WSDL With External References

Hello,
I need to import a wsdl in external definition ,that has 2 xsds as external references.
But when I import the wsdl,I am not able to find the wsdl pointing to the two xsds .
Can anyone help me with the this?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sriparna

Hello,
The xsds will stay as is. What you can do is:
1.) Open the WSDL ED
2.) Go to the External References Tab
3.) You will see a source and a name column
4.) Click on the name(column) of any xsd that you want to be referenced
5.) Press ctrl+c
6.) Open the XSD ED
7.) Click the edit button
8.) Under the Source field, press ctrl+v
9.) Save and activate
Hope this helps,
Mark

  • Importing WSDL with external references issue

    Hi guys,
    pls help me on this:
I have a WSDL file which referes to external data types. Obviously, if I want to create a message mapping I can't see the WSDL data type. How are such situations resolved? How to import external types into PI?
    Thx, A.

    HI,
You have to inport the WSDL  alongwith all its external references.
You can refer the following threads:

  • Using excel sheets with externa references

I was hopping someone could point me somewhere to begin here.
What if I am implementing CM solution in a financial department, which strongly uses excel spreadsheets, which means they're going to need external references from a file, to another .xls for example. Is there any thing about that matter in UCM?

  • Dreamweaver very slow when opening files with external links

Is there any way to fix Dreamweaver CS5 (Windows 7, 64bit) when opening files with external references?
For example, I have a very simple CSS file, and toward the top the file has a line that says:
    @import url("https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Ubuntu:500,700");
This causes the file to take around 20 seconds to open in DW. If I comment out the line or remove it, the file opens almost instantly. This behaviour is also present in files that contain an SSI.
DW often crashes before being able to open the file and I need to restart the app.
Can I disable DW from attempting to load the references?? It's obviously what is causing the issue IMO and would love to make DW workable again!

"Enable Related Files" isn't the fix for this issue. It's slightly different - I wanted to still load related files, but only the ones local to the file I was editing.
The fix was to use DW's Resolve To IP Address feature. It required adding a registry value - it fixed the issue straight away

  • Issue with external WSDL in own Outbound interface using SOAP UI

    Hello,
    this is the issue:
    a) Imported an external WSDL to PI as external definition
    b) Added external definition to a sync. Service interface
    c) Completed configuration and created a WSDL from the sender agreement in Directory (this is PI 7.1)
    d) imported the WSDL from c) to soap UI which we are using for testing interfaces
(already successful with other sync interface where the WSDL from c) contains a message type created in PI
    e) testing this interface results in an error:

Is there any restriction with external definitions to be used in PI which could be the reason for this strange behaviour?
The implementation contained a message type created in PI earlier which was running successful!
The problem came up with the external definition!
    Thank you for your help!
    Best regards
    Dirk

    Hi,
the problem is not the mapping as it is 1:1 with the same message on both sides.
But when I replace the "com"s with "ns0" and "props" with "ns0:props" in the request in soap UI
the payload will be accepted and mapping is successful!
So the issue is about the modification soap UI is doing on the imported WSDL.
    a) Generated request in soap UI from imported WSDL:  FAILS in PI!!!!
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:com="http://test.ap.com/sys/common/">

    b) Modified request in soap UI from imported WSDL: WILL BE PROCESSED IN PI
    <soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:ns0="http://test.ap.com/sys/common/">

             </ns0:Property>
          </ns0:props>
       </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>
But is there any possibility to avoid this effect in soap UI?

  • Can't use Data type created with External Definition

    Hi,
In the repository, I would like to transport a very complexe DataType from one XI system to an other one. As I don't want to spend a week to create data types, I created a new External Definitions and loaded my XSD schema (that I exported as XSD from Source system) with Messages parameter set to "From All Available Global Elements". I don't set the "Source". I can see the "Imported Document" and "WSDL", but the Messages and External References tabs are empty. Furthermore, I can't use my new message type in a Outbound Asyncrhronous Message Interface.
Here is a very small XSD file that I use to test my scenario.

