BPC 7.5 SP17 upgrade task list.

Dear Expert,
I'm just beginner on BPC, previously i'm a BW consultant.
We are going to upgrade our BPC system from SP10 to SP17 (current version is BPC 7.5 on SAP netweaver 7.01 SP10)
Basis team will do the upgrade from D -> Q-> P system.
So I want to know:
     1. Checklist for the tesing on the back end and front end side.
     2. Is there any other tasks from BPC consultant ( like Start and stop jobs, activate something)?
     3. Any related SAP note I should consider after upgrade?
Thank you in advance.
Phong.

  • Daily task list empty on upgraded mailboxes

In our network the Exchange and Outlook versions have been upgraded to 2010 versions.
On New created mailboxes the Daily Task List works as it supposed to.
On Old mailboxes the Daily Task List does not show any tasks, even though they where visible on their before the upgrade from Outlook 2007.
    Any support is welcome.

  • Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion I can't create a task list in my calendar app.  How can I create Task lists

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find info on how to create a task list using Mountain Lion?

The To-Do list thingy in iCal (now called Calendar) is gone in Mountain Lion.
The replacement is Reminders, in your Applications folder.
Also, have a look at "Notification Center" in System Preferences.

  • Post-upgrade tasks for OWB 10g Release 2

    Hi,
we're planning to upgrade from OWB 10.1.0.2 to 10.2.x.
Now, I'm trying to get a clear view on what will be the "post-upgrade" tasks, in terms of manual adaptations, corrections, etc. to get everything back up and running after the upgrade ...
E.g. : by means of test al already exported a dimension, and imported it in the 10.2 repository ... Turned out that in the pre-10.2 version, there were no validation problems, but as from 10.2 (although the upgrade and import were successful), I got 19 warnings and 2 errors ... because each level needs to have a business or surrogate key ...
It' s things like that I'm especially interested in, in order to determine the workload after the upgrade ...
So, feel free to share your experiences ; I'm looking forward to read them!
    Thanks!
    Grtz.

Here are some from my list. I stopped maintaining it a while ago, we have lots more where this came from. Some of it also apply to older versions of OWB.
Key lookup     You are to choose input and output attributes BEFORE being able to choose loookup table, all in a time consuming wizard
Expressions     Copy and paste into expression editor, validation fails for expressions using lowercase (such as "upper" or "substr")
Renaming attributes     Not possible anymore, you need to open details
Adding a table component     You must browse in a tree structure (time consuming), not search functionality anymore
Import     Import converting from 9.2 hangs after 15% in about 10% of all imports
Import     Some mappings are not possible to import, a total rewrite is necessary
Deployment     You can only deploy about 5-10 times before you need to restart OWB
Memory leak     If something goes wrong in OWB, memory is never cleared - JAWAW.exe needs to be removed manually from memory
Import     Importing mappings one by one (as this is sometimes needed due to OWB), the last directory used is OF COURSE not default when importing the next time
OWB GUI / mapping editor     When working with components in the mapping editor, an object hidden behind the object you are actually working with is selected prior to the object in visual focus to the user
BUG!     Urgent: CASE - wrong generated Code
ANSI JOINS     Remove ANSI-SQL from mapping configuration, otherwise (+) outer joins will not work
Transformations     Not possible to enter a transformation such as "sysdate", you must find it in a huge tree structure list (no search available)

  • URL Task List in System 9 Planning

We have recently upgrade planning from 4.0 to System 9.3; however, there was a feature in Planning task list where you can build a URL to retrieve report from Hyperion Report with parameter passiing from Planning to Report for a POV driven report. Does anyone know how I would convert the below link in system 9.
    http://xxxx:8200/hr/common/HRLogon.jsp?elementName_UTF8=%5cTMWSP+Planning%Workbook&sameWindow=false&elementType=2&attribute=Locations.id.Region%20GOODSITE&gridHeadings=0&viewAs=pdf

    Hi,
You can go to workspace and browse to the report through the explore page. Right click on the report and select properties. You should see the link called as smartcut over there. You can copy this link and use it in your task lists.

  • Task list creation in plant maintenance.

    Hi All,
I have the function module /ISDFPS/TASKLIST_CREATE which was used in my program under one more Z function module, we have a XI integration also here earlier we were using service pack SP10 so this program was working fine as integration with other interfaces was working fine. Now the client has upgraded to service pack SP14 and so the standard FM got one more parameter T_CUOB which was not mapped because in SP10 it was not available. Pls can anybody suggest me what is this parameter T_CUOB and what is the business significance of it.
The standard FM was used for creation of a task list in plant maintenance for Functional location, equipment etc.
    Vishnu.

