X axis scan to time

I am programming in Labview. I convert my x axis from scans to time in seconds by inverting the scan rate in the x scale multiplier property node on my graph. I would like to change the Time to hours or min but I am not sure how to do this. Any ideas. thank you,

It is as simple as dividing seconds by 60 to get minutes and by 60 again (3600 in all) to get hours. Or, you could make the scale show the seconds in time format. To do this you would pop-up on the scale and select Formatting. This opens the Property page with the Format and Precision tab already selected. From the list on the left, select Relative time and then be sure to select how many digits of decimal seconds you will need. It will place the seconds in HH:MMS.DDD format.

After changing my 1st cartridge Envy 5530 printer wants to realign and scan each time it's turned on. When I do this, it says "Scan not detcted." After a 2nd scan, it sets itself to default settings. Then I can use the printer. Is there a way to turn off alignment?

You might try resetting the printer. It could clear your issue.
Steps
Press the Power button () to turn on the product.
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button () to turn it on.

SCEP last quick scan end times not showing up in console

My company is using SCEP to protect our environment with SCCM 2012 R2. We have schedule quick scans to run at 2am on Sundays, but when we look at any device collection and add the column "Endpoint Protection Last Quick Scan End Time", no time appears
even if there is time in the "Endpoint Protection Last Quick Scan Start Time". I have checked the SCEP logs on both the SCCM server and on client machines but no errors occurring, I can see the job start but it doesn't end. If I look at SCEP
on the client machine, the scan appears to be happening on schedule. Is this a known issue with times not appearing or is there something that can be fixed? It does not appear to be affecting the scans but makes monitoring our environment more difficult.

Waveform graph x-axis into real time recording

Hey there,
I have acquired voltage off a LVDT through the DAQ assistant and connected it to a waveform graph. However, the x-axis says its 'Time' but its got the white line running across it even though no time has elapsed and the time itself has funny units to it. What I need on the x-axis is real time so that I can see the line register from left to write as time passes by. I have tried a few things like connecting the DAQ to a chart graph but it doesnt have the log graph which I need. I have also fiddled with the XY graph by connecting the DAQ assistant into the 'Y Input' but I am not sure how to input time into the x input.
If someone could help me with this problem, it would be much appreciated.

what do you expect here? Wire waveforms to a chart:
(DAQmxRead settings: n channels, n samples, 1D array of waveforms)
For learning the basics you should
- examine the examples coming with LabVIEW
- go through the Basics course on NI website

Scan another time for faces

During scanning my iphoto crash (i don't know the reason). Can I scan another time my photos for faces? How?

To force Faces to rescan your Library:
Note You will lose any work you’ve already done with Faces. This is to return to the very beginning.
Quit iPhoto.
Go to your Pictures Folder (or where ever you have your Library) and find the iPhoto Library there.
Right Click on it, and from the resulting menu select ‘Show Package Contents’. A Finder window will open and the Library will be exposed.
Find the following files:
face_blob.db
face.db
and move them to the trash.
Make no other changes.

Hp deskjet aio auto scans every time it's turned on

deskjet 340 aio every time I turn it on (if it's connected to my computer {windows xp pro}), it automatically opens scan window, scans (usually a blank page cuz nothings in the scanner) and opens a photo software program. How do I change these settings? It takes a long time and I can't do anything until it all stops loading and scanning etc. Frustrating if all I want to do is print out a page!

Printing/ Scanning through Time Capsule

When I try to scan with my Canon All-in-One, I have to plug the scanner directly into my iMac, when I want to print to the AiO, I have to plug it in to the Time capsule. Is there a way to stop this insanity?

No scanning trough time capsule network

I have a time capsule with a airport express attached to it.
Everything works fine.
Backup
Music streams
Printing.
But my HP F2420 absolutely refuses to scan in the network.
It does scan on USB connection (so the scanner is OK)
But the software sais that there is no scanner found in the network WHILE IT SEES THE PRINTER (and thats the same machine.
Anyone a hind?

The USB ports on the Time Capsule and AirPort Express only support the printing function. Advanced functions like scan, fax, copy and maintenance are not supported.
You will need to connect your all-in-one device directly to your computer when you need the advanced functions.

My track pad highlights applications and files and then opens them without my doing anything. I run MacKeeper and having run the scan several times only get cleaning issues (5 -). Any ideas as MacKeeper Kromtech have not responded to my calls nor email.

I run an iMac. Today for some reason when I run the cursor across the screen applications and files are highlighted and then opened without me doing anything (no clicking etc) In fact print at times opens. As far as I can tell I have not changed any settings except to open firewall.
I run MacKeeper and when I run a scan only a few cleaning items open. Safe and fast are as they should be. I run fix. If I again run the scan I get a few more but different claeing items to fix.
I have rung MacKeeper several times without getting through. The occasion I did get through the bloke said he could not help and passed me to a higher authority. Needless to say the line dropped out after 30 minutes waiting.
As it is the weekend and I do not live near an Apple store I am quite keen to get the problem identified and fixed so I can continue working.

