Wrong Development class in Transport request

Hi Gurus,
I had to change the Info OBject to meet the business requirement(Enabled Text Master Data). While creating transport request, I enteres wrong development calss in treansport requset. No transport request were released to QA. Now how to fix this issue, I mean How to enter the right Development class for the Info Object?
Thanks in advance.

dear Raj,
you can change the development class/package with
rsd1 (for characteristic), rsd2 (keyfigures),
type in your infoobject name, and click button 'object directory entry' in top menu, in next screen click pencil icon ('change/display' F6) and choose/type in the right development class/package and 'save'.
hope this helps.

  • Capturing ABAP Class in Transport Request

    Hi ,
Can anyone please tell me how to capture ana ABAP Class in transport request . IT first gave me an error saying :
'ZCL_PHX_MANUAL_SAVE===========CO  missing then after capturing that , now it is giving me an error message saying
    'ZCL_PHX_MANUAL_SAVE===========CI missing.
Can someone suggest me the correct method by which i can captur my class in request and transport it to Production.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Vijay Sanklecha.

    Hello Vijay,
If your class name is ZCL_PHX_MANUAL_SAVE. Then SAP genereates its own includes for private, public and protected sections . Those are the includes that you have mentioned here.
Right mehtod for including the class in a request is
    Go to Se80
Give your class name anf right click
Choose other functions-> write transport entry

  • ChaRM - Developer cannot create transport request

    Hi, I have 2 questions.
1 - We have a Request for Change created, after the change got approved, this created the Normal Change document. Is this the way it should work?
2 - After the Approval, the developer logs in to create the transport request. The system and client is disabled ad the short description comes with some weird text. We have a solution created and the solution has the development system within the logical component in it. Please help..
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi Jim,
There is a context node error in your screen (BTAICTRANSPORTH not bound). Please check the following in your system:
Call transaction 'BSP_WD_CMPWB', enter the UI component name AIC_CM_TRANS_CR and choose display.
    Open up the node 'Views'.
Double-click on view AIC_CM_TRANS_CR/TransportReqPage1. You will come to a view detail screen.
On the right hand side open up the node 'View Layout' in the tree and double-click on the htm page TransportReqPage1.htm.
    Choose tab 'Page attributes'.
Please check if you see BTTRANSREQ as in the picture below:

  • Attaching Package and transport request for existing SAPScript

    Hi!
I require to attach development class and transport request in one existing SAPScript. Can anyone please suggest how to do?
    Thanks and regards,
    Atanu

    Hi Atanu,
You can try following two methods -
       1. Display SAPSCRIPT and use option goto -> Object directory entry and change the "Package".
       2. If that is not allowed, try using Txn. SE03 and try changing Object directory entry from there.
If you assign a package which is transportable, system will prompt you for a transportable request.
    Cheers,

Individual objects could not be transported successfully.)
The development class for this request consists of some screens and a message class. All are active (except message class)
Why do I get this error and How to come over it?

  • Problem in tables of transport request !!!!

    Hi all,
When i doing the Charm Process....nd during that when the developer generates the transport request....at that time that tp request appears in table /tmwflow/trordhc but it does not appear in /tmwflow/track .... nd after releasing the subtasks and then finally the whole transport request....at that point also it does not appear in /tmwflow/track ..... after this when the basis person pass that transport request to quality....then the /tmwflow/track shows 1 record for that transport request.....so finally after the whole flow /tmwflow/track will show 2 records for that transport request i.e 1 of quality and 1 of production....logically 'dev' record should also be there.....what i am noticing is after few hours like 2 or 3 hours that development record started appearing in table /tmwflow/track .... so is it a problem in configuration of solution manager or this sudden appearance of dev record is ok....coz ive to build a report in which it displays the tracking of tp requests....
    Any suggestions would be helpful...
    Regards,
    Deadlocks

