Dear Gurus,
I want to configure new payment term where if customer dont pay within 30 days we want to charge 3 % penelty and if customer dont pay within 60 days we want to charge 5% penalty.
How can I configure such payment term in SD?
I had check in payment term details where the fields available are for discount..but not for penalty...
Can anyone please guide....

shyam

You can go with TCode FINT.
Check this thread

You can also have a look at note
a)  912714 and
b)  1164996
though many notes are there on interest calculation.

    Message no. ME172

    Hi,
Assign FR2  to condition type ZCHA in schema ZJICIM.
Actaully FR1 is used for the clearing account & FR2 is used for the provisions in which both G/L accounts assigned to FR1 & FR2 are balance sheet accounts.

  • Contract Cancellation and Penalty Charges

I have recently received the letter from BT informing me of the impending price rise for line rental etc. I have generally been happy with BT but I'm now finding their basic price structure prohibitively expensive, so took the decision to move my business elsewhere.
I contacted BT last week only to discover that I was tied to a automatically renewing 12 month contract that doesn't end until next March which would cost me over £40 to terminate early. My issue is that I received no notice from BT that the contract was renewing before the anniversary and there is nothing on the regular bills or the account section of the website stating this date. BT assure me letter were sent but it seems a common theme that these don't always arrive. According to BT's T&C's these letters should arrive in plenty of time to cancel if required. I understand that this price change may also be viewed as a material change in the contract I hold and so should allow cancellation without penalty.
I raised a complaint to this effect as I feel these are extremely sharp business practices and generally unfair. I was told by the person raising the complaint it was basically a waste of time as these issues are regularly turned down. I received a call this afternoon stating the complaints dept was happy with the situation and would not be acting further.
From what I understand Ofcom has already reviewed this situation and next month Penalty charges are being slashed. Please could somebody let me know how I escalate my complaint to Ofcom and also if there is an exact date when these reduced penalties come into effect?
    Rant over. Many thanks.
    Rob

I can't believe this. I had exactly the same issue and looking at the date on your post, on the same day! My paper bill didn't arrive this month, it was due yesterday, today I received a call saying I had to pay my bill, so I checked online and noticed that the discount of my contract wasn't there.  I called them and they said they renewed my contract without my concent, neither my letter nor by phone. Like you they said a letter was issued, but I never got that letter because I had to complain from day one signing with BT, and I was desperate to get to the end of the contract. The person who picked up my call is some other part of the world, said I HAD to fulfill my contract whether i signed it or not. Obviously, they know nothing about consumers rights.
I'm not sure how to deal with the situation now because I'm not going to pay for a contract that I didn't agree to, neither will I pay for contract that increased in value, and a contracted that was set before the letter changing the line rental.
I'll keep an eye on this thread in hopes that someone has an answer for us. I'm sorry this has happened to you, but I'm glad in a way that my complaint is not the only one.

  • Ridiculous penalty Charges

Just been told to leave contract will be charged 220 quid!! I'm actually moving in with someone to save for my own place and he already has BT so can't take it with me.
I have Broadband Option 1 and anytime calls, been told my contract doesn't end till Feb 2013, I have no paperwork to tell me I had signed for an 18 month contract. I have asked them to provide some proof of that now.
I don't mind paying a fair penalty charge but this is outrageous amount.
What happened to the lower penalty charges by OFCOM?????

I think you'll find a verbal agreement is a contract when it comes to telephone sales. If not then broadband, TV and mobile suppliers wouldn't have sales agents in call centres. By your reasoning, if a verbal agreement is not a contract, then BT don't have to provide what you agreed they would when the sale was made? Contracts work both ways. You agree to pay for the length of time agreed, and the company agree to provide a service for that length of time so long as payments are made. If not they have to be seen to be trying to rectify any issue within a reasonable time frame.
There is a get out clause in that, if the speeds you're getting are lower than the minimum speed range expected for your line you can cancel in the first 3 months, no questions asked. This was brought in by the regulator last year.

  • Penalty charges

    hi,
Penalty charges need to be calculated on services .
    service amount =Rs 1000
    penalty =Rs 50(-)
    net price =950
But tax should be calculated on service amount not net price ,ex( 10% tax on Rs1000  not Rs 950)
how do i configure in M/08 and M/06.
Kindly help me solving the issue

    Hi,,
Create condition types for penality with percentage, and actual service amount in M/06. Specify whether it is header or item condition. In M/08  give step 1 for service amount, in step2 penality 5%, the counter step is 1. For taxes also counter step is 1. Create different pricing procedure bycopying standard pricing pricing procedure. Remove theirelavent steps and inculde desired condition types and counter steps according to your requirement. Thanking you.

