work orders based upon the current systime and timeslot.
    For eg:   if user executes the report say at 10.00 AM he should get all the work orders falling in the time slots S1. in the same way if he executes the report at 12.00 he should get work orders falling in the time slot S1,S2,AM and the user may execute the report at any time.
    can anyone suggest how to implement the code and is there any functional module which takes current time and gives the time slots as output.
    In the standard workorder u wont find the time slots as S1, S2,S3  u will find it as A,B,C,D in ABC indicator field of location tab.
    pls urgent help me and surely u can expect points.

    say user has entered a time of 11:40 am
    then set the lower value to 8
    and higher to  12

    do this in the case endcase.

            fx   between   vl and vh .

  • User status for Notification and Work order

    We generate Service Notification IW26. I have already configured user status like PMND (Planning order not done), AWOP (Awaiting ordered parts) etc. in the Work order a while ago. Now the user wants same User status to the Notification as well. I like to know from experts what is the value added to have the same user status for both Notification and Work Order?
    Do you have any suggestions?

    The customer intent behind this requirement must be to check in reporting / List Display Transaction about the Order Status. If they want to know looking at a Pending Notification List about the Order Status, you can always provide similar report using SAP Query Builder or with help of your Developer.
    Apart from that If the Requirement is to have these User Statuses in Notification itself, Please advice them that it will be extra activity while performing transaction.
    I dont see any other benefit of having User Statuses added to Notification as well.
    Do let me know if you have some more info on Why Customer is requesting this....
