Wrong exchange rate is transferred from CRM to ERP R3 via BDoc.
Hi All,
In CRM system, whenever quantity contract(QC) is created, it is sent to R3 with all details via Bdocs
Exchange rate of QC which is present in CRM is different than in R3.
But when same contract is opened in R3 in change moce and do some changes it re determine the correct exchnage rate and updates the same in contract.
But again when same contract is changed in CRM then again updates are sent to R3 with previous wrong exchnage rate.
Please tell how to see which exchnage rate is available in Bdocs at the time of sending.
Why is it not updating as per the exchange rates in R3.
Please give your valuable inputs on this.
Regards,
Prashant
Hi,
Yes We checked the Bdoc. Currency rate is correct in CRM side but when it is sent to ECC, it changed to something else value which does not exist in TCURR table of both systems.

Wrong Exchange Rate in Imports Purchase Order.
Hi
While creating the Imports Purchase Order, the system is picking up the wrong Exchange Rate.
We have maintained the Exchange Rate as
Exch. Rate Type: M
From currency: EUR
To Currency: INR
01.03.2010 - 70.35000
01.02.2010 - 66.15000
But when we are creating the Purchase Order, the system is picking up 44.17
Why the system is behaving like this?
Note: there is a entry in the system as follows:
EURX INR EUR 01.01.2001 /44.17000
Is this related with this?
Please advice.
Regards,Hi all,
You may check in OBBS first for " M EUR INR", you can see field "Alt. ERT".
For your case, the "Alt. ERT" should be assigned with EURX, thus system will read
OB08 for entry "EURX EUR INR".
You may also refer to note 128809 and note 135661 for some details.
Thanks and regards,

Please advice how i can reverse the material document exactly with same exchange rates as it done for GR or How i will settle this difference amount.

Wrong exchange rates entered and documents posted need to be updated
Hi Friends,
We have a situation where wrong exchange rates were entered at the end of month and lots of documents were posted with the wrong exchange rates. All these documents need to be updated with the correct exchange rate. But system will not allow changing the exchange rate in already posted documents. One option is to do mass reversal of all the documents posted, change exchange rates to correct rates and then repost all the documents with the correct exchange rate. Is there any other better option or SAP Program available to update exchange rates in all these documents instead of doing reversal and reposting?
Thanks and regards,
PinkyHello,
You can do foreign currency valuation (for Vendors/ Customer/ GL balances) through TCODE: F.05 or FAGL_FC_VAL. This will ensure that as at the period end, your open items are currectly valuated. This will post the exchange difference to P&L & B/s and will automatically give you the correct picture as at the period end.
If there are lot of entries posted then Foreign Currency Valuation will be a good option. This will save lot of time in reversing and reposting all the incorrect entries.

Exchange rate should pick from TCURR based on custom date field added in MIGO
Hi,
In MIGO, FI document get posted by picking exchange rate based on the posting date. Through BADI(MB_DOCUMENT_BADI) we have added a field called translation date in MIGO screen, while doing GRN exchange rate should pick from TCURR based on translation date instead of posting date. We have tried this logic using substitution (GGB1) in FI accounting it is working fine in FB60 & F-02 transaction but it is not working with MIGO transaction. Please suggest some solution for this.
Thanks & Regards
Vinoth Kumar.MHi Maniraj,
This will a modification to existing system and it is not supported directly.
There are 2 notes of SAP for modification of translation date of BKPF.
SAP Note 574583 will activate a BADI kindly refer to it for details.
http://www.stechno.net/sap-notes.html?view=sapnote&id=574583
There is another one but is appilcable if material ledger is active in the system

Wrong Exchange rate on the Contract (ME31K
Dear Sap Guru
I am writing to you in order to know if there is a solution to our problem.
The scenario is quite easy:
1 u2013 Suppose to insert a wrong exchange rate during the Contract creation (tcode ME31K)
2 u2013 When you will create the scheduling agreement (ME31L) based on the Contract, the wrong exchange rate will be copied to the SK.
3 u2013 The GR based on the SK will be valuated to the wrong exchange rate.
About the point 1 and 3 there is a way to check the difference with the current exchange rate, like a tolerance limit for the Exchange rate?
About the point 3 is it possible to set the system in order to value the GR based on the current exchange rate instead to use the exchange rate stored in the purchase order.
Please let me know if you need more information in order to find a solution.

