Partner function in vendor account to pay two vendors(payee)

We have a Purchase vendor against whom we raise the invoice .However payment has to be made 50% to this vendor andanother 50% of the same invoice amount to another vendor.
Is it possible in partner function that we could have to payee vendors.How to make config for this or is there any other alternative.
Please advice.

Partner functionality does suppport the rquirement given.

    One to Many
    One account group have many partner functions (Account group - Sold to have many partners SP,SH,BP,PY)
    Business case - As it is totally depends on requirement
    Example - If sold to party performing role of SH,BP,PY then for customer master you can determine this partner functions 
    lf your sold to, ship to, bill to, payer  are diffrent the you can crete diffrent acciunt groups and create master then assign in sold to part master
    Example - Sold to party, bill to & payer is 1234 But ship to ABCD
    If you have sales employe and that don't have speciefic to customer then you determine this partner function for sales document header and maintain at time of sales processing

  • Vendor account with two bank accounts -payment

    Hi
    For the vendor account we have two bank accounts .When a invoice is raised through MIRO ,we want the 50% payment to be made through First bank account and the rest payment to the Second bank account.The vendor has two bank accounts and wants 50-50% payment on a single invoice to be paid to two different bak accounts.
    How can this be configured and at the payment time in APP how will the system pay to two different bank accounts.
    Please advice.Please let me know if i need to provide any further details.

    The only solution in SAP standard for vendor bank account selection during payment program, when you have created partner bank types.
    Then, if you want to post to a different bank account then you need give the partner bank type in the invoice, then, the different bank account will come ( we can make partner bank type field as mandatory in the field status group).
    For choosing the vendor's bank account, you have to use the field 'Partner bank type' (BVTYP). It is present in vendor's master data (LFBK) as the print. screen shows it above, and in the document line items (bseg-bvtyp).
    Remark: We should use a substitution (with user exit) for filling this field automatically according to your own rule.
    Also, to define that it should be 50% to the first bank and 50% to the second bank, than you need an ABAP'er for this

    Hello Friends,
    I am creating vendor master record with internal no range.I wanted following clarifications.
    1.In partner function screen, I want to have same vendor no which i am creating to be assigned automatically to VN.OA PI and GS funtions at the time of its master creation.This is not happening in my case
    2.Partner function like VN,OA,PI and GS does not appear automatically whereas i have to select it manually.

    Hi,
    During defining the partner Schema, please follow the process:
    a.Create partner Schema
    b.After creation of partner Schema, select your partner Schema and click u201Cpartner roles in schemau201D and you will have next screen
    Now for Partner function like VN,OA,PI and GS as you required and select the check box of mandatory
    and save.
    Now try creating Vendor and you will have Partner function like VN,OA,PI and GS in vendor master.
    Note: The following configuration steps for Vendor master are:
    1. Create Vendor Account Group.OBD3
    2. Maintain Number Ranges from Vendor account Group:XKN1,
    3.Assignment of Number ranges to Account Group,OBAS
    4.Partner Function: SPRO->MM->Purcahsing->Partner Determination-> partner roles->Permissible partner role sper account group
    5.Partner Schema:
    SPRO->MM->Purcahsing->Partner Determination->Partner setting in Vendor master record-> Define partner Schema
    6.Assgin partner schema to accont Group
    SPRO->MM->Purcahsing->Partner Determination->Partner setting in Vendor master record-> Assgin partner schema to account Group

  • Replication of Vendor BBP_VENDOR_SYNC - Partner Function required?

    Hi everyone - quick one here...
    We are running Vendor Replication from R3 to SRM, and are using Replication Program BBP_VENDOR_SYNC overnight to do this. I am aware that we need Purchase Org Data setup for replication to occur.
    Now we have 2 Account groups, 1 with Partner Functions VN, OA, and PI, and the other Account Group with NO Partner functions setup.
    Replication picks up the Vendors with partner functions, and misses the ones with no Partner Functions. The only way to replicate the vendors with no Partner Functions is for us to manually run the old BBPGETVD.
    Am I correct in assuming that at least one Partner function (VN?) is a prererquisite in order for BBP_VENDOR_SYNC program to work?

    I am not able to find the Partner Functions tab in the Purchase Org Menu .
    But i can find it in the Customer Sales Org menu .
    Can any one help on this ??

    You  need to perform below settings
    Run transaction NWBC, enter the role SAP_MDGS_MENU_03 and choose Start NetWeaver Business Client for HTML.
    Choose Search Vendor.
    Choose (Customize Page).
    Note
    If an error message is displayed concerning missing object component Customizing proceed as follows:
    End of the note.
    Choose New.
    In the Create Customizing dialog box enter a description and choose OK.
    In the Select Transport Request dialog box choose OK.
    Mark Main Page BS_BP_OVP.
    On the Overview Page Schema tab, click on Section: BP_SECTION to open the UIBB structure.
    Mark UIBB: ERP Vendor: Sub-Ranges BS_SP_SUBRANGES.
    In the Hidden Element field in the Attributes of UIBB section select Visible and choose Save.
    Repeat the procedure as of step 4 using the following values:
    Edit Page BS_SP_PURCH_ORG
    UIBB: ERP Vendor Purchasing Organization: Different Purchasing Data BS_SP_PURCH2_ORGS
    UIBB: ERP Vendor Purchasing Organization: Partner Functions BS_SP_FUNCTIONS
    Edit Page BS_SP_COMPANY_CODE
    UIBB: ERP Vendor Company Code: Withholding Tax BS_SP_COMPANY_CODE_WITHHOLDING
    UIBB: ERP Vendor Company Code: Dunning Areas BS_SP_DUNNING_AREAS
    To show the corresponding UIBBs within Block and Mark for Deletion change requests, mark an existing vendor in the search result list, choose Block or Mark for Deletion and proceed as described above as of step number 3.

