I assume you've entered your password correctly? But it keeps popping up or time out?
What type of email account is that? Gmail, iCloud, Yahoo, or some individual domain/host/whatever, or an Exchange account?

For some reason my QuickTime player has stopped playing all my .avi movies, I can't seem to upgrade and it doesn't offer any solutions except that it may need additional software but not what or where to obtain it from? Help most of my movie are in .avi!!
Google 'Perian' and 'Flip4Mac' — these are the extensions that will make QT play other file formats.
However, a simpler solution is just to abandon QT in favour of the free, open-source player VLC, which plays just about everything natively without further downloads.

for some reason osx mountain lion has disappeared from my purchases and now when i want to install mountain lion on another mac with the same apple id it wants to charge me for the program even though i have already purchased it. what do i do?
Open the Mac App Store on the other Mac and in the Quick Links sign into your account. See if the Mountain Lion purchase is among hidden apps in the iCloud area of your account info.

I have an iPhone 3gs, operating on iOS 6. For some reason, I'm unable to custom delete individual photos from my photo library. When I select the Edit button to do so, I'm only given the 2 options of "Share" and "Add To". My Camera Roll does everything the way I wish my Photo Library would. Can anyone help?
Only photos in the Camera Roll can be deleted. The rest of the photos got there by synching to your computer. You get them off the same way.

I got my iphone & ipad many years ago. My ipad was stolen and I had to set up a new user ID for some reason. But all my old purchases are on my old ID. When I try to do the reset password it gives option for security question or email. Security question is my DOB which I obviously know but it tells me it is wrong. When it emails me, it doesn't show up in my inbox (maybe it was my old work address when I originally set it up). How can I get in so I can access to all the stuff I bought before my ipad was stolen? Can I merge the two apple IDs? Help!
If you have a rescue email address on your account then have you checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well ? If you haven't (the reset email would go to your primary email address if you don't) or its not there, and you've tried requesting the reset email again, then try contacting Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset the email for you.

You can't merge accounts, nor transfer content between accounts. What you might be able to redownload will depend upon whether the items are still in your country's store (audiobooks and ringtones are one-time only downloads), and if you've moved countries since buying them. What you can redownload will show in the Purchased tabs in store apps on an iOS device, and the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on a computer's iTunes. THis morning my yahoo mail stopped updating at 8:32. I turned my iPad off and on nothing. I deleted my email and then load d it again nothing. Looking for other suggestions. But my email works just fine on my iPhone.

I can send an email but I cannot receive any emails in my Apple/iPad mailbox using Yahoo. However, my iPhone is working just fine! I finally downloaded the Yahoo App for mail so I can at least receive my emails on my iPad. All very frustrating! -

Reset doesn't seem to work, this includes factory! Please help.It certainly would not hurt to let the folks at the Apple store take a look to verify things. If the product is less than a year old, or you have AppleCare on one of your Mac, the Express may qualify for free replacement.
The Apple Store may also some some refurbished Express devices on hand at a discount if you need to buy, or they can direct you to the Apple online store for the same thing. -
I cannot access my Itunes account as it rejects my I.D which is my email address. I just want to access my music and haven't bee able to for months. I have hundreds of dollars worth on there. Thanks Nicole
For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now. They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.

1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

This is the second time that firefox has done this to me. My settings are saved to open my last window session so when i closed all of the tabs i expected my last session to pop up or at least be listed in my history. Unfortunately it did not and I do not know how to retreive them. Some of the websites i know i was on were not in the history. I've been opening the same session for the past 1+ month but couldn't seem to find all of the sites in my history.

All of the sudden, my font changed on my email. When I check my email on Internet Explorer, it's fine, but on Firefox, it is so tiny I can't read it. It was fine yesterday. I tried deleting cookies and clearing the history, but no look yet. I have all of my bookmarked pages on Firefox, so I really want to be able to use it.

So like it's on my iPod but i can't open it it just says underneath the name it says " wait.. " plus I just got this like a month or 2 ago & it also freezes alot. What can i do about it freezing & the app?? It's the 4th generation & the app says that it's compatible with it.

You can log out of your iCloud account via Settings > iCloud > Sign Out (or Delete Account if not on iOS 8), and you can then log back in with the correct id.

Try syncing the apps from your iPhone to your computer then sync the music using iTunes.
