Workset child's order

Hi,
I have a workset containing : iviews , workset , and page .
all of those elements have "Sort Priority = 100.0"
I have problem sorting those elements inside my workset
for example, if I manually order the elements like this [using "up and "down" buttons] :

iView2
Workset1
Workset2
iView3
in the user display I keep getting the result of :
iView1
Workset1
Workset2
iView2
iView3
iView2 has moved to the bottom ...
any suggestions ?

so as per my requirement i need to get all child part numbers production orders based on parent production order number and quantity i tried in MD4C and CO46 but those transactions codes are picking multiple lines also so for this requirement please give your valuable suggestions

Parent-Child post order exception; FK constraint violation

I've seen the discussion and answer recently in this forum for configuring BC4J
to post the parent first, then the child, to avoid the FK constraint exception??
So I have to appologise for re-asking, but I can't get the search function to find
any thing that needs multiple key words. :(
I've got two Entities, parent child, with Links, and Association between them on the FK.
What was the trick to get the framework to correctly post the parent first??
I've looked over the FkLink and FkAssoc and all these components are included by
the AppModule...

Edit the association object between your parent and child entities and set the "Composition" flag (Composite Assocation in the UI), to true. You may elect to enforce "CascadeDelete" option, if you have database Cascade-delete turned on between the associated tables and want to avoid multiple DMLs for the details.

hey guys
i cannot create sales order for parent child material using Below bapi(BAPI_....ORDERDAT2).
Could you please tell me if any special parameter should be set with this bapi
to create the order for PARENT MATERIAL AND child materials.
i am able to create parent-child material order using VA01. but cant using BAPI
just for information I am passing Parent materail alone to the BAPI.
can somebody give suggestion.

I have a Bill ot Material for an Item containing 6 Levels including many Phantoms ,Raw Materials and Subassemblies
I would like to create a Job order for the Parent Item only and child Job orders created automatically for all Subassmbly Items including at the BOM

I have also seek in Metalink and I have found one thread in which the solution was the following:

You need to have a few setups in place for this.
In BOM Parameters form for that Inv Org :
Pls. set Create Lower Level Supply to Auto Created Configuration Items and ATO Items. In this case if you second level Item in BOM is an ATO Item it will create WIP Job.
Also ensure that this is a make Item.
If your second level item is not ATO Item this will not create WIP Job now. This will create WIP for 2nd level only if you run MRP/ASCP.

Work Order and parent/child relationship

I have been looking into the vision instance. There is an Asset-Rebuildable relationship, that is Forklif and it's battery. If there is a work order on the forklik "replace battery" can this be done automatically, or is this all manual.
1. When I pick the new battery from stores the S/N of the battery is associated with the forklif (automatic I tested this)
2. When I say "remove the old battery" should't the old battery parent/child relationship between the parent be broken and a child work order "charge" for the battery be logged. I could not reproduce that, but queried that this is what happens in vision. Are all these supposed to be manual?

From this plan, we can't easily get the parent child relationship like autotrace. Is there a way to get like autotrace?

Report on Planned order pegged requirement

Hi
I am building a report on Parent and Child planned order.
I have 2 parent materials P1 and P2 and in both the materials I am using child material C1.
Now, P1 has planned order PP1 and P2 has planned order PP2.
At the same time, C1 also will have 2 child planned orders PPC1 for PP1 and PPC2 for PP2.
In which table or, function module will help me to trace PP1->PPC1 and PP2->PPC2; parent and child planned order relationship.

No Results after build a Parent-Child Hierarchy in OBIEE11G

Hi All:
Here's an problem. I followed the "http://sandybi.wordpress.com/2010/08/17/hierarchies-in-obiee-11g-part-1/" this article step by step to create a parent-child hierarchy in admin tool in OBIEE11G.
But after check in and try to retrieve the hierarchy data in Answer. There's always displays "No Results."
Is there any suggestions for this ? Really urgent and thanks for your help.

