Wrong selection of Production line in MFBF.

Hi PP Gurus,
We are having one SFG say 'X' containing three production version say 001,002, and 003 for production line PL-1000, PL-2000, and PL3000 with same Receiving storage location. We are usingh standard REM profile 0002-Final backflush w. activities with all other PP master data correctly.
While doing backflush for production version 001 system is giving right Production line i.e. PL-1000 for posting activities. But we are trying for the same for Production version 002 or 003 system is though populating/exploding proper/right BOm as per production version but it is giving production line 'PL-1000' for these versi

Dear Arbaba,
Check with this & let me know where you are struck up.
1.Material X(FERT) initially with BOM Alt1 & Rate routing 1 or say (prod.Line 1) I create a Production
version >product Cost Collector>Pre.Cost Estimate-->Data saved.
Now say in REM profile 0001---> 0001 - GI backflush at GR Posting & for cost Accounting the radio button
for Backflush using standard cost estimate for the material.Now let's assume initially this REM profile is
assigned in the material master.
2.I'm creating a different Rate routing and assigning Prod.Line2 for this.--->second production version --->
product Cost Collector>pre.Cost Estimate->Data Saved.
3.Now create a new REM profile say 0004 - with GI backflush at GR Posting & for cost accounting select
the radio button Using Data from Preliminary Costing for Product Cost Collector.
4.Now assign this new REM profile in the material Master say 0004 and after that check in MFBF,select
the respective production version and check whether you are getting the proper result.
5.A material can have only one standard cost estimate made out of a BOM & routing combination.So it
has happened through your production version 1(where prod.Line1 is assigned).Now suppose if you want to
doa production booking using prod.version2 whose manufacturing cost will differ from prod version1,so
that's the reason I'm asking you to change the REM profile which will to take the cost from Pre.Costing
from the Product Cost collector.(As per the new REM profile will to do the production confirmation manually
selecting the prod.version).
Check & revert back.

  • Automatic selection production version in MFBF

    Hello !
    I have a material setted with Selection method = 2(Selection by production version) in Material Master, so, I have two production version: V001 & V002, the last one is locked for any usage.
    I need automatic selection of production version in MFBF , but when I'm doing the confirmation the system show the screen of  production version selection  with two versions .
    Do you know what is missing for automatic selection works ?
    Thanks a lot.
    Vero

    Hi Vernoica ,
    Good Day , PV will be selected based on the lot size and the creation dates.
    It will copy the PV (BOM & Routing ) based on Lot size or Explosion date you defind in MRP-4 view i.e. BOM selection ,BY -explosion date,1-lot size,2- by PV and 3 by PV only.
    If you would like to get rid the selection of PV,
    why dont you try created a production version than only go to material master change screen MM02 in MRP4 view and Select 2 at selection method field.
    In the IMG (OPLD) for Order Type Dependent Parameters, the production version selection is already set to manual selection.  But the production version is always defaulted as version 1 which is the first one in the material master and is not asking to select the version at the time of converting the planned order to a production order!
    You can also check settings in configue trans OPL8 to have routing selection set to automatic selection if you want to avoid placing routing versions in each individual material master. Just another way to look at it
    Hope it will resolve your problem.

  • Manual selection of production version in REM scenario.

    Hai gurus,
    I discrete manufacturing we  can several production versions and we can select the same manually
    when we convert planned order to production order. Like this whether it is possible in REM scenario
    to select the production version manually, if so what is the settings and procedure.
    waiting for the positive reply.
    regards,
    sekar chand.

    Dear Sekar Chand,
    Are you not able to select the production version in MFBF manually ,assuming if you have more than
    one production version for the same material?
    What Tejas has suggested you is to start the planning process itself based on Prod.versions ---> MRP
    run-> planned orders--> Production confirmation.
    In case if you do not take MRP run and go for a direct confirmation also you will be able to select the
    production version in MFBF.
    IF not means revert back.

  • COOISPI listing wrong Production Line

    We are experiencing problems with the COOISPI returning the wrong production line when selected by material only as below:
    Transaction Code: COOISPI for:
         Order Headers
         Planned Orders
         Specific Material
         Specific Prod Plant (0050)
    Results show Prod: Line: 3D03 for plant 0050
    Same criteria except without Production Plant entry
    Results shows Prod. Line 6D01 even for the previously specified plant 0050 which is not correct. It’s 3D03 as noted above.
    Is this an inherent issue with COOISPI? Does anyone know a fix?