Wrong exchange rate entered for MRC conversion. How to correct it?
Oracle GL with MRC instance
RDBMS : 9.2.0.5.0
Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2
We entered wrong exchange rate in daily rates for MRC conversion for APR-11 period. Users already posted 5000 je lines in local currency which have been booked in MRC books with the wrong exchange rate.
Is it possible to reverse those JEs and then correct the exchange rate and re-enter the period JEs?
Is there another alternative?
In AR there are some invoices and payments but no accounting process have been executed. If we correct the x-rate and then run Payables Accounting Process will those transactions be accounted with the correct x-rate?
Any advice will be welcome.
Francisco.First thing is, "Maintain Masterdata" option is disabled for 0RTYPE, because Master / Text data is not enabled for this object. This is the only reason, why system does not allow you to maintain the master data.
Regarding the SID error, have you restricted the 0RTYPE with the 9165 in your query?

Transfer of Employee responsible from CRM to ERP
Hello,
I've replicated employees from ERP to CRM. I create a new corporate account in CRM. I assign an Employee Responsible. On the relationship, I assign a sales area and the partner function Sales Representative. I also maintain other sales area data like payment terms. I transfer the account from CRM to ERP. The Sales Representative is not transferred to the partner function PE in the customer master in ERP. Why not?
I have done the following IMG-settings:
IMG: Customer Relationship Management => Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from SAP ECC into CRM
Partner function ERP Partner function CRM
VE (PE) 00000014 Employee Responsible (CRM)
IMG: Customer Relationship Management => Basic Functions => Partner Processing => Data Transfer => Distribution of Partner Functions from CRM into SAP ECC
Partner function CRM Partner function ERP Type ERP
00000014 VE PE
When I at a later stage edit the customer in VD02 in ERP, I add partner function VE manually.
When I then open the account in CRM, the sales representative added in ERP appears with the relationship "Has the Responsible Business Partner", CRMH06. I would have expected it to be "Has the Employee Responsible".
Any ideas are greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Johan WigertHello
Presently i am working on the same scenario, where i am trying to add employee in ECC and want to have the same BP in CRM under relationship tab as Employee Responsible but i am getting the following bdoc error
BP relationship C8323A4AA5D53555E1000000A05CCCAD 496E713643771182E1000000A05CCCAF BUR011: following errors occurred
Message no. BUPA_MW_EXCHANGE020
Relationship IEQ0002007496 IEQHR10048702 IEQ0000000000000000 do not exist
I maintianed the said custo settings in CRM with rel cat BUR011
Note: Employee number in ECC is say.. 9999 but in CRM the same employee is replicated as HR9999,hence will this creates any problem for relationship not to replicate from ECC TO CRM.
please let me know what needs to be corrected

Settings for transactions replication from CRM to ERP
Hi,
Can you explain or point to documentation on what settings we need to configure in CRM and ERP side to replicate the transactions such as quotation, Sales Order etc from CRM to ERP?
As I understand we can use Adapter Business objects in CRM to transfer the ERP documents to CRM transactions?
What is the method for transferring in the other direction?
What are the customization things we need to maintain in both systems? Such as having the same transaction and item category types defined in both systems etc..
Please clarify this replication process.
ThanksTake a look at the following notes:
620139
642944
888665
889051
And for replication of customazing and data take a look at building blocks B09 and C03.
However be aware that you will have to create transaction types and item category types on CRM, because this customazing can't be synchronized from ERP. So it has to be done manualy.

How to transfer hierarchy level 1 or level 2 in Contract from CRM to ERP?
Hi, Pro,
I face a requirement that hierarchy in contract transfer from CRM to ERP by RFC, but the material number what we wanna to entry are maintained in hierarchy 3. Therefore after you entry the hierarchy 1 or 2 that not 3, it occur an error warning stop the process.
Since I test manual entry a hierarchy by added a character '*" behind, it save and successfully archived that can using hierarchy 1, 2 and 3. I thought I solved the problem. But our ERP source is from CRM, so the only confuse me is that it can not transfer character '*' from crm to erp when it accour error like can match the hierarchy '12345*' .
Pls help me solve this solution.
Thanks a lot.
LorryI am using the bapi BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATEFROMDATA and BAPI_CUSTOMERCONTRACT_CHANGE.