Aggregation with a parent child hierarchy

Hi
I have 2 tables, hierarchy and data
hierarchy has 2 columns parent and child
data contains values for the lowest rungs of the hierarchy described.
What i'd like to do is, using the hierarchy described, sum the lowest rung values up to their parent values and so on.
Quick example:
Hierarchy
child parent
1 null
2 1
3 1
4 2
5 2
Data
hiearchyid value
3 10
4 20
5 30
output required
1 60
2 50
3 10
4 20
5 30
The last 3 rows are just the 2nd table so i can just union those in but how would i work out the first two values using sql... have tried combinations of connect by, analytics (partition by etc) and rollup but to no avail...
Any help would be appreciated..

Hi, i try build a dimension with generation and parent/child option. Firts build the dimension with generation preference and after build with parent/child. I have two rules files, one with generation and other with parent/child these order, but when run the rule file for parent/child the memebers not add a dimension, why???? Saludos.

If it is first one then check whether you mentioned the rul file name or the outline name to create the dimension name. If the issue is the 2nd one then check whether you had chosen the method of dimension memeber creation (generation/level/parent-child). The default is Generation build. Direct production\ collective order cancellation

i have a problem while dealing with collective order network schenario.
i have 2 levels of collective order network e.g. A is parent order and B is child order.
now as soon as i confirm the sub\child B order the header material for taht perticular order has 101 and 261 movement automatically,
i.e. as soon as 101 is done for child order's(B) header material which is a non stockable material is also gets consumed(261) for header order\ parent order A.
but while confirming the header order A, the header material of order B(which is non stockable material) is not there in goods movement screen.
now while cancelling the orders A i don't have order B's header material in component list so that perticular material will not be cancelled so no 262 for that material.
now when i try to cancel order B i get an error for order B's header material that deficit of sales order stock.
how to deal with such problem?
and i also want to know something about collective orders and special procurement key 52 with respect to order confirmation and cancellation..

Now the Reply for the Application of Collective Order
Normally we have a Header Item Fert and Child items Halbs
For Example If a BOM for a Fert contains 5 Halb materials and below some ROH
Here what happens in discrete scenario 6 production orders can be created 1 for Fert and 5 for Halb
so as a usual practive we have Release the Halb orders, GI for ROH , Confirmation of Halbs,GR for Halbs,.... then
similar thing for Fert
Now as the Halb is inhouse item and manufacturing parellely, the process of Relasing ,confirming ,GR are difficult process, you want to control through the Header Material
So we want
1) If i release the Fert Material the Bom Assy components (inhouse) below with collective order setting has to Relases Automatically
2) If i confirm the Fert Material the the Bom Assy components (inhouse) below with collective order setting has to Confired Automatically
3) The GR has to takes place automatically for Halb items(without any document) you can't see the stock of halb also it will always show "0"
4) For the ROH below Halb a reservation will be generated those you can control manually or through Backflush
So the setting required is
Fert item keep Procurement =E
For the bom halb items where you want collective order keep Procurement =E and special Procurement =52
it will work

Automatic Sub Order confirmation in Collective Order

Hello, I am using collective order, and have the 'HEADER' order and all child orders released. Our requirement is that once the Main Header order is reported confirmed, ALL child production orders should be auto confirmed as well. (we could have MANY child orders under the header order). I tried using the OPKI setting for collective entry to 'Order Header' but it is greyed out in the change mode during config. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

If you're doing the confirmation of parent order (leading order) at header level (meaning you use CO15) then you can only confirm that particular order and not any child order. If you want the child orders to be confirmed also after completely confirming you'd have to change the control key of last operation of routing in leading material as milestone and use CO11 or CO11N and just confirm the last operation, it will automatically confirm all the operations in the leading order and all the sub orders (child orders). I don't think your OPKI setting will solve the issue.
Production orders that belong to collective orders are generally confirmed like normal production orders. However, you should note the following:
    When you carry out a confirmation at header or suboperation level, you can only confirm the order concerned.
    When you confirm at operation level, you can confirm operations for all orders as long as you work with milestone operations or progress confirmations.
    When there is a confirmation in the collective order, the system sets the status CFCO (release occurred in network) at the header level of the leading order in the collective order.
