ABAP Table for Integration Directory Objects

Hi
Is there any ABAP table, which stores the runtime objects, communication channel, It's status, Service etc.
Where you can find out status of each channel and the channel type used within the ABAP stack in Data Dictionary table.

Hi Paresh,
To view the status of adapters you can use RWB.
You dont need to write an ABAP report for this purpose.
RWB->Component Monitoring->Click on Displaye with status "all".
Then..click o Integration Server->Adapter Engine
click on 'Adapter monitoring' in the the 'Status' tab page of the window at the bottom of the screen.
This will launch a widow with status details of all the monitors.

I'm trying to identify all of the tables used in the configuration....So I can pull the data and help me generate a report on the configuration of our system, documenting each Configuration scenario from thru all the Rvcr Dets and Interface Detu2026to each receiver.
I'm identified some tables (Ex:SSRVCHANNEL or SSRVCHANNELATT). But still see I'm missing pieces. (EX: where is Variable Substitution info stored or Interface Determination data)
Anyone out there able to shred some light in this area.

Have you tried this search on the Java stack? I believe ID configurations would be stored more on Java stack.

For budget information you have to look in RPSCO for rows with WRTTP = 41 and for actuals per cost element you look in COSS/COSP/COSSP/COSPP for rows with WRTTP = 4. Budget is stored at the object level and not at cost element level.

Transporting Integration Directory objects between N and N+1 landscapes

I have a question regarding the transport of Integration Directory objects.
We are implementing N+1 PI 7.3 (java only) Development and QA systems. The N+1 PI systems are a copy of the Production Support (N) PI Development and QA systems. As part of the N+1 build we will also configure the business systems in the SLD for this landscape. Is it possible to transport objects from the "N" landscape into the "N+1" landscape? These changes would only be new objects that would not overwrite anything in N+1. For anything that is also being changed in N+1 we would perform manually. Is there anything special needed when setting up the business system in the SLD for this scenario?

That menu option is available to me too but there is no option to use CTS+ in the pull down list.
I can't visit imageshack from work so I can't see your screenshot but I'd bet you have the option to export using "Open CTS+ Organizer" on the first menu too - I don't.
I've obviously got some config missing but, given I can transport ESR and SLD objects, I'm struggling to know what.

How to add buisness system in Integration directory -objects

I created the technical systems and buisness systems. then in the integration directory, i want to check whether my business system exixts are not.
so in the integration directory,
objects--->service without party >buisness system>
in the buisness system , whatever buisness system i created the is not found.
how to add buisness system into integration directory -- objects.

go to integration directory,
objects--->service without party >buisness system>
select the BS -> Right click the BS -> it show the number of BS select your business system and assign them next save.
If the your business system if it's not appear go to Environment menu -> Clear SLD Data cahce.
and do the same process again..

Hi,
Use t.code se16n, and then provide the sales order number for vbak,
or vbap take value of field KNUMV (The internal number under which
the system saves conditions that apply to a sales order header),
KNUMH (The internal number under which the system saves conditions
that apply to a sales orde itemr), and go to KONV (for vbak) and KONP
(for vbap) enter this KNUMV or KNUMH number and execute , you will get
all item pricing conditions for that sales order.
For pricing record :- table KONH - Condition (Header)
table KONP - Condition (Item)
with field KNUMH - Condition record number.

Hi Siva,
Check with your basis guys.
In most cases, this is due to memory overflow error. They should free the memory which some interface or logs is holding up.
Most of these problems are solved by simply restart of the server.
I strongly suspect that some log file might be growing which would have consumed all memory.

Error while importing the Integration Directory Objects

Hi,
I created one simple RFC to RFC scenario.We have only one XI system. after creation of this scenario I exported the Scenario from Integration Directory. Then I deleted the configuration scenario from Integration directory. Now I tried to import the TPZ file which was generated before the deletion of the objects in the integration directory. I get following error :
"No business system found on the application server (XXXXXXX, 00) for client 001"
XXXXXXX is our XI server.
Now if I create the Business system for client 001 in SLD for XI system and tried to import the TPZ file again, it works.
What could be the reason for this? Also Please let me know if I have to do any configuration before importing the TPZ file in same the same system to avoid the above error.

As you suggested, I did the SLD cache refresh and also whole cache refresh. But Still I get the above error. and if I create the business system for 001 client of XI system then it works.
My doubt is why I get error only for 001 client. There are also clients in XI system. and I have business system for client 600 of XI system as Integration server.

Unable to Delete PI Integration Directory Objects

Hello Experts,
We are facing a strange problem in our system. When we wanted to delete some unwanted objects from Integration Directory from my user, I can't see any more in Object View, however can see in Change List with some X (red) mark before the object.
These objects are still remain and visible to other users in the respective scenarios.
When we try to delete from there, a confirmation pop-up dialog appears stating that data/object will be lost, when confirm (it says it is deleted) but remains in the change list.
We have verified in the object locked list, but there also nothing was locked.