    Hi Vishnu,
I am just wondering if you got an answer to this question. We are having the same problem, but we do not care what the value is for t_cuob, therefore we need to default it to something like null or blank.
    Thanks

  • BPC 7.0 MS upgrade - reinitiate SSIS packages required

    Hello,
We have recently upgraded from BPC 5.1 to BPC 7.0 MS version.
We have SSIS package to load Accounts (as flat file), which load the flat file into a staging table and then moved to <mbraccount>.
This setup works very fine till in BPC 5.1, after upgrade to BPC 7.0 MS and noticed that the Account - member are loaded in jumbled order. Further investigating, we found that the SSIS packages loaded to staging table in the same jumbled order and then followed to copy the same in mbraccount table.
    1. Should we required to re-initiate all the SSIS packages (custom built) after BPC 7.0 MS upgrade?
    2. Have SSIS packages to load other MasterData, the same procedure as above but no issues in display order of dimension members. Why is it so?
    Any clue..
    Thanks in advance.
    Warm Regards
    Uma

    Hi Tim,
    Thanks for the reply.
No change in the versions SQL SERVER  2005 and EXCEL 2003 for both SAP 5.1 and 7.0.112
These DM packages are customised and flow of data is as below:
Flat File -->  Clear the staging table (delete from stage) --> load the flatfile data into Staging table ( via Data Flow task, Table - Fast load option) --> clear the MBR tbl --> Copy Stage into MBRACCOUNT table
Not using the SSIS bulk insert.
This works well after gone live almost for 4-5 months in BPC 5.1 and as said recently upgraded in Mid June 2009, we have issues loading MasterData in jumbled order.
Account ids are all numeric. Flat file extracted from SAP R/3 is in correct sequential order and while loading into Stagingtable.. it sorting order varies and then copied the same into Mbr<dim> table.
Should this problem be with SSIS packages? Any clues.
    Warm Regards

  • Palm Treopro--Sync multiple calendars and task lists

I have more than one calendar and task list that I use in Outlook.  Is there a way to sync multiple calendars and task lists on the Palm Pro?
    Thanks,
    Al
Post relates to: Treo Pro T850 (Sprint)

I just upgraded to Pre 2 a couple weeks ago and have been experiencing similar problems with my Verizon model and a replacement.  Apparently it is widespread; there is a lengthy (11 pages so far) thread on it in this Community forum.  Try http://palm.lithium.com/t5/Synergy-webOS/strange-behavior-syncing-Pre2-Calendar-with-Google-Calendar... or Google the phrase "strange behavior syncing Pre 2 Google" (look for a search response that references "11 pages" or you'll miss some  of the more recent posts).  Not sure there are any good answers at the moment.  Very disappointing if so; the Google/Pre sync worked flawlessly on my Pre Plus for the past 15 months (webOS v.1.4.5)

  • Can We Add a Target System Once Task List is Open and Active?

Has anyone been able to add a system to an existing project (i.e., task list)? We have a pre-existing project that we created when we recently upgraded to ECC 5.0. At the time of the upgrade, we didn't upgrade one system (MNT) in the event we had to look back at how the old version operated or looked. We've since upgraded the MNT system and want to add it as a target system for the pre-existing project.
Is anyone aware of a method to add this system as a target without creating a new project?

    Hello Bob,
I've find your question. It's been a while since you've asked it, but did you already found a solution to adding a system to an existing maintenance project?
    I've got that problem now.
And I would appreciate it if you could forward me the solution.
(you can also mail it to [email protected])
    kind regards,

  • Pre-Upgrade Tasks

    Hi Experts
My client is planning to execute a 782 SIA to 8.1.1.x SIA Siebel Upgrade and as a part of initial pre-upgrade tasks we have following queries.
1 Lots of custom columns created on EIM Tables.Being known the fact that all the EIM tables dropped and recreated with vanilla schema ,please let us know how to preserve the custom extensions done on the EIM tables as a pre-upgrade step.
2 We have ENU as primary and 4 other Global languages deployed on both Application and database and planning to execute the Multilingual upgrade for all the langs at once.Any pre-upgrade tasks with respect to the Multilingual setup.
3 Please list the obsolete tables for the above upgrade path and also any handy sql query to identify the custom columns and indexes on these obsolete tables to preserve the date.
    Thanks in Advance.
    RR

    Hi,
Your understanding of the upgrade is not correct. As long as your X columns are in Siebel Tools they will be there after the upgrade. Promise.
The steps for the ML upgrade are all in Bookshelf for you to read. You will need to install the all LEP's before attempting to run the upgrade. There is also a step to make sure you LOVs correctly reflect your languages with no missing languages or extra languages.

