10 Second LAG after taking phone off LOCK.

Does this happen to anyone else? If my phone has been locked for more than 20 minutes, when I go to unlock it.... it seriously take about 10 -15 seconds for the phone to do ANYTHING!! What the hell is this issue?
I had this issue even when the phone was BRAND NEW, no software, pictures, videos, contact, nothing. WTF.. should
i return this and get another one?
I also get random LAG other times as well.. (not normal 1 - 3 second lag... im talking 10 - 15 seconds here at least)

Memory cleaner is Disabled. As I said before, the phone is STOCK, out of the box.
I just remved the battery for the first time since i got it, and it hasnt done it since...

E72 camera lagging after taking picture

I've had my E72 for a little over a month now, and I'm pretty satisfied with. I have recently come across an annoying problem though: When the phone has been turned on for some time (30-60 minutes) the camera starts to lag after taking a picture. The duration of this lag can be up to 40 seconds, and it is pretty annoying that I have to wait for that long between shots. If I turn the phone off and then on again the problem goes away for a short period and then returns. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know what I can do about it?

I've had my phone for a while now, and just recently discovered that I have this issue too. After I take a photo it takes 20-40 seconds of processing before I can take another, or before I can close the application.
I updated to the v22 firmware, but I didn't take photos before that so I'm not sure if it was like this from the start.

I have updated to ios 6.0.1 but wifi goes idle after the phone is locked

Recently, I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6.0.1 but after that, when the phone goes locked, the wi-fi icon disappears after 30 seconds.
I have to unlock it again to get IP address and connect to network.

Connect the device to iTunes and restore from the most current backup.
If the issue continues, restore as new.

Wifi won't stay connected after switching phone off and back on

This does not seem to be the apparently common problem of either dropping wi-fi signal OR losing wi-fi after the phone sleeps.
I have a 3GS. My wi-fi works fine all day while I'm around the house even with multiple sleep events. However, when I switch off my phone at night and then turn it back on again the next morning, the phone stays on 3G. If I go to the wi-fi settings, it shoes wi-fi is "on" and I can select my network and it will join it right away. It just doesn't rejoin automatically.
I am not certain about this, but I think this problem may have only started when I recently switched on the "ask to join networks" setting. I have tried turning this off but still the problem remains.
My wife's 3GS and my son's 4 both stay connected after a switch off and back on, and we are all using the same network.
If anyone has any suggestions I would be most appreciative. With three of us now sharing the cell data plan we are getting very close to the limit each month and want to maximize wi-fi usage.

Contacts duplicated after turning phone off

Last night I turned my phone off for the first time in a week since getting it and when it started back up I found that any contacts I had with a name only in the first name field had duplicated these names to the surname field so all my call logs and text messages were from for example john john. Anyone else experienced this or know why it happened?

TouchID for App Store purchases doesn't work after turning phone off and back on?

TouchID for unlocking my iPhone 5s works 99.9% of the time. It's fantastic. However, using it to authorize App Store purchases, NOT in-app purchases, is less fantastic. In my case, it seems like every time I turn my phone off and back on, the phone forgets it's can use TouchID to authorize app purchases. I have to go into Settings -> General -> Passcode & Fingerprint -> (enter my passcode) -> Fingerprints -> iTunes & App Store, and turn that off. Then I have to turn it back on and enter my Apple ID password. Not exactly a quick procedure. The good news is that once I turn it back on, it works like it's supposed to until I turn my phone off and back on again. If it can remember to use TouchID for unlocking the phone, why can't it remember to use TouchID for authorizing App Store stuff? Am I missing something?
Anyone else experiencing the same thing and/or have a solution? Thanks!

Help with syncing my phone after taking it off auto-sync

I turned off my automatic sync on my iPhone 5 (the option in the Summary that says "Allow this device to automatically sync when plugged in" or something like that) and now when I plug it into my Macbook Pro, it doesn't appear anywhere on my iTunes. I even checked on File > Devices and the menu options to sync it isn't clickable. Help!

Yes. Problem is, I don't believe there's any way to get the existing contacts into Google contacts.
If you set up the phone to sync your contacts to Google, you'll notice when you look at groups in your contact list on the phone (assuming it worked) that you have separate groups for contacts from your computer and contacts from Google. You can't move contacts from one list to another on the phone.
In iTunes you'll see there are options for what application you want to sync your contacts with. If you have a Windows machine, you can sync to Outlook or Windows address book. You may be able to extract the contact list on the phone by turning this on in iTunes.
WARNING: If you're going to do this, make sure you have at least 1 contact in the program you're going to sync to. If you do, it will ask you if you want to merge them. If not, the phone will be overwritten with the blank address book from the computer.

