BPC 7.5 - Member properties disabled (grey marked)

Since the upgrade to BPC 7.5 some of the member properties are greyed (disabled).
Is it possible to change this setting somewhere?

Hello Martin,
now it's clear your question. The greyed properties don't have the check on the InApp properties of the dimension, so they aren't available in the OLAP and you can't use they in MDX functions or instructions.
If you need some of these properties on the OLAP you must go on admin console\modify dimension, check "modify dimension property" on step 2, click on step 3 and check the InApp for these properties, so they will be black.
Kind regards
Roberto

  • How to disable (grey-out) the ticks of a JSlider?

    Hi everyone,
    In my GUI, I have a JSlider that I want to be disabled (greyed out)
    because it should be only actived on my application next version.
    (It is important though to have it to preserve GUI appearence).
    Problem is that I was unable to greyout the ticks even though
    already managed to grey out the slider and the number labels.
    Right now, it is pretty uggly to have a partial disabled slider,
    because due to ticks not being disabled.
    Questions:
    1) Does anyone have an idea of how to do it?
    A small part of my code is shown below:
    JSlider dynSl = new JSlider();
    dynSl.setMajorTickSpacing(1);
    dynSl.setValue(0); //Default
    dynSl.setMaximum(7);
    dynSl.setMinimum(0);
    dynSl.setPaintLabels(true);
    dynSl.setPaintTicks(true);
    dynSl.setFont(new java.awt.Font("Dialog", 0, 9));
    dynSl.setSnapToTicks(true);
    dynSl.setEnabled(false);
    // small code just to put the numbers of the slider smaller
    Enumeration enum = dynSl.getLabelTable().elements();
    while (enum.hasMoreElements()) {
    JLabel elem = (JLabel)enum.nextElement();
    elem.setFont(new Font("Dialog",0,8));
    elem.setEnabled(false);
    2) If not possible, how do I change the colour of a JSlider (including
    the Ticks)?
    My idea is to change Slider's colour to the same grey colour one used
    to disable it, making at the end the slider look as if it was disabled.
    Thanks in advance,
    Jorge

    Hi again,
    Thanks for the help.
    I was trying to avoid not having the ticks at all but it seems to be
    the best choise because I could not solve the problem of greying out
    them.
    I did some more troubleshooting though and for my surprise, if I use
    the same code alone, i.e, a simple frame with just the slider it works
    fine. I even thought that it was related with having Windows LnF as
    opposed to Metal (Java) LnF, but that was not the problem.
    The only thing it comes to mind, is that there may be some problem by including the slider on a GridBagLayout !?!?!?
    Anyway,
    What has no simple solution, solved is! :-)

  • BADI/user exit for me22n - disable/grey out field quantity (MEPO1211-MENGE)

    Dear all SAP gurus,
    When changing PO (ME22N), I need to disable (grey out) the quantity field on item (MEPO1211-MENGE), when all scheduled quantity is already received (EKET-MENGE = EKET-WEMNG).
    Have tried using LMEIGICJI and Handle_event method in CL_SCREEN_VIEW_MM. But still doesn't go to the screen that wants to be disabled.
    Tried using BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST, but couldn't find how to disable the quantity field.
    (IF_EX_ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~FIELDSELECTION_ITEM only works for custom field).
    Please kindly advise
    thanks in advance

    Hi Ahmad,
    No need of ABAP, follow this IMG Path.
    Material Management -> Purchasing - Purchase Order ->  Define Screen Layout at Document Level
    After Executing it . Choose ME22 from list and then choose display icon.
    than double click Quantity and Price here uncheck opt. Entry and check display.
    save your work.
    Hope this works.

  • Acrobat 9 Properties bar greyed out for highlighting

    I have posted on this issue last year, and also wrote to one of the admins -- all without any solutions, and the problem remains as bad as ever.  I imagine there are a lot of other people running into this.
    Acrobat 9 Properties bar greyed out (or disappears entirely) when text selected: it happens to me CONSTANTLY, using both Acrobat 8 Pro & Acrobat 9 Pro, all fully updated.  Tech support is useless and refuses to acknowledge or solve this extremely annoying problem.
    I need to highlight text (using different opacities of highlighting) in a variety of PDFs: scanned-ClearScan OCR, ebooks, downloaded journal articles, etc.  None of them are "restricted" in any way for security, commenting, etc.
    Within a few minutes of editing, when I go to highlight some text or change opacity, one of two things will happen spontaneously.
    1) Properties bar disappears entirely when text selected (erroneously changes to "No current selection")
    or
    2) Properties bar suddenly greyed out when text selected
    It is absolutely inconceivable that Adobe is unaware of this absurd defect -- and is unwilling or unable to fix such a simple functionality so that it works consistently and correctly!
    And no, this is not a matter of "turning on/off" the bar using <cntrl-E> -- that's irrelevant to this defect.
    And furthermore, commenting text formatting changes are not retained when set as new default (e.g., opacity of highlighting changes randomly from 20% > 60%, etc.)
    And I don't want to reset all toolbars, because I have them customized just-so.
    Can someone with more expertise PLEASE, PLEASE explain this problem or suggest a fix?
    thank you,
    calguy2010

