Unable to see the sales area data while creating BP
i am working on ides while creating BP data set (Sales area)is in not visible i am unable maintain the sales area deatils ( shiping and billing relevant data .etc).
could some help me how to retrive the sales area data

Hi Kumar,
In that case I recommend you to check the view V_TBZJ1 in transaction SM30 and see whether the line
Subheader Screen text Description Appl. Scrn.seq.cat.
CRM001 Sales area data CRM CRM1 CRM001
exist or not if not then pls maintain it.
Also check the view V_TBZJ1C for the lines below
Subheader Description Item number Active
CRM001 CRM:Sales area data 2 X
If this also not exist then maintain it.
After this you will be able to see sales area tab when you will create the BP in role SP.

yeah there is a FM to get the info of the sales area data of user
you just see a rule for the org model named
orgman 12
it actually drives the sales org info of the user assigned to the org unit
i guess the FM name is
CRMD_ORGNMAN_OBJECTS_7
but you can confirm it by goin inside the rule ORGMAN12
just use t code pfac
and there in go inside the rule for org model
and there in ORGMAN12 u can see the name of the FM

As per the standard taxation practice,Tax determination depends upon the Tax liability of a Shipt to Party.
But in a Customer master The Tax classification is maintained in the SALES AREA DATA-BILLING TAB,To my understanding
the Billing Tab data comes from Sold to party.If so how does Billing tab convey the Tax liability of Ship to party.
I am Confused,please let me know in terms of Customer master and Partner types:
1) Which Tabs under the sales data i.e Shipping Billing...come from which Partner.i.e like Sold to party.
(Clarification required on the Sales area data information coming from which Partner functions).

There is no need of any confusion here
All the tabs and data or fields pertains sold to party only
If for a sold to party say 1001 if he himself is going to be SH and PY and BP then there is no confusion
If for a sold to party say 1001 the ship to party is 1002 and PY is 1003 and bill to party is himself that is 1001
This is what mentioned or assigned in the partner functions of CMR of 1001 in the sales area data
This means there are another CMR lies in the name of 1002 and 1003
Whenever an order comes for 1001 as Sold to party for tax classifications the ship to paty 1002's master record is accessed by the system
System accesses another record for a particular detail (tax details)
Similarly for this customer 1001's order for payment terms 1003's CMR is accessed by the system
System accesses another record for a particular detail ( for terms of payment)
There is no need for any confusion and if you run this in the system with different data you will understand it much better

No valid sales area Error while creating orders
Hi,
I am having another issue in my system. When i am trying to create a any sales transaction and enter the sold-to/transaction type i am getting error saying 'no valid sales area for the BP'. But for this same BP i am able to see the sales area in the BP tile set. WHen i click on the dropdown to select the sales area it is empty. I am not seeing any sales area inf the sales area pop-up box. Did i miss anything related to sales org download from CRM to CDB? I will keep checking.
Please let me know if i am missing anything.

You are correct. For the employees in SMOMITABT i do not have sales area in SMOMITAREA?
What i did is i added these employees in PPOMA_CRM and did a delta uding CRMD_DOWNLOAD_OM. But this did not get any data to SMOMITAREA.
I also tried adding ORG in SMOEAC itself but that did not help either. Do you have any suggestions?

Not able to see the Oracle JRF option while creating a domain.

I am new to OSM development. I am trying to create a Oracle JRF domain using Fusion Middleware. In the select source template for the domain creation screen I am not getting the Oracle JRF option. I am using Weblogic 11gR1. May I know the reason why I am not getting this option?

I downloaded the latest patch from OTN. But when I tried to install it, it threw an error - INST-07010 : Validation of Oracle Home location failed. The location specified does not exist.
The weblogic version is 10.3.3.
The error is thrown since in the middleware folder there is no folder called oracle_common. To see what happens if I created this folder (oracle_common) manually, the pack installer returned an message stating that the s/w is upto date and no upgrade is needed. I am still not seeing the template source - Oracle JRF.
Questions:
1. How is the folder oracle_common created?
2. If the s/w is upto date then why I am not seeing the Oracle JRF option while creating the domain?

Unable to see the subject area in obiee11g after installing the biapps

I had installed the BIAPPS 7.9.6.3. I am able to deploy RPD and webcatlog successfully. After that i had faced the following issues
1. Unable to login into analytics -- Resolved. ( I replaced the system-jazn-data with old fie (location : C:\OBIEE11G\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\config\fmwconfig) then after i am able to login.
2. I am not able to see the subject areas as well as i am not able to edit the privileges through in manage privileges -- unresolved
Can any one help me how to resolve the issue. Is due to the system-jazn-file or any thing else

Can't see the sales area in XD01( in all sales area) even OVXG has defined.