    Thanks Rupesh but the production versions at each plant have the correct values for the Production Line. It's just that the COOISPI report does not always reflect that.
    If you do not enter a plant (all plants), all plants show the same Production Line. (6D01 in the case cited). This is wrong for plant 0050.
    If you do enter plant 0050, the correct Production Line (3D03) is shown.
    I am attaching an.xml document with detailed information and screen shots.
    Thanks Joe Goforth

  • Multiple Selection of Products in Sales Order

    Hi Experts,
    my requirement is to select mulitiple products from the product F4 help pop-up in sales order items assignment block. To achieve this I have made the following settings:
    1.added the following code in SearchHelpResult.htm view layout of PRD01QR/SearchHelpResult.
                          onRowSelection        = "<%= lv_select_event %>"
                          selectionMode         = "<%= RESULT->SELMODE_MULTI %>"
                          selectedRowIndex      = "<%= RESULT->SELECTED_INDEX %>"
                          selectedRowIndexTable = "<%= RESULT->SELECTION_TAB %>"
    after this settings, I am able to select multiple products.
    2.I have created a button (Choose) for the component PRD01QR to transfer the products to the items assignment block.
    please suggest me on how to transfer the multiple products from the Pop-up to the items assignment block (BT115IT_SLSO)and create line items using the events.

    Hi,
    Redefine the method EH_ONSELECT_ORDERED_PROD.
    As you can see, they are getting the current entity,reading the Product GUID and setting it.
    Here is sample code snippet...
      DATA:  lr_context_node    TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_wd_context_node,
                  lr_cw                   TYPE REF TO cl_bsp_wd_collection_wrapper,
                  lr_it                     TYPE REF TO if_bol_bo_col_iterator,
                 lr_current              TYPE REF TO if_bol_bo_property_access,
                 lr_prd                   TYPE REF TO if_bol_bo_property_access,
                 lr_product_guid      TYPE REF TO comt_product_guid,
                 lv_outbound_plug   TYPE seocmpname,
                 lv_index                type sy-index.
      TRY.
       Check outbound plug
          lv_outbound_plug = prodsearch_popup->get_fired_outbound_plug( ).
          CHECK lv_outbound_plug = 'RETURNRESULT'.
          lr_context_node = prodsearch_popup->get_context_node( iv_cnode_name = 'PRD' ).
          lr_current = lr_context_node->collection_wrapper->get_first( ).
         while lr_current is bound.
        set product guid
          lr_product_guid ?= lr_current->get_property( iv_attr_name = 'PRODUCT_GUID' ).
          lr_cw      = get_collection_wrapper( gc_context_node_admini ).
          lr_it      = lr_cw->get_iterator( ).
          lv_index = lv_index + 1.
          lr_prd    = lr_it->get_by_index( iv_index = lv_index ).
          lr_prd->set_property( iv_attr_name = 'PRODUCT' iv_value = lr_product_guid->* ).
         lr_current = lr_context_node->collection_wrapper->get_next( ).
        CATCH cx_sy_ref_is_initial cx_sy_move_cast_error.
          RETURN.
      ENDTRY.
    Basically you have to loop at the products and populate admini.

  • Sending material back to production line

    Hi all,
    Can I send a material back to production line once the GR is done after production,UD is taken(inspection type 04 active) and the material is now in unrestricted stock.

    Sherya,
    I hope you are working on REM process of SAP -PP, in transaction MFBF you can click the "Neutral Reversal", now the quantity field would be with negative quantity, enter the required reversal quantity and then perform the backflush.
    Once the above is done, you can again perform Backflush using MFBF for the new Serial number.
    If you are'nt working on REM, then you can use transaction MB31 movement type 102 for reversing.
    You cannot reverse the Backflush document or Material document using MBST, since QM is active and UD is over, but certainly you would be allowed on the above process suggested by me.

  • Return vendor rejection from production line

    Hi,
    Guru,
    How to return vendor rejection from production line and it should be vendor wise.
    regards,
    rakesh patel

    Hi..
    To achieve this requirement there are some developments are required.
    e.g.:- One different movement type should be there for handling vendor rejection from production line to transit store.
    One different transit store should be there  for handling the rejections.
    And you must know that particular material has come from which vendor e.g. 10nos are from xyz vendor and 7 nos from abc vendor.
    Now you can do the transfer posting thru MIGO from production line to transit store. and can select supplier from partner tab.
    Different movement type and storage location would be very helpful for reporting part. And maintain discipline.
    Regards
    Vivek.

  • Product Line Items In Opportunity Form

    Hi All,
    I have Product Lookup in Lead form and i Kept Price Lookup also on Lead Form so whenever select Product on Lead Form the Corresponding Default Price List is getting from Product and keeping on Lead Form. So from this Lead Form when i am Qualifying the Lead
    then i am passing Product and Price List information to Opportunity Form by Using Mapping Functionality.
    So what i need is i need to Load Product Line Item Automatically on Opportunity Form as i have already Selected the product on Lead Form.
    Thank You for your quick response.

    Hi,
    This is a typical problem faced in alligning the text and the cause of it is window size.
    In the table, please check that you have assigned the correct line type.
    Also check the column width in the line type for the column in which the line item is getting displayed.
    Also in the texts where you assing the line type, try adjusting the new cell and skip cell settings.