    Assumptions for this test:
    1.  Acrobat has been configured so that the "Text Box Tool" (part of the  "Comment & Markup Toolbar") is visible on the toolbar.
       (Tools --> Customize Toolbars... may need to be used to se this up)
    2. The "Properties Bar" is visible (a Ctrl-E should bring it up if it is not already so)
    If you had to make changes to get this configuration set, close all Acrobat windows before proceeding so that the settings will be remembered and used when new windows are open.
    ******BUG******
    Text box TEXT PROPERTIES only accessible in most recent file opened.
    Steps to reproduce bug:
      1. Open a 1st PDF
      2. Open a 2nd different PDF
      3. Arrange so both are visible.
      4. in the 1st PDF create a text box and notice how the window for the 2nd PDF gets the TEXT BOX PROPERTIES BAR
      5. notice how there is no way to change the text box properties in the first window.
      Results: Text box properties can only be changed in the most recently opened window.
      Expected results: Text box properties should work for all windows!
    Note that no properties (color, fill, font, ...) of any object (line, rectangle, callout, ...) can be changed using the Properties Bar if the properties bar is not part of the last window opened.
    The only kludgy workaround I've found is that if I need a working properties bar in a particular window I can:
    1) save the file to capture any outstanding changes that might not have been captured (this is an optional step)
    2) make a throw-away minor change to the file (I usually draw a short line segment)
    3) Go to File --> Revert (& Confirm)
    The file will close and reopen without the throw-away change and it will now be the last file opened so it will now have a working properties bar.
    Go here and report it and perhaps if they hear from enough of us they will take the time to do something about it.

  • Long grey mark on top of moniter stretches.... burnt?

    There's a long grey mark going horizantally on the top of my moniter, I didn't spill anything and it's not something that can be cleaned externally since I tried. The Apple menu covers it, but when I watch a movie or play a game or even use Windows (where the task bar is on the bottom) it is extrememly visible. I would post pic if I could but I don't have a camera handy.
    I don't believe I'm on warranty since I didn't get the extended warranty and it's been over a year since I bought it.

    Clicked and dragged out of the window....
    Miracle ! it disappears from all folders !

  • Mail Viewing Options Gone.  I need to DISABLE automatically marking a message as read!

    In Lion, the Mail Viewing options to disable automatically marking a viewed message as read are gone!  I absolutely NEED to disable automatically marking a viewed message as read!  How can I disable this if the option isn't present?  Is there a workaround?

    Ok...I take part of what I said back. It was MailActOn by InDev which allowed me to not automatically have a message marked as read.  See http://indev.ca/MailActOn.html for more info.
    Apparently the version I had loaded wasn't compatible with Lion Mail.app.  Since updating it, I know have this feature again.

  • Repeated Header Row within a Details Section Only of a Group Ignores Tablix Member Properties

    Ok.  I have a situation where I have a details section of a group, and I am trying to get it to repeat the row headers on each page.  It's not working.  I've gone into Advanced Mode, and addressed the static Tablix Member for the left-most
    field of the header row in question, set the properties for the Tablix Member to "RepeatOnNewPage:  True" and "KeepWithGroup: After", and still, it refuses to repeat the row header for these details.  I've tried rebuilding and
    not deleting the column where the grouping was originally assigned (without deleting the grouping, of course), and assigned the properties for "RepeatOnNewPage" to that left-most, grouping field, yet I get the exact same results.  I've looked
    up solutions, and even spoken to the expert of experts, but no joy here.  I'm using VS'10.

    OK.  So it is fixed... sort of...
    Apparently, you must select to add group headers repeated as you create the group (inc. child group), BESIDES changing in Advanced Mode, Tablix Member /Properties / etc.   Then you have to format that extra column within your Tablix to
    make it appear to 'disappear'.  BUT EVEN THEN, there is a new problem:
    The headers will repeat on the additional pages, but only to a point.  For some odd reason, SSRS doesn't consistently render the repeated headers of the group details for
    every page, just where it is a hard (page) break, as opposed to a soft (page) break.  My gut tells me that this has nothing to do with the .xml code, but is an SSRS idiosyncrasy.