    Hey deadlocks,
many ChaRM tables are updated as Fernando said when cmssyscol job finished.
I guess those 2/3 hours correspond to the time u waited before the job runned. The transaction solar_eval and a couple of others allow u updating data as well.
U have to know that this job may sometimes/quite often give unsupected/missing data; and also delayed. The best you can do is simply read the tr log using a function modul and interpretate info concerning the transport requests
        CALL FUNCTION 'TRINT_TDR_USER_COMMAND'
          EXPORTING
            iv_object  = lv_object
            iv_type    = ls_sel_node-type
            iv_command = lv_command
          IMPORTING
            ev_exit    = pv_exit.
    LV_OBJECT                                             SLMK900004
    LS_SEL_NODE-TYPE                                     REQU
    LV_COMMAND                                             TAST
    for example.
You can debug log reading in SE01 and put a watchpoint on instruction 'CALL FUNCTION'. It is the second one.
This will display log on screen
    Good luck
    Khalil

  • Transport request's

    hi Frds,
plz light on the transport request purpose, importance and procedures in sap implementations, if any doc available with screen shots plz mail to [email protected]
thanks in advance and good day guys
    thanks

    Dear Mohan.M,
For more information about the SAP Change and Transport System (CTS), visit the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/57/38ddff4eb711d182bf0000e829fbfe/frameset.htm
Transport Request is generated in following scenarios:
    1. Customizing Request - When doing or changing some customization.
    2. WorkBench Request - When configuration is cross-client. Eg Generating new Table, making changes in access sequence, Abap development, etc.
Transport request is not generated for Master Data. For eg: Customer Master, Material Master, price master, etc.
    Benefit of Transport Request:
SAP Landscape normally has 3- Tier system:
Development Server - Where customization takes place. Transport request is generated at this level & then first transported to Quality server for testing whether it meets the requirement or not. Once the requirement is met in Quality server then Request is transported from Development Server to Production Server (Actual / Live System)
Quality Server - Mainly useful for testing.
Production Server Actual / Live server, where the real transactions are created & posted.
Procedure to Release & Transport Request:
    1. In development server, go to T.Code: SE10 & select the check box Modifiable & enter
    2. In the next screen, you will see list of transport request created.
Note: Transport request consist of main request along with sub request. These sub request hold the object to be transported.
    3. Expand the main request & you will be able to view the sub requests attached to main request.
    4. First release the sub requests.
Note: To release the request, select the request ni & click on release request individually (Do not select release all request)
    5. Next release main request.
    6. Once the request is released sucessfully, imform the basis person to import the request to QA server.
    or
If the authority is with you, through T.Code: STMS, select development server --> select request no & release to QA server. Here when it pops up client no, user id & password, maintain it of QA server & release the request to QA server.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • Regarding development class in BAPI.

    Hi All,
i want to know whether we actaully need a development class while creating a BAPI?
suppose if we save BAPI in local object and if we want to realese that BAPI,is that possible?or in other words does the dev class has anything to do with the release of BAPI?
    Thanks ,

    Hi,
Though the 3rd pary application is going to call the BAPI which you are going to created in DEV system, still you need to assign a development class and transport the BAPI to Testing/Production system.
    1. If you do not create a transport for the BAPI, then BAPI would be available only in DEV system. So the 3rd party application should logon to DEV system and call your BAPI.
    2. If BAPI is transported to Production ( If you create and release the TR), then 3rd party application will logon to PROD system and call your BAPI.
For more info : RFC( SAP R/3)  to  XI  to  3rd party Application

  • Transport request / Object - showing repair

    Dear All,
We have copy some of infocube object from other system to our existing development sever thru transport request.
Now when we are doing some change in object and creating request.  Within the  request object no is coming as a repair . but it allow to release the both
Can you please suggest to resolve this problem .. ?
    Regards
    Vimal pathak

When new created objects are added to Transport Request, they appear under Development Task and when existing objects are changed and collected in transport, they appear under Repair Task. This is not a problem and a usual behaviour with repect to Transports. So this is not a issue.

