In Photoshop Elements 12 I can print but not scan..error message "Cannot find Wia compliant device". It can find the device or else it wouldn't print. How do I get it to scan??

I have tried everything to get the program to see my printer. By reinstalling divice drivers for printer to reinstalling program several times. Still I can print from my printer but not scan. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the update.
If you can scan with the HP software then at least we know the system can see the scanner.
Can you try the organizer to see if that works any differently. Once you load the organizer, go to the Edit menu and select Preferences -> Scanner - see if that sees it.
Since you are on Elements 12, you still have the twain option available to try. See the following document which describes moving the twain driver.

Yes, it works. Download the trial and see for yourself. Adobe never updates the system requirements after any version is released, so that is what was available last Sept. when PSE 13 was released.

8620 prints, but then gives error message on Surface Pro 3

This error message has been bothering me for some time. From day one when I print from my Surface Pro 3, I get an error message that my document (doesn't matter what it is) did not print. About 95% of the time, it actually DID print but I get the error message. So whenever I print, I don't actually know if the error message is bogus or not. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of the drivers and apps on my surface, but to no avail. Can anyone help me keep my sanity? Here is an example of the error message from just a little bit ago. Notice the error message in the upper right hand corner. And this "test print" did actually print.

Photoshop Elements 6 will install but not open

I have tried to install Photoshop Elements 6 several times. After what appears to be a successful install, the program will not open. When I go to log off my computer I get a message that Photoshop Elements is still running and my computer is unable to end the program . Under the task manager it shows no applications running but Photoshop Elements shows up in a few places under the Processes tab. This install is directly from the program cd. Any ideas?

I rec'd yellowish admail, I can't delete it, I can send but not receive email. "Cannot Get Mail,connection to server failed". This is on Wi Fi from my lap top which has no problems?

The adware comes in on my sub account (almost hourly), it is always on top of my Inbox. It's funny I can send and receive from my sub account, just not my main account.
I am able to get Safari. I see one previous suggestion to delete account, but I'm afraid I would then lose my email address. I tried on another wi fi and still had the same problems. I also saw it may be a password problem, but if that is so how do I get Safari? I also rebooted. Any suggestions?

If you delete your mail account from your iPad you won't lose your address. I've deleted and re-added my mail account several times.
It'd be the same as.....I have a favorites list for a website. I can delete that favorites list, but the website is still out there. I just need to retype the address. Same thing with the mail.
The worst that'll happen is that you'll have to redownload your mail onto your iPad.
Who is your mail provider? Are you accessing it via their app (for example the yahoo app) or are you accessing it via safari or via the iPad's mail app?

Last week I was in spain and I bought a Sim Card With a data plan to use my Blackberry. everything works find I come back to my country and I put my original SIM into the BB.
Now, I´m able to use all the funtionalities but when people from Spain try to send me a BB Message the message never arrive but if I write to them everything works fine and they get the message...
It is something like the routing system is bad... Maybe my device continue register in spain and when the people there try to write the message goes to a wrong place... beacuse I can wirte them normally.
I already register again my device and replace the services Book...

There is no restriction for BlackBerry Messenger from one country to another. It would be very very odd, as is in your case, that ONLY users from one country were restricted to messaging you, or vice versa.
I suggest that you ask for the issue to be ESCALATED to RIM level, BlackBerry support, they should give you an escalation number and transfer the issue to trained BlackBerry support technicians. That is what you should do.
If you don't want to do that, or won't do it based on thinking they won't be able to handle, the only two suggestions I have left is to completely delete BlackBerry Messenger (Options > Advanced > Applications) from your device, and reinstall it from www.blackberry.com/messenger
The second suggestion would be to delete ALL of your service book entries on the device (Options > Advanced > Service Books), delete each, and then resend them to to your device by following the instructions below:
1) Register HRT:     (OS5) Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Scoll to any line entry and > press the Menu key > and then click Register Now. If you have an OS 6 device, Look at Options > Device > Advanced... etc.
2) Resend Service Books:   KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Can recieve but not send email messages

My work email accounts are forwarded with no problem to my phone, but I can't send email; it stays in the Outbox. Can anyone help me walk through/sync my settings to correct this?

Hi my 3rd gen iPod nano is not connecting to iTunes - the error message says there is missing software to communicate with the device. I am running iTunes 10.4 on XP and I have tried all the troubleshooting routes to no avail - anybody help me out?

I can't get Itunes to communicate with my 3rd gen Nano - I've reinstalled iTunes several times but still get the same error message for both mine and my wife's ipod - same version of 3rd gen. All the troubleshooting guide has been followed but still not connecting.

Never mind, I think. I think I figured it out. There was 1 song (out of > 900!) that somehow had been purchased with the other ID - I have no idea how. Once I deleted that song, it stopped asking.
There may be something with the newest iTunes version too. I didn't think in older versions that the "On this iPod" list of songs was greyed out. But at least it syncs ok.

Can reply but not create new message

My wife and I both have iPhone 4. Starting yesterday she can reply to texts that I start but if she creates a new text to me I don't recieve it. I've only gone as far as doing a hard reset on both phones with no change. Everything else ( mail and phone) is working as far as I can tell. Any ideas are appreciated.

I deleted and re-entered my contact info and it still didn't work. I went into preferences>messaging and noticed that receive at was set to my email and when I tried to change it to my phone "error" was next to my phone number. So I reset my network preferences and then got a message saying that starting imessaging failed and to try again, so I did and now it's working. Strange. Thanks for the help.

After updating to Firefox 32, I noticed that the 'server not found' error messages now look differently. I don't like the new look, so I wonder if you know about an add-on that restores the old look. I've tried searching for it, but I don't know the proper name of these error messages, so I'm not sure what search phrase I should use.

Hi , and I see you are both having trouble scanning after upgrading to Windows 10, and I may be able to help. Most products do have updated software available on HP's support website for Windows 10. I've also seen a few posts that say the Windows 8.1 driver will work for Windows 10 as well, so you could try that too. HP provides a free tool called HP Print and Scan Doctor to diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems. I recommend downloading and running the HP Print and Scan Doctor, if it doesn't fix it automatically let me know what errors or messages you receive. Do you know if you are able to scan using Paint? Have you checked whether you have folder for PSE Organizer? It is normally at this location in Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1:
<C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Elements 12 Organizer>
If the folder is there then try double-clicking on the file called: PhotoshopElementsOrganizer.exe
If the folder isn't there at all then you need to re-install the package again using your original disks or from download from Adobe website. <Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10>