  • Posting of Dunning Interest and Charges to Customer

    Hi All,
I have configured Dunning and in the letter generated it displays the Dunning Charges as well as applicable Interest, which is correct according to the configuration.
However the same is not debited to the customer account. I have maintained all necessary account determinations for the indicator assigned to dunning procedure.
Kindly let me know how to post interest and charges to the customer through dunning run( F150).
    Thanks in Advance.

    hi,
about this FI posting of a dunning charge (FI-ar, not FI-CA)
this is not standard SAP !
But you can do it via the Busines Transaction Event (BTE), please check via transaction FIBF (menu > Environment).
You should have a look to event 1071 = dunning charges, where SAP deliveres a sample, SAMPLE_PROCESS_00001071

  • Tax rate to be charged to customer

    Hi,
Our customer has already paid us the billing amount but in few of the documents we need to charge the VAT amount to them.(it was decided later)(Also I am using MWST for Tax calculation)
So, we can create a debit memo with reference but the problem is that the tax is calculated on PR00 and if we put PR00 then that amount is again an extra charge to the customer.(also it gets posted in the Revenue account)
Moreover, I have a requirement that the VAT amount should go to a VAT Account only.
Any suggestions as to how to achieve this?

    Hi,
You are correct that the customer would be overcharged if you copy the PR00 & the Vat would be calculated on that
here is how you can go about
    1) Create a discount confdition type or use an exsiting one to be used in the debit memo
    2) create a debit memo with reference & give the discount which would be equal to the original PR00 value,
here you will have to manipulate the pricing procedure for Debit memo in such a way that nullifies the PR00 value & only posts the VAT,
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • 10YRS,4 LINES, NO DISCONNECTS=OUTRAGEOUS CHARGES, POOR CUSTOMER SRVC: NO RESOLUTION BE WARY........

My husband & I have been with Verizon for 10 years we last changed our plan in Nov 2009 and occasionally we have had a bill higher than usual but it was explainable.  However, in July I received a bill for $673.00 OMG called immediately since we had nothing different happen.  I was assured that I had been told wrong and that the $404 in "UNLIMITED" text would be taken off and would be contacted again if something needed to be verified.  No word!! Next bill charges are still there call again assured the same thing....Well NO PHONE SERVICE....call again was told would take 25% off well if you see it's your error & are going to take that little amount off why wasn't the $404 charge taken off as I was told it would be.  Didn't get anywhere so called one last time and was told Oh my we are sorry let me get you to customer service an get this fixed now......Guess what THAT CSR TOLD ME 3 DIFFERENT REASONS FOR THE CHARGES even said she couldn't figure it out but saw where I was told it would be fixed but that was all she could do.....REALLY 10 YEARS, 4 PHONES, NEVER BEEN DISCONNECTED FOR NON PAYMENT, NO ISSUES AND YOU CAN'T FOLLOW UP ON YOUR WORD!!  Apparently I am not the only one this happened to anyone else had, or is having this problem.  I guess I am so upset because we ALL pay extra for service with a contract and this is the service we get NONE....$50 Pre-paid unlimited Everything No Verizon Plan can match that so maybe they should remember Customer Service is taking care of the Customer.....

    Hello hnanney,
Wow! 10 years! VERY impressive! Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be your wireless provider for 10 years! The experience you have had with the billing is NOT how we want to celebrate our 10 year anniversary as your service provider! May I ask is this issue resolved for you? If not then would you would be so graciously to allow me to investigate this issue to ensure that every part of your bill is in sync with your expectation. I will send you a private message offering additional assistance to you!
    Thank you...

  • Excessive charges & poor customer service

BT clearly have no interest in customer service. After having payment difficulties BT appeared to be understanding to the situation in giving me more time to pay. They assured me that the fact that I had contacted them would mean I would not face further charges. Now, after making the payment I find that they want an additional £32 in charges. How on earth can this be justified? It's nearly the cost of 2 months line rental! When I contact their so called customer service team, they don't seem to understand why I am complaining. Having been with BT for over 7 years I think it's clear they are not really looking to retain they loyal customers.

