Wrong scale selected in pricing

Hello everyone.
Did you ever stumble over a problem like this?
We have here a customer-added field to material master data. It is stored in a separate table, together with a lot of other additional information, but that is a 1:1 relation to materials.
We have defined scale prices depending on this new field, so we fill the field in KOMP in userexit_pricing_prepare_tkomp.
Unfortunately, the system sometimes remembers the wrong field value from a previous order position and selects the wrong scale list BEFORE the userexit is processed.
I'm on this problem for several days now and i am very frustrated...
Does anybody know some pricing userexits that are processed earlier that the above one?
Or any other problem solving ideas?

Printing from Explorer context menu prints in wrong scale

Hi,
I have a problem with a customer; when they right-click a PDF file and choose "Print" from Explorer context menu the actual printout is sometimes printed in the wrong scale, ie it looks zoomed. The same problem exists when printing PDF's from other applications as well, for example Outlook. If they print the same PDF one more time (by right-click-printing) the problem may resolve itself. Sometimes it's enough to print twice, other times they need to do it more times. The problem exists in several computers, which is why i want it to be a problem with some default-settings in Adobe Reader.
What might cause this behavior ?

So, 4 years have passed, and one would hope the problem solved itself in some update the last 4 years.
However, it has not. (Well, actually it was fixed for a short while. Then it broke again:()
I do have some fresh information that can help you devs at Adobe to maybe get closer to a solution.
Just before christmas (nov 22) i was doing a new attempt to solve the problem.
At the time Reader XI had been released, but not yet installed at the client. Crossing my fingers and praying to higher powers i downloaded XI and gave it a shot; and the problem actually went away! My theory was that finally some architectual change had been implemented; or parts of Reader had been rewritten for any reason. Anyhow, the problem was gone after nearly 4 years and both me and the client was happy!
Today the client called again. The PDF-printouts are zoomed again. Worse than ever. Now, EVERY PDF that's printed was getting zoomed (if printed from another program.). When printing, Reader flashes by the screen; so i guess the app does something like "adobe.exe /print %temp%\whatever.pdf" or however it works.
I immediately suspected that an update had been installed and broke the Reader again. This was the case. 11.0.06 had been auto-installed last week. After searching adobe site for 30 minutes i finally found the downloads required to get 11.0.05 installed and running again. *poof* problem gone. Every print is good.
SOO..
11.0.05 does not contain the bug that makes most printouts zoomed. (WORKS)
11.0.06 contains the bug again. (DOES NOT WORK)
So, whatever changes are in that update broke the Reader for the client again.
ADOBE: Hope this gets u closer to a solution!
PEOPLE: If you are experiencing the same problem as my client, please try my solution. It just might help you.

2-dimensional scale for a pricing condition

Hi,
Need your Expertise please. We would like to implement 2-dimensional scale for a pricing condition.
We have found a decision as use Reference condition type (RefAppl 'F').
It works but we can't define Condition base value for the determination of value according quantity of item.
Could you advise the decision... ?

Wrong path selection

Hi all,
In my BMM I have different fact tables that share the same dimensions. For example:
DimA and DimB are connected to 2 fact tables:
DimA ---(FactA
DimB ---(FactA
DimC ---(FactA
DimA ---(FactB
DimB ---(FactB
So I put in the PL these dimension in 2 different subject area, SA_A for the FactA and SA_B for FactB.
In the SA_A I put in the query some fields from DimA and DimB, but if I don't select also any field from the DimC, I got a wrong result in BI Answer because it uses the FactB to make join, but if I use also some fields of DimC in the query then I got the correct result.
It could be useful to tell you that I didn't use any mapping between dimension and logical level in the Content Tab of the LTS of each dimension and fact, beacuse I don't know how it could fix my problem.
Please give me some tips to solve this issue!

Hi Nazza,
I think you have to specify the content level in the content level tab in a LTS. For each dimension A, B and C, you should specify the dimensional level at which your LTS is. So for instance, if DimA is time dimension and LTS contains data at month level of dimA, specify month against DimA in content level tab of your LTS.

Wrong vendor selection while shopping from vendors catalog

Hi,
Shopping cart has been created visiting vendors catalog but system created shopping cart on wrong vendor. This issue is not frequent but need to analysis/fix.
For example, selected the items in Dell catalog but in shopping cart the vendor is CDW.
Will appreciate your help if any one have faced such issue. We are on SRM 7.0.

Please check the supplier number under : Strategic Purchasing --> Business partner in purchaser log in for which you want to create the SC from catalog and assign that number of supplier to catalog item in data manager.

JMF, Linux, wrong codec selected when using jarred version of app

I have problem realising an AVI player when I try and run Linux JMF application when whole application is bundled into jar file and I try and run it using

Scale selected objects

Hi guys
I would like to know if there's an easy way for this situation:
I have 5 rectangles of the same size placed on different locations on my spreadsheet. Is there an easy way to scale them all to the same width or height by selecting them all and giving in the measurements? The main goal is that I don't have to select them each apart and give in the measurements 5 time, but also that I don't need to put them back on their location?
Do you understand what I mean?

Not quite all at once, but for objects on the same spread you can select and transform one, then select the rest, Object > Transform Again > Transform Sequence Again Indiviually. If you don't do anything else in between it amy also work if you change spreads and select new objects.