Any one can help me please.
    Thanks, Davy

    Hello Moorthy,
My XSD is correct since it's XI itself that generated it from real Data Type on my source System (but I tested it in Internet Explorer and it looks fine).
I tried to select my ExternalDefinition as source in MessageMapping, but XI doesn't let me specify it (Apply button is disabled when I select my ExternalDefinition).
I'm pretty sure that it is related to the fact that I should have a Data Type in "Messages" and "External References" tabs and I have nothing. My XSD is legal, but it seems that XI can't automatically create the data type from it.
Do you have any other idea?
    Thanks, Davy

  • WebService - XI - WSDL with addtional XSD-files

    Hi all,
i have a WSDL-File which contains only the operations of a webservice.
Then i have different XSD-Files which contains the structure of the data.
I can't find an external reference in the WSDL-file to the XSD files...
How do i have to configure my interfaces in XI? If i use the WSDL-file only one parameter is shown (reqeuest).
If i use the XSD-Files i can do the mapping... But I don't need the WSDL-file??!!
    Any ideas?
    regards

    Hi Wolfgang,
There is a tag called xsd:location which relates the WSDL to external schema files .
If you are calling a web service, then you can directly use xsd to create your data types but in some cases operation name is also required which is present in WSDL.
Data Type is just an way to send the required data, but what operation you are calling from Web Service. A Web Service may contain various operations. So to distinguish, operation name is also required.
Try creating your message throough XML SPY and see the input message generated , whether it matches with your XSD format or not.

    Piyush

  • [OSB Kernel:398133]The service is based on WSDL with Web Services Security

    Team,
I need to use the wsdl given by external client. When I create a osb business service, I am receiving the below error.
OSB Kernel:398133]The service is based on WSDL with Web Services Security Policies that are not natively supported by Oracle Service Bus. Please select OWSM Policies - From OWSM Policy Store option and attach equivalent OWSM security policy. For the Business Service, either you can add the necessary client policies manually by clicking Add button or you can let Oracle Service Bus automatically pick and add compatible client policies by clicking Add Compatible button.     ...
    WSDL:
    http://personator.melissadata.net/v3/SOAP/ContactVerify
We don't have OWSM set up. Is there any workaround that I can use to connect to this service for OSB?

As a workaround, you can try to remove the Policy definition and reference from the copy you will import in OSB.
I would recommend to add OWSM to your domain. It's a straight forward process.

    Fabio.

  • Creation of Server Proxy for  Message interface with External Defination

    Dear All,
I am getting a problem while generating a server proxy for the inbound interface . The request message used in the inbound interface is a external definition which is uploaded using a XSD file. The XSD file was supplied by a third party which is having very high complex strucuture and used lot of abstract data types in the design. When i tried to generate the proxy in the R/3 system (Transaction SPROXY) for the inbound interface i am getting following error.
Interface uses external and internal message definitions
    Message no. SPRX122 *
    Diagnosis
In a message interface you can use messages from different sources:
Message types and fault message types edited in the Enterprise Services Repository
Messages imported into the Enterprise Services Repository (external definitions, RFC, IDoc)
In the current message interface, message types from different sources have been used. Since messages from these different sources must be handled differently during proxy generation, such a mixture of messages within a message interface is not possible.
    System Response
    The interface cannot be generated.
    Procedure
Change the interface definition accordingly in the Enterprise Services Repository.
Please guide me, how to generate the proxy for the interface with external defination message. I could nt geneate manullay, because it is having very high complexity and its a big structure.
Is there is any way to generate the proxy for interface with external definition
    Regards
    Vijayanand

    Hi,
    i.       Import your message schemas from external definitions, or RFCs or IDocs from SAP systems. These definitions already contain data types.
ii.       Create a message interface and reference the messages of the external definition, or the RFC or IDoc message.