My saga with BT is highlighted in the complaints letter I sent to them. I am very doubtful I will get anywhere but I would appreciate anyones help and support regarding the matter. I can see many people have been through the same anguish and frustration as me.
    To whom this may concern,
I am writing to you regarding the bill I have received. This bill states that I owe £130 for an engineer call out charge however I had no knowledge or information about this £130 charge other than a text message from BT which actually highlights I should not have been charged for the engineer call. The fault is with the BT internet phone you have provided me.
My partner spoke to BT the end of January to report that our BT internet phone (provided by BT) was not making a ringing sound when it was called. The phone lit up when someone was phoning however when I went to pick up the phone the line was dead. This fault was reported to BT. We thought it was a fault with the line however the internet was connecting without any problems and this was explained to BT when we phoned them. The result of this conversation was that the BT representative said he would send an engineer out. This was the end of the conversation; there was no mention of charges for this service. I was led to believe this was what BT would normally do as part of their procedure so I agreed that an engineer could come out to check the phone. No mention of a call out charge was discussed with me or my partner.
The BT engineer then visited to look at the fault. He said there was a problem with the equipment provided by BT. He said he would contact BT and ask for another BT internet phone to be sent out. As he left he said ‘don’t worry I will put down that it is a fault with the phone not your line’. There was no discussion about a call out charge. The only information I have received is a text message from BT to say ‘we’ll visit you at 13:00 and 16:00. If the problem isn’t with BT equipment you may have to pay a repair charge’.  This text message highlights that I should not be charged for this visit because as the engineer states the fault was with BT equipment.
As you can appreciate it came as a shock to me to find a bill which is asking me for £130 for the engineer call out charge. I have made numerous calls today and have spoken to representatives at BT to try and resolve this issue. I have spoken to a number of people at BT including the supervisior. All have said that they have looked at the notes made by the engineer and he has stated that he has informed me of the charge. Nothing in writing was given to me other than a text message which confirms that I should not be charged as the fault is with BT equipment.
My partner then called BT the afternoon of 21/03/2011. Again we were informed that BT could not remove this charge and there was nothing they could do to help. One representative said that we should make a complaint to BT and Watchdog as he agreed we had good reason to question this charge.
I have lost my faith and trust in BT as a company and I would appreciate your feedback and support in this matter.
Since then I have had a call from the complaints department who was very abrupt and said he had done his bit and cant do anything else. He states the phone which BT have provided is mine and therefore the cost of the engineer charge is down to me! He had not explained the complaints process to me and I have had to research into this myself. My next step is getting to deadlock and getting ombudsman involved.
I am really appaled and frustrated with BT in general.

  • Freight Charge to customer

How do I transfer my Freight charge determined at the shipment level for multiple deliveries in a shipment.
The freight charge can only be determined at the shipment level and cannot be entered in the delivery. It applies to the whole container.
The freight charge should then print on the first invoice related to that shipment as there can be more than one invoice for each delivery.
    E.G.
    After transaction VT01N
Shipper determines weight and wants to charge $400 charged by the forwarder to the customer.
How do they transfer it to the customer?

  • Free Goods (Tax not charged to customer)

    Hi to all Gurus
I m using inclusive free good and for this i am using R100 and NRAB the problem i m facing is this in case of compnay in which we are working tax on free is beared by the company not the customer. Now when i include  the Taxes amount to R100 Discount value the Tax total figure is passed on to Net Value field for  that item and it also effect the total net value by the tax amount because the tax is coming with - in net value(NETWR) and + in tax field (MWSBP). But the GL enteries are working fine this problem is only effecting the Net Value Field which is used for Standard Reports
    I have also tried all the condition routines i.e 2 ,4 ,55 ,28,59,29
Kindly all of u through any solution to my problem

Why dont u use "Pricing For Inclusive Free Goods Without Item Generation"
To do this, you can use the standard condition type NRAB. It is set up as follows:
It does not determine the discount from the condition record. It uses condition basis formula 029 in the pricing procedure to determine a discount from the free goods factor.
The condition receives the new pricing requirement 059 in the pricing procedure. This requirement checks whether free goods have already been determined.
The condition type receives condition category f. This condition category ensures that the condition is redetermined every time the quantity is changed, since this can also mean a change to the free goods quantity.
Hope this helps & Rewrad if does