  • How do you copy/move the ASU Toolbox task list from one system to another

We are upgrading from 3.5 to 7.01 and have maintained the the task list in /n/asu/upgrade in our sandbox.   I would like to be able to move the task list to our other systems so I don't have to reenter the tasks again.  I know the base tasks are in an xml file but I don't know which one.
Does anyone know how to move/copy the tasks from one system to another?

I agree with Antonio, but since we don't know if the Mail app on the Mini is the same version as the one on your new iMac, I'd err on the side of caution and allow Mail on the new iMac to set up; additionally, I'd prefer to start with a new preference file. In order to make it easier, you could take screenshots of all the account windows on the Mini. You can then use those to enter the info when setting up Mail on the new iMac.
After Mail is set up, quit Mail. Go to the location outlined by Antonio (Users-Library-Mail) and compare the folders with the folders from the old Mail app; i.e. the new Inbox folder should be empty -> remove that (drag to trash) and replace it with your old Inbox folder (same with Sent, etc). If you have old folders not found in the new location, add them.
When done, open Mail and your folders and emails should all be there.

    Hello,
Recently we upgraded our E-Recruiting 3.0 SP12 system to SP15 (13,14,15).  Does anyone know of where I could obtain notes on post upgrade tasks?  i.e. things to check, activate, etc.

  • Activate Save as Template in collaboration task list

    Hi all,
I have created one task list and assigned to some users, now i want to use this task list as a template for my room. But in the default task list "Save as Template" button disabled. Now i want to activate this button then only i have save this task list as a template. How can i activate it. I am using EP7 and SP13. Help appreciated.
    Regards,
    Senthil k

There is no magic button. You're not missing anything.
In CP4 you were able to open a .cp file and Save As .cptl.  That's been the way it worked from version 1 to 4.
But Cp5 doesn't work the same way.  You can't save a .cptx file as .cptl template in Cp5.
The workflow now is File > New Project > Project Template.  You have to begin each new template from scratch.
I find it annoying too, but I think it's been done this way because Cp5 templates have some extra functionality built in that just isn't present in the normal .cptx files (e.g. placeholders).  I'm hoping we can get the old workflow re-instituted for Cp6.
If your Cp4 designer is still using Cp4, he/she can turn them into cptl files and then send them to you to upgrade them straight to Cp5 template format.
The other workaround you can do in Cp5 is simply to create a new .cptl file at the same dimensions as your .cptx and then copy/paste the slides you want over into the template.  A bit more work than Save As perhaps, but at least it then means you can end up with a template file for future use.
    Hope this helps.

  • Task Lists Alerts Will Not Send Using AD Groups

    SharePoint 2010 (upgraded from 2003 to 2007 to 2010)
    Exchange Server 2013
Alerts on Task Lists will not be sent if "Send Alerts To" is determined by AD group rather than being identified by specific user account.
This was working previous to our Exchange servers being upgraded to 2013, but sometime afterwards (we are not sure it was directly after) they stopped working.  Our test server (straight 2010 install) still sends these alerts.  The "you have
successfully created an alert" still works in both environments.
I have tried this on a new Task List, recreated the alerts, restarted the alert service, still no dice.  The service is clearly still running, since it will send an alert to someone who is specified by their user account instead of just part of the
AD group.  It can't be an Anti-virus or filter issue, since the same users can receive an alert when they are added directly to it, but not if they are added through a group.  We have verified the settings in AD (and it's still working on the test
server anyway) and I can't think of what else to check.
( I followed all of the steps in the marked answer for
    this post as well)
Could this be something spcific to the 'upgraded' version of SharePoint?  That is the only obvious difference between our Prod and Test servers.  Does anyone have any other ideas?
As always, thanks for any input!
Elli J Project Solutions Specialist Blog: http://projectserverpants.wordpress.com/

Inderjeet: The groups are both AD and Exchange, that terminology may have escaped me in my explanation.  I'm a weird admin because I know little about the standard windows side and only work in Project Server and SharePoint.
The alerts work on our test server for the groups specified, and the "an alert has been created" function works just fine, so it seems like SharePoint is able to determine who is in the list and send to exchange just fine.  It's just the "Alert me"
function for new items or changed items, etc, that's not sending.  Thanks for your help!
