XML connection is giving Blank output

Hi ,
I am trying to connect my dashboard with XML data
but it is giving total blank dashboard.
I am unable to find out reason.
Can some one help.
my XML file is

Advanced XML connections

Hey there!
I'm fairly new to Flex development so please excuse my
ignorance if I've just managed to miss some feature or API
completely!
My situation is this:
I wish to develop a program which will communicate with my
server via a high-performance XML connection using a (currently
proprietary, open-source later) binary XML format. Since I'm the
one who has been writing the code for it in Java I have full access
to the source to port to Flex/action-script. What I'm wondering is
what (if any) is the standard API for XML parsers
(readers/writers)? My format is a StAX ("pull") parser for XML
streams, and I have classes that allow me to use XPaths efficiently
over it.
I would like very much to make it using a standard Flex API,
extending where required to leverage additional features, as this
would be more useful I think in future when I release it as an
open-source project.
Further to this, I will be hoping to use this with an SSL
connection to keep data private, I am wondering if Flex already has
SSL functionality, and how fast it is?
Please don't dispute the use of binary XML here, since I'm
communicating between two parties then readability isn't an issue
(except debugging, in which case it's easy to output as text with a
third party, or by dropping in a regular XML reader/writer). For my
intended data-set I get around a 40-50% reduction in message size,
haven't tested relative performance compared to text-XML parsers,
but it should be faster since it doesn't need to do much work.
So I'm looking for an idea of what I should implement or
extend and what I will need to develop from scratch to make this
work? My aim is to develop this as an AIR application, but may
compile for browser as well since I have no major requirement for
local storage.

Hmm, thanks for the response! While that looks like an
interesting way of manipulating XML, it appears to be DOM-based?
The method I'm hoping to implement is StAX or "pull" parsing. A
simple example (in Java) using my parser could look like this.
Note: I'm using hyphens in place of working tabs since there seems
to be no equivalent of <pre> on HTML here that I see:

Basically, unlike DOM which reads in all the XML and provides
you with a model you can then pull elements out from, a StAX parser
lets you tell the parser when to parse, it tells you what it found
and you can then decide what to do with that data. It's very good
for using as an XPath stream parser, as you can look for an XPath
match on an XML document hundreds of megabytes in size, without
ever using more than a few kilobytes of memory. Disadvantage of
course is that once you've passed an XML element, you can't go back
unless you saved it somewhere.
My XMLStreamReader is fairly easy to adapt into use as a DOM
parser as well, and it's pretty good at that too, but I try to
avoid DOM like the plague where possible.
If Flex only has DOM available then I would like port my
parser as a mirror image of the Java parser, and hope that any
future Flex StAX parser standard is similar enough to easily mash
my code into at that time.

My Fall 2009 system DVI output to our HDTV doesn't include audio. Connecting the Macbook headphone output to the TV's RCA plugs works if TV is in AV (PC) mode, but no picture. DVI to HDMI adapter to TV works fine for picture, but no audio.

My Fall 2009 model Macbook Pro DVI output apparently doesn't include audion. Adapting DVI to HDMI works with new LG TV, but doesn't provide sound. Connecting the Macbook headphone output to the TV's RCA jacks give sound with the TV in AV (PC) mode, but no video. Is there a fix for this? Search for a DVI to HDMI adapter that includes a plug for the headphone jack comes up empty, so far.

DVI has never included audio, sorry.
There is also no DVI->HDMI adapter including a plug for audio; such thing cannot work without quite a bit of electronic extra effort.
Instead of much bla-bla, why don't you tell the exact TV model, and we'll try to come up with a solution?
BTW, no home theater AV receiver present, correct? Sound to come from the TV, correct?

Sales Analysis Report - Monthly report shows blank output

Hi,
When i run the Sales Analysis Report - Customer (Annual) report for a data set it shows the correct data - large number of invoices
However, there is no output available (blank output) when i use the the Monthly version of the same report using the same parameters. Even when i am taking the widest possible range of data sets ( large date range; no properties; All customers) i am not getting any output. I am using Individual display.
Please help out.