  • Creating new logical ports for WSDL with several port types not working

    Hi all,
I am trying to integrate some BODS webservice into the BPM. I am using CE 7.2 Kernel Version:     7.20.3710. When I am trying to assign a provider system in the application configuration I get following error:
The provider system successfully found the needed service, but its wsdl is without webservice policy. Thus the generated client configuration might not work because of different configurations between service and client (most probable a difference in the security settings). Either assign a provider system with access to wsdl with policy or manually create the client configuration.
The regarding provider system is using a communication profil where the authentication method is set to "none". Normally this configuration should work, but it isn't.
So I started to create new logical ports for each port type. But then I get the error:
Port type name of loaded WSDL does not match the port type name of the Service Reference.
I checked already the port type names in the WSDL but they are 100% the same. What I found was that the configuration is always trying to use the first port type in the WSDL. So I am not able to configure the other port types in the service group.
I also tried to do the same thing using a WSDL with just one port type and surprise it is working...
I hope somebody can help me out
    Thanks in advance

  • Using an external reference clock for counter measurements

    Hi all,
    I have several PXI chassis
configured for testing, each of which uses an NI-DAQ-6221 for
conducting period and frequency measurements among other things.
However each of my setups give me a slightly different reading when conducting identical measurements due to
the tolerance of the DAQ on board reference
    clocks.
The chassis' have a 10MHz GPS calibrated reference fed into them via the reference input and this is connected to the backplane. I have tried and failed to try to route and use this as my reference
base for my counter measurements so that each of my cards will give me
the same reading every time. I have tried the routing method using the
DAQ connect terminals vi but could not get this to work. I have looked through the labview examples and cant find anything thta shows me what i need to do to take frequency and period measurments using my external reference as my base clock. There are some examples showing the use of the DAQmx timing vi set to sample clock mode which allows a clock source to be selected. However these examples are only for counting digital events and when i apply the same vi to a frequency or period measurement an error is thrown saying 'invalid timing type for this channel', 'you can select: implicit, on demand'.
    I do not
understand the working of the DAQ hardware very well so was hoping
someone could help explain to me how to do this if it is even possible
or give me any guidance as to how else to overcome my problem. Any vis
showing how to use my external 10MHz reference
as the base clock for these kind of measurements would be greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    Dan

    Hi Dan,
Thanks for the reply. When trying to use the connect terminals i just tried connecting the PXI10 to the onboard clock in the hope that this would configure it to use the PXI10 signal to synchronise the onboard clocks via the PLL. Doing this didn't throw any errors as i recall, it just gave me a reading of infinity as it couldn't measure the signal.
I have actually just managed to successfully do what i wanted thanks to help from Rob at NI tech support UK. There is a DAQmx timing property node which allows you to choose a reference clock source. By using the PXI_Clk10 signal this makes the DAQ synchronise its reference clocks to this signal. I have included an image of the code i used to achieve this to take period measurements.
Here is a very useful link which Rob sent me which may be of help to anyone else with similar problems

  • PXI 6733 smallest voltage for external reference?

Hi, I need to know, what is the smallest voltage possible for external reference?
I couldnt find this information anywhere, I just found, the internal reference is 20Vpp and the device is 16 bit, so the LSB is 312uV.
If I connect the EXT_REF with smaller voltage, let say 5V, the reference becomes 10Vpp and the LSB becomes 156uV.
What is the smallest voltage that I can use, in other words, what is the smallest LSB I can get with this device?
    regards,
    yan.

In prinziple you can decrease the external reference as you wish. But be aware of the error margin you create.
You can see in the following graph that the measurement error consists of three parts, which have different reaction to the range:
It all ends up to the following equation:
You can see that the gain error (the first part) is only half the equation to finding the actual accuracy of the generation. So, assuming that we have zero temperature drift, if we can greatly reduce our gain error by providing a highly accurate reference signal, then we are still left with the offset error that is independent of the reference signal.
You will also add additional error margin by using the external source, which ofcause has to be calibrated separetly, and adds an additional voltage drift. I therefor would recommend not to use reference voltages below 0.5V.

  • Function module to find the external reference number in CRM?

    hi all,
Is there any function module available to find the process_types for a given external reference number?

    Hello,
I don't know a function module. The external reference number you can find in CRM in the table BUT0ID (IDTYPE = CRM001 as external identfier). Then you can read BUT000 to get the info with the partner number given in BUT0ID.