    Hi Sundar,
    Its very simple.
    Go to IMG - SPRO - SD - BASIC FUNCTIONS - PARTNER DETERMINATION - SET UP PARTNER DETERMINATION - SET UP PARTNER DETERMINATION FOR CUSTOMER MASTER
    Now select Account Groups - Function Assignment in the left hand side column.
    Now based on the account group that you use while creating customers through either XD01 or BP transaction, assign the relevant partner functions against your account group.
    This should help you solve your query.

  • Partner Functions not appearing

    When the PO is created manually, the Partner Function is being picked up from the Vendor Master. But when the PO is created for the same vendor with reference to the PR, the Partner Functions are not being populated in PO. The Vendor Master has Partner Functions defined and the Partner Schema is assigned to the concerned Puchasing Document type and Vendor Account Group. Any specific reason why the Partner Functions are not appearing in PO when created with ref. to PR?

    Check vendo subrange or plant level data is ativated for that vendor.
    Are you using the same material & Plant for both manual PO & PR to PO ?
    Also check in partner determination > partne settings in purchasing documents > defie partner schemas, here end & higher level check mark is there?

  • Confusion on partner function of ALE process

    Hi experts,
    Now I am developing the ALE for message type ORDERS in inbounding process for testing purpose. Our customer is running their business in SAP and her company code is 6000 in her SAP system, and our company is vendor in her system, the vendor number is 1100. She create a purchase order and run the transaction code ME9F then the IDOC will send to our SAP system, and then the sales order is created in our system. Actually the whole process is OK. But I am really confused by the partner function setting and sales area setting in VOE4 and VOE2.
    In VOE4, the setting is below:

    We had to create a customer number 6000 in order to make the ALE process smoothly. So I just want to know:
    1) We really need to make our customer number same as company code of customer in her SAP system if we use ALE ??
    2) If answer of 1) is yes, then in our production system, the customer numbers are different from their company codes, what and how do you suggest to mapping the is relationship?? Use a user-exit in IDOC??
    3) if answer of 1) is no, how can we make the ALE go next smothly??
    Can any one give me a suggestion on above??? Thanks in advance.

    hi,
    to add partner function sales employee follow these steps:
    1. img>S & D>basic functions>go to partner determination screen and select customer master and select your partner proceedure.
    2. now double click on partners in partner proceedure and add partner function SE using new entries and save.
    3. now assign the partner function to you account group and save
    to create a sales employee goto t code PAL1 and create sales representative.
    to add sales rep to your customer master goto your customer master using XD02 and in sales area tab goto partner tab and add the partner function SE and the sales rep number and save

    Then assign that partner function to the account group.
    Then assign that partner function to partner determination procedure for the item category.
    Over here click on the mandatory button also.
    Then assign that partner determination procedure to item category.
    Then to XD02 and give your customer number and in the partner tab maintain the data for that partner function.
    Now go to VA01 and create your sales order you will see you partner function.
    If you wont have maintained it in the customer master then it will prompt an error.

    Go to VOPA....
    1.Create Partner Functions as many as required....say PF1,PF2 and so on...
    2.Assign all the partner functions to the account group.
    3.mark the partners as mand or notchang in the procedure details....
    Once u r done with this u can add the PF1..PF2 .....in the customer master/sales doc....

    Hello SAPians,
    I have a issue with regard to Vendor Account Group,can you please help me with some information
    Issue is:
    User want to change the Vendor account group of some vendor and there are few things need to be changed for TAX year 2012.
    what conditions need to be checked before changing the acc group.
    I checked the present acc group and new acc group,I found there is some diff with Number ranges and the fields in General Data,Company code data,purchasing data ,purchasing sub range & purchasing plant fields.
    And the partner determination procedure is defined for the old Account Group and it is not defined in New acc group.
    so for all these scenarios how I need to proceed further or suggest the user in order to change the account group.Please let me know the compatibility problems other than these.

  • Mandatory partner function at sales order item level

    Hi all,
    I'm customizing partner schema at item level for sales order. I have created a custom partner function, I put it in a new sales order item partner procedure and i set this partner function as mandatory (I want that system show me a message if this function is missing at item level in sales order). This partner function is defined only at sales order item level (not at header level or customer master).
    If i create and save a sales order with an item type that use the item partner procedure I have created, system don't show me any message for the item custom partner function missing, else if it is set as mandatory in sales order item partner procedure.
    I have read some posts in these forums about this functionality, but it seems a different situation.
    Someone had a similar type of problem?

    I have to pay custom duty to the government for the imported goods. Do we need to create a vendor master for government in this scenario or if not how can we tackle that it? Do we need to have a separate reconciliation account for this or are we using the same account that we use for trading vendors?

    Hi MK,
    The Vendor account creation for Custom vendor is a normal process, just like you create any other vendor.
    As regards a separate recon account, the normal Vendors show liability for good purchased, whereas this would be liability for taxes and duties..
    You can assign the same recon account, which you assign to all other vendors for Taxes like Service tax, Excise, TDS etc..