ITunes: song offered/wrong country selection

I offered from iTunes Store a song to someone but I didn't selected the right country so, the country was wrong and download is impossible.
How to solve this, when the present is already purchased?

Correct. Your credit balance would not be transferrable to another country's iTunes Store, and you would not (by the terms of use) be able to continue to use the Australian iTunes Store. So it's probably not practical for a single song. Either get someone with an Australian iTunes Store account to gift you the song, or pick it up on CD (which is expensive for a single song, but less expensive than buying an entire gift card for just one track).

Wrong App selected by a File

How to I delete the application a file somehow selected to open it when it's the wrong one? How to re-select 'None'?

First, I'm not totally sure what your ultimate goal is. That is to say, did you want to have your python scripts to be opened in a specific text editor, to be opened by a python interpreter, other?
If you really want to change the type association so that double clicking on the python scripts should do nothing, you could try using RCDefaultApp

which has an Extensions -> <Disable> option, however, it is not the same as the original <none>. But it does stop anything from happening when you double click on the file with that .type
If you want a specific text editor launched (Fraise, TextWranger, etc...), that is easy, and I figure you would already have handled that.
If you want double-clicking to run your python script then you could create an Automator workflow.app that takes the double-clicked file and invokes the python interpreter. Something like the "Run Shell Script" Automator action taking the argument (that should be the double clicked file name) and passing it to the python interpreter.

Then you can associate all that saved Automator workflow.app and use Get Info to associate your python scripts with that app that invokes the python interpreter.
If you need to have a Terminal session running when double clicking on a python script, you could write a different Automator workflow.app that has the Run Shell Script action invoke Terminal running your python script using something like:
open -a Terminal python "$@"
Of course I have not actually tested this, and until I knew for sure what you ultimate goal was, I not sure more time should be invested here.

Scale selection to document height, and center on width+height of page

I've got little experince with ID-scripting. Can anyone help me out here? It should be really simple
What I'm doing now is pasting my graphics and then check the doc height in the 'Document Setup' and type the doc height in mm in the scale-height field. (Not the height field, 'caus i want it all of my selection to scale evenly!)
Then i center horizontaly and verticaly.
Shouldn't this be easy to script? I hope so. Thx!

It is curious, that if I remove comment from the last but one line, the select has bee succesfully done -

Wrong views Selected when using LSMW + Recording

Hi,
I use LSMW + Recording method to extend warehouse management view, and it works fine in the DEV system, but when the LSME projrct was imported into QA system, the system selected wrong views at the begining when running this LSMW object, the WM 1 and WM 2 view should be selected, but in QA system, instead, only Accounting view is selected, what's the reason? Kindly please advise.

The reason is the dynamic on the view selection.
Depending on the already maintained other views (like sales and purchasing and storage location) the position of WM 1+2 changes.
Instead of recording MM01 you should record MMZ1 as this has a static place for WM views.
But even better is to use report RLMG0020.

Wrongly option select to validate the signature

i had wrongly validate the signature of pdf by selecting "signed documents or data" instead of "certified documents" in import contact settings tab. Now, how to change these?

Goto Selection Text and in Text window infront of that selection text make text field blank..

Motion 4.0.3 - export problem - wrong compressor selected

Greetings all,
Have just run into a puzzling glitch when trying to export a movie direct from Motion.
When I click the Options button in the Export dialogue box, the compressor that is set in the Compressor dropdown of the Video section (under the Video/Audio tab) does not match the preset I selected in the Export box.
If I select the correct compressor in the dropdown, then click OK, the Export dialogue box now tells me I'm using a different compressor. If I then click Options again, the correct compressor is shown in the dropdown, but if I click Advanced, The compression type is now wrong! If I set the correct compression type in the Advanced (compression settings) box, then click OK, the Compressor reverts to the incorrect one again!
I appreciate this might sound very confusing, so I'll spell out some specific examples:
Compressor selected in the Compressor dropdown of the Video section under the Video/Audio tab: Video
Compression Type being used under Advanced (compression settings): Apple ProRes 4444
Compressor selected: Apple ProRes 4444
Compression Type used: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ)
Compressor selected: Sorenson Video
Compression Type used: H.264
Compressor selected: H.264
Compression Type used: DVCPro HD 720p50
You get the picture. So, the Export Preset always matches the Compression Type used under Advanced but not the Compressor selected in Options.
This glitch has only just appeared in my setup, and I can't think of any obvious cause. I've tried trashing Prefs but no joy.

Probably best if I explain further with a couple of screen shots (I've blurred the background to highlight the issues).
In the first shot below, you can see that the selected preset in the Export dialogue box is Apple ProRes 4444 Movie, and it lists this as the compressor in the text details just below. However when Options is clicked, it lists the compressor as 'Video'. Upon clicking Advanced, the Compression type is shown as correct, Apple ProRes 4444.
If I export the file under these conditions I do indeed get a ProRes 4444 file.
In the second shot, I have changed the Compressor in Export Options from Video to ProRes 4444 and you can see that the Compression type under Advanced has changed to ProRes 422 (HQ).
Upon hitting OK, you can see in the Export box that the selected preset now shows as 'customised' and the compressor listed underneath is ProRes 422 (HQ).
If I export the file under these conditions I get a ProRes 422 (HQ) file.