  • Understanding the Router product line

    I'm in the process of doing a comparison between the newer 2800 (2811 to be exact) vs. a 3725. I am finding (or atleast it appears) that it is apples to oranges. I noticed that I can find things like "packets per second" for the 3725, but the 2800 series talks about lots of slots and abilities for things like VoIP. Can someone help me to understand the difference between what they are calling an Access Router (3725 etc) and a Multi-Service Router (2800 etc..)? I consult for a wireless ISP and which has currently a 45Mbps 802.11A backbone. Right now is is a switched backbone with 2611XM's doing InterVLAN routing. We are moving to a routed network and feel we need to upgrade the routers.
    Thanks

    Have you looked at the Cisco Product Quick Reference Guide (QRG)? The QRG is a good place to start for comparison of the various products and product lines. See http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/752/qrg/ for access.
    Generally the 2811 would be good for a T-1 or two on the WAN side and the 3725 can accommodate higher speed WAN interfaces along with higher density port cards.
    The 3725 will generally have more CPU horsepower but the AIM modules available on the 2800 series may offset that advantage depnding on what services you see your environment needing to use.
    The 3700 series is also more expandable via a wider selection of interface cards.
    Hope this helps - please rate the post if it does.

  • HI guys, little urgent.....to get production line value

    Hi guys,
    I have this task where i have to get the production line value , I have the inspection lot number, plant no , batch no and I can also get the material no...
    To give you more idea this is for the mfbf backflush transaction...
    Thanks,
    Venkat.

    You can get the Prod version (VERID) from QALS using Insp lot number. Pass this to he table MKAL along with plant and material number. This tables contains the Prod line value.
    Hope this helps. If so reward points and close this thread.

  • Raw Material & SFG consumption required in different production lines

    Hi All,
    Customer has 5 different production lines, each line will be handle by different team.
    Each production line will consume the same and different combination of Raw material and SFG for different finished products.
    Customer wants to track
    1. how much of raw material and SFG is consumed for each production line.
    2. how much of Finished Product has been produced
    3. how much of material is lying at work in progress.
    Please suggest,how to map this functionality.
    Regards,
    Vikram Reddy

    Dear Challa,
    for this you need to create UDF with choose from list in production order where user should select the appropriate production line in each production order and then you can write simple queries for your reports based on this production line on production order

  • Production lines in REM

    For planning in REM we use MF50 with the selection of a production line.
    We have a material X and a material Z. Material X is a component of Z.
    The rate routing for X has the WC (operations) A and B. The rate
    routing for Z has the WC (operations) B and C. The WC B is shared.
    What is the correct assignment for the planning line with LDB1? Is it
    better for the planning results to have one line with WC A, B and C
    assigned? Or is it better to have two seperate lines with A and B, B
    and C?
    Thanks for your answer.

    Thanks for all your replies. But my question has been not answered.
    I created a WC with category 007. In line design (LDB1) I asigned to this WC (007) the WC (001) used in the rate routings. If I assigned more than one WC to the line the takt rate of the line is increasing.
    My question is now how I have to assign correct the WC (001) to the line?
    The line consists of WC A, B and C.
    The semifinished good X is produced on WC A and B. The finished good Z is produced on WC B and C.
    Need I now one Line with A + B + C for both materials?
    Or should I create a Line 1 with A + B for the SFG X, and Line 2 with B + C for the FG Z?

  • DefaultTableCellRenderer + html in cell = wrong selection

    Hi All -
    I may have found a bug, but I want to know if I am missing something. If I extend DefaultTableCellRenderer, override the getTableCellRendererComponent method and use any html in my cell text, then the cell to the right is always selected when I click on the table, if I have no HTML, all is well.
    For example:
         public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table, Object value, boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row, int col) {
              setText("<html>hi</html>);
              return this;
         }Does not work correctly (cell selection is shifted one to the right), but if I replace the setText line with:
    setText("Hi");Then cell selection works fine.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks!

    Thanks for the suggestions. Calling super.getTablecellRenderer doesn't change the situation. I am extending DefaultTableCellRenderer so that I get the performance benefits over JLabel (see its java doc for details) but retain the ability to (in theory) use html. The super class's implementation of getTableCellRenderer just does a bunch of things that I don't need, but if I made my own implementation of TableCellRenderer I'd just be extending JLabel and overriding all the methods that this class does already, so there is no advantage to not just extending the default one.
    I am in a situation where I can't just call setValue either.
    I have made a custom selection model so that I can select cells in a normal way (multiple cells, support for shift and ctrl select). The problem is that when I use html in the text, the table reports the wrong selection to my model, but when there is no html in the text, all is well.

  • Handling Multiple Production Lines

    I am implementing OPM R12 for Cement Industry. Our client has 7 production lines and needs to create batches and production plan for each production line. Can anyone suggest how to do this by creating a single Inventory Org? Or is creating multiple Inventory Orgs the only solution?
    *Note:- Our client does not have different sub-inventory for each production line. There is a common sub-inventory for each production line.
    Thanks,
    Birju

    Hi,
    You wouldn't want to create multiple inventory organisations.
    The best way you can achieve what you need is to group all the plant resources in each production line into a resource group. For example we group all our packing machines into a resource group called Packaging. This means in planning (ASCP) we can view the plan by resource group.
    OPM batches are specific to a recipe selected, so I guess the name of your routing should reflect the name of the production line.
