The first thing to check would be your internet download speed, you can do this at www.speedtest.net.
HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps, while SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
Additionally, your 24 hours don't start until you begin to watch the movie, you have 30 days to start watching the movie.

First be sure login and password are OK. Sometimes the address starts wit "http://..." and sometime starts with "ftp://...". Try both normal FTP access and Scure FTP access (SFTP). At the end, contact the site's provider.

I recently downloaded the latest iTunes for Windows update, and now when I open iTunes my menus are in Korean. I live and work in Korea but want my menus in English like they always have been. • Ipod won't connect to the internet

I connect to the internet with my Macbook OS 10.5.8 using older Airport Extreme version 5.7.
My modem is Motrola surfboard and my isp is a cable company.
I can go online with my Macbook but I can't connect to the internet with my 4th generation iPod touch.
I can connect to the wifi network but when I try to open a webpage with safari, it gives me following error message - "safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet." I tried to reset my iPod to factory setting, installed updates for my iPod, changed my airport extreme settings, disable firewall on my mac, but nothing seems to work. My iPod can go online using other wifi network. I just can't go online using my wifi network at home. Please help.

  • My iPod won't connect to the internet

I'm having trouble connection my iPod to the internet. I have successfully connected it to a WiFi network which has worked in the past, but now, when i go on Safari, for example, it doesn't come up with the usual message of "Connecting...", it just says "Safari cannot open the page because it is not connected to the internet."
I haven't changed any security settings on the router... the only thing that's changed is that i haven't used it in two weeks! Does anyone have any advice?

Not an uncommon problem and usually easily solved. First off, if you are using WEP encryption, you can either 1) switch it to WPA2, 2) use your WEP key as network password, 3) reconfigure your WEP passwords so that they are either 5 characters (48 bit) or 14 characters (128 bit).
If you are not using WEP and have this problem, the following generally works:
    1. Reboot your router by unplugging it from the power.
    2. Reset the network settings on the touch - tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
    3. When the touch restarts, then tap Settings > WiFi > other and retype your network name, security settings, and finally enter your network password.
    4. And finally, if your router still is not issuing you the proper credentials, then check the manufacturer's website and download and install the latest router firmware.

  • My First Generation Macmini won't connect to the internet

My Macmini is a very nice computer!!I play a game called Minecraft on it, minecraft.net, but the internet keeps saying"Connection Time Out"! And please note that I'm not an admin!!!:( Please Help!!!

I think you'll need someone with admin rights to try this...
Make a New Location, Using network locations in Mac OS X ...
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2712
    10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x instructions...
System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

  • Our ISP changed the way we access the internet. Since then, wireless devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod won't connect to the wireless and hold on to it. Devices get on, but then drop the network and can't get back on. Then it will appear, magically.

Our devices keep getting dropped off the wi-fi. The computer and lap top are fine, but the iPad, iPhone, and iPod all keep losing access to the network. We have tried:
Resetting the D-link, restoring Airport Extreme to its factory settings, resetting netowrk settings, powering down devices, turning wi-fi on and off. It has been pretty frustrating to say the least. This all started after our ISP changed our... I am not sure what it is called, but the thing stuck on the house outside to broadcast across the valley to the mountain where we get our internet.... Any other fixes?

I guess the issue is the Airport Extreme. We put back our old D-link and everyone is on. The Extreme did not live up to my hopes - (guest network, limit wi-fi for my children's devices to a certain time period...) And, it didn't last long - I think it is only a year old, if that. I have restored it to factory settings but to no avail.... perhaps it was a dud. Is anyone else actually able to limit access? I set it up but it quit working over and over and the kids were on whenever. Then we started losing all the devices in the last few weeks - laptop fine for wi-fi, iPad, iPod, iPhone all randomly kicked off and let back on.
This is a great idea - and it would be worth replacing if I knew my new on would work. Thanks for replying lllaass!

  • My ipod won't connect to the internet but my friends ipod will and it's on an open network

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.
Does the iOS device see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
Did the iOS device connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on your router
.- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

    - Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
    - iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Youtube video's seem to "freeze" the image while the audio continues playing. Never had that problem with Internet Explorer...how can I fix this?

I used to use a different...server?...Internet Explorer. Before, when I used that, I could watch video's on youtube and they would run smoothly-image and sound in perfect sync. Now that I'm using Firefox per suggestion of a computer savvy friend, I can't watch youtube vid's in the same way. Most of the time, the audio will keep playing, but the image will stop. The only way I've discovered to prevent this is to be playing with the mouse on the side of the screen constantly. (which, when playing music video's for background while cooking dinner in the kitchen, it's rather impractical to be running back and forth to be playing with the mouse)
I'm not a very computer savvy person. I'm using a laptop...it's an Acer...I think I have either Windows Vista or Windows 7...

    Thank you very much.
I scanned my computer and see that it is not a virus problem. The problem lies with FoxNews.com not being compatible with the latest Flash Player or plug-in. I can view on-site videos from within Firefox on all sites except FoxNews. It is the only site that has a huge separating space in the middle of the front page. and that displays a large area of code words where it should have an ad: "clicksor_default_url = '';clicksor_banner_border = '#99CC33'; clicksor_banner_ad_bg = '#FFFFFF';clicksor_banner_link_color = "
I ran the super bug-killer "ComboFix" (thinking the code was from the "Clicksor" virus) and was relieved to discover that it wasn't a virus.
I can easily view videos on FoxNews from within Internet Explorer (and there is no "clicksor" code displayed in IE either). The problem lies somewhere within the Firefox version of Adobe's Flash Player /plug-in or FoxNews' incompatible code. Users are being kept up-to-date with the latest Adobe updates, but FoxNews must be using old software and needs to catch up. There must be a lot of people having this problem.