Remove the "MacKeeper" scam product as follows. First, back up all data.
"MacKeeper" has only one useful feature: it deletes itself.
Note: These instructions apply to the version of the product that I downloaded and tested in early 2012. I can't be sure that they apply to other versions.
IMPORTANT: "MacKeeper" has what the developer calls an “encryption” feature. In my tests, I didn't try to verify what this feature really does. If you used it to “encrypt” any of your files, “decrypt” them before you uninstall, or (preferably) restore the files from backups made before they were “encrypted.” As the developer is not trustworthy, you should assume that the "decrypted" files are corrupt unless proven otherwise.
In the Finder, select
Go ▹ Applications
from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-A. The "MacKeeper" application is in the folder that opens. Quit it if it's running, then drag it to the Trash. You'll be prompted for your login password. Click the Uninstall MacKeeper button in the dialog that appears. All the functional components of the software will be deleted. Reboot.
☞ Quit MacKeeper before dragging it to the Trash.
☞ Don't empty the Trash. Let MacKeeper delete itself.
☞ Don't try to drag the MacKeeper Dock icon to the Trash.

Scanning through time capsule usb

I have a Canon Pixma MP 760 which I love and it prints through my USB Time Capsule connection. Is there anyway to get it to scan through that connection.

Yes.. you must use it locally.. The very nature of a USB device is that it is not a network device.. it is local device.. plugging into the TC fudged the network for printing.. although it fails as often as it succeeds but the scan side is very specifically local device..
Next time you buy a printer buy a printer with network functionality.. printers btw are cheap.. it is toner and inks that are expensive.. it therefore can be well worth just buying a new printer if you want something that has network scanning ability.. make sure what you buy is airprint compatible.. and has excellent software for the Mac. Brother is good.. Samsung seems to be good.. I stick to old office type HP with postscript.. !!

Scanning for Time Machine

I've recently bought a new router as my last one was a bit crap. I'm not trying to connect my existing Time Machine to this router but when scanning it can't find it. It's set up exactly the same as before and I really can't figure out what the **** is going on... Any ideas or tips?
I'm wondering if because its a new router I have to reset the time machine but I think that will just wipe off everything already on there? ...I've managed to lose the instructions at some point so I'm really in the dark here

Datapoints appearing along the X axis instead of Time

So I currently have a setup with an Agilent O-Scope hooked up to my computer, using an arbitrary Waveform Generator to send the signals. What I am trying to do is get a graph to show the waveforms (4), on my computer. The 4 waveforms show up fine on the OScope screen, but I was wondering how do I switch the actual scale in labview.
Right now, the X axis says "Time," but if I change the number of datapoints to receive, the x scale changes to that number. Is their some way to make Labview receive the information and convert datapoints to time in say microseconds, or do I have to go to Agilent and ask them instead?

You are giving insufficient information. Are you using a chart of a graph?
Charts and graphs assume equal time spacing in x, and the linear relation between the data index and the actual time is configured from the offset and increment setting of the x-axis. For example, if the spacing between adjacent points is 1 microsecond, set the increment (dx) to that value.
If the points are irregularly spaced in x, you need an xy graph instead. See how far you get.

Officejet pro 8625 copy scan print time

Copy ,print and scan time is about three minutes. I have tried both usb and wireless conections, as well as reinstalling software and cycling router and network connections. This is an out of box machine 3 days old. The first day was fine day 2 is when the problems started. Any solutions would be helpful. HP print and scan doctor cant pick up on it. It sounds like it is working the whole time then it prints.

Hey , Welcome to the HP forums! I hope you enjoy your stay here. I see that you are having some slow printing and copying on your Officejet 8625 printer. I can help with that. To start make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet and not a surge protector. Once that is done we'll try doing a copy. If that copies right away that's great. If it does not then we'll perform a hard reset on the printer by removing the power cable from the back of the pritner while it's turned on and then we'll try to copy again. Customize Axis Label for Time

I have a chart with times (9:00,10:09,11:13,12:21 etc..)on the horizontal axis.
Is it possible to customize these axislabels and show only whole hours, 30 or 15 minutes depending on the scale? Like 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, 10:00 or 9:00, 10:00, 11:00 etc..

I would imagine if you create a dataProvider with the desired time increments it should display fine. There was a forum post recently about how to generate a range of date strings, like 9:00, 9:15, 9:30, etc. I would search for that and then see the Flex Builder help sys on charts, and more specifically setting axislabels.

Limiting rotation of Transform to one axis at a time.

I have a situation where I want to force a transform returned from a picking tool to only rotate around or translate along a single axis. To do this, I'm using the transformChanged() function shown below. It works fine for the translation changes, but has problems for the rotation case. If the rotations are about one axis only it's ok, but when rotations are combined (30 degrees on X, then 60 degrees on Y) say, the object flips around in strange ways.
I understand that my approach to the rotation limit was too simplistic, but none of the other approaches I've tried has worked either. I'm very new to Java3D programming and have run out of ideas, can anyone else suggest something to try?

is already running. however, i can't make the
currently running application window to be
automatically displayed after the checking. Ar running application could listen on a port so you could tell it to display itself by using TPC/IP. This would require some additinals code in your app, but that shouldn't be a real problem.
If you shared resource is already a port then you could use this port. And if it is a file you could add some additionla information to this file. Like the port number. In this case you could avoid having to use a predefined port (that could be already used by a a completely different app even though it is not very likely) by using an anonymous ServerSocket (by using "new ServerSocker(0)" and "getLocalPort()")