Long "lag" after taking a screenshot.

I press CommandShift3 to take a screenshot of the entire screen. By default, it goes to my desktop, as it should. The problem though.. Right after pressing the three keys, I hear the camera-shutter sound effect for the screenshot, but after that for about ten or so seconds, everything is completely locked up.
I can still move the cursor around, but trying to do anything with it results in nothing, sorta. After the "lag" ends, whatever I had done with the cursor during that time suddenly happens, such as moving windows around, or clicking on things.
I don't get a spinny wheel during that time either.
Any ideas as to what could be going on?
I'm running a clean install of Leopard that is two days old.

You need to have Quartz Debug restore the interface scale for you.
Open your Developer folder on your hard drive (install the Developer Tools if you haven't), go to Applications, Graphics Tools, and launch Quartz Debug.
Go to Tools > User Interface Resolution (or hit command-U) and set it to something other than 1.00, and then change it back. Quit Quartz Debug and the screenshot shortcut should work again.

IPhone4 ~30 second lockup after taking picture.

I have an odd problem with my iPhone4. I'm running iOS 5.0.1. Whenever I am in the MMS app, and click on the Camera icon from within the app. the camera launches. I take the photo. However once I click "use" the phone locks up for a good anywhere from 10 to 30 seconds. Then the App will then unlock and the picture will be added to the current MMS typing field as it should. Funny enough the issue also happens if I launch the camera app seperately, then go to the MMS app, the MMS app will be frozen for a few seconds, even if I don't tell it to select any photo or anything.
I have tried the usual. I have copied my Camera Roll over to my computer and deleted it from the phone. I have also went through and deleted all MMS convorsations so the MMS is blank, not to mention I have already restarted my phone a bunch of times. I have yet to try restoring and setting up my iPhone as new, but I only want to try that as a last resort.

Basic troubleshooting steps as well-outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset and restore. If you're reluictant or not willing to restore, then there's nothing else to suggest to you.

Not getting email alert after shutting phone off

I have a LG Alley. Ususally leave the phone on 24/7 but I've noticed that when I do shut it off and then turn back on my email alert sound doesn't work. I double check the settings and they are there. Eventually, after some time, the alert sounds do work. Anyone know why the alert sound doesn't just kick back in when the phone is turned on?

I have a similar issue, except with a few quirks.
My alert settings are set to make a noise and vibrate when I get a text. My silent switch is set to 'normal'. Sometimes, randomly, when I get a text, it will not make a noise; the screen lights up and shows the message, and then after a short delay it will vibrate.
Similarly, I think I've noticed in silent mode, it sometimes just lights up and doesn't vibrate (which it is set to)
Any ideas?

IMovie HD effects stil aren't rendering right even after taking it off

I completley took it off my iMac and reinstalled it and still I click apply the red bar fills and finishes then I play it over and the effects aren't there. My effects aren't 3rd party they're the ones iMovie HD comes with. I did download some 3rd party ones but those don't give me a problem but I think they might be causing this problem. I recently downloaded deDigitalEffects and before it all the effects worked. I tried iMovie on my sister's MacBook and iMovie worked just fine. How can I get rid of deDigitalEffects and why are my default iMovie effects not rendering right?

It seems to be the effects under Quartz Composer or whatever the ones where you click the triangle and more come. Those ones are the ones not working. I downloaded 3rd party effects but those aren't a prob but I think they could be causing it. I went on my sister's MacBook who doesn't have deDigitalEffects and her effects worked fine.

Can I get my videos shot with my ipod back on my camera roll after taking them off?

Need on my camera roll so i can use them in an app.

If you put your videos (this works with photos too) in your Pictures folder (Windows) or in iPhoto (Mac) you should be able to sync them to your iPod using iTunes and going to the photos tab and checking the 'Sync Photos' button. Note: If you want to sync only that individual photo/video you'll need to put it in a folder inside the Pictures folder (Windows) or put it in a separate album (iPhoto) and click sync selected folders/albums in iTunes.

I can not use my bluetooth on my 4S to use SIRI when my phone is locked.I have a JABRA Wave. Is SIRI useable after the phone has automatically locked?

I recently purchased an iPhone 4S. I also recently purchased a Jabra Wave bluetooth. When my phone is unlocked I can use Bluetooth handsfree to invoke SIRI. After the phone automatically locks I can not use SIRI. I can still receive calls. Is this an issue with Jabra Wave, IOS?

Same issue here both with my iphone 5S as well as my iPad2. THe sync to my macbook air does not complete and it shows a large overcapacity level when connected, but once I disconnect there is plenty of room (4 GB) available, not a 20 GB overage.