  • Automatic release of transport requests created in Customizing distribution

    Hi,
We have a lot of productive systems in our company (one for each division) with their own T and Q system. We want to make sure that certain customizing is synchronized across the systems (e.g. account assignment groups). I am hoping that we can use customizing distribution for this.
I have managed to setup customizing distribution so that when I create a new account assignment group in one development system the transport request is copied to the other development systems. However, I do not want to have to go to each development system and release the transport manually to Q and P. I want it so that when I release the transport from the development system I created the customizing in then the corresponding transports in the other dev. systems are also released. And when I approve my request in one Quality system then the same happens in the other quality systems.
    Is this possible? And how?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Anders

on the push button hit you write code to modify the entry in the database table with a status to release... and hit star popup star in se37 for popup function module.

  • Transport request for development class

    Hello folks,
I have a development class (AKA package) containing e.g. one program, one message class and one function group. The function group contains one function module (as well as its associated includes).
I'd like to write a transport request with <i>all</i> the objects of this development class, because I'd like to easily import all the development class' functionality in another system. I mean, in this specific situation I'd include the <i>function module</i> itself as well as the function group.
Unfortunately, when I select the <i>write transport request</i> entry from the development class' context menu (transaction SE80, <i>object navigator</i>), and I specify that I want to transport all the objects in the development class (and not just the development class itself), it doesn't work as I'd like. Just the program, the function group and the message class are written in the request. The function module is not included.
Is there a way to automatically perform sort of a <i>recursive</i> selection, so I can write in a request all the objects associated (at whatever level) with a development class?
    Regards, Davide
    [2006/09/06-15:30 Message was edited]

    Hello Naimesh, hi Max,
I'm not sure about your suggestions.
When I initially write all the development cass' objects in a request, the function group is written in that. Are <i>all</i> the objects of the function group written in that request, as well?
The thing is that when I manually write the function module in that request, the function module is consequently shown in the <i>transport organizer</i>. Therefore I suspect that the function module (i.e. the include <i><FUN_GRP_NAME>U01</i>) has not been automatically written at the beginning.
    So basically my question is:
When I write a function group to a request, is the include <i><FUN_GRP_NAME>UXX</i> written to that? And is the include <i><FUN_GRP_NAME>U01</i> (and all the others) also included?
    Cheers, Davide

  • Need to change the local change request to development class for Process Ch

    Hello ,
I have created a Tranport request for Process chain but its saved as local change request .
Please suggest how to change that .
    Thanks ,
    Rahul

    Hi
1.First delete the request which you collected the process chain as local object becuase you will not able to collect the process chian again.
    2. Goto Tranport connector to collect the process chain again.
    3. Select grouping option as necessary objects.
    4. Drag and drop the process chain to the right hand side
    5. After collecting the process chain, click on the package icon and give the package created for development class.
    6. The system will ask for Transport request and save the PC in the Transport Request.
    Hope it helps.

  • Open transport request in Development server which is not moved to Producti

    HI All,
    I am doing upgrade from ECC5.0 to ECC6. EHP4.
We have some open Transport request in development server which are not moved to PRD.
Now client wants to stabilize their both the systems, want to compare each trasport in PRD.
My question is, if they dont want that request to move to PRD, what we have to do?
We have to delete the tranport and select the active version of tranport which is there in PRD or how.
Please suggest me how to proceed for this scenario. we have lot of transports. ( Tables, programs, classes, methods, etc.,)
    Regards,
    sarath

    Hello Sarath,
1st question: did you already finish your upgrade? If not, at which phase is it at?
2nd: did you upgrade your DEV system already to the same level as PRD?
3rd: were these transports generated in an old version (like ECC 5.0)? If yes, and now you have an ECC 6.0 system, you must not import them on this system, as they have different versions. If you do it, you'll make your system inconsistent.
Please clarify on these points so we can help you.
    Best regards,
    Tomas Black