In sales analysis report have u given posting date for a particular month if not give and select client /customer in group and run the report u will get exactly if not then u do have any postings for a particular month and definr due date that means posting period also

BI and ECC Reconciliation report giving blank value instead of ZERO

Hi,
We have a report for reconciliation where in if the ECC and BI balance matches, it will show Zero (0) in the final field. My question is *for some of them it is showing Zero(0) and for few rows it is givng blank values* even after ECC and BI balance matching...Why is it giving blank instead of showing 0 (ZERO) ....is there any setting we need to make??
point to be noted is only few rows are getting blank and few rows it is showing '0'

Without additional details of the rows that have blanks vs zeros, here is a guess...
The rows with blank final value have no records in ECC or BI. You can probably define the formula in such a way that it always gives zero for all rows.

Left alignment issue with XML report having Excel as output..

I am using XML Publisher report and the output format as Excel. When my output opens in Excel all numeric values are right justified and all characters values are left justified. I want numeric values also left justified.. How to achieve this?

did you create dimension and put levels in the fact and dim sources? did you specify the number of element at each level?

XML Publisher Reprot Changing Default Output

Is there anyway we can set default Preview mode from PDF to excel so that while submitting XML report for excel output we need not to go to option screen to set Format as excel. This is really cumbersome for users, I want Default output must be EXCEL instead of PDF.

I am in the same boat. How do I disable XML Validation in NW BPM?
In my case, Data comes from PI to NW BPM. But PI never cares about schema validation unless asked for. I have at least a 100 WSDLs that are failing to receive messages if I could not turn this off in BPM. I can not fix the Data Type as it is supported by third party.
Any help is appreciated.

Xcelsius XML Connection Issue when using a Crystal created XML file

HI Xcelsius/Crystal Gurus,
I am running Crystal Reports 2008 version 12.2.9.698 and Xcelsius 2008 5.3.0.0 Build 12,3,0,670,
I am attempting to create an XML file from a Crystal report which will be consumed by an Xcelsius Dashboard. Apparently, there is something with the file that Xcelsius does not like.
I have formatted the report exactly as Xcelsius requires and exporting via text with an xml extension to create an .xml file. When I add an XML Connection in Xcelsius and add the appropriate names/range, etc...I am able to see the file via the Preview XML button on the Connection, but when I use a component, I am not seeing the data in the component.
I can 'recreate' the file in NotePad by manually typing in the entries to look exactly like the file created by Crystal and set up a connection in Xcelsius to consume that file and it works beautifully.
Does anyone have any experience with using Crystal Reports to create an XML file (not using the XML Export, but by exporting as a Text and adding an extension)?
Is it possible that Crystal is adding hidden characters or something? I can pull this Crystal created file into an XML editor or MS Word and it is validated as a good XML File.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

I am getting a connection timeout, even when I set the syncMaxWaitTime in the domain.xml file on the app server to a higher number (although this doesn't seem to affect the time it takes for the debugger to return).

Excel ( VB ) to ABAP RFC WEB SERVICE Call - No Errors - Blank Output Table

Trying to get Excel talk to ABAP RFC Web Service.
- Excel - 2007 ( Since it is Excel 2007, I didn't had to add any Office Web Services Toolkit or any add on )
- ECC 6.0
Excel (VB) not throwing any error, but is not giving any output ( expecting a table output ).
ABAP RFC WebService with Uid Pwd Authentication.
Activated binding for ABAP RFC via SOAMANAGER for clnt 600.
Using WSDL of WS of Clnt 600 in Excel via VB
Basic ABAP RFC -
1 optional import param ( Input Param )
1 table output ( Tables Param )
Basic VB Call Code -
Call projHoursWS.wsm_YProjHours("", arProjHours)
To test if VB and WebService are talking to each other, when i temperorarily change the Authentication method ( uid/pwd ) of Webservice in Sicf it throws "NO MATCHING AUTH" .. So VB and ABAP WS are talking to each other.
Debugged VB in Excel, not throwing any error , but is always returning the output table (arProjHours) Empty.
Missing anything?

Hi,
Try turning on the ICF Recorder in TCode SICF (check SAP Help for usage details) to establish that the request is reaching SAP successfuly.
You'll also be able to catch the response that's being generated by SAP this way. Then turn off the ICF recorder.

Query giving wrong output

I am trying to look for sub programs that use the synonyms in the schema.I wrote the following query.But its giving strange output.

You can't, Anh. That's what people are telling you. At this time there's no way to get out of recovery mode. You're playing around with beta software and this is what you get.