Hi,
You need to activate the change list where the deleted objects are present for the deletion to reflect in the runtime cache.
Also, if these deleted objects have been transported to higher environments, you would need to transport the deleted objects for the deletion to reflect in the higher environments as well.
To do this, when creating the transport, keep the check box "Include deleted objects checked". Then you can select the deleted objects to be included in your transported (deleted objects would be indicated with a bin icon).

Which ABAP tables in PI will have the data relating to adapter engine errors (like the communication channel errors). Is there any way I can get the adapter engine errors from abap tables?

What I am trying to do is write a report in ABAP, which will read the table for errors (for messages which are not processed successfully in Integration engine or adapter engine) and email those errors to users. If there is communication channel error in RWB, the message in sxmb_moni is still shown as success and is not being updated in table SXMSPERROR.
We cannot use PI Alerts here since the email list is dynamic for the same PI interface.
Any ideas on how to accomplish this?

Problem restricting Integration Directory object access

Hi All,
We are trying to restrict access to a group of objects in the Integration directory. In the tab "Party" i select the option as follows:
Selection Paths -
Operator - Include, Party - Service without party, Service - BSR_TEST
Objects -
Operator - Include , Type = *, Action - Change
However, this role when assigned to the user allows create and delete option as well. Also, if any other role is assigned to the user and then revoked, the restriction does not work (the role mentioned above gives an Insufficient authorization error even for the objects it is set to permit)
Our XI system version is 7.0 with SP level 17.

Thanks again for your response. However any ideas as to why the role would stop working f user settings are changed?
Also, when i select the service using option - single selection and select multiple checkboxes (even 2) it does not work, where as if i add 2 rows with one value it is ok.

I have a requirement where I have to read the value from DCJMSCorreleationID property of message which is recorded in SXMB_MONI based on the SAP PI message ID.
I have 2 interfaces as below
Interface one (INT1) : JMS-PI-ECC --->Inbound interface to ECC when message is received on PI it will have DCJMSCorreleationID populated with some ID as shown below

I have a back up plan for ZTable approach but the only concern there is RFC calls for read and write
we have implemented a FM which gives the original payload using a std SAP functional modules FM SXMB_GET_XI_MESSAGE_INT and ECATT_CONV_XSTRING_TO_STRING
But I am looking for the SOAP Header information for DCJMSCorreleationID
So if there is anything which will help to read this DCJMSCorreleationID property easily form existing message SOAP header is really helpful

Admin Link not working for Integration Directory

Hi ,
I am trying to access the administration page of Integration directory by following the link
http://<host>:<port>/rep/start/index.jsp ; --> Administration --> Directory (Tab) .
Unfortunately It is throwing error as below:-
Application error occurred during the request procession.
Details: com.sap.engine.services.servlets_jsp.server.exceptions.WebIOException:
Error compiling [/build_info.jsp] of alias [dir] of J2EE application [sap.com/com.sap.xi.directory].
Exception id: [00145EC551640050000001D7000FE04E00044B0525324DE8]
Even if I am trying to access the ID admin link (http://<host>:<port>/run/support/admin ), it throws the same error.
At the same time the similar access to Integration repository are working fine.
Even the JAVA GUI of Integration directory is launching OK.
Can anybody figure out what might be the problem.

The problem seem to be that somehow the alias dir is not found (http://host:port/dir).
Could either try to restart application com.sap.xi.directory or redeploy.
Have you tried to restart the application from NetWeaver Administrator(http://<host>:<port>/nwa) --> Operation Management > Systems> Start & Stop . Select Java EE Application and filter for com.sap.xi.directory. Restart the application.
Also found by going directly http://<host>:<port>/nwa/apps.

Set Default Value based on Field from another table for a custom object

I'm trying to set the default value on a custom object field to the value of an account field. I have tried the syntax 50 different ways, and just am getting no where. The account field label displays as DBA, the integration tag is ltDBA_ACCT, and it shows up in reporting fx area as Account.Text_22.
The custom object field I'm triying to update is also called DBA, which was originally the "NAME" required field. Does the table name, Account, have to be included? Do I need a function in front of the field?
I have been updating the external ID using the row ID with syntex <ID> (Less than ID greater than) so I know it is possible to set the Default Value, but <DBA>, <ltDBA_ACCT>, "Account"."DBA", and so on just don't not work.
If anyone knows how to enter this I'd really appreciate the help.

Ok, so if you want to default a field to the value from another object, you have to use the JoinFieldValue function. I think you understand that, based on your original post, but I want to be sure that you do.
Next, this will only work as a default if the record is created from the object that you wish to join on because a default works at record creation and the ID needs to be available for it to work properly. It will not work if you choose the related object record after the custom object record is created. You could set the value as a post-default, but that does not seem to meet your requirements.
The syntax for the Default Value would be as follows: JoinFieldValue(ref_record_type, foreign_key, field_name).
In your case, ref_record_type is '<Account>', foreign_key is [<AccountId>], and field_name is '<YourFieldName>'. The best way to determine what the field name is would be to create a new workflow for Account and use the Workflow Rule Condition expression builder to pick your field ("DBA") from the list. The value that is returned by the expression builder should be placed in the field_name variable in the JoinFieldValue function (minus the brackets and in single quotes).
Give this a shot and let me know how you do.