Prevent replication of Contact Person from CRM to ERP
Hello,
we replicate business partner with role "Solt-to Party" from CRM to ERP.
But we want to prevent that the contact person of the Sold-tp Party is relicated too.
How we can realize this?
Thanks for help
Ronald PloßHello,
I have changed both objects (BUPA_MAIN / BUPA_REL) to Simple intelligent (msg). But in BUPA_REL you can only filter on BPARTNER.
In the scenario we need BUPA_REL for the replication of Employee responsible.
Thanks and regards

CRM exchange rate delta download from ECC
Hi experts,
We are trying to download the exchange rate from ECC for the delta scenario. I've tried to schedule a job to run the program SMOF_DOWNLOAD with Object DNL_CUST_BASIS3, but it comes up with an err, which says "Error 004 DNL_CUST_BASIS3: No Initial Load if data distribution is active. Use Synchron. Load". Will anyone advice how to achieve the delta download for exch rate from ECC to CRM or what i did wrong in the program execution?
Rgs, MichelleHi,
you can check the object DNL_CUST_BASIS3 by t-code:R3AC3,
Delete Function COMPARE, Then can load again and check

Wrong Exchange rate for Import PO with past Condition Price date
Hi
We do update Exchange rate type "M" on daily basis, but exchange rate in Import PO is wrong. While creating import PO, the PBXX condition automatically obtain the "exchange rate" with Old "condition price date" despite the Table "TCURR" has maintained updated data. Why system behavior is like this?
As per our requirement, system should obtain the data based on PO date. Kindly help with your experiences.
PrashantHi Biswajit,
Use the user parameter EVO to indicate that no price adoption from last Purchase Order must take place:
IMG: MM -> Purchasing -> Environment data -> Default values for Buyers -> Setting for Default values.
Select or setup a default value and on the "price adoption" tab you may choose how copying of conditions from last purchase order must behave. Select "Do not copy". Then assign this default value to the user, using the EVO parameter.

Meet a problem of data exchange for sale order from CRM to R3.
Dear Friends:
I do the data exchange for sale oder from to R3 today , the problem's detail is as follows:
When i save a sale order in CRM (Version is 5.0) . it can automatically generate a bdoc which bdoc type is BUS_TRANS_MSG. but the bdoc status alway is "Sent to receivers (not all have confirmed)". and the original order in CRM can not be change .it quote that "Document is being distributed - changes are not possible", so i check the order status analysis in detail .it presents two error messages ," Event 'BEFORE_CHANGE', attribute ' FINI': Error code for function module 'CRM_STATUS_BEFORE_COMPLETED_EC' , "Item is not yet completed in OLTP system". so i check the order in R/3 ,it has already been create and without any error messages.
Would like to tell me how to solve it . thanks your any idear..Hi Benjamin,
When performing uploads to R/3 from CRM there is a response from the OTLP system that is sent back to the CRM Middleware to confirm that the data records were received and processed correctly.
Here is a checklist you can run through to verfiy that the connections, systems and objects that are needed are all in place:
<b>On R/3 system:</b>
- Check R/3 outbound queue (transaction SMQ1) for any entries that are not reaching CRM.
- Check that all RFC destinations on R/3 are defined correctly and are pointing to CRM
- Check the CRMCONSUM table in R/3 to ensure CRM is registered as a consumer
- Check the CRMRFCPAR table in R/3 to ensure that order objects are valid for exchange between R/3 and CRM
- Check for any short dumps in R/3 (ST22/ST21)
<b>On CRM:</b>
- Are there entries stuck in the inbound queue (SMQ2) with R3AU* names?
- What does the CRM Middleware Trace show (SMWT)? Sometimes this has more detail than the specific BDoc overview (SMW01)
- Check for short dums in CRM (ST22)
Let us know what else you uncover and we can work from there.

Exchange Rate difference recovory from vendor
Hi Expers,
We have an issue with our client over the below issue .
A Canadaina Plant created a PO with Hungary vendor with HUF as currency in the PO , During PO creation there an exchange rate say X1 ( Exchange Rate not fixed ) . Due to some reasons the GR is done lately after four months from the PO date creation and after the invoice is done .Invoice is done after the three months of PO creation date .and during the GR/Invoice creation the exchange rate is X2 .
Sytem posted with X2 exchange rate by not considering the X1 rate . Thease delay in making the GR/MIKRO errors causing the client to pay excess amounts to the vendor and he want to get them back now .
Requested to advice in which process he can get from the vendor and how to see that the GR to get posted with the old x1 rate for all those posted POs .
Regards,
Message was edited by, removed the unwanted terms: Jürgen LI hope you misunderstood the facts.
if the exchange rate is not fixed, then it is not taken into account when invoice or GR is posted.
If the GR was posted after the invoice, then the goods receipt is valuated by the invoice value.
You did not overpay the vendor, because you pay the vendor in the currency of the invoice, and this amount is just equal to the amount you ordered, the difference is just somewhere in your own books