  • MDX get member properties

    Context: SSAS 2005.
    How to get a property of a member? Is it member.property? I have seen member.properties() . When to use member.property and when to use member.properties()? I thought they are interchangeable then found they are not. E.g. Q1 and Q2 return the same result.
    Q3 works but Q4 won't compile. Can someone explain this?
    Q1:
    with member [measures].parentname as
    [Product].[Product Categories].CurrentMember.Parent.PROPERTIES("name")
    select
    [measures].parentname  on 0,
    [Product].[Product Categories].[SubCategory].members on 1
    from [Adventure Works]
    Q2:
    with member [measures].parentname as
    [Product].[Product Categories].CurrentMember.Parent.name
    select
    [measures].parentname  on 0,
    [Product].[Product Categories].[SubCategory].members on 1
    from [Adventure Works]
    Q3:
    with member [measures].parentKey as
    [Product].[Product Categories].CurrentMember.Parent.PROPERTIES("KEY")
    select
    [measures].parentKey  on 0,
    [Product].[Product Categories].[SubCategory].members on 1
    from [Adventure Works]
    Q4:
    with member [measures].parentKey as
    [Product].[Product Categories].CurrentMember.Parent.KEY
    select
    [measures].parentKey  on 0,
    [Product].[Product Categories].[SubCategory].members on 1
    from [Adventure Works]

    I'm not 100% clear on the difference, as I recall properties() returns a string and .property can return another datatype.. this is just from memory.  Why don't you try MEMBER_KEY for q4... did you look at the list of member properties?

  • Dirty Grey marks In LCD

    Hi
    Just recently noticed some dirty grey marks in my LCD, I say in because thats where they are.
    These dirty marks are both blotches and streaks.
    Areas affected are, bottom left, top left down to about a third way down screen and top right with a couple of small marks about an inch to inch and half in.
    I thought they were behind the front panel and caused by the fans sucking in dust. Removed glossy front panel only to find these marks are actually inside the LCD.
    Then I thought maybe image persistance, because I have the same wallpaper picture all the time, but I cannot see how the marks match up with the picture used.
    Trawled the net to see if I could find some answers, did find some other people who had had the same problem with Mac panels and had sent them in for repair. These people said Apple replaced the LCD and all was OK, but within a few months the problem had returned. So I am now thinking it is a waste of time getting my panel replaced.
    Surely this can only be caused by cheapo panels being used ? Sorry to say that about an Apple product but I see no other reason. So what is the way to go if I want to stay with Apple which I do
    Only answer I have is to buy a second monitor
    Sorry cannot take a picture of the marks........
    Anybody got or had similar ?

    I did have the same issue, after 6 mounths of use.
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=6391812&#6391812
    My LCD panel have been replaced and till now, no new marks... I've read these marks appeared because of an incorrect sealing of the LCD panel...
    So I would advise you to make your LCD changed: thoses marks aren't a fatality.

  • Difference between Name columns, Attributes, and Member properties

    I am studying for the "70-463 Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012" exam. I am using the "Training Kit (Exam 70-463): Implementing a Data Warehouse with Microsoft SQL Server 2012".
    In chapter 1 of this book the different columns of dimension are explained., however I fail to understand the difference between the following column types:
    - Name columns: Used for human names of entities
    - Attributes: Used for pivoting in analyses
    - Member properties: Used for labels in a report
    As far I can understand all those three are labels and can be used interchangeable. Am I correct? Or am I wrong? I suppose there might be some practical differences, but how can you tell?
    I would really appreciate some examples showing the same data in a LOB
    (OLTP), data warehouse (star schema), and data mart (OLAP cube) form.
    Thank in advance.

    If I understand correctly the difference is about context or how you use the column.
    I did some further reading, and now I understand that an attribute can consists multiple columns. This way the following is possible:
    An attribute can be combined of multiple columns: e.g. the attribute address can combined by the apartment number, house number, street name, ZIP code, city, state, and country.
    An attribute can be column which is also part of another attribute: e.g. apartment number, house number, street name, ZIP code, city, state, and country can all be attributes own their own and simultaneously be part of the address attribute. The difference
    is the context which depends on business needs and technical requirements.
    An attribute can also consists of multiple columns which are aliases. This can be needed to support multiple languages or allow user friendly names (which allows spaces and funny characters) to coexist with technical names (which use a more restricted naming
    convention and typically use camel case.) Another example would be an additional column for abbreviations which might be needed for narrow column headers. Depending on the context a specific column can be used.