In XD01 while creating cusotmer master in all sales area system is not showing 7800-90-01( sales area)even though it is defined in OVXG.
This is the reason why may be am not able to create customer in 7800-90-01sales area.
here is the screen shot.
And OVXG. I think what ever OVXG it should be shown in customer master XD01 in all sales area right?
And let me know what more setting could be missing?
and the same above in Development system it is displying in Xd01 in all sales area hence am able to create customer master in sales area 7800-90-01.
I have compareted all the required settings in DEV and Quality system ( example VOR1, VOR2 and OVXG etc) all are same in both the system.
Please share your thougts.

My understanding is that you have no problem in creating in customer master whereas there is an issue of sales area in Quality system. As mentioned by you you have compared all the configuration setting in both the client.
Suggest you to please compare at table levels as well like "TVTA for comon distribution channel and similarly for the common division (which i dont remember now) .I have faced this issue before thats why i am suggesting you to please check.

rahulRahul, I would instead try to go to Planning Area and check for Data Extraction Tools on the top menu bar. The data sources if defined correctly should show up as one of the options in the data source field that you see. Ensure you have followed the steps based on

Unable to see "New from Par" option while creating Custom portal layout

I am unable to see "New from Par" option in Content Administrator. I am trying to create a custom page Layout for which I am need create layout using new par file. I am not able to see this menu option. Does anyone know from where to enable this option?

Go to VA05, click your mouse on "Further sel.criteria", so that you will have some options to choose like "Sales Document Type", "Created by".
You can choose either of these and execute so that it will display the respective document.

Popup we recieve for the realistic delivery date while creating PR

When ever we create a PR for non stock item, we get an information message saying that Can the Realistic date be met, the date here is being either calculated by Processing days in configuration or by the Planned delivery time in Material master.The user is using Offset in the General tab of the component view.The offset maintained is same a sthe date reflected in Purchase Requistion.
Is there any way out to bring the date in the popup as per it is being maintained in the offset?Hi,
As said system will consider the GR processing & planned delivery times,offset in MM02 while calculating requirement date , if u want to give preference only to Offset when it is maintained in IW32 then i believe u may have to re-calculate the delivery date with any of the options ..
1. Check it via user exit :- COZF0002 Change purchase req. for externally procured component
2. If ur in ECC:6 .0 ,EHP4 then u can manually change the delivery date by activating business fucntion set LOG_EAM_CI_3

BP Sales area data can't be replicated without the tax classification saved
Hi Gurus,
We're facing a funny problem here. Our project is using CRM 7.0 integrate with ERP 6.0. CRM is acting as a leading system, which means BP would be created from CRM only and flows to ECC. At the very beginning, we were not able to replicate the BP sales area data to ERP, and an err msg in SMW01 says "tax classification not defined." even i've indicated the tax classification in the BP already. And the sales area data was stuck there forever, never go to ECC.
Later we found out that, the tax classification must be saved before we maintain the sales area data. and it worked fine if we follow this rule.
And we checked the middleware program, it always delete the tax classification when update the sales area from the CRM data flow.
Please advice if this is the standard behavior, if yes, how to make the process make sense and prevent the data flow stuck.

CRM BP type Sold-to-party Sales Area Data button not displayed
Hi Gurus,
Currently we are in the system preparation stage, but there's a problem in BP maintenance. For the BP type Sold to Party, the sales area data button is not showing up in the button bar with the General data. I only can see General data and Relationships here.
The sales area has been maintained in the system already and can be displayed in the reference bp. Not sure any config will affect.
Appreciate if anyone can give me a clue.

If you have chosen the role, and the button is not coming up following could be the possibilities:
1. It might sound funny but it is a possibility that You might ALREADY be in the Sales Area data screens. Check if the "General Data" button is active. if it IS active then you ARE in the Sales area data.
2. If not 1, above, then check the authorisation for the id to create BP for Sold to party and / or Sales area.
3. Still No, then check if the screen config for creating BP is std or its a customised one wherein maybe the button has been rendered inactive. You can check by taking an existing BP who might already be a sold to part for a sales area. If this is your first case for a Sold to party then you might look at the screen config for sure.
Do write back if you still need help.
